My personal encounter with the stars
I am sure a lot of us have many memorable moments in our life. It maybe bad, good, scary and so on. For today let me share you one of my most memorable story while working at a service crew way back in 2003.
In 2003, I was hired as a service crew in Auntie Anne's Pretzels. They are known for the best pretzels in town and freshly squeezed lemonade. Most of their shop are located in malls and I was assigned in Greenhills Theatre Mall. Usually Auntie Anne's store is not your typical fastfood chain because it only sells pretzels and drinks but mind you it is the bestest pretzels.
The location of the store where I was assigned was inside a theatre mall in Greenhills. This mall is a little famous because a lot of celebrity are going in and out this area. Most celebrities are watching movies in this place too because it isn't crowded area. When I was still starting as a new crew, my crewmate would always tell a story that they encountered a celebrity as a customer and most of the time they passed by at the front store. The exact location of the store is actually in front of the cinema so you could always see the people going in and out of the cinema.
As days goes by, I also encountered seeing celebrity passing by the store. There's a school near Greenhills where a lot of celebrity went by. The name of the school is OB Montesorri. I would always see Chynna Ortaleza wearing her school's uniform and her ex boyfriend roaming around the area. She really looked like a barbie with her bare face. I also saw Aga Muchlach love child with Janice de Belen wearing his school uniform laughing with his classmates.

There's a lot more local artists that I have seen in my whole duration of working there. It was nice to see them without being chased by fans or being photograph by a paparazzi. They lived like a normal people and well as for me I can't stopped being star struck at their beautiful and handsome faces. One of my most memorable encountered would probably the one with Kristine Hermosa. She dropped by at the store to buy pretzels. At that time she was with Luis Manzano and her sister Kathleen. She was really a goddess in real life. I was the one on the counter that time and she ordered some pretzels. She then changed her order to a new flavor, the problem was that I had already punched her order so I had to refund it. There was a policy in the store that the refunded receipts should be signed by the customer. At first I was so shy to let her signed at the receipt but I had no choice or else it will be charged on me. I told her about it and she willingly signed the receipt with her name with a heart. She is such a sweetheart.

After her I still encountered few local artists in our country dropping by at the store. It was such a nice experience specially for a fangirl like me. And working in a place where seeing these stars roaming around like an ordinary people is such an honor too. But of all these encounters with the stars there was still one thing that I cannot forget. While my co worker and I was going home after our duty we saw Patrick Garcia in flesh. He was my ultimate crush back in AngTv days. The feeling was surreal after seeing him that I guess I dreamt of him that night. 😂

How about you? Do you have any experience with stars in your country? I would appreciate it a lot if you could write it in the comment box below. Thanks for reaching this far. God bless you all!

Our simple celebration on Valentine's day
How's your valentines day everyone? I have notice that a lot of writers here have written articles that is related with valentines. Of course I am going to share what I did the whole day yesterday.
I woke up at around 8 am in the morning, we're supposed to wake up early because were planning to get the kids vaccinated. However we overslept that's why we didn't pursue our first plan. Well actually I am still hesitated to get them inoculated because of some few reasons. The good thing is that there's a vaccine drive within their school and at the public hospital which is also near us. So if in case my mind changes we can get them vaccinated right away.
Since we did not proceed with the vaccination, I took care of my laundry because we've been out for the past days that I didn't notice that our dirty clothes have pile up already. So on the day of Valentine's I don't have fancy date nor beautiful flowers but instead I decided to do our laundry. The kids online classes will also resume next week because of the vaccination drive within their school but I helped my oldest son in answering his 2nd periodical test. Although I don't know if I am helping him or not because their lessons are getting harder each day. Anyway I told my sons not to mind their grades anymore because with all this online set up, whatever their grades are, its truly understandable.
My husband went out after lunch because he had take the car to a repair shop to fix something. Our poor Dusky (the name of our car) is old that's why it needs repair every now and then. We bought it in 2016, (it's a second hand actually) so it's been with us for more than 5 years but it was manufactured in 1995 so that makes it 26 years old. Old school is cool as they say, we can't afford to buy a new one because we have other obligations. Nevertheless, Dusky never failed to bring us to different places we wanted to.
I finished washing the laundry around 5 in the afternoon while helping my son in his periodical tests along with some google forms that needed to be answer too. My husband came in just a few minutes later and told us to prepare for we were going to eat outside. By the way, when he came back, he handed me a heart on stick which he found inside the car. I told him how sweet of him in a very sarcastic voice because I am the one who actually made it. He doesn't have valentines gift on me, I won't complain though because I got my early valentine's gift already. He bought me a gshock watch back when he was on board and I received it on the day he arrived. It's an addition to my watch collections. And well he doesn't need to buy me chocolate too because I spent $50 of it on our quick trip to Duty Free Philippines last time.
We decided to eat outside like some other families does on this special date. We arrived at SM Fairview by 7 in the evening and was shocked because there were really a lot of people outside and inside the mall most specially younger generations. I thought they were just lovers having some special date or something but later on found out that there's a mini concert held near the parking area of the mall. I dropped by at the customer service of the department store to renew my SM advantage card. It takes longer than before because they have some issues with my card but in the end I wasted my time because they weren't able to renew it. Maybe I'll just go back next time.
I was already hungry so we decided to look for a place to eat. I wanted to eat some pizza but unfortunately the mall is one hour away from closing that's why the pizza parlor cannot accommodate us anymore due to the long list of waiting customers. We ended up eating burgers and fries for dinner. It was honestly good and yummy. We took some pictures and enjoyed the nice ambiance at the restaurant. When we were finished the mall is closed already and there were only few people left including us.
That's how we celebrated our day yesterday. It doesn't have to be grand not unless you have a lot of money to spend. What matters most is that you spend it with the people you loved most and in my case I had spend it well with my two boys and of course with the love of my life Anthony.
To the one reading I want you to know that I appreciated your time and effort for coming this far. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.❤❤❤
Before I end my article let me take this opportunity to give thanks to @LeticiaFelize for her sponsorship renewal. Thank you very much dear. God bless you more.❤

Spending weekend with the family is the best
Hello everyone! How are you all? It has been 3 days since my last article, as you all know my husband just came and well we've been busy for some reasons. Well he is the kind of person that needs attention so whenever we are together I make sure to focus on him. Hahaha! Just kidding guys, he is supportive of what I am doing with noise and read that's why he let me do things that could make me happy, but sometimes if I am too much dedicated on these both platforms he scolded me and just told me to balance things accordingly so I can still have time with everything.
The actual reason why I wasn't able to post an article for the past days because I was out with the family. I have mentioned that my brother in law also came home just 3 days ahead of my husband so most of the time when they are together our bonding time includes going to here and there. Last Saturday we were supposed to be at Regina Rica in Tanay but a day before that they went to a family gathering because it was their late uncle death anniversary. My husband was also out that day because he wanted to renew the registration of our car so that we can travel freely on the next day. But our plans didn't happen the next day because they woke up late. (Inom pa more) Instead, we went to visit my late mother in law at the cemetery. It was already past 4 in the afternoon when we left our home. On the way to the cemetery there was a heavy traffic that we spent almost an hour in this particular street. We thought we could not make it because it was getting late, so my husband take another route, luckily the road on the other side was moving. We made it to the cemetery before the sunsets.
My husband pays respect to his late mother's grave which he usually does everytime he goes on vacation. To be honest he is a mama's boy, well actually all of his siblings as well. They don't have a sister that is why they always treat their mother as the queen. I didn't have any problem with mother in law because she is the kindest of all. She treats me really nice back when she was still alive.
When it started to get dark we went to Marikina to buy puto and bibingka for the birthday celebration my husband nephew the next day. There is this particular area in Marikina where they sell delicious kakanin and other stuffs at a very affordable price. After staying there for a while, we goes straight to SM Marikina because my brother in law and his wife is going to buy a new phone for the birthday celebrant as their gift for their only child. In just a few minutes later we arrived at the mall. This mall is very special to me because I worked here for almost two years as part of customer service at the department store. I used to be a pager, the voice you heard inside the department store for some announcements most specially if there's a lost child. And if you want to locate someone inside the store by paging their names you just need to go at my counter and I will definitely do it for you. Ah those were the days. I kinda missed working but I don't have regrets choosing my family over it.
After purchasing their chosen phone for their child, my brother in law said that we better went home and eat our dinner there. They don't have money left because they spent it on buying a new phone. Hahaha! It's alright because we prefer eating at home too, it was just nice being inside the mall with the kids after years of being prohibited there. The kids were so happy because for the first time in forever they finally got inside the mall.
We stayed at my sister in law's house until 12 midnight because as usual the brothers were reunited so they bonded over alcoholic drinks and non stop stories. I have to remind my husband not to drink too much because he is going to drive us home. When we got home the kids were so sleepy that after changing their clothes and brushing their teeth they went up inside our bedroom and goes to sleep.
It was a nice bonding with my in laws family because the last time I bonded with them was on the eve of New Year. Our get together continues the next morning because of the birthday celebration of my husband's nephew. I will share it on my next article. For now thank you for reaching up to this point. I appreciate every comments, likes and upvotes you give me for my every article. God bless us all and Happy Valentines!❤❤❤

