A Letter for my Boyfriend

Yesterday afternoon, my boyfriend paid me a visit, he look upset and weary (kahit lagi naman talaga syang ganyan lol). He just took a seat and made a deep sigh, I thought he was exhausted, preoccupied or whatsoever, but when I look into his eyes a deep sorrow totally bothers me so I sat down beside him and asked what was wrong, he just grin at me while saying I'll be fine not now but soon and then took his phone and started to play some online games. That was unusual for me tho. I didn't make a fuss anymore and just let him be instead.

A few moments later, he pat my head all of a sudden and said thank you out of nowhere, I find it sweet and confusing too, so I immediately asked him why? And his response touches my heart and made me nearly cry.

I am just a nobody, why did you chose me?

So here's my response

To my ever beloved Macky,

You don't have to say those nonsense words. First and foremost, I didn't chose you of what you have, I chose you because I chose to. You mean the world to me, you are the proof that prayers do come true. I told God everything about you and He became the first one I have ever told my secrets. Indeed, He heard me saying "Lord, I fell inlove with that man (You), If this is not your will kindly take away all of these feeling I have for him? And if not can I have him?" You may find it hard to believe but I really mean it! And VOILA! God gave me you finally.

We've been through a lot and we conquered those obstacles together but I am certain that there are still a lot of trials to test our relationship along the way. There might be plenty of men out there who looks more better than you, yet bear in mind that no one can ever replaced you in my heart. You may have shortcomings, and imperfections but it doesn't affect my love for you. You may be annoying, childish, foolish, corny, and short-tempered sometimes but you never missed out to put a smile on my face. Whenever you caught me frowning and pouting you tend to show me your embarrassing and disappointing dance moves just to lighten up my mood, and indeed you got me there😊.

My love, even if we don't celebrate such special occasions that couples normally do (weeksary, monthsary, anniversary), yet each day is special to me already as long as I have you is worth celebrating. As I look back from the beginning, My prayer includes that hopefully you are the missing piece that God predestined to truly complete me. Langga (Love/Mahal), you have filled my life with so much colours. Sometimes when I drawn my eyes to you I think to myself "How lucky could I possibly be, to have him". Just so you know, I didn't say this to flatter you, but I say this to let you know that your love is far more greater than anything in this world.

You are more than enough, and be mindful that you are not just my beloved boyfriend but you are my BESTFRIEND, PERSONAL CLOWN, MOTIVATOR, A FATHER FIGURE, AND MY BABY🤗.

NOW, HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT YOU ARE A NOBODY?! 😏.
