Last night, I published an article about My 5 Bitcoin Cash Goal For The Year 2021. While I am optimistic that I will be able to pull that goal off before the year ends, I have decided to make the existing Bitcoin Cash I have on my bitcoin.com wallet to work and help me make that goal into a reality.
That being said, today, after verifying my account in Celsius using my Passport, I sent 1 BCH to my Celsius wallet.
To those who don't know yet, Celsius is a crypto wallet, a platform where you can earn and borrow up to 30 different cryptocurrencies. This is just like the traditional banks we have in the Philippines like BPI, BDO, Landbank, etc. where we can put our savings and get interests in it. The Network will lend our coins, which will make us earn dividends.
If you don't have an account in Celsius Network yet, you can use this sign-up link or use my referral code 192965f204 when signing up and earn $20 in Bitcoin with your first transfer of $200 or more. After signing up, you have to complete your Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process and the available IDs to verify it are Passport and National ID, then you can deposit the $200 worth of crypto into the Celsius wallet address provided. You can also earn weekly interest depending on the type of crypto you are going to save or deposit in your wallet.
Initially, I planned to send all of the Bitcoin Cash I have accumulated from read.cash, which is around 1.35 BCH, since I joined this platform last September 6. However, if I do that, my bitcoin.com wallet would be too boring to check or look at because there will be nothing left there. This is why I only sent 1 BCH today, and to also check and plan how things will go from here.
My original plan in taking advantage of my idle crypto, which is our favorite coin- Bitcoin Cash, is to lend the BCH I earned from read.cash to Celsius, and lend the BCH I earned from noise.cash to Nexo. This is for me to be able to track how much have I already earned from both sites. However, after being disappointed in the huge fee in sending the BCH to Nexo, which is almost $1.00, I decided not to send it there anymore.
I also came to realize that if I have more capital to save or lend, I have a bigger interest to earn. So instead of sending the BCH that I earned from the 2 sites to 2 different lending wallets, I have decided to just combine all my BCH into Celsius wallet and manually track how much have I earned from both sites already. After all, my main goal is to save and earn 5 BCH at the end of the year.
So my new plan is to send a specific amount of BCH on Celsius every week that will come from read.cash and noise.cash, after getting the interest of the coin from the past week. However, I still have no target amount of BCH to send each week. I am thinking of sending 0.05 BCH per week, but I'll still see if that is feasible or not, or if I can make it higher.
I will also try to make an update every week or month about the progress of my goal and that is to make 5 BCH this 2021.
So if you also have a goal to save and earn BCH this year, I suggest you take advantage of your idle crypto by lending it to either Celsius, Nexo, or Blockfi.
Good luck with all of our BCH Goals! π₯³