My husband's arrival and a quick trip at the Duty Free.
Hello dear friends! I was not able to post an article yesterday because as some of you knew I have posted about the arrival of my husband which was yesterday morning. So your guess is right that what I am going to share today is about what happened on the day of his arrival.
Originally my husband's arrival was 6:10 in the morning according to his flight details, however his flight from LA to the Manila was delayed for an hour so his arrival moved to 7 am. I informed my father in law and his brother as well because he said that he wanted to come with us in fetching his brother at the airport. By the way my brother in law just came back last Monday evening too. At around 5:30 in the morning my father in law came to our house to fetch us. I prepared the kids and their things and went to my father in law's car. Then we passed on to my brother in law who was waiting for us near their house so he could come. We were at the Quezon Avenue at around 6:15 and Dade my father in law decided to take the Edsa route. We were supposed to have drive thru at some fastfood chain for our breakfast however the one we went to doesnt have one, so we decided to eat at the airport because we were anticipating the congestion along the road. Miraculously there wasn't any heavy traffic while we are on the way, and we arrived at the NAIA airport by 7 in the morning.
We proceeded to Terminal 2 where my husband is going to arrive, meanwhile we were so hungry that's why we looked for something to eat, unfortunately the fastfood chain outlet that we used to be whenever we were there, was no longer open. We decided to have burger at the parking area so that we can have something on our stomach. That time Anthony doesn't have message yet.
Honestly, airport is very far from the way it used to be. Before there was screen for the waiting people outside so that they will know whether the plane of their loved ones had arrived. Today you can rely on the announcement from the public address system.
By the time we finished our food, I tried to call my husband phone number, fortunately it rang which means he has turned off his roaming and has arrived. He texted after that he has to prepare some documents to show to the airport staffs. The procedures took a while longer that he was able to go out in the airport by 9 am. The only good thing about now was that he no longer needed to be quarantine and can go straight to us. We hugged him right away when we reached him.
The reason why his brother came with us because he wanted to go to Duty Free to buy some stuffs. We dropped by at the Duty Free however we were too early because it will open at 10 am, so we decided to eat first so that by the time we finished our food the shop will be open. And yes, after that my father in law drove us back to Duty Free shop and upon entering we filled up contact tracing forms.
It was our first time again going back there after two years. The whole place looked different too. From what I can remember the first thing that will caught your eyes are loads of chocolates at the shop. Staffs would eventually offered you of their available promos and such. Yesterday the shop looked empty maybe because only few shoppers were there. There were only few promos available too. Of course I got two bags of chocolates worth $50 dollars to avail of their promo. I got a free m&m's dispenser and an umbrella for that. We didn't stay for long because we might spend more. We went to the cashier to pay for it. Our total bill was $154 for a 3 bags of chocolates, 1 bag of butter cookies and 2 packs of cigarettes. My brother in law shared in paying for this total bill.
Moving forward, we went to the grocery to buy some imported canned goods. I was looking forward to buy some ramen which I bought last time but it's no longer available. Only few brands were available and we only picked up those goods that we can use. It was actually disappointing because our favorite brands were nowhere to be seen. We usually bought these stuffs for pasalubong because my husband's family is quite big. After about an hour were done and proceeded to the cashier to pay. Our bill this time costs $68.
On our way out to the shop we passed by to an area of sale items. It says 70% so we looked at it and got interested. It was a comforter which only costs $18 from its original price of $60.75, it was a great savings that when I got home I wished we should have bought two because of its good quality.
We got to the parking area after paying and went home right after. I was so sleepy that I was slept the whole ride going home. When I woke up we were at my brother in law's house at around 1 pm. We took the skyway that's why it doesn't take too long going home. We ate our lunch over there before we finally got home.
When we got home, our dog Yumi was very excited to meet his daddy too that she can't stop clinging unto him. I prepared one of his favorite meal for dinner. Pritong galunggong (fried fish) and ginisang ampalaya with egg (sauteed bitter melon with eggs).
I wanna thank the Lord for the bringing my husband safe and sound to us. And he was also save from spending days at the hotel for quarantine because of the Alert level 2 status of our city. For the next days we're gonna be busy bonding and I am going to share everything here with you all.
That would be all for today. May God bless us all!

The heart wants what it wants
Aloha beautiful ones! Today is Wednesday and finally on the next day my mind will be free from thinking about my kids modules because I passed it this afternoon. Anyway before I went to the school earlier I was watching my favorite segment on the noontime show here in our local country. I love watching it because they have interesting topic every now and then. Since it is the love month their topic is about people who married single parents.
What I like about this segment is the story they tell on the national television without any hesitations. Though sometimes there are sensitive topic but they have professional guests to assess or to give awareness most specially if their topic is about mental health. Since February is a love month most of their topic have something to do with it. This past few days I am having a lss (last song syndrome) on Selena Gomez song " The heart wants what it wants" This is actually one of my favorite song of her and the video itself makes me cry for some reason. Maybe because I am a Jelena fan. Maybe you already knew the on and off relationship of Justin B. and Selena G. and according to some fans this song is written by Selena for Justin. If it's true, I don't know either, but personally I really love the song. If you want to hear it, I am going to share the official music video and may you also experience the last song syndrome I am feeling at the moment. Just kidding guys.
https://youtu.be/ij_0p_6qTss
In my own interpretation of the song, the girl is inlove with her man even though they are in a toxic relationship. She is willing to take all the pain just as long as her heart is happy, because that is what her heart wants. Quite martyr right? But in reality there are many people who are like that when it comes to love. We don't have to judge them because it's their choice and we have to respect it.
Talking about choices, the topic earlier which I had just mentioned is about the love story of couples who are married to their partners who had children from their past lovers. Our country is known for being a conservative country because of our religion. So if you marry someone who had another child from their previous relationship, you can't prevent other people from saying things against that kind of relationship. Some are narrow minded and this could be one of the reasons that your relationship won't work. Among the 5 couples that has been interviewed, the story of the second couple is my favorite. The guy met the girl at work. He was attracted at the girl and asked help from her friend so he can make a move. The friend asked him if he is ready to be a father, then found out later that the girl he liked has a child. At first he was a little hesitant but his attraction for the girl just grew as time goes by. He pursued the girl even though they have different religion as well. Right now they are together and you can feel the love they have for each other. The other couples story are also interesting. One thing for sure with this kind of love story their hearts wants what it wants. No amount of judgements can separate them and no matter how many struggles they've been into they will stick with each other.
Thanks for reaching this far. Valentine's day is coming near, do you have any plans about it? Just remember let's continue spreading love everyday. ❤️❤️

I am as busy as a bee last Monday
Yesterday was a really busy day for me, since it was Monday the online class for the kids resume, fortunately this week my 4th grader teacher forwarded a message that there wouldn't be any interactions this week instead the students are required to finish all the activities to be pass on Wednesday. Same with my 6th grader which should be pass today. Because of that, I helped my son in accomplishing it. My eyes got tired of zooming out the soft copy of lessons in my phone because I wasn't able to get the hard copy last week. It's my fault so I have to face the consequences.
While I was helping him out, I am doing the laundry on the side. The other day I changed all the curtains, blankets and all. We had an automatic washing machine that's why it isn't a hassle doing the laundry most specially for heavy clothes and such. Just set the timer, put some detergents, fabric conditioner and let the machine do it work. I only came back when it's time to load the second batch of laundry and hang the batch that was done.
Oh before that, I went to a 'talipapa' near us to buy some meat and vegetables for my sinigang recipe at lunch. When I got out of the house, I saw our neighbor's brother cleaning his motorcycle, and he asked me if my kids are done with vaccine because according to him his nephews were at the vaccination sites. I told him I am still hesitant about it, and then our simple hi and hello lasted for about 30 minutes. The 'marites' in me is very alive. I interrupted him or else it will stay longer. When I came back, his sister just arrived with his kids and as usual there was another conversations. We rarely talk by the way but when we do, we never run out of stories to share.
After finishing our lunch, it's me and hubby time. He usually video called me at around 12 or 1 pm. Our country is 13 hours ahead from where he is so its 12 am at where he is. He was done with his duty and their free internet starts at that time too. Sometimes he delayed his calls due to a very poor signal. It is expected though because he is on the middle of the sea. He told me that he has already started packing up his luggage. Today is his last day at work and finally signing off.
In the afternoon, at around 5 in the afternoon, I asked my kids to change their clothes because I am taking them with me to the grocery. We were supposed to do it last Sunday but I know there would be a lot of people in the grocery store so I rescheduled it yesterday. By the way this is the first time that I took them out to the grocery this year so they were a little excited. Aside from that there's a new outlet store selling korean corndog that I always wanted to try. So before we pushed our cart, we dropped by at this store to have a bite. It was definitely good. I ordered the plain one and maybe next time I'll try the other flavor.
I let the boys roamed around the grocery store because as expected there were only few people inside it. I let them choose the foods they wanted such as biscuits, chips, drinks, and so on because I know for sure they missed it. I think we spent an hour before we completed our grocery lists. When we got out of the grocery it was already dark, so we took a tricycle ride and was home just in time before our dinner. I asked my sons to take a bath and changed their clothes while I cooked the rice and just fried some chicken nuggets for our dinner.
We proceeded on finishing the activities in the modules. Honestly my mind and body was tired but I have no choice. We finished it all at past midnight. I am glad my eldest son's class in the next morning is scheduled late at least he can have sleep a little longer. And that's how my Monday goes, but I know after this week I can finally take a rest.
Thanks everyone for coming once again on my article. You are all great! Saranghaeyo chinggu!❤️❤️❤️

Finally, he is going home!
Its been 7 months since Anthony, my husband has been separated with us. His usual contract last every 6 and a half month. Originally he should be home on the 3rd week of January, but last October for some reasons which I already shared in my articles before his contract ended early. He was supposed to be home by that time, but their company changed their decision on the last minute and give most of the crew a new ship assignment. He was transferred to a ship where his brother was on board too. His new contract should be ended by May but on the last week of January, he requested for an early sign off and it was granted.
You may wonder why he refuse to extend his contract, there's so many reasons about it. Number one, working overseas most specially in their line of work causes a lot of stress and pressures. He is working in a cruise ship by the way, where you really have to take a lot of effort to please your guests. Who says you can't please everyone? In that kind of work you have to exert all your effort to be at your best. After every cruise your guests will give you a ratings and if it is not good, your salary will be affected as well as your evaluation at the end of every contract. On the other hand, if your guests like your service for the rest of their stay, they will definitely give you a high rating and a big amount of tip. Unfortunately not all guests are kind. There were so many times that my husband received complaints from guests but at the end of day no matter how right you think you are doing, customers can never be wrong and they will be always right.
The second reason why he wants to go home is that he wants to be with me I guess. Kidding aside, of course homesickness is the second reason. Even though he is working overseas for more than 13 years he missed us every now and then. I know a lot of OFW can attest to this. The only reason they stay longer because they want to earn more so that when they goes home they'll have enough money to spend. So does my husband had enough money to spend that's why he is eager to go home? Of course not, I think the money he earns for the last month would just be enough for his stay until he comes back.
One more reason he wants to be back home is our upcoming celebrations. This month our eldest is going 12 and yes my valentine's day isn't cold. It's gonna be hotter when we are together. Espegee! Okay moving on, next month is our 10th year anniversary too, so it's cool to celebrate it together. We rarely celebrate it because of his complicated schedule at work, so most of the time the celebration would just a video call with different timezone. It was actually my wish before that hopefully we can be together on our 10th year and it will be granted. Hurray!
Last but not the least, Anthony is looking forward to celebrate his Christmas this year with us. Usually they will be given a two to three months vacation, assuming that he will be back at work by April or May this year, then his contract may ends before Christmas celebration. Hopefully covid virus should stop mutating because our plans might not prosper.
According to his flight details he'll arrive on Thursday at 6:10 am and all of us are super excited for pasalubong I mean my husband presence of course. We'll fetch him on the airport, hopefully this time we won't be at the wrong terminal. 😅
Thank you guys for dropping by and spending your precious time to read my article for today. God bless us all.

