How Much Have I Spent In My Piggery Business So Far?
The other day, when I published my article titled "**Don't Settle With a Single Source of Income**", one user (**@Expelliarmus30**) commented and asked about how my piggies are doing since he knows that I am raising piglets. https://read.cash/@Eirolfeam2/dont-settle-with-a-single-source-of-income-f5f56808 And because today is the third day of the month, which means that it's been exactly one month since I bought the new set of piglets that I intend to raise and grow, I decided to share an update about the Piggery Business that I'm trying to put up. So in this article, just like what the title indicates, I'm going to share **how much have I spent in my Piggery Business so far**. It's not a secret that I want to start up and manage a Piggery Business since I have been writing about this business venture and idea for months already, which started last January when I bought a piglet that my mother was selling me. And just about a month ago, I shared that **I've Got 16 Piglets to Feed** already. https://read.cash/@Eirolfeam2/ive-got-16-piglets-to-feed-d58074e7 Since I want to be hands-on in managing the financial aspect of this business, I have been tracking the money that I get to spend on everything, from buying the piglets to the feeds they eat and the medicines provided to them. I do this to know if the business is really profitable or not, especially when the time comes that it's time to harvest them already. So here are my total expenses so far and I know there will be more to come that's why I need to keep hustling for them. **16 Piglets= P75,500.00 ($1,510)** I got to buy the first **9 piglets** last **April 12, 2022**, for **4,500 pesos** each, or a total of **40,500 pesos** for all of them. They'll be turning **2 months** old in 9 days since we got to buy them and I'm satisfied with how big they are already and that's all thanks to my mom who is also hands-on in raising them like her own children. The second set of piglets that I bought last **May 03, 2022**, cost me **5,000 pesos** each so I spent a total of **35,000 pesos** for the **7 piglets**. And it's their first month today. **Feeds= P22,100.00 ($442)** When your piggies get to have more funds for their food than you. For the **pre-starter feeds**, I bought **15 kilos** for **700 pesos**, which my mother fed the piglets on their first day in their new home. Meanwhile, I have already bought a total of **10 sacks** of **Starter Feeds**, which amounts to **19,400 pesos**, and **1 sack** of **Grower Feeds** worth **2,000 pesos**. My mom is feeding the piglets pure feeds at the moment since it is not yet advisable to feed them cooked giant taro as it may slow their growth. Perhaps, when they're already in their third month, we'll start to feed them giant taro to lessen their food expenses. **Utility= P1,500.00 ($30)** We had water installed on the pig farm since there is no water source in the area and I got to spend **1,200 pesos** on the water installation fee and additional **300 pesos** for the hose that was used. My uncle proposed that he's selling the pig farm to us (where our piglets are located since we're just borrowing the empty pens for now) and I thought it's a good idea since we'll get to use the other empty pens too. But I have to know the price first before I decide to buy it. **Medicine= P550.00 ($11)** We got the first set of piglets dewormed last month and the other piglet vaccinated since he got sick and it cost me **250 pesos**, while my mama also bought medicine for the other piglet because it has skin rashes and we have no idea how he got it, and it cost around **300 pesos**. **Labor= P1,000.00 ($20)** I was supposed to give my mama 3,000 pesos every month for taking care of the piglets but I'm short of funds for it already and she somehow understands so I'll just pay for her labor fee once we get to sell the pigs already. As of now, I've only given her **1,000 pesos** so I'm behind by 5,000 pesos already but I'll just double the fee for as long as the returns will be favorable to me. In total, I have already spent **100,650 pesos** on all of these expenses, and I know the number will go up even more in the following weeks since the piglets are already big and get to eat a lot. This is one of the reasons why I need to not just double or triple my efforts in grinding but make it 16 times if possible. The funds that I spent on this venture came from my Daily Savings, Cebu Trip Savings, and Travel Fund, and **Bitcoin Cash** was a huge part of this because some of my earnings were converted before for these different savings. As always, I'm grateful for BCH because, without it, this business venture won't be possible. So time to hustle more now!

Ibig sabihin yong 2000$ e bukod pa? π Naku at least may piggery business ka at sobrang mababawi mo yong nawala. Yong Cebu savings mo at Travel Funds e from schoolarship mo ba yon? Got another article idea.
Wow still congratulations to you! Not everyone is brave to start a piggery business. Good thing you have a place to put those piggies. For sure they are away from neighbors because they are supposedly smelly hehehe. So san nyo ibebenta pag malalaki na?
Yeah, the farm is far from the houses. Hahaha! Sa mga bumibili po? Lols!
Hwaw. Yun ang maganda, supplier ng litsunan. Nice. π
That is a lot of money wow.. but am glad you have something going on.. And your Momma is too kind. Thanks to BCH indeed for all the possibilities it created for us
Yeah, I'm so thankful to my mom. Haha! Really, BCH has helped us in so many ways already. πΉ
Amazing, never thought raising piglets can earn you such lots of money. But it seems raising them is also as hard.
Yeah, it takes a lot of work to raise them. π
It is amazing to see the breakdown of your expenses. I always love seeing and learning from people like you who shares not just the success but also the process of getting there. Thank u!!!
Aww. Thanks for reading. πΉ
Im a "she" po hehehe pero okay lang po yun. I know in the future yung gastos nyo po sa mga pigs na yan ay dodoble at sana kapag tumagal ay mas lalo pa pong dumami yung mga pigs nyo para mas malaking income talaga po yung pumasok sa inyo.
Ay. Sorry. Akala ko lalaki ka. Hahaha! π€§ Sana nga. Claiming it na. π
The business must be profitable over there that's why you invest some much in it.
Yeah, I hope it will work in my favor tho. π
Hoping that you will gain a big profit from your piggery business because you already spent a big amount of money as well as time and effort from you and your family in taking care in the pigs you were raising. It was a big possibility that you will earn your expenses back and earn much profit as possible because the price of Pig meat was still high and continues to go up these past few months.
I hope so too. πΉ
Woahhh expensive talaga sis pag may piggery excluding pa diyan yung effort but in the end it's gonna be worth it
Yeah, I'm claiming it will be worth it and become successful. Ehe!
Good luck sis! Piggery is a good business. Just keep an eye dapat healthy lagi ang mga biik. I also heard this from a piggery owner, dapat daw wag nating hayaang palu-paluin ng buyer ang kasi bumababa ang timbang.
Oh my!
Hahaha!
Haha. Meron kami 9 piglets lang, 3500 each.
