How to Love a Man

For today's article, I am sharing a simple yet effective ways on how to love a man. This is not just for those women out there who are already taken, of course this will serve as a preparation to all single ladies on how to love and cherish their future husbands/boyfriends.

Yesterday morning, while scrolling down in my Facebook newsfeed I came across with a post that was shared by my college classmate. It somehow piqued my interest and I was enlightened by the message which is about "How to love a Man". I don't know if you saw it too, but I will just reecho what I have seen on that post.

How to love a man...

I've been in a relationship for almost six years, and I am beyond grateful to have a man that truly loves me for who I am. He is rare to find that's why I am head over heels for him. However, he is not perfect and so am I, because I believe perfection is impossible for us human beings. What makes me even more grateful is that all throughout our relationship we realized a lot of things that help us grow altogether.

So much for that, here are the ways on how to show affection (love) to your man.

• FREEDOM

He deserves to be given freedom. Give him the chance to express his own feelings towards your relationship. Let him choose his own path and do not put him in a narrow box. Give him the freedom to do the things that he likes and support him instead (except the bad habits). The fact is, if he truly loves or cares about you, he will do the initiative to resist the things that will hurt you. Let him breath for the reason that he has a life to live so don't take that away from him. "YOU ARE NOT HIS WORLD, YOU ARE JUST PART OF IT". Remember that.

• RECIPROCATE

Your man needs efforts from you too. Make him feel that he is important and do not forget to give him updates, because we can't deny the fact that our men sometimes get bossy whenever we have some errands to run alone. Just try to understand them because men have different ways on how to show concerns to their queens (yay). Aside from that, be patient for them too and refrain from triggering petty arguments for the reason that men has it's own limit, just chill and relax weeeh. (kaya girls wah masyadong maginarte at palaging tinotoyo nakakasawa rin kasi minsan hahaha). Seriously, just ask him how his day went or what went wrong since men are not that showy when they have problems.

• UNDERSTAND

As I've said men needs understanding. He may not be perfect and will never be, and some point they tend to be inconsistent, impatient, and even lose control when they ran out of ways on how to handle your mood swings. They get angry too just like us. However, with just a little tenderness we can quickly dispel their anger and resentment.

• ATTENTION

Just like you, he needs some attention too. Make time for him, plan a vacation or even a simple date will do. Rest assured that he can trust you as well that he is the only one you love. Avoid doing such things that will make him doubt, well men tend to be possessive too.

• RESPECT

Men are known to be tough, but it doesn't mean that they don't have feelings. That is why we must be more sensitive in both words and actions. We ladies used to demand respect from them but let's bear in mind that men needs respect as well. One of the best way to show our respect to them is through giving them the opportunity to decide on their own and respect their beliefs and perceptions in life.

Author's Viewpoint;

Generally, both men and women must apply those above-mentioned words in order to build a better relationship with each other. Keep in mind that all couples must not fall under the pit of "PRIDE", the ultimate ruiner of any relationship. Last but never the least, the most effective way to have a healthy and long-lasting relationship is when the both of you loves Jesus more than you love each other.