Grinding as a full time mother and a part time grade schooler
Hello beautiful humans! It's Sunday now and I am supposed to be resting and have myself a me time but knowing that tomorrow is Monday, reminds me that short vacation is over. Well actually ever since the online classes resume this 2022 the kids had only spent two weeks synchronous classes. They spent two weeks vacation (academic break and the mid year break). A week before they had the mid year break, their has been a memo from the school that there would be no online classes thus the kids will be on modular mode. Also starting January, I haven't been to school to get a hard copy of their modules. It was also the protocols of the school because of the massive virus cases when in the early weeks of January. The teachers only sent the soft copy lessons for each week.
I have two grade schoolers right now, my eldest is grade 6 and the youngest is grade 4. Eversince they started getting to school I have been hands on whenever it's time for their quarterly examination. I would make some test paper and then let them answer it and after that we will have some questions and answers regarding their lessons. That was always been the case. I didn't have a hard time because I have a lot of time to do it since quarterly exams only happens 4 times in school year. And being a full time mother I have all the time to focused on these. Hard work pays off whenever they got high grades on their examinations.
Little did I know, things would changed drastically. Suddenly the kids routine when studying is a whole lot quite different back when they were at school. Honestly, base on my experience I really had a hard time coping up with this kind modality. Like every week they needed to pass an answer sheets for every subject without being taught the right way. I was very disappointed last year, because I let my son answers his modules alone and when I checked his grade I was shocked. I am not expecting a higher grade because that time everyone was adapting to the new normal and my kids were a transferee, so I actually expecting a lower grade but I really believe my son's doesn't deserve much lower grade that the subject teacher graded him. I talked to my son's adviser regarding it. The reason was that the teacher who gave that grade wasn't even active on online classes so how would she justified giving my son's such grade. Later on I found out that students usually on lower sections received that kind of grades because they focused more on the higher sections. And since my son is a tranferee he wasn't properly evaluated because of pandemic thus he was sent to that sections. There was nothing I can do about it because I don't want more arguments so I leave it.
Because of that incident, I helped my boys in doing their activities. My eldest can work on his worksheets alone except for hard subjects like Mathematics. At first I can handle it well but as time goes by the lessons were getting harder. So most of the the time Iooked at the net for the right formula on how I can solve each problem, just like right now, my eldest son's topic on Mathematics was about percentage, rate and base. It was like I am back at studying in grade school, I can't remember though, if this lessons were taught to us back then. Same goes with my other son who is in 4th grade. Their lessons are quite hard and the teacher can teach them well unlike us parents or guardians. I feel sorry for those students who don't have a parents to guide them because they need to work.
Next week there might be a submission of answer sheets for the whole 2nd quarter, so this day I checked out if my sons are done with it. It was mind blowing friends literally because my mind wanted to explode because of all the informations and lessons that I have to study so that I can teach it to my kids. I am glad this year, all of their summative tests were via google form. It was the easiest way than transferring the answer in a piece of paper and submit it to school.
With all honesty I am getting tired of this routine. Not to mention I have to do the household routines inside our home. Do the market, groceries and all. I am sure the kids are having a hard time too, they are getting bored of having lessons via online. If they were to decide they would probably choose the in persons classes. But for the sake of health protocols we have to abide with implementations of education department. To all parents, guardians, teachers and students just a little more patience and we'll get over with it. Let's claim that in the next academic school year face to face would be implemented so that students can finally learn the lessons in school and so that us, parents and guardians can now also find our peace of mind.
Thank you hearing my rant for today. Happy Sunday to all.

Spending $1,000,000 in 24 hours
Hello guys! It's finally weekend and I hope everyone is having a good time with their loved ones or special someone. Yesterday my kids were watching Mr.Beasts youtube videos, they were a fan of him because of some minecraft videos. Aside from that he has really a unique contents that's why I became a fan too. One of his videos which caught my attention is how a guy named Mark spends his $1000000 in 24 hours. Prior to that Mark won that amount from one of Mr. Beasts challenges. It was a large amount of money and I guess the guy spents this money based on his needs. And it was fun watching it, who would've thought that just by joining some random challenges you'll take home that big amount of money.
Now, I am thinking if I would have given a chance to win a million dollar, how would I spend it in a day? First, if we convert it to our local currency the total amount would be more or less 50 million pesos. Holy sh*t! It is a big amount for an ordinary person like me. Let's proceed on how I am going to spend it in 24 hours.
The first thing that I would buy is two vans for transfortation. My husband is planning to retire from work and these vans could be use for delivery or transporting tourists from different tourist destinations within our country. Upon checking the price it costs at least 2 million pesos each. It is nice to have a nice investments and later on manage to get more vans once the outcomes is good.
Next is that I have to pay our remaining balance on our house loan and insurances. Right now, we have two insurances and am planning to buy another two. I would give money to my two brothers at 1 million each and to my parents as well. Of course, I would share it with my inlaws family. That's a total of 9 million.
I would give another million for house renovation of my husband's old house in QC which will be converted into small apartments to generate some income. Speaking of renovation my father in law has been asking for their ancestral home in Aklan to be renovated so that we can have a decent place to stay once we decided to have vacation there. I would also spend another million for house construction in the land we bought in my home province which will also serve as our vacation home.
Investment is a must, so I would probably spend a million in cryptocurrency, well of course bitcoin cash to be specific. Another investment that I am thinking is to buy a 2 townhouses and a condo. Its good to invests in these valuable things because the price for now is still low. I think 10 million would be enough. 5 million pesos would be invested in stock market. I just hope I find a good mentor with regards to the movement of stocks.
But of course, I need to spend another million for our current house renovation. Our village is composed of townhouses, so most of our neighbors extend their house by adding additional floor to make it bigger. Since it will be newly renovated I would buy new appliances and furnitures inside it. Who's excited for the house tour?
So where are we now? I think I still have some millions to spend. Well I would spare a million to my chosen charity. I would save 10 million pesos for my kids college fund. Their future is more important above anything else so its better to have one. I would buy a new family car that my husband would really like to have. It is better to be automatic so that I can drive it too.
Am I spending a lot already. I wished there's something left on the 50 million pesos. If there's a lot more, I would take this chance book a flight to Korea to experience winter, at the same time visit the places I only see at korean dramas. Don't worry guys I would never forget you so I am going to share some of it on your wallet.
Okay it's time to wake up from these impossible dream. Sometimes it's good to imagine things such as these. I can't imagine how those lottery winners felt once the total amount of money they've won has given to them. But to be honest we must spend every penny wisely or else you'll wake up one day regretting.
So this is it for now. How about you? Have you been thinking how would you spend your $1 000 000 in 24 hours. I would be glad to know it too.
Before I end this up I would like to appreciate @MizLhaine for renewing her sponsorship. Thank you sis for trusting. God bless you more. ❤️ And lastly kindly check all my lovely sponsors below.

Memorable things that I have kept for years
How are you all beautiful humans? Sorry for being inactive. I've got a lot of things on my table that needs to be done. Char! Well actually I am busy cleaning the house because as you know my hubby is going home in just a few days. He has allergic rhinitis that's why I need to wipe out all the dust inside our little home because that is one thing that triggers his allergy attack. While I was cleaning, I see some stuffs and things that I am still keeping for years.
Broken Cellphone
I was really shocked to find it while cleaning, I actually kept it though its no longer working. The reason why I was shocked because of its size compare to smartphone we are using nowadays. The nokia 5800 was my first touch screen phone. It was a gift from my love last 2009. The actual price of it back in the days was ₱18000 pesos but since he bought it in St. Martin he got a good deal. He actually bought two of it one for him and one for me. Twinning yarn. What I like about this phone was its music player. It has a big storage for downloading songs which I really love.
Music player
Speaking of music player, here is another one that I am keeping for years. It was a graduation gift by my husband back in 2008. He bought this when he got his first salary on his work overseas. Just a little fun fact about my music player. This isn't the original music player my husband has given to me. The reason was that it was broken when I tried to charge it in a computer shop. The screen suddenly turned off and no longer working. I brought it on the power mac center and after a few days, they replaced it with a new one for free. I don't have any computer that time that is why I needed to rent in order to charge it, so when I tried charging it again, the same thing happened that is why I brought it back to the repair center. Once again they replaced it with a new unit. I learned my lesson twice so I didn't tried charging it in a computer shop anymore. What I love about this music player was that I can store some pictures in it and I can play some games too. Unfortunately, it stopped charging in 2014. I haven't taken it to a repair center probably I will take it along with my recent broken phone for repair. I wish it can still be fix so that I can give it to my sons.
Wrist Watch
Another gift from my husband. The reason why he showered me a lot of things because he wasn't able to give valuable ones back when he wasn't working abroad yet. I ain't a high maintenance girl so I didn't expected things from him. I am contented with us being together and having simple dates at the mall and eating some street food outside. But I really requested for him to buy me a watch once he got job abroad. I requested a simple brand that time which I can used everyday. I was surprised when he got this Anne Klein watch for me. I think he also got the same brand for his mother as well. This was the first watch I received from him that's why I am keeping it until now.
Stuffed toy
Meet my hello kitty. I had this back when I was still in college. I named her Katie because I am a fan of Katie Holmes. Anthony and I were a fond of going to arcade. There was this piso machine that we both got addicted to. The mechanics of the game is very easy. You needed to drop one peso coin and then wait for it to push the remaining coins in the machine. Once it dropped there is a corresponding tickets for it. We've collected a certain amount of tickets that is why we exchanged it to this stuffed toy. Unfortunately my boys aren't interested in it so I just kept it.
Ending Thoughts
These are just some of my things that I am going to share for now. I still have a lot of things that I am keeping because I am a little hesitant to throw it. It reminded me of some good old days. I know time will come that I have to take them away because new things will replace them. But for now let me reminisce the happy memories connected with these memorable things.
How about you? Do you also have some special things that you are keeping for years. I hope you can share it too. Thanks for dropping by at my post once again.

