Eye for an eye, but the world goes blind.

The story of moral justice mixed with vengeance is a very common one. However, we never seem to learn from it. The only thing that seems to expand with time is the scope of vengeance and the price of justice.

You may learn from the news that revenge is a dish best served cold. But, here’s something you may not have heard about it. Revenge is also a dish best served impersonally.

People are often very personal in their suffering and victimhood. It’s easy to get caught up in this cycle of emotions and it can take years before you realize that you’re hurting yourself more than the person who hurt you.

Sometimes, we have to wait to get even. The presence of justice should not be personal.  It must be impersonal, to ensure impartiality and fairness.

"What goes around, comes around". It is a universal fact.

I define karma as positive intentions and actions generate good karma, bad intentions and actions generate bad karma.

The law of karma

The law of karma is one of the most powerful laws in the universe. It is a universal law that governs every aspect of life. Everything that happens to us is a result of our own thoughts, words and actions. The law of karma works like a mirror that reflects back to us what we have sown through our thoughts, words and actions.

You sow the seed, you get the fruit. If you are putting out negative vibes into the universe you cannot expect positive things to come your way. The universe requires payment for what you put out, hence the reason why you see people who seem to be having bad luck in life.

This law also works in your favour if you are putting out positive vibes into the universe. I see people who live happy lives and they don’t seem to be affected by the challenges in life because they are constantly putting out positive vibes and creating positive things for themselves.

This law of karma refers to the law of cause and effect. When you were born, you were born with a debt, which you must repay to the universe. When you repay this debt, you will be free from it for eternity.

Karma is a powerful concept found in the spiritual and metaphysical teachings of Hinduism. The word karma literally means "action" in Sanskrit. Karma is considered to be the sum of a person's actions, and the theory behind karma states that your past actions directly affect your present circumstances and future experiences.

In this context, it would seem that the law of karma is similar to the notion of cause and effect. However, there is an important distinction between karma and the Western concept of cause and effect. Karma works without fail because it is part of the fabric of the universe. Western philosophers have found it difficult to place their faith in a system that runs without any apparent human intervention or control.

The law of karma, like so many other Eastern concepts, is based on an Eastern worldview that differs from that of Western philosophy and science. In Eastern thought, karma is not seen as an impersonal mechanical process.

The law of karma is the concept of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual influence the future of that individual.

Good intent and good deed contributes to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contributes to bad karma and future suffering.

In Hinduism, karma is the result of all past actions; it determines one's present life, as well as the nature and quality of future lives.

The idea is also found in Buddhism (where it is sometimes referred to as "kamma"), Jainism, Sikhism and Taoism, although the theory behind karma is different in these belief systems

(Learnt those from an history teacher while I was in college).

When we speak about karma, there are many factors that determine our future: what we say, what we do, how we think and how we feel. Every action has an effect on your own life as well as on others’ lives.

Closing thought;

A lot of people go around saying that if you do something bad, it's OK to be punished by bad things happening to you. This is called karma. But you know what? Karma isn't real. It's just your way of sugarcoating the idea of revenge.

If you're a victim, you have every right to get revenge. If you're an aggressor, you deserve the same treatment. The world will never change if we don't admit there is evil in us all.

But what is the essence of revenge? An eye for an eye, then the world will go blind. Let us all have the spirit of forgiveness.

I have come to realize that life can be difficult sometimes, but if you remain persistent and patient, you will be rewarded in the end.

Revenge wouldn't make us feel better but worse, and will create a thread of hatred. Forgiveness is key to living a good life.

Revenge is not really ours. Eye for an eye. There is no love at all. Let's learn to forgive. Things will become worst if people will.be controlled by their pride. Happy morning 🌄

In short you must, prepare for the consequences on your action. Because in every action there is an equal reaction. So better do good things and in the future you reap good things.

I'm not a supporter of revenge, i believe in forgiveness. We just need to forgive, and put revenge aside. If God could forgive us who are we not to forgive.
