It is not compulsory to post any article for the community engagement reward. In this contest you earn points for comments, upvotes, community booster, and quiz. You may want to promote the community in one of your posts to earn the community booster point..
But if you are applying to get sponsored, you need to post at least 3 good articles.

This could be a model image of a community but honestly, after setting the base rules... i hope you would not focus on the idea of contests so much but rather, offer constructive criticism along with the sort of reward for the article

I hope so. There will be lots of work. And I could call on you sometime to help out. More ideas on how to make it better....
So far, i really think the idea for your community is really great, just not a fan of repetitive short posts on the reminders, o guess. I'm not sure if links could be added to community rules window before a user joins but it would be great if a synthesis of all your policies could be compiled and that compiled article could be linked there would make it easier on both ends too
I don't mind being summoned every now and then. Anything that would help improve the content is most welcomed
