To continue the story of yesterday, we got to the point where Angela and Harry got married. The result of their marriage was two sons. Two handsome boys who have gathered all the beauties of their parents. They were a very happy family, and everyone around them envied them. But it seemed that this joy didn't last so long.
When their eldest son was 24 years old and their youngest son was only 15 years old, Angela was constantly sick, she couldn't keep what she ate, she was taken to the doctor. After much research, the doctor found out that Angela had stomach cancer. And her cancer isn't in good condition. Harry and Angela couldn't believe it, because Angela wasn't even 49 years old, they were still in love and didn't want this happy family to fall apart. Harry spent all he had saved all these years on Angela's treatment, but it seemed that all these treatments were useless. They didn't even say anything to their sons for a while, and they didn't know about their mother's cancer, but when the boys saw that their mother was losing her hair, they gradually understood everything. All four were shocked, and unwilling to lose Angela. Unfortunately, 11 months after being diagnosed with cancer, Angela passed away in the arms of her eldest son.
With Angela's death, the family fell apart, Harry and his sons became severely depressed, and no one could do anything for their well-being. Harry worried about his sons, but he was too weak to do anything for his children.
One day, while Harry was walking alone in a park, he saw a crowd of people circling around two people. He was curious to see what was going on. He went ahead and saw two people playing chess behind a table, and the crowd was watching them with excitement. From the crowd, his eyes fell on a familiar person. Oh, he was right, he was his old friend, Noah, the same soldier boy, with the same thoughtful attitude. Like always, he sat indifferently to what was going on around him, immersed in his thoughts, and playing chess.
When Harry saw Noah, his eyes sparkled again, remembering the days gone by. He hadn't seen Noah since that time. He stood there waiting for their game to end. At the end of the game, Noah won, everyone shook hands with him, and dispersed. Noah, Indifferent to his surroundings, lit a cigarette, still staring at the chair in front of him, until a familiar voice drew him to himself. He looked to his left, it was Harry. His military friend, who now had the dust of old age and grief on his face, got up excitedly and hugged Harry. He said: "where did you go unfaithfully after all these years. You forgot about me after you married Angela. How is Angela?"
Harry frowned, saying, "I lost Angela, she passed away." Noah was shocked, what he heard was unbelievable. He hugged Harry tightly. Noah felt Harry's grief because he was fully aware of Harry's love for Angela. Harry told some of his children to Noah. Noah invited Harry and his sons to his house for tomorrow.
It was tomorrow, Harry told his sons that we wanted to go to my old friend's house for dinner tonight. His little son said, "I'm not coming anywhere, I want to stay home, but the older son agreed to accompany his father." They bought a box of sweets, and went to Noah's house. Noah, with a kind and smiling face, opened the door for them. Noah hugged Harry and his son and invited them into the house. Noah's wife and daughter were waiting for them inside the house. Harry's son dried as soon as he entered the house. He was immersed in watching Noah's daughter, and had lost all consciousness of his surroundings... Noah's daughter was named "Ellen". Yeah, I was that girl... 😉