Oh Hello there February!
It's the first day of the February. And just like that, the first month of the year is over. While some are excited for their goals for this month, me on the other hand is pretty excited for some reasons.
Anyway welcome to another day of nonsense article of mine today, but before I could proceed with my writing let me first flex my beautiful sponsors below. By the way I forgot to include in my article yesterday how thankful I am for @Lhes for renewing your love, I mean your sponsorship. Thank you sissy.😘
What's so excited this month? Well my eldest son is going to celebrate his 12th birthday on the 19. Oh my gosh, I still can't believe that his turning 12 already. I still remember the day I gave birth to him and he was just little tiny baby then but now he is growing faster and after the academic school this year, he is gonna be in his junior high school. Aw, my baby love Aaron is no longer a baby.
I had him back in 2009, that time I was working as a customer service assistant at SM Marikina, it was actually my first job after college. I belong to the pioneer batch that's why a lot of us were regularized after our probationary period. Before I learned that I was pregnant, 3 of my batchmates were also pregnant at that time. I really thought I wasn't since my menstruation is irregular, until I took the pregnancy test and boom I became the fourth one in our batch to be pregnant. It was actually good because I had someone I can shared with cravings, and all the things to be expected while being pregnant for the first time. We used to gather before but since I moved a little far from the rest of my batchmates we meet very seldom. I think the last one was in 2017, now we only got the chance to communicate and catch up through our group chat sharing our child recent pictures and other stuffs.
I haven't plan on what celebration were gonna have this year, but more or less it will be just like the same thing we had last year. A simple family gathering and giving my son a simple gift. Speaking of gift, his dad is going home in a few days and that's probably the bestest gift for his birthday.
Just yesterday, my husband forwarded me a photo of his flight details. If you could still remember he was keeping it a secret to me because he wasn't sure about the exact date yet. But it was now confirmed that he is going home in less than 10 days. At the moment he is still in hotel quarantine because of being positive with covid virus on the last week of January. He might report for another week at work and then prepare for his departure. Hopefully the news about returning ofw (Overseas Filipino Worker) no longer be quarantine as long as they can present a negative pcr test is true. If that would be the case, then he will no longer needs to stay at the hotel and goes straight to us on his arrival. Ah I can't wait any longer. I am so excited here, we truly missed him a lot.
I can finally go to the mall once again, because someone will take me there, I hope the kids can go too. The last time I went to the mall was back in September last year for my second dose vaccine. The location for the vaccine was inside the mall. After my inoculation I wander at the mall for about 30 minutes or so and goes back home because the kids were left alone. Now if the kids aren't still allow inside the mall premises, maybe we can have some road trip around the city like we used to do everytime hubby is home. I just wish he'll come back to us safe and sound.
Thanks for dropping by lovely friends. I am hoping everyone is doing good on the first day of the month. God bless us.

Would you rather? (apocalypse questions)
Yesterday I mentioned about watching this super trending zombie series recently entitled "All of us are dead." I started watching it yesterday and finished the 4 episodes. Today I finished watching the rest of the episodes. To be honest, I am not really into zombie movies or series. Maybe because of the blood and all, but then watching "Kingdom" last year, my perspective about it changed.
Anyway for today's article let me answer some would you rather questions about apocalypse. If you want to give it a try, you can check this link for all the questions. https://www.buzzfeed.com/anjalipatel/would-you-rather-questions-about-the-end-of-the-world
Would you rather be turn into zombie or watch your loved ones turned into one?
This is quite harder than I thought. But if there could be other ways that all of my loved ones will be safe from being a zombie, I would love to try it first. Just like how the protagonist does in every movies. But if I am going to answer the question I would rather be turn into zombie before I could watch my loved one. I might as well sacrifice myself just to protect them, just like what the father of Nam Oh jo does in the series I've mentioned above.
Would you rather escape the world by living underground forever or in space forever?
I think I would rather be in space forever. Living underground would definitely be darker so I'd rather be in space and be with the stars. Oh by the way I love watching stars at night and this is going to be a dream come true to live near them. I know this is quite impossible but who knows? Maybe hundred years from now or we can never really can tell.
Would you rather endure natural apocalypse or one started by humans?
Both are really dangerous, but if I have to choose I guess I can endure natural than the one started by humans. At least natural disasters wouldn't last for long although life is also at risk. Our country has been through different disasters every now and then, from volcanic eruption, to earthquake and of course typhoons. We were survivors from these kind of disasters. On the other hand, I feel like I am not safe with the one started by humans. Just look at the covid virus, its been with us for more than 2 years and I guess it will stay longer. How I wish there's a way to get rid of it instantly.
Would you rather try to survive a global pandemic or a third world war?
I rather try to survive a global pandemic which we are now experiencing than having a world war. I could only imagine the pain that people feel during the 2nd world war. So many lives has taken and many properties were destroyed. I believe life is precious and only God can take it away from us. Though global pandemic has also taken a lot of lives but at least there isn't too much violence happening.
I guess I would stop my article here. Thanks for dropping by and reading my post for today. By the way, let me take this chance to appreciate @itsmeCguro for sponsorship. God bless you sis more and more. And lastly check out the interesting posts of my sponsors below.

Personal Ramblings on a Sunday
Today is the last Sunday of the month. It's payday for those who are working and stressful budgetting for those people like me. This morning, I settled our electric bill via online. Actually it was already due last January 28, but I was waiting for the payday voucher worth ₱100 which is today, unfortunately I guess I was late for there were no longer payday vouchers available. I am glad there's a 30% cashback worth ₱90 so I claimed it and used it for my payment. Luckily our bill for this month went down a little. So therefore I got a little savings plus I got a cashback at the same time I used the extra coins which I save using the said online application. Oh how can I not love paying bills online. So convenient, it save my time and also got a cashback discount too.
Since I was already on my son's phone (I haven't bring my broken phone to the repair center yet) I checked my gmail account to check some emails. I received an email from hotels.com confirming the reservation of my friend as a gift for me and my husband for our 10th year anniversary which will be on March. It is a one day staycation at Conrad Hotel located at MOA. I am really excited for that well because it's free, and you know the best things in life are free.
Now going back to the email letter that I received, it stated there that the kids 12 years old should bring a proof of being vaccinated, and kids below 12 should present a negative rt pcr test within 48 hours prior to check in. My oldest son is going 12 on February 19, I am a little hesitant of getting him a vaccine but I guess I have no choice. My youngest is 10 so he has to take the swab test 2 days before our check in. Anyway the letter that forwarded was indicating that NCR is on Alert Level 3 and earlier I read a post that our city is now on Alert level 2, I just hope that by March the requirements would then change.
The kids and I watched Hotel Transylvania on netflix. It was really hilarious and the movie was about to finish when suddenly our connection stopped. Our connection has been like that since Thursday, the reason why I missed out posting articles in the past day. I am really frustrated about this because these days internet has been a apart of our everyday life. I guess you know by now how important is internet to us, mostly for those who are working that needs stable internet connection.
I called the customer service and already have my ticket number for my concerns. They told me that they put it on the priority list, and yet no one is responsing to it and thus our unstable connection continues. Earlier I was once again on the phone talking to a customer service assuring me that he will forward my concerns to the technical department and I should wait for their call within the day. According to him, he finally figured out the problem to our connection, therefore he is forwarding it to the right department that can manage to return our connection. I just hope he is stating the truth, because the last agent I have spoken to, told me that the technician would visit us the next day. I was really hoping the next morning, but no one came. As of the moment, as I was writing this article, our connection is back. The agent told me to monitor it for 24 hours and if the connection is stable, I should call the customer service for billing adjustments.
Okay, since the internet is back we will probably be watching some good movies and series. I am planning to watch this korean zombie series. In all honesty, I hate this kind of genre, oh well, time has changed my preference as time goes by. I hope the hype for this series will be worth it. Thanks for dropping by at my nonsense article for today. I wish everyone a good day and enjoy this beautiful day with our loved ones.

