Help her to Win this Battle.

I have not been so good when it comes to seeking help or helping others in doing the same but last night changed it all for me. I could not sleep because my heart was so heavy with sorrow unimaginable pain that was drawn out of concern for human life and an innocent child. Have you had the opportunity to see anyone whose body or part of the body got burnt either by fire or hot water? If you have seen or witnessed such a scenario, you will agree with me that the pain these patients feel can never be imagined unless you subject yourself to the same level of burn. I am so sorry to be doing this on this platform but I feel we are here to help each other directly or indirectly.

One of the female American singers that I love so much who goes by the name Alicia Keys sang a song titled We are Here and since last night, the song has been echoing in my head. One thing I have noticed in life is that most times we tend to forget the major reason why we are in this world. If you go through the verses of this great song for humanity, you will see that we have failed in so many ways to do that which we were called for. I would not go too deep in talking about the song but just click on the video below and listen to a great gospel.

Can you read those words again just to allow them to sink into your soul? I must say that we are all here for ourselves and we must try as much as possible to do whatever we can at all times to lend a helping hand. One of the things that have endeared this platform to a lot of people is the love behind its creation. I believe whoever or the people behind this platform created it because they wanted to give back to society by creating an opportunity where people can earn a living by interacting with others through their posts and comments. Now, if this is what it is, then I don’t think I am in the wrong family.

I received a WhatsApp chat from my friend back then in the university and the chat got me so disturbed because it was a matter of life and death, more so it concerns a little girl. I could think of any other thing not even to continue what I was doing at that moment. Below was what he sent to me…

I looked at myself and I began to imagine, what if I am the one in this little girls condition? Would I still be able to do my daily activities? Of course, the answer is a very big NO, because the level of pain that girl feels every second of her life can never be imagined. I had to make a WhatsApp post instantly asking my friends to donate whatever they can for the sake of this little girl because that was the major issue. When I called my friend later that night around 11 pm, he told me that they have been referred to another hospital but they are unable to leave because they have not cleared their bills yet. I began to imagine the type of medical system we have in Nigeria because I could not believe that a doctor will be so mean not to allow a patient whom he has referred to another hospital to leave just because of outstanding bills. This girl’s condition is very critical yet the hospital authority is more focused on money than saving the life of this little one.

I feel so pained because the little I have done could not do more for them and that is why I have come to this platform to seek your help. I know that this is a very hard time for crypto traders but your one $cent can go a long way to save the life of this little girl. This is not the time to start apportioning blame or trying to blame the parents for being careless. We can do that later when we have saved a life. Please great friends, I have come again just like Oliver Twist to seek your support for this little girl to be saved. At the moment I was able to raise about $60 with the help of some friends and I was told that they owe the hospital $145 which is why they have not been allowed to go to the other hospital where they were referred to. I intend to send whatever proceeds that come from this post to them to add to what I have sent already. Please treat this post as important as anything you hold dear because life is involved and just like Alicia Key will say; “We are Here for all of Us”.

I believe the little girl will not be able to pay any of us back but I know that the God you worship will never leave you unrewarded.
