The Fruits of My Labor!
**I'm an achiever and was born to achieve great things in life, that is what I believe. In my 21 years of living, I know I've already accomplished some things that I am proud of and made my parents happy because of them.** But when this prompt started, I couldn't think of a reasonable answer and felt like I don't have any fruit yet from all of the sacrifices, efforts, and hard work I've been pouring out through these years. I've been constantly asking myself, "**What are the fruits of my labor?**"
And as I trace my life back from the day I already knew what hard work and labor mean to the days I've received the fruits that came along from exerting them, I think I've attained tangible and immaterial fruits over the years. **1. The Medals and Ribbons**
The medals and ribbons that are hanged and displayed in our living room are proof and fruits of my labor of being a good and competitive student from Elementary to High School. From being hit by a stick my mother uses whenever she teaches me how to read an English book back when I was still 6, to staying up all night just to finish the final requirements we needed to submit on our last day in Senior High School, these were just some of the things I've endured to receive a good amount of medals and ribbons during our Recognition Day, Moving Up Day, and Graduation Days. These ribbons and medals are also my reminders that I got to endure the early mornings just to attend school even if I was still sleepy, the bullies I received not just from my classmates and schoolmates, but also from the terror teachers, the tears I had to shed when I felt so ashamed because of the bully teachers who would insult me in class, and the never-ending projects, quizzes, exams, assignments, and requirements I needed to pass. Sure, these medals and ribbons somehow mean nothing to others, but I still consider them as fruits because the moment I got called up the stage to collect them, I saw the smiles of my parents beside me as they dangle them around my neck. I know I made them proud the moment they learned that their daughter did not just graduate, but graduated with flying colors. **2. The Chief Girl Scout Award**
This is a token that I've received way back year 2015 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) for accomplishing the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. The highest medal that is given to any Girl Scout after rendering a year for a given project to a community. To some, it is just a medal. For me, it means a lot. This medal is the most memorable, valuable, and treasured medal I have compared to the other medals I got since I was a kid, from Elementary to High School. I am keeping this medal because it is a symbolism of not just my efforts and sacrifices, but also the love and support of my relatives and other people who have contributed to my success, especially my parents. It is a reminder that no matter how hard the situation is, no matter how impossible things may seem, if you have the courage to finish one goal, you can achieve it. It reminds me to keep going in life, that no matter how tired I am, I should not give up because the people who are behind me and looking up to me, who are my parents, are more tired than I do. Through this medal, I can feel the unconditional love of my parents, and I should do everything I can to give them back the reward they also deserve. I have cried a lot from the beginning until the end of this project. I experienced a lot of rejections, trials, and difficulties at the age of 14 because of this project. It did not just bring me tears, but also blood and sweat came out from my parents. Many times did quitting came into my mind back then as if quitting to continue my journey on this Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme Project is the only solution. This project is the reason why **"If you feel like quitting, think about why you started"**, is my favorite quote up until today. It gave me so many lessons to learn. It made me braver, stronger, and wiser as a person. I can say that being a Chief Girl Scout Medalist is the biggest achievement I have had in my life thus far because it molded me into who I am today. And I will forever be grateful to all of the people who have given their share of support to me on this journey. These are the most remarkable fruits I have had back in my younger years that have contributed so much to the person I am now. And if not because of the sacrifices, efforts, hard work, and determination I had established to attain these fruits back then, I know wouldn't be able to achieve the greater fruits I want to harvest in the years to come. I'm still young and there's so much more that life has in store for me. And I will keep pushing myself to the limit, continue planting the seed of hope for a better tomorrow and maintain the good foundation I started building until I get to harvest all of the bountiful fruits I am bound to reap in the future. Cheers to enjoying the fruits of our labor! Related Article: **My Achievements In Life: I'm Still a Failure** https://read.cash/@Eirolfeam2/my-achievements-in-life-im-still-a-failure-3c565395

Oo din. Hahaha! Lols! 🤣 Buti nga meron pang Best in eh. Hahaha
Galing naman ni Atengggg. Yieee. Kaya ayun.
Ilabas na yan at idisplay. Hahaha! 🤣 Totoo. Sila talaga ung unang teachers natin eh.
Indeed, you are an achiever.. Glaing naman this kid before. hehe.

Oh wow so many medals... that's amazing and only few people have that drive.. nice to meet you hon, am new here :)
Thank you. Hihi Nice to meet you too and welcome here. 😹
I love to see your medals. Para sa iba wala lang siya but the hardwork behind it is priceless. This college sobrang hirap na makakuha ng medals, kaya't thankful ako na atleast may na received ako before.
So trueee.
Often times we tend not to see the rewards of our sacrifice and hard work mostly because they do not come in ways we had hope for but in totally different ways. And I most cases it usually takes time for them to manifest. But no matter how long it takes your reward is sure just never give up.
I feel you,not bragging a chair but I also have a lot of medals and trophy gain form achieving something good. I was able to get those because of my hardworks and dedication. Seeing those medals doesn't show you the achievement but the effort you out to get those. Fighting!!! Continue obtaining more
Yayy. That's great to hear. 😹

Totoo. Worth it lahat ng effort eh. Hahaha! Baka itinago lang sa baul. Lols 🤣
'If you feel like quitting, think about why you started', this is also one of my favorite sayings. Life is not easy. Every time I am giving up, I always end up thinking about the reason why I started, my family. Those medals help in molding the person you are right now. I am sure your parents are more than proud of what you have become.
Indeed. You always have to go back to the question, "Why?" Hihi I hope so po. 😹
this is nice..I was once an achiever yet now I forget how it feels.
Awww. You need some refreshment. 😹
Congrats! Hindi ko alam ko me na achieve ako sa buhay pero check ko nga para me maisulat ako. Haha. And hindi ka lang achiever, you were born to inspire more. Keep soaring high para marami pang mainspire sayo. ☺️🤗
Awww. Hihi! True po. Lahat naman tayo may naachieve na. 😹
Wow! Congratulations on all of your achievements. I was also an achiever before, it's really a wonderful feeling to get an award after doing all the hard work. I always have this line, "if you feel like quitting, think about how you started" 😊 This helped me a lot unlocking some of my achievements.
Thank you. And congrats to your achievements too. Indeed, that's a very motivating quote. 😹