Nostalgic Memories
Who loves listening to music? I know you do. We definitely are into listening to good songs, whether it is an old songs or the modern one. There's a lot of music genre out there, but if you would ask me what I like the most, I would say there's too many to mention. I am into pop, a little bit of alternative rocks, rnb, and well I love kpop as well.
Just this morning, to get rid of my boredome I opened my youtube application and played some music. I searched for this particular song back in high school and when it played, the nostalgic memories from high school came back. This song is like one of my favorites. Every time I listened to it, I feel like I wanna go back to the old times and experienced the fun of high school life. Are you like that too? Or is there any particular song that reminds you of your high school life. Anyway here is the song that I am telling you about.
https://youtu.be/q96o9AvJO0M
I know the generation from 90's can relate from this song very well. I love INOJ songs and her soft voice. And I guess this song was quite familiar in tiktok. So after listening to her songs, the youtube recommended another song that I really really like.
Just like the first song, the second song brings back another memory from the past. The song is from Chris Brown, and the title of the song is With You. Whenever I played this song, it reminds me of my old ipod nano. It was my ex boyfriend then now husband gift for me when I graduated from college. He was already working overseas then, and the thing is that he bought that music player for me when he got his first salary. I asked my cousin to download songs on my ipod nano. And this song was number one on my list, that's why it became my favorite, and well if you look at the lyrics of the songs you'll probably love it too. I feel like he was singing this song for me. By the way, would you believe that I kept my old music player up until now even though it was no longer working because of its sentimental value.
https://youtu.be/nmjdaBaZe8Y
I bet you all know about Rihanna and Chris Brown issues and it was really not a good one. But it could happen to anyone, just that these two was controversial because they were famous that time. I hope the wounds of their past are healed. Ok so let's move on. The next song is from Jordin Sparks with Chris Brown.
The song reminded me of my friendster account. What is friendster? OMG, I feel really old, well before facebook became famous, friendster was a trend back in 2004. I was in college that time, I used to go to computer shop not to research but to checked my friendster account. Hahaha! Oh well not just only me but a lot of my classmates and schoolmates as well. That time, our mobile phone was very basic so the only way to connect via internet was to use personal computer. And since I don't own one, renting to the nearest computer shop could be the only way. That why kids nowadays are very lucky because of the upgraded technology. Going back to my friendster account, this song was my music background. So whenever you checked out my profile this music is playing. Quite cool right? Ah memories.

Ending Thoughts
Every song that we heard played a big part in our life. There are songs that helps us cope up with our every situation, whether it is a happy or bad one. Maybe because some of this songs lyrics describes our feelings in some particular moment of our life. That's why there are song for broken hearted people, for those who are inlove, for a friend and for our parents. Lastly there would always be a special song that will bring back all the happy and good memories we had for years.
So how about you? What songs in particular that gives you a nostalgic feeling? I hope you can share it too.
Thanks for reading.

Spent my 3 hours at the bank
Hello lovely readers. I hope everyone is doing fine and good today. What I am about to share for today is about I did the other day. About last week I was already planning on going to the bank because I need to do some over the counter transactions. The 1st one was that I needed to fund my checking account because the current balance is already below minimum. The maintaining balance supposedly is 10,000 php or about $200. There is a corresponding charges of 300 php ($6) at the end of the month if you haven't maintained it. So last month because of my negligence I forgot to fund it before the month ended therefore the bank has taken away 300 php from my remaining balance.
I was actually using this checking account for our monthly house amortization. I opened it in 2012 and continously used it until last year. We are paying our house through Pag-ibig housing loan, so every year I provided them 12 post dated checks. But last November I preferred paying via gcash because I find it a little convenient. Now the reason that I still needed to fund my checking account was that the monthly payment for my youngest son's insurance was deducted through it.
The second reason why I was at the bank yesterday was I needed to update my son's account and deposit the amount of money he and his brother had collected last holiday. His godmother also deposited some amount there so I needed to check it too so that I can update her.
I arrived at around 1130 am in the bank's location which is just a few minutes away from our home so I Ieft my kids at home. They were used to it by the way. It was around lunch time and I was planning to buy take out foods for our lunch after I am done with my errand. I filled out some contact tracing form and proceed to the long queue of people waiting for their turns. The line is moving very slowly that when I checked the time on my phone it was already 1 oclock in the afternoon. I messaged my son to eat something because I might got home late. Glad we had some heavy breakfast that day. I was really annoyed but I guess not only me but the other people as well because of the slow moving of line. I am also worried for my kids so I keep chatting them. I was actually planning to go home and do an online bank transaction instead, unfortunately my son's account isn't enrolled in mobile banking yet. So I stayed, by around 2 in the afternoon I was already inside the bank premises. There are only few who are allowed inside because the management is strictly implementing health protocols.
When I secured my queue number I thought the transaction will be faster. And again I was wrong, I waited for another 1 hour before the teller called my number. Finally it was my turn, ironically my transaction only lasted for about 5 minutes, meanwhile I have to wait for more than 3 hours. Honestly that was the longest time I spent at the bank for just a mere transaction. My only fault was that I haven't enrolled to their mobile banking. I might considered enrolling it like my other account from the other bank.
It was totally a waste of time because I can do a lot of things within that certain amount of time. I missed my lunch, and I was supposed to do some groceries too. I just felt bad for the people that needs to be there personally because there are some transactions that weren't allowed via online. They have no choice but to stay. How I wish that the bank could've added more tellers so that there are more clients that can be attended to. As we all know that time is gold. Every minutes and seconds counts.
Ending Thoughts
Because of this incident, I would probably enrolled my son's account in their mobile banking. I am hesitated at first because of some fraud and scams online. But after enrolling my account from the other bank through online, I find the ease and convenient using it. I can instantly finished any transaction within a snap of a finger. Just that you have to be very careful because one single mistake can't be easily fixed.
Thanks for taking your time reading my article for today. Let me take this opportunity to give thanks to @LeticiaFelize @BCH_LOVER @Itsfarah for renewing their sponsorship. Thanks for the trust my dear friends. And of course please give some love to all my sponsors below.

He is covid positive
This morning I woke up with a not so good news. Yesterday my article was about me being excited for Anthony is going home soon. But then when I woke up this morning, there was a few missed call from him. I was using my youngest fb account by the way. I can't logged in on my own account for now because their teachers updated their group chat from time to time. I also checked my oldest son for updates in his online class. Fortunately, this whole week they will be having asynchronous learning which means no online closes for the meantime. Upon checking my oldest son's phone I notice that there was some new conversation on our family gc where my son is included. About last week, my brother in law who is also working as a seafarer confirmed that he is indeed positive for covid. Now my husband also confirmed that he caught the virus as well. That could be the reason of early morning missed call I received from the other phone.
I message my husband right away, and few minutes later he called. He was already at the quarantine quarter of their ship. He told me that he is a little feverish and his antigen test came out positive. And as a part of health protocols inside their company he has to be quarantine for the next 10 days. Before it was 14 days but lately they reduced it to 10 days once your swab test turns out negative. He had actually had his 1st booster a few days ago, so I am a little confident that his symptoms won't be that bad. I told him to sleep and drink his prescribed medicine.
Just how the night changes so fast. The night before his antigen came positive, we had talked and he was all okay that night. According to him he maybe caught the virus from one of their guests who came out positive too. Before that, many of his co workers has caught the virus as well. In fact, he has been a close contact to some of them but he remained negative for the past swab tests. He was actually joking that because they drank alcohol (liquor) before the swab test that's why it always came negative. Then one time, I remember him saying that hopefully before he comes back home in the Philippines, he will experience being positive too. Oh well as the saying goes by, be careful with what you wish for, because it might come true.
Right now, he is experiencing headache and bodyache. His cough is worst too specially at night. I told him to gargle a warm water with salt so that it can somehow gives a little relief to his throat. I am actually worried because he is far away from us. I wanted to take care of him but how. I remember back in 2017 when he was also hospitalized in Thailand all alone because of appendicitis. Well its a long story so I'll tell you about it next time. I just hope he gets well in the next couple of days and can get home to us good and healthy.
Thanks for spending your time reading my post for today. I hope we can take care of ourself as we aren't safe from this omicron variant. It can easily be transmitted to anyone so do your best to do the safety protocols. Have a nice day to all.

Random thinking on a Sunday
It's the end of the week which means vacation is over for my boys. I woke up very late again because I slept late last night. I wish I could change my sleeping pattern so that I can be more productive in the following days. I am trying hard to do that, the problem is that whenever I slept early, I had this habit waking up in the middle of the night, and when it happened I had a hard time going back to sleep. I guess I just need to be consistent if I wanted to achieve something.
Am I right? The only problem in achieving things were some distraction that we need to eliminate in order to be successful. So how can we do it? Well, I don't know either. Seriously speaking, with my own experiences focusing on your goals can help you get rid of distractions. You should always have your eyes on the prize. Rewards in the end is definitely worth it in the end.
There was one time that I am having a hard time losing my weight back in 2017. I then set a goal of exercising at home for about 10 to 15 minutes a day. I looked for some easy exercise that can be done at home in youtube. At first I wanted to give up because of bodyache the next morning. To be honest my body has been slim ever since, not until I gave birth to my second son. I was fully breastfeeding him for 3 years and a half that's why I need to eat a lot. I think I gain about more or less 8 kilos after that. I am not used to it because my clothes can't fit me no more. So yeah for my clothes sake, I decided to lose weight. 😅
Unfortunately that was in 2017, when pandemic happened, my diet changed as well as my daily exercise. My husband used to have some exercise after we take the kids to the school. It was stopped because when pandemic started online classes has been implemented. Our laziness strike that's why both of us gained weight again. Now, my bestfriend is recommending me to do some yoga. She is encouraging me to do it now because I told her I might wait for Anthony to come home before I do that. She said it is better that I must do it first. By the way she sent me a youtube link so that I can do some yoga at home. I am looking forward this week if I can really do it. Wish me luck guys. I haven't seen the video link yet that's why I don't have any idea on what to do. But I know this will have a better benefits on me, physically and mentally.
Speaking of coming home, Anthony is going home next month, however he isn't telling me the exact date yet. My oldest son is going to celebrate his 12th birthdays on mid February and according to hubby he is home by that time. I know he was only bluffing me because he was telling me he would surprise us. I remember on his first contract working overseas, we were just boyfriend and girlfriend that time, he didn't told me he was going home. I was really surprised when I got out from work he was there to fetch me. Of course I hugged him because I missed him a lot. My co workers always makes fun of me after that incident. They always commented that we just made our workplace an airport. They can't move on from our hug scenes. So yeah, there are still a few days before I can convince him to tell me his flight details, but if he insists on not telling me, well I can just open his account on their company website and voila my problem will be solve instantly. He knows I can open his account there, so he can't hide it away nor keep it secret forever.

Thanks for reading my nonsense article for today. I can't think of a topic that's why I just share a random thoughts that I have for the whole day. I wish everyone is doing good. God bless us all.

