it's quite paradoxical Solar Phasing, because I'm above all a rock guitarist. But this music heals me..

Yeah, you're one of the few. You once made a proposal to make a BCH platform just for music. Imagine that Soundcloud would send some satoshis to the musician for each like. But the most difficult thing is to become better known. It is all about main stream. It is played and heard. A lot of beautiful music is completely unknown.

This idea of a music platform based on Bitcoin Cash would allow a considerable number of people to join Bitcoin Cash beyond the possibility of buying or rewarding music with Bitcoin Cash. In such a simple way. Like you say it: "Imagine, if"!

I am "nothing" or "nobody" within this BCH community. My words mean very little. The bigwigs don't listen to the little ones. But I don't despair. haha. One step after another! :0)

Thank you very much for your posivity. Is there anything other than mass market music on the radio? Generalist radio, I specify. Formated content. It's sad. Completely agree with you about the beautiful unknown music. I would still make this album about Bitcoin Cash, because I love Bitcoin Cash. It allows me to eat, to make better difficult ends months. This is concrete! Not holding.. Real money! And once again, I repeat it: this makes all the difference with other cryptocurrencies! I Believe in Bitcoin Cash! To his potential.

This is the reason (and advertising) why I haven't listened to the radio for a long time. Formerly I used to find a lot of good music on last.fm. Now I don't use it anymore.

I think that a new music platform based on Bitcoin Cash would be difficult to establish. But if Soundcloud would adopt BCH, it would be a great thing. Another thing is that many providers are building on a flat model. BCH is very good for single, small purchases.

I agree with you that most, if not the majority of blockchain music platforms are based on "wind". Promises, rarely or never kept. Not sustainable.

Unfortunately, precisely, platforms like Soundcloud will not open up to cryptocurrencies before the only existing currencies are cryptocurrencies.

Difficult at what levels do you think?

I was a huge user of LatFM between 2008 and 2010. But they shot themselves in the foot when they shut down the artist uploads of their music. I don't even see what this site is for any more, except a "listening directory" archive.

I think that a new platform always finds it difficult to stand up to the established platforms. If you are unknown, you first have to spend a lot of money in advertising. You have to offer something that the others don't have, otherwise people won't move.

From an artist's point of view, I think on the contrary musicians would be very happy to have a platform based on Bitcoin Cash. I'm not saying it would be easy, either. But that wouldn't be dumber than Read.cash, either. To preach an adoption of the BCH. If no one initiates the change, the change will not happen. :0)

The comfortable never innovates!

You have to think from the user's perspective. Today everyone has Spotify. The user no longer wants to pay per song (not even a few cents) . They pay flat per month like Netflix and hear what they want.

Yep, I understand this point of view. But.. On Spotify, you can't buy music. You don't "own" the music. You don't do what you want with it.

I'm still buying music I love. Physical or digital. The Cherry Bluestorms for exemple, here: https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/a-special-sunday-music-its-yours-05d68667 I bought/and buy all the albums on CD, imported from USA. I also have an account to buy music on Bandcamp.

Spotify killed the music business. Apple initiated it.

The main problem may be who still buys music today!? Artists need to eat, it's an education problem, today.

I think you are a different generation. There are a bit more vinyl records being sold again, but this is an exclusive distribution model. Most people don't want to own music, they just want to hear it. And they just want to listen to mainstream. That is the problem. Smaller artists have to market themselves, which is very difficult.
