Filipino believes that a newborn baby is a lucky baby. When you gave a blessing the Angel will return it to you ten to a hundred times. And that happened to me.
I lived in the province where people are so what others called semi barbarians, where people still believe in the supernatural, that unseen creature, and what they called Goddes.
When I am young my mother always says out loud my name when it's gonna be dark, they believed that you may lose your guardian soul during going out and may cause you harm and you will become sick.
People here are very controversial that they still believe in "alay" or offering to the unseen soul, they say that our beloved family visits us during our special occasions so we must put the offering for the soul.
And many more believe and traditions but one thing that stuck on my mind is that babies are lucky. When you offered them blessings the Angel will return them to you. 10 to a hundred times.
Superstitious is Super.
I have been observing the elders when I was young. I know it's a modern era and some of the beliefs are not proven or true at all.
One thing you must know is that believing in your elders is a sign of good respect. That was my parent tough me. Any religion or organization that has different ways of practice must be respect no matter if you believe the same practice or not.
Religion may have also superstitious beliefs
Filipino adopt Chinese Superstition.
Some Filipinos had been believing in Chinese tradition even they are not real Chinese.
Every new year, who can't be attracted to Chinese Feng shui guy to advise that your luck for this year if you do those things:
Place water from your windows.
Pour salt from your door.
Place twelve different kinds of circle shape fruits.
Make noise during midnight, so the bad spirit will fly away.
Bring tikoy for dinner during the Chinese new year.
Or even dress polka dots for fortune.
And many more.
I don't see it bad anyways.
Why does Filipino believe so much in luck?
Do you see the Television series "Pepito Manaloto"? That the symbol of Filipinos why they want to be lucky. They want instant success.
Gambling yet they believe that one day they will catch the big fish. And later they will be gained the interest of their hard work.
If you think it's funny. No, because lots of unexpected millionaires and rich people come from gambling on Loto. So even the government legalizes this kind of activity.
Why does Filipino believe in different lucky charms?
Simple, in Philippines history native Filipino believes in " Agimat" and "Anting-anting". They are the lucky charms.
Some say using these charms will make you strong and be protected from sudden accidents or even gives you immortality. It's a gift from the Goddess whom they call Diwata.
Why Babies are Lucky Charms?
Baby is a symbol of an Angel, people believe that Angels from heaven look like a newborn child.
Also baby is a symbol of innocence. He doesn't know what happened in his environment, he doesn't even know that he's from your womb, but he loves you because you loved him so much.
During pregnancy, people believe that pregnant women are lucky. That she could have the high fortune and some business they giving discount in pregnant women so they could visit the shop often. They believed its a lucky charm.
One thing I observed from my mother is that when the newborn child visits your home she prepares something for the child.
She assumed that if she could give a little blessing the angel could return it. So she gets some cash and hands it over to the child.
Babies are natural to be the lucky ones.
One thing for sure, if others don't believe in superstitions. Then they might believe that the mother is the luckiest one, not the baby
If you had a baby your lucky for these reasons:
He/she loves you.
He/she is yours.
He/she is your happiness
And not everyone is blessed to have a baby
Baby has the power to conquer adult hearts. That's given lucky charm or not the baby is. The mothers will always be the luckiest and happiest living creator in the world.
Mothers Love will powerful than charms

Babies are Angels
In reality, not all babies are born naturally, some innocent child is unfortunate that they had to endure the bad luck. They don't know why the mother let them unborn, but for me they still lucky.
He's sleeping like an Angel now,
Peaceful and silent like how?
No one could disturb.
Now he just wants to observe.
Graveyard (Eunoia)
For my written poem, they are angels now. They have been flying in heaven and laughing with their co angels. Day and night they are happy, no worries, and no evil they could encounter.
Still, they are lucky ones. Because I also met some people who care too much about their child in the womb but destiny is player and they been trick. But if you be one of them, don't blame yourself. It's God's permission to choose them to be his angels in heaven and be sitting in his side.
All babies are lucky. No one created, unfortunately.

Anyway, babies are a blessings po talaga. Napakaswerte ng mga binibiyayaan ng mga anak tapos ipapalaglag lang? Samantalang yung mga gustong magkaanak hindi man lang mabiyayaan. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ Mahirap din kasi may mga taong nagpapalaglag ang ano nila tapos pag nabuntis, papatayin nila? Mga kabataan nga naman oo.