Croods
Hello lovely humans! Last night around 930 pm in the evening, my bestest friend from the US video called me, and just like everytime we spent more than 3 hours of talking anything under the son. I am actually glad that she was already safe from covid virus. She got infected on the 1st day of the year and then after some days her husband got infected too. I am a little worried because both of them doesn't have vaccine yet, but maybe because they are both health conscious, they're now doing well. Anyways as I have mentioned before that my phone was broken, one thing I missed about using it was the netflix application. I don't have account there but instead my good friend is allowing me to access on his husband's account. To cut the long introduction short, I was able to access to it again. This time I connected it to our smart tv and the kids were so happy because they can now watch it much better, unlike before we were all watching it on my phone. When my oldest son successfully log in, they were so excited browsing on what to watch, while I was still talking to my friend. They ended up wathing Croods which is by the way one of my favorite family animation. I wasn't able to focus on watching last night, so today I watched it again after I downloaded the netflix app on my son's phone. As expected I laughed, enjoyed the movie, and cried at the same time. Lastly let me share some good things I learned from the movie.
Never be afraid
Croods is an animated film back in 2013. The story is about a cave family named Croods. They survived a lot of disasters by staying at the cave whenever the dark night takes over. The head of the family, Grug is overprotective and always reminds his family to follow the rules in order to survive. However, his daughter Eep is a little rebel until one day he meet Guy. Things changed after when the cave they used to live for years was destroyed by an earthquake. That's where their funny adventure started.
"Never be afraid" This line has been mentioned a few times upon watching the movie. I remember Guy reminding the Croods family to never be afraid to try something new. Apparently the father has taught his family that something new is bad and dangerous, that's why they are afraid of trying new things that Guy introduced to them. Later on, they found out that trying new things won't harm them instead it will help them.
How is it related to our life? There are times we are afraid to come out of our comfort zone to try new different things from the way we used to. This movie makes me realize, that changes is ok as long as it will benefits you. Being scared at the same time will stop you from achieving your goals. Remember successful businessman weren't afraid of the risks when they were just starting. With some strong determination and dedication, success was on their side.
New day means new beginning
In the movie, the Croods family were somehow contented living in the cave as long as they were safe. When their shelter for years was destroyed, Guy convince them to the place they called "Tomorrow" At first Grug, wasn't convince at all because he insisted that as long as they can find another cave then they will be safe. On the other hand the rest of his family was willing to come with Guy, most specially Eep. That makes his father hates Guy more. He attacks Guy and both of them fall on the tar flow. After hearing the story of Guy, Grug finally decided to come with them to the place called "Tomorrow" a place with more suns in the sky that you can count. A place like not today or yesterday. A place where things are better.
We have to keep in mind that every morning means new hope and a fresh start. It's a chance for us be better than yesterday. We are blessed because it's our time to prove our worth and to correct the things we made in the past. If you didn't make it yesterday and today, remember you'll have another chance tomorrow.
Ending Thoughts
I actually had fun rewatching this movie for the nth time. The last part actually made me cry. I won't spoil the last scene so that for those who haven't watch the movie would enjoy it. I would like to end this article by leaving another quote from the movie.
**"Don't hide, live, follow the sun. You'll make it tomorrow."**

Friday Thoughts (to have booster or not)
Hello lovely read.cash friends! We are now on the 3rd week of the month and few more days and the 1st month of the year is over. And I am quite excited for next month because hubby is going home finally. We missed him dearly and we can't wait to have him back with us. On the other hand, I am worried because the covid cases are still rising and there's no signs that it will end soon. Early last month I am a little happy because upon checking the Department of Health update, the cases were gradually going down. From hundred thousands active cases, their record went down to 9,000 plus nationwide. I thought it was a good sign that maybe we could finally defeat the virus.
Or so I thought. The last week of the year 2022 totally surprised not only me but all of us because of the growing numbers of positive cases. I actually stopped looking at the daily update of DOH because it somehow makes me sad. So many things were running on my mind because of this circumstances. One thing was that are we going on lockdown again? And the answer to my question was answered because our city was on alert level 3.
Although, the situation today are much different from our early lockdown in 2020, but then I know a lot of us will continue to suffer for the nth time. The good thing though was that a lot of people have been vaccinated and some got their boosters as well. Yesterday my brother in law was inviting me to join them because they were on their way for their booster shot in SM Taytay. I am still afraid of going out that's why I refuse and decided to have my booster shot once my husband comes back home. By the way, my husband got his booster shot in his workplace today after his last 2nd dose vaccine six months ago.
According to the initial study, you can get booster vaccine after 180 days or 6 months after. But last month it was shortened to three months after your 2nd dose vaccine. I am honestly confused by the sudden changes. Truthfully, I am still undecided whether to get a booster shot or not. I am not against the vaccine though. It just that, are we going to have booster shot like everytime. I received my second dose vaccine September last year, so I still have two months to decide whether to have inoculated or not.
Oh covid 19 virus was such a pain in the a**. It's 2022 and yet you are still here. When we all thought you're almost done yet another variant mutated. And then right after one it mutated into another one. Are you seriously going to mutate into every greek alphabet. The last letter of the greek alphabet is omega and upon checking it on the net, there's a lot more letter between omicron and omega. I hope I am not thinking what you are thinking too.
What about you guys? What are your thoughts about having booster. Your comments will be very much appreciated. Anyway please stay safe at all times. We can make ourself free from virus if we follow the health measures that is being implemented by the health department. Don't worry if you caught the virus, just give your body a rest and you will recover quickly. Never stressed yourself too much because that might affect you physically and mentally.

One day escapade away from the city (Tagaytay trip 2017)
Hello lovely people! I really can't think of article to share today so when I opened our pc I looked at my save photos on it. I save some of the pictures taken from my broken DLSR camera. In the pictures library, there were some folders that I had made in order for me to know what's inside it. Daddy's vacation 2017 folder caught my attention. When I checked the folder, our photos from our trip to Tagaytay showed up. Last month I wrote an article about our roadtrip to Tagaytay as well, but this time let me share to you our Tagaytay trip back in 2017.
Last September 2017, we decided to have a one day staycation in Tagaytay. Hubby was on vacation that time that's why to make up for the days that he was gone he comes up with this treat. It was supposed to be a 2 days vacation, but we have to shorten it because his oldest brother has a birthday celebration somewhere in Cavite the next day, and the following day the kids will go back to school. Days before our chosen date I looked up for some nice but affordable hotel near the Picnic Grove because we wanted to stroll around the area too while staying at the hotel. I checked at the Agoda website and after opening it, they suggested a lot of good priced hotels. I checked it one by one and chose the one that has a good reviews. I ended up booking in View Park Hotel. The location of the hotel is just in front of the Picnic Grove. If you want to check some nice and affordable hotels you can check it in this link. https://www.agoda.com/en-gb/?site_id=1744603&tag=948fa426-9b1b-7d50-bc56-4a4be86624a5&device=c&network=o&msclkid=cff7d141510e16864019b0a9bdab06bc&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Intent%20Engine%20-%20463&utm_term=agoda&utm_content=br%3Aagoda%7Cgt%3Aexact%7Cbbt%20adgroup
Then on the day of our trip, we got early because it was Saturday, we were anticipating for some road congestion because it was weekend. We left our house at around 8 in the morning because our check in starts at 12 to 1 in the afternoon. We arrived at the hotel's location around past 11 in the morning. We parked the car and proceed to the hotel's lobby. The hotel's staff told us that we can take our things inside the room. The room that we booked was just right for us but it has a balcony and we got a big discount upon booking early. Also free breakfast was included in it. After taking a rest for a while, we planned out our itinerary for the day.
We passed by at the Our Lady of Manoag Church before we got into hotel's location, so Anthony being a religious one suggested that we should be there first. And so he took us there, we offered prayers, took some photos and the kids was able to have a taste of strawberry taho. I don't know if it's the same as the one in Baguio but it tasted good.
We got back to the hotel, and ate our lunch. The next stop was Picnic Grove which was just in front of the hotel. It was a walking distance that's why we didn't bring the car with us. This was actually my second time being there, the first time was back when I was still single with my co workers. But as a family this was our first time together to be at the Picnic Grove. There are some activities to be done inside the park such as horseback riding, zipline and what I like most was the breathtaking sight of Taal Volcano. We took some photos and since the weather was very hot that time we didn't stay for long.
We walked back to the hotel and then rest for a bit. We changed our clothes and proceed to our next stop. Our next destination was People's Park in the sky. We didn't bring the car again, so we took the jeep that will take us to the highest park in Tagaytay. There was an entrance fee and then the view from the top was so beautiful. You can clearly see the tiny buildings and houses from the top because the weather was great. I was actually teasing my husband because he was a little scared of heights. We enjoyed the wonderful scenery and well we took some photos together.
After sometime all of us were exhausted and tired of walking so we then decided to get back at the hotel to rest. The kids were planning to swim, because there was a pool inside the hotel too. My husband and I accompanied them. We allowed them to swim for a while because the weather was becoming colder probably because it's getting darker.
After changing their clothes, we drive to the nearest mall to have our dinner, and then goes back to the hotel again so we can have our full rest. The next morning the hotel staff reminds us of the free buffet breakfast. We were lucky because every Sunday they have a buffet breakfast for the guests of the hotel. And who doesn't love an eat all you can breakfast, of course I do. When our breakfast was done, we went to the mini garden of the hotel where we took some family pictures together.
We checked out at the hotel at around 10 am because were on the way to my husband's brother birthday celebration. Even though it was just a very short time, we enjoyed our little escapade away from the city even just for a day. Sometimes it is good to treat yourself once and a while because memories like this will lasts for a lifetime.
Thank you once again for reading my post for today. This was supposed to be published yesterday unfortunately our computer was having tantrums up until this morning. I can't upload the pictures, glad this time it's back to itself.
All pictures are mine.
One year journey in noise.cash
Oh how time really flies. Today marks my first year with noise.cash I still can't believe we'll be making it this far. I must admit that joining noise.cash is probably one of the best decision I had made last year. So today let me share to you my journey in one of the bestest platform I had ever joined.
Registration Process
In the second week of January last year, January 18 to be exact I joined this wonderful platform willingly, without even knowing what to do or what was the catch in joining it. Days before that, one of my close relative asked me to download this famous paying application on my phone in which I did. Because I have some hesitation regarding the said application, I did my own research about the legibility of it. I looked out for some forums in the net, and one comment caught my attention. The commenter said that noise.cash is much better although it doesn't have an application. The next thing I knew was that I searched it the web browser of my phone. There was a registration process that doesn't takes long to finish. After registering, I was confused on what's with the wallet thingy. I really don't have any idea how things work in this platform, so once again I did my own research about it. The site was suggesting the bitcoin.com wallet but from what I had researched I can use coins.ph wallet which is more convenient for me use that time because obviously it's from our country.
**First Post**
I downloaded it on my phone, and then entered my bch wallet address to my noise account. After completing it, I began browsing the site. I am thrilled whenever I see a red notification that indicated the free tips I have. Since I don't have subscribers that time and being a newbie too, I was really having a hard time on what to do next. I stayed at the explore button and then take note of the tips I had read about using the platform. I've seen a lot of users that was using our local dialect that's why I subscribed to them. So most of my free tips were distributed to some of them and other tips were shared randomly on the users I've seen on the explore button. And finally I've posted my first post.
Earnings
On my 1st week I was very happy because I earned around ₱12 or $0.25. It was a very small amount but seeing it on my wallet confirmed me that the site was indeed legit. On the following week, I just enjoyed using it even though I still don't have subscribers. I encourage my brother in law to join the platform as well and be my subscriber. Few more days and I started to have followers, I became active too in distributing my free tips to anyone that has a good post. I encouraged to continue using the site when someone tipped my post.
I actually used up my very 1st earnings into a mobile load, using my coins.ph wallet. If I remember it correctly that was ₱50 or $2. The rest of it were spent as my payment for my shopee purchase on that particular date.
Virtual Friends
Days turns into weeks, and then into months. To be honest, I am a little shy to interact with the other users, most of the users that I interacted first were users that have the same interests as me. So most of them were mothers because our contents most likely related with our children.
I am happy to meet new people from the different parts of the our country. That even though we don't know each other personally, I can truly feel their concern over my posts. Honestly in this site I can post whatever I like without being afraid or scared of being judge. Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the people I met from other countries as well.
New knowledge acquired
Learning cryptocurrency was definitely the best thing I've learned during my stay in the platform. When I first joined it I have zero knowledge with crypto world. Since the earnings was in bitcoin cash, you could tell that is was the first coin that comes into my mind whenever I heard the word cryptocurrency.
I am very much willing to learn more about our future coin. I am glad I was able to know this wonderful site because it opened up my eyes into the world of crypto.
Ending Thoughts
It was indeed a 12 months wonderful journey I had with noise.cash. Though I am a little sad because some of the users I met before isn't that active anymore. I don't know what were their reason, but as we all know the site has updated when it comes earnings from time to time. As for me, I don't really care about the earnings because I came to the point where I didn't receive any free tips and every heart I received doesn't have value. I just enjoyed sharing my everyday life. Also using noise.cash is my quick escape from toxic people from different social medias. I feel at ease with the other users, therefore I would rather stay whether I am earning or not. Last but not the least, I am very much thankful for noise.cash because I was able to make an account here in read.cash as well.
Thanks for coming into my article for today. I wanna let you know that I appreciate your comments, likes and upvotes on my articles.
This is it for today. See you in my next article.
All the images used was screenshots from my noise.cash account.
Friends fur-ever

