The world of Politics

Does anyone here, or a family members enter the world of politics? How can you describe the politics here in our country? How's your experience to be in such world? Did you enjoy your position? Did you gain wieght or wealth? Or Did you gain pure heartaches:)

One of my siblings enter the world of politics wayback 2000 something, (can't remember the exact year) hihi. He was invited by some parties to run for SK chairman, but me as His Ate(older sister) amd breed winner of the family, I disagree coz I know that running for some positions in politics needed some funds, which we dont have but the party that invites him said only ₱200($4)pesos is needed, coz all he needs to do is magpapicture then it will be edited and ipapaxerox na lng. So even I bet to disagree he still continue to run.

And to make the story short, yes He won, so the oath taking and other celebrations happened. Then His priveledge was handed to him, the scholarships, the salary as SK chairman and other priveledges. But since his candidacy was because of some people, so he was manipulated by them, especially when it comes to the budget alloted for Him. Like for instance the computer sets and furniture for his office, when they show him the room the he will be using as his office, the computer sets and sofa sets was already there, they already bought it without consulting him, grabedad diba, supposedly by brother should be the one to buy his stuff so he can choose the designs and save a little coz the money/budget was for him not for them. But they do it on thier own.

Looks how dirty it was already right after he seated as SK Chairman, and there are many more right during summer where there is Paliga(palaro sa mga barangay like basketball and volleyball)there is a budget for the Jersey uniform to be used by the players and since my brother was a silent person and doesn't want argument he let the people around him decide when and where to order the jersey uniform. These are only few with how the politics run when my brother was seated as SK chairman.

Then after his term, he was invited again to run for barangay kagawad and the problem starts, because there is another party that invites him and he decided to transfer to that political party and the other party where he belongs before got angry with him, they starts to make an issue about him, the issue was about money, they said that my brother stole money from his budget amounting to ₱100k, which is not really true, coz eversince he seated as SK Chairman, he never hold any budget money alloted for him,even his salary was always delayed, his salary is about ₱8000 and part of it will be given to his SK kagawad most he had only ₱4000 as his salary, and mostly his budget is always delayed and he always texted me that he will borrow from me and pay me when his budget for that event come,so how come he could stole that money.

But he still run for Barangay Kagawad and he did not make it, and I feel happy even he is a loser, coz finally he will have a silent life with us. But the issues are still roaming around, but we just ignore it. Then after that political experience and issues, he decided to work abroad so the people who accused him have also a peace of mind.

Imagine how cruel to be in politics, just because you change your political party, accusations are keep throwing at you because they knew that you can make it without them and they can't manipulate you at all.

I don't know why there are people who is really eager running after politics, where you can choose to be a citizen and can have a peaceful life with your loved ones.

So my pieces of advice if you want to enter into politics, be sure that you have a strong personality, matibay na sikmura with all the harsh words that maybe thrown at you, be sure that you can depend yourself and be sure that your political advisers can't manipulate you, or else you will look like there puppet,or robot who is on thier control in everything.
