Nature date and binge watching
I have read a lot of Valentine's Day stories and a most have received gifts from their special someone. I may have read one or two or maybe three or maybe more that they spent their days with friends or alone, just like me.
Me and my partner don't celebrate this day. We give gifts whenever we wanted to without having to wait for a certain day. We make our every day special in any way we can. You should too. Show it your words and actions and not just through gifts.
Anyway, my partner is not here for together with some colleagues they are down in the big city taking their exams related to work. Because of their busyness, they event forgot it's Valentine's Day. We just had a quick video call to greet each other and say hi. I don't like to take much of their time for I know they need to be focused.
As for me, I went out for my usual morning sunrise date. I was hoping that by doing walking exercises that the pain in my left buttock will be relieved. There are certain movements that I do where a shooting pain will be left and then passes. I don't know any extraneous activity that I did that would have caused this pain. However, when I try to do the same maneuver that caused the pain, I don't feel any. It would come so sudden that takes my breath away.
The pain is not limiting. I can do my activities just fine. I have been having this pain for weeks now close to a month. I was thinking maybe a nerve pinch or something. I hope it will be gone soon.
I was thinking maybe it was from sitting for long periods. That's why I have to get up every so often now and take lots of breaks. You really should be taking care of yourself properly especially the younger ones. Don't abuse yourself for you will suffer the consequences later on in life.
Anyway, I have been watching this series from 10 years ago called Person of Interest. I saw a clip of it online and I thought it was a current one only to realize it's an old series.
Jim Caviezel plays a great role in this one along with his costars. It's about a guy who developed a system to check for threats. This system came into fruition after the 9/11 attack. The system will watch for your every move, every email, every call and determine if you are a threat or not or whether something bad is going to happen to you. So you either be a victim or the perpetrator. The system will give out a social security number and John (Jim) and his partner will determine whether the person who has that number assigned to is the target or the one who will cause trouble.
There are five seasons which aired from 2011 to 2016 and I'm still on season 1. I will continue watching until I get bored but so far, I like every episode. It's interesting to see how they catch the bad guys. There are things that I would have thought would be done easily but considering it was 10 years ago, then surely the technology is not as sophisticated then as it is now. A lot has happened in a span of 10 years.
Anyway, today is payday for some that's why online shopping apps and sites are doing payday sales. After yesterday's Valentine's sale, here comes another one. They do know how entice people to spend and consume.
I checked my Shopee app but there is nothing of interest except for face masks which we needed for the stock that we have is running low.
I thought I have checked everything and got a good deal only to realize there is one shop that sells the same kind of masks at a cheaper price when I browsed some more. It's not a big of a difference anyway so I just let it be. I just hope the masks are okay.
So that's me for now. Ciao!
Ay maymaysam piman?