What's up beautiful and handsome friends here in read. I hope everyone is doing fine and happy as well. Today is the 1st day of academic health break which means no online class for the rest of the week. Me and the kids will have a stress free modules for the rest of the coming days. It's actually a good thing because aside from resting, we're going to spend this week catching up with some lessons that the kids have missed.
Speaking of missing, yesterday, while hubby and I were talking on a video call, I was holding Yumi our cutie pie dog. She was actually a clingy and super sweet dog that I guess she sees me as her real mom. Like whenever I goes, she is always there to follow me. There are times that when I took a nap at the couch, you could see her taking a nap on the other couch. Going back to our conversation earlier, Anthony my husband, asked me weather Yumi is the only dog that I have taken care of. I told him it isn't. Then later on, we talked about all the dogs that I missed and was able to take care of back in the days.
Whitey
Back when I was 6 or 7, a close relative gave me a white puppy. During that time I was living with my grandmother my father's mother. My parents weren't in good terms and decided to separate that's why my older brother and I lived with my grandma. When I was given this cute puppy, I was such a happy kid. I guess you could already guess what color it is base from its name. I remembered back then most of the dogs names are really based on its color. So whenever I see a black dog, its name would probably Blackie, if it brown dog, the name of it would be Brownie and so on. As time goes by, people are being creative with by giving their pets a nice name.
Unfortunately, my Whitey didn't last for long. I can't remember its gender by the way, since it was a long time ago, what I can exactly recall was that, one day Whitey wasn't feeling well. It became weaker each day and we weren't able to take him to a clinic because truth be told, people aren't aware of animal clinic back in the days. My uncle buried Whitey in our small backyard near our pomelo tree. Whitey will always be a part of me even though we've only been together for a short time. Maybe because it is my first dog, that's why whenever I see a white puppy even up to this day the memory of Whitey always pops up.
Scooby
When I was in high school, my aunt who is my mother's sister gave us a dog. We named him Scooby because my youngest brother loved to watch that cartoon series then. My parents reconciled when I was in grade 3 that's why we move out from my grandmother's house though we were living in the same barangay. Scooby was also a white dog but with some few dark spots on his fur. I don't know much about dogs breed during that time but as far as I can recalled he looked like as an aspin dog. He was such a kind dog to us, but many were scared of him because he really barked loud. I am not that close to him, maybe because I was busy at school and with friends.
Scrappy
A few months later after we adopted Scooby, his sister gave birth, that's why my aunt asked my mother if we wanted another dog. Of course my mother agreed, and we named him Scrappy because he is Scooby nephew just like in the cartoon series. I instantly liked Scrappy more than Scooby because he was such a cute puppy when my aunt brought him to us. His fur color was a combination of black and brown. And just like Scooby I don't know his breed either.
We thought were going to lose him, because after a few days he started not eating his food and then he was uninterested with us too. If I remembered it right we fed him sugar and then right after that he started eating his food again. Few months after that, my father decided to neutered him. He knew someone who could do that and then the minor operation was successful. I don't exactly know the reason about it, but they said that being neutered will make the dog bigger. They said it has also some benefits to a dog.
Scooby became jealous of Scrappy as time goes by that why he became more scarier. We were scared that he might give us trouble that's why my mother brought it back to her sister. Scrappy stays with us.
After graduating in high school, I went to Manila to study. Unfortunately it didn't push through for some reason. I work instead for some experience. After two years, I went home for vacation and surprisingly Scrappy recognized me even though we didn't see each other for two years. I haven't heard any news from Scrappy after I came back to Manila, but I was really happy he's been a part of my life and I can perfectly recalled every good memories we had together.
Closing Thoughts
Do you believe in this quote "Dogs are the only thing in this world that can love you more than he love himself" I couldn't agree more. Having a dog will not only take away your stress, but you will feel their love and comfort whenever you are feeling down or lonely. Moreover they will definitely protect you. I have already shared in my past articles about how Yumi protect our home from a thief. If it wasn't for her, maybe we've lost important things inside our home or worst maybe we lost something more precious.
That's it for today. Thanks for making it this far, and for visiting my post. Let me take this opportunity as well to give thanks to @Olasquare for renewing his sponsorhip. Thank you my friend for trusting me once again. God bless you more. ❤️ Lastly I wanna express my appreciation to all the beautiful souls in my sponsor list. Thank you guys for staying with me up until now. ❤️❤️❤️
What's on my photos gallery?
This article is in response to my very good virtual friend @Lhes earlier she posted her article for today about some pictures in her gallery. She tagged me and asked what pictures I have in my gallery too. She maybe forgotten that a few days ago my phone is broken that's why it's impossible for me to share about it. However, I told her that I might checked my facebook account to check for some photos and make my own version of her article. By the way if you want to read her latest article you can check it here. https://read.cash/@Lhes/promptgallery-raid-b0f21d18
Originally I was supposed to save some photos in my facebook account, then I remembered back in 2017, I save some photos of my old phone to my google account. I immediately opened my google account and click the photos and baam some of my old photos were still there. So without further ado, let me share the story behind every pictures I am about to share.
Oldest photo in my Gallery
This picture isn't originally taken from my phone. Because as far as I can remember I bought my old phone back in 2017, however this picture was taken in 2011. This picture was uploaded in my fb account and I really find it funny that's why I save it on my old phone. Obviously, it's me and my husband doing some wacky posts. We are fond of doing that post like everytime. This picture was taken after we celebrated our eldest son's first birthday. After celebrating it with the family and relatives, some of his friends came with us back home for drinking session. It was really a fun night that we ended up having some silly pictures right after.
**Latest photo on my gallery**
Unfortunately, last year I received an email from google reminding me that I almost used up the memory for saving photos in my account, that's why I wasn't able to save the newest photo of my broken phone. This photo was actually the latest photo saved on my google photo gallery. The picture was taken a year ago, when my husband's relatives decided to go to "Heroes Cemetery" located in Fort Santiago, Taguig. As you can see from the background, white cross that has no name. That exact place served as the burial place for those unknown heroes back in the world war 2. If you could visit that place you'll be amazed at how many unknown fallen heroes were buried there. Meanwhile my husband's grandfather was also a soldier during that time, that is why he was also buried there but on different location. Some of our country's dead president were also buried there, even the controversial President Marcos which we visited that day by the way.
Most loved photo in my gallery
Oh my gosh, I have so many favorites photos in my gallery but guess what, this is probably my most loved photo. I am with my real life oppa and we're doing the famous heart post. I know this is quite a little corny, but you know in the name of love, you can always do things that is beyond your imagination. So this picture was taken in 2019. This is in MOA by the way, my husband agency's office was near MOA so whenever he has to report to submit some papers for his work, the kids and I tagged along with him. Then we always wanted to see some sunset on that particular place and then stroll in the mall afterwards.
My worst photo in my gallery
My least like picture because this reminds me of a painful event in our life. This was taken in 2018 when I had a miscarriage. I was 3 months pregnant, unfortunately some things aren't mean to be. It was supposed to be our third child and I was really hoping for a baby girl. The case was blighted ovum pregnancy where I was pregnant, however the baby didn't developed as time goes by. I have some spotting that lasts for days and then ended up in miscarriage. I have to undergo a minor operation that's why I have to stay in the hospital. What is much worst was that my husband wasn't with me that time because he just renewed his contract at work overseas. I am glad some of the family were there to look out for my kids.
My best stolen shot
I really thought I won't be able to retrieve this photo, after my phone was broken. This is probably my best stolen shot photo. This was also from 2019 where we went to my hometown province and do this extreme adventure. It was my first time driving an atv and I was really scared at first. I was hesitant to try it but with my husband's conviction I said yes. It was worth it in the end because I did enjoy every seconds of it. I have to give credit to our guide for capturing this great photo.
Closing Thoughts
It has been said that in every picture tells a story. I really like to take pictures because when I was young I don't have many pictures. We don't have a camera back then and the only photos I had back then was some photo during our recognition day which you have to pay some photographer to take a picture of you and then after some days you'll get your own copy of it. We are lucky right now because of the updated technology we can capture every important events of our life without costing too much.
So this is for today article. I hope you enjoy what I had just share with you. I will be very glad if you can also share a glimpse of your gallery too.

