2+ BCH for Busting Myths

About 4 months ago, last October 2021, SofiaCBCH organized the "Myth Busting 2021 World Challenge" event here on read.cash, where anyone is encouraged to join the contest and choose any of the Myths surrounding Bitcoin and the crypto-verse in general, and bust them either by writing an article, making a video, poster, and slogan, or provide sets of related articles and pieces of evidence to validate their point and stand.

I learned about this contest when I first joined the same event that was conducted last 2020 and it was also organized by Sofia. In fact, my entry article "Bitcoin and Everything Related to it is a scam" was able to rank as the 4th placer in the Myth Busting Contest last 2020. Sadly, even if my entry ranked 4th, I didn't win any reward as the Top 3 entries were only awarded with BCH. But the good thing is there was an airdrop given to Myth Hunter SLP Token holders, so I still got to earn something for my entry.

So when I learned that the Myth Hunter Contest for 2021 started, I immediately scanned the available myths provided and choose what myth should I bust and talk about. There was no limit to the number of entries one can make so I thought I should make multiple entries for it for more chances of winning. Lols!

My first entry article was "Bitcoin Cash is a Shitcoin!" which received the most number of votes out of all my entries. It garnered a total of 551 Myth Hunter 2021 votes that came from the elves, or those who donated Bitcoin Cash for the prizes.

My second entry article was "Chivo Wallet is Better than Bitcoin.com Wallet!" and it only earned 16 Myth Hunter votes from the elves. I'm not that disappointed about it because I feel like my article was low quality anyway so I didn't mind having low votes for it.

My third entry article was "Cryptocurrencies are Used for Illegal Activities" which has the second most number of votes among my entries with 180 Myth Hunter votes.

And my fourth and last entry article was "You Can't Buy Anything with Bitcoin" with 114 Myth Hunter votes.

The deadline of submission for the Myth Hunter Contest was postponed thrice if I'm not mistaken, but I didn't make additional entries anymore since I also don't have any topic to write on. I was already satisfied with having 4 entries and I wasn't aiming for any place, but of course, I was also hoping to win.

Last January, after the elves finished sending out their votes to the entries, Sofia updated the Ranking list and announced the winners for the contest. And I'm so happy and grateful that my entry article "Bitcoin Cash is a Shitcoin!" won as the 3rd placer. Because of this, I was awarded with 2 Bitcoin Cash for it.

And last February 16 in the morning, I already received my prize of 2 BCH for the Myth Hunter Contest 2021. I also received an additional 0.093 BCH from the BCH airdrop for all of the Myth Hunters 2021 SLP Token holders. In total, I was able to earn 2.093 Bitcoin Cash for busting those crypto Myths.

I know my entry articles, especially my winning piece, wasn't the best, and it's not even good enough for those who have such high standards of how a good article should be. And to be honest, I wasn't really expecting to win a place, since there were a lot of good, if not the best, writers on this platform who joined the Myth Busting contest too.

Perhaps, my only advantage was that I created and submitted my entry earlier than them that my entry was one of the first entries that captured the attention of the elves who have the power to vote.

Anyway, congratulations to all of the Myth Buster 2021 Contest winners and to all the participants who also joined the event. I'm sure there will be another Myth Busting contest this year so let's start getting ready for it. Ehe!

I just really feel so grateful for this contest because just when I was having a problem with my finances, here comes Bitcoin Cash to the rescue!
