Don't Cheat, Just Leave

My family and I had a picnic on the beach earlier this morning. We enjoyed a lot while munching some goodies, and we dive in into the sea afterwards. The ocean was so calm and clear which is safe for the little kids who wants to swim and play in the water.

Don't Cheat, Just Leave

It's easier said than done. That was my first impression with those phrases above. Cheating is not an option nor a mere mistake, IT'S A CHOICE.

Earlier this morning, while scrolling down in my Facebook newsfeed, I saw a lot of posts about Moira and Jason's break up issue after three years of marriage.

Just a short background...

Moira is one of the best OPM singer- songwriter in the Philippines. She rose to fame for her serene and angelic voice. She is also popular with her heart wrenching songs about love. Indeed she is a magnificent singer.

Way back 2019 she was married with his non-showbiz boyfriend whom was her best friend as well named Jason. Their Fairytale-like wedding went viral, because Moira was singing a Christian song while walking down the aisle. Everyone was touched with it and she earned a lot of support, greetings, and appreciations from her fans.

However, that happily-ever-after moment didn't last. In a Facebook post Tuesday, Jason broke the news with a statement from the both of them.

“It is with a heavy heart that after [three] years of marriage, we announce that we are parting ways. Our love and respect for each other remains. We request for privacy during this difficult time,”.

As an avid fan of Moira, I can't help myself getting anxious and feel bad for her. She is kind and a genuine being who don't deserve such pain and betrayal.

I may not know the real situation behind their splitting issue, but the pain from being cheated by the man you trust and love the most is hard to bear. This painful moment of Moira might be her greatest nightmare. I hope she is fine and filled with comfort and support from her family and friends. You deserve better my Queen, God has a bigger plans for you, and I am pretty sure everything happens for a reason. Worry no more, because there's always a rainbow after a rain. Cheer up my idol.

After Jason and Moira's break up, I've realized that some men really have the same skin. That no matter how they are in love with their partners and how happy they are in their relationship, they would still search for another menu to devour. They would still find someone who's new and fresh on their tastebud. And that thought is heartbreaking. People who cheat with their partners really deserve a spot in h3ll! You have no idea how damage you have caused with your partner, dude! Because this is not just about you cheating! This is about your partner and how she slowly lost her self-confidence, how she questioned her worth during nights and worst, how she lost herself in the process. So please, if you no longer love the person, don't cheat. JUST LEAVE!

That is why a human's heart is placed inside the chest because it is a treasure and it should be handled with care and love!

I read this shared post from Ken on Facebook, and his words hit me so hard. I can't help myself from imagining that If I were in Moira's shoes right now, I will be drowning in pain and self pity for sure. Our heart is fragile when it comes to one's we hold dear. And if when our trust was broken, fixing it is an impossible thing to do. Forgiveness may be given but the damage can't be erase in one's mind most especially when the heart is greatly affected.

So Please, if you don't love your partner anymore and there's no reason for you stay, please don't use cheating as your option in order to escape from your broken relationship. Tell the truth even if it hurts him/her that much rather than make him/her look like a fool while you are still in a relationship with him/her.
