Who supports Bitcoin ABC?

You're not going to find any of these people signing some lame joint statement pledging allegiance to Bitcoin ABC. So I decided to put together a list of my own. This is off the top of my head so apologies to anyone I may have missed. See for yourself the caliber of people ABC has on their side.

Shammah Chancellor - Founder and CTO of Stamp

Vin Armani - CTO of Cointext.io

Tobias Ruck - Founder and CEO of Be.cash

Joannes Vermorel - Founder and CEO of Lokad

Tendo Pein - creator of the Spedn smart contract language for BCH

Hayden Otto - CEO of BitcoinBCH.com and organizer of the Bitcoin Cash City Conference

Mike Malley - Founder of Coinspice

Tyler Smith - Creator of the Snowglobe protocol

Chris Troutner - Founder of Fullstack.cash and developer with Permissionless Software Foundation

C. Edward Kelso - Founder and CEO of Coinfugazi and former Editor in Chief of Coinspice

And of course you also have the core members of Bitcoin ABC itself: Amaury Sechet, Jason Cox, and Antony Zegers.

So you're telling me all of these people are either corrupt or stupid? That they don't have the best interest of BCH in mind? That they aren't passionate about spreading the ideas of economic freedom and peer-to-peer electronic cash?

You're crazy.

(I’ve also had some other prominent members of this community tell me in private that they support what ABC is doing.)

That's literally 10 contributors that support ABC's vision. Are you saying that all the rest are stupid?

Here are well over 50 companies and individuals that are against; https://read.cash/@sha256_88ebd526/bitcoin-cash-bch-november-2020-upgrade-statement-f7c03159

Here is another pretty big one, it alone has more employees than your entire list: https://read.cash/@Bitcoin.com/to-our-customers-regarding-the-bitcoin-cash-network-upgrade-in-november-47879f0f

Here is BU: https://read.cash/@AndrewStone/bch-looking-back-and-moving-forward-a703cbcc which itself is, again more than 10 people.

Here a bunch of miner, combined companies having probably a multitide of your list of people: https://read.cash/@asicseer/joint-statement-from-bch-miners-regarding-bitcoin-abc-and-the-november-2020-bch-upgrade-2cbdc38d

So while its nice to have 10 people that are not against, we have a many fold of people that have signed documents stating they are against. And there are a LOT of people that also share the feeling of being against while not explicitly signing statements to that case.

Your ABC buddies are vastly outnumbered, dude.

thanks for the article; been looking for a complete list of IFP supporters

1/3 on that list i would consider top notch individuals, so it does go to show that we can differ in opinion and still work productively with one another..

another 1/3 I don't know so won't comment..

and the final 1/3 are utterly ridiculous characters that consistently spew nonsense and i find it shocking that you'd include them for the purpose of building "credibility"

BCH and SLP will be the winners, not names on a list. People come and people go. Some people ask questions and others follow the "leaders". In the end there will be BCH and SLP and a number of good projects with people working to build p2p digital cash for the world. I, for one, am looking forward to the next stages of Bitcoin Cash development.

I'm not a prominent member but I also support the ABC's efforts and vision.

Most people should support ABC as a back-up chain in case BCHN turns out to be an infiltration attack out to destroy BCH. Slim chance, but, I think switching to the troll-army's fork without a back-up is super risky. Or, I guess we can all switch to Mr Ver's other investment (DASH) if needed?

Literally 90% of cryptos get by without stealing from the coinbase.

Even Litecoin implements Mimblewimble.

ABC is a market failure and Amaury shouldn’t be leading this coin any longer. In November BCH will split and BCH-ABC will be dumped for BCH-N.

Any code developed on ABC will be ported over for free by BCH-N.

We’ve seen how this goes with zcash, Decred, zcoin, Dash.

People don’t want a taxed crypto. It introduces corruption and politics which is what Bitcoin was trying to get away from in the first place.

Duh!

Zcash is able to fix critical bugs before they're discovered because they have a team of paid developers working whenever needed. They deliver regular improvements to the protocol, where many others just port over their changes because they can't do the same. There are many who still mine and profit from Zcash and are fine with contributing to protocol devleopment and infrastructure support.

Can a small team of developers without the experience ABC has, without any real funding outside of donations from a few whales, be able to do the same? Will they be on call 24/7 and have the support of knowledgable developers to deal with critical issues? Or will they just port over any real improvements that ABC makes? Or will they be the ones introducing the critical bugs?

Hayden Otto said that he will support the coin that gets the ticker BCH. It doesn't have to be ABC.

Maybe it's only my impression, but you could easily list more stake holders in favor of BCHN.
