Brave is a crypto-supportive privacy browser, where users can earn a free Basic Attention Token (BAT) for simply browsing their favorite site in the browser by clicking the ads. Brave is one of the safest and browsers we ever had because it blocks intrusive ads.
Brave will launch its first privacy search engine this year.
The brave browser offers its users to view nonintrusive ads in exchange for crypto tokens which is the BAT.
The brave browser was launched last 2019 under the auspices of Brendan Eich, Mozilla co-founder. The project is geared toward protecting user privacy, and it was built around crypto; it's ad-free but will allow its users to click ads and reward them with BAT, a crypto token used to incentivize using the browser.
Just recently Brave plans to launch a search engine later this year. The company announces it during a press release, to create plaa ne search around Tailcoat, which is their recent project. The upcoming Brave search engine will be powered by Tailcat's index of websites. The search engine will not gonna collect IP addresses or personal data. This will be the big difference between Brave search engine and the Google's search engine.
Brave Search will be the company's attempt to take an edge out from Google's dominance currently, Google's search engine has a 92% market share.
During the press release, the company said they are building the search function around the recent acquisition: a project named Tailcat's. It was developed by the team behind the now-defunct Cliqz search engine. Brave Search will be powered by its independent index website, which guarantees not to collect IP addresses or personalized results that were based on the information identified as Google does.
As per Wired Brave Search also develops a “Goggles” function, which will filter out certain kinds of results.
Brave Search will come in the first half of 2021.

Brave is doing well the increase its dominance in the area. So far DuckDuckGo search engine has been doing well but a new integrated one can also be quite useful.

I been using brave for half a year now and it went from expectation to disappointment At January 2021 100 ads can still get you around 8 or 9 bat but now a 100 ads can only get you .2 or less bat Not that I am complaining but for mobile users who needed 25 bats to verify that well take forever to earn.. Brave is like discouraging mobile users from using it Especially now that another mobile browser that mine btc at the background appear I expect Brave would change the mobile verification policy but it remains as it is. while surprisingly the value of bat increase but as for the brave browser I don't expect to much from it..
Same goes for me, I've been receiving ads very seldom. I used brave last year too, I just got verified last January I think. It's very slow if you rely on their earnings. But I could not complain since it was just a free reward, and I like Brave loading fast without taking our privacy.
Honestly, I don't trust anything Google says. Brave has proved to be on our side and privacy-oriented, yet, their BAT rewards are astonishing. I am enjoying the rewards of up to 1 BAT daily.

You have a good amount of rewards daily while mine is getting lower and lower.
Do not worry, your rewards will increase again, once new advertisers pay ad places on sites you are visiting. YouTube is still the greatest source of BAT rewards since almost every video contains up to 3 or more ads.