Academic Break
Hello wonderful friends! Today is the second week of the year, too fast right. Well anyway, it's been two weeks since the class resumes but starting Monday, the Department of Education NCR announced that there will be an academic break or others called it health break.
I wasn't really updated with the news about it since I rarely watched current events news on tv. Maybe because I got tired of watching too much bias on some mainstream media outlet. So the news about it reached to me when my sister in law forwarded a link on our family group chat. She is a teacher by the way.
As we all know, after the Christmas break a lot of people got sick. We were included in that. After the new year celebration I was really sick and I rest for more than two days. I have to recovered as much as possible because online classes resume on the following day. I have to guide my children with their modular worksheets as well. Luckily I recovered quickly but then I passed it on on my eldest son.
That week my eldest wasn't able to attend his online class, unlike my other son. But before the week ended, when Aaron my eldest is already fine, my youngest Athan got sick too. Just like his brother, I didn't let him attend his classes. We just checked his messenger from time to time to catch up with the lessons. Upon checking the messages from their group chat, I found out that a lot of students or some of their classmates wasn't able to attend the classes as well because of being sick.
On the following week, when everything was fine, both of them finally attended their respective online classes. Just that some of their subject teachers wasn't able to take the online class because they were also sick. Athan's class adviser even mentioned on Monday that there might be a modules retrieval this week, so on the following days I helped him in answering some of the worksheets we've missed last week. I didn't have problem with Aaron though, because he knows what to do, except for Math because their lessons are getting harder each day.
What is academic break? An **academic break** (or scheduled break) can be taken when no courses are offered for a graduate student’s program within a particular term, or there is a scheduled break within a program (e.g. summer term) Link here. With all honesty, this is the first time I encountered this term, probably because graduate students or masteral students are the ones who experienced this most. https://www.sfu.ca/students/isap/explore/enrollment/studying-working/scheduled-break.html
From my understanding, basically the reason for this academic health break was related with the surge of cases nationwide. Students and teachers wasn't spared from being sick that's why a one week rest from school might be a good help.
For sure even the parents are happy with these news because taking care of sick family members take a lot of stress. Because of that, the kids school activities weren't taken care of. I myself, is okay with this so that my kids can catch up with all the lessons they missed when they were sick.
Just last night, Athan's class adviser confirmed this by sending a message on the group chat. I know the one week rest from school will refresh the minds of every students. One more thing I just hope they won't spend this time by doing unnecessary stuffs most specially playing more with gadgets instead take this time to give their body a full rest, so that they can come back with their online class feeling better and healthy.
How about you? Are you in favor of this academic health break? Kindly write down your answers, reactions and objections regarding this matter on the comment box below. Finally, thanks for spending your precious time in reading my article for today. God bless us all.

'Til death do us part
I am sure a lot of you are familiar with this wedding vow, "**To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part**." A lot of marriages are broken because some failed to fulfill this vow. Well, I know there's some reason to that. I ain't a wedding counselor or expert when it comes to topic like this. But today let me share you a very sad story about a college classmate that happened two years ago.
During my first year in college, I met my classmate Ellaine. She is a typical college freshmen who is full of energy. I really am not close to her, as we have different sets of friends. We acted civil most of the time and from what I remember most about her was that he got a boyfriend, whom sometimes visit our school since he was studying at a different school. I think they were high school sweetheart from what I heard from my other classmates.
The following school year, I wasn't surprised to learn that she got pregnant by her boyfriend but even though that was the case, she still continued her studies. We are still classmate in some minor subjects. I can't exactly remember well but I think she didn't passed the major subject during our first year that's why she had to retake it. As I told you earlier we weren't close to each other.
Time passed by quickly, she gave birth to a baby girl and still continued her study as I see her often at school. I haven't heard about her after our graduation, although we were friends in friendster and later on in facebook. I remember checking her profile a few years later and found out she was working in a bank. She was already married to her boyfriend then and got two beautiful girls too. I am honestly happy for her.
Then two years ago, one of her bestfriend which I talked to sometimes during college, message me on facebook. She forwarded me link and upon opening the link, I am quite shocked and can't believe what I had just read.
The link said that there were two bodies found bloody inside the car. The girl was dead on the spot while the husband was taken to the nearest hospital. I sent my condolence to her friend after that as it was the only thing I can say that time. Unfortunately, Elaine's husband didn't make it too.
According to the story, the couple allegedly had a financial problem due to gambling. Both of them had been to barangay hall before the incident happened. The investigation stated that she shot his husband first and then shot herself in the end. If you want to know the exact details here is the link of the article. https://mb.com.ph/2019/08/24/woman-found-dead-after-allegedly-shooting-husband-self/
I really felt sorry about this tragedy and for their two daughters that lost both of their parents at a very young age. I don't know if I will believe in the details of the incident report as the people involves in it were already gone. Praying for their souls to be at peace is the best thing I can do.
Upon recalling this story, I remember the wedding vow that says "until death do us part". Honestly this is quite scary and hearing the word death isn't a good topic to talked about but we all know that is our final destination. However, I am not in favor for what my classmate did. I believe no matter how big your problem is, killing yourself isn't the best solution. It doesn't solve the problem instead it makes it worst. But then, we really don't know what's on her mind that time. I just hope that by now, her kids have overcome the trauma of losing their parents.
Thank you for spending your time reading my article for today. Just remember whenever you feel alone and lonely, keep holding on for God is there to comfort you. It isn't the end of the world yet and whatever challenges you are going through you'll eventually overcome it. Just keep the faith.

Broken phone now, what's next?
Hello lovely read.cash users and friends. I hope everyone is doing good despite the not so good things happening outside. I am sure we are all aware of it and unfortunately today we have an all time high daily cases of virus. It's really sad but it's there already, the best thing we can do for now is be more careful and stick to our health measures as usual.
Speaking of unfortunate things, last night the smartphone that I have been using for three years suddenly stopped and has black out. At first I really thought it was just a glitch or maybe a little bug but it's not. I just leave it for a while and when I came back to check it the whole screen is black and the home button wasn't working too. It was already late at night so I borrowed my son's phone and searched for some troubleshooting that can be done for phones that has the same situation as mine.
I found many hacks and tricks on the net and I tried it on my phone. After trying all of it, nothing works and my phone is still dead. Apparently, according to what I have read, my phone got the curse of black screen which is common among iphone users.
I have mentioned on my past article that my phone is a gift from my husband. He actually won it on a company raffle draw in 2018. He didn't really expected to win because he only got two raffle tickets and maybe luck was on his side that day that's why he got the first prize.
So far I am using my smartphone for more than 3 years. It has been so important to me because aside from it's a gift from hubby, I captured a lot of important events using that phone. I wasn't fond of uploading the pictures in my fb account because the quality of the pictures changed, so most of the time I printed some pictures that were save of my iphone rather than uploading it on my social media account.
I feel very sad last night because of it. I really panic at first because there's so many important files that was stored on it. On the second thought, this might be the right time to buy a new phone however my budget is so tight right now. And then this pandemic isn't helping as well. I finally decided to have it check on the repair center, I just hope that the repair cost won't be that expensive. Another thing that worries me a lot is that my files would probably be gone once it is fix.
Right now I am having a separation anxiety with my phone. Aside from the files stored in it, I am going to miss the games I used to play whenever I am bored. And oh, unfortunately I wasn't able to back up my second wallet in my bitcoin.com wallet. I have at least 20 dollars in in and I don't know if I will be able to recover it. Hopefully yes because it is something I worked hard for last month. Well if not, it's okay. Time to accept it and there's no reason to cry over spilled milk.
My youngest son was very understanding because he let me used his cellphone. Only that I can't log in to my fb account as he need this phone for his online class. They need to be online because their subject teachers update on messenger from time to time.
Hopefully next week I can take my broken phone to the repair center. Last night I checked where is the nearest power mac center located, surprisingly there is one in SM Fairview which is just 10 to 15 minutes away from us. I am crossing my fingers that it can still be fix.
Before I end up my article for today, let me shout out to @Bloghound and @Marinov for the renewal of their sponsorship. Thank you for the trust and support you have given to me since the beginning. ❤️❤️❤️. Lastly please give some love to all my sponsors on the lists below.

Certified Kdramaholic
What were your favorite hobbies of all time? Me, watching korean dramas is on top of my lists. Let me share why and how I become a korean drama addict.
When it started?
I am an avid fan of korean dramas. Watching it can somehow take away all of my stress. I started watching it since I was in college. I remember during that time there isn’t any free streaming site where you can watched the full episodes, therefore I have to wait for it’s scheduled time on our local tv network, by the way most of it were dubbed into our local dialect as well.
During that time, a lot of korean dramas series have been dubbed into our local dialect since there were two major channels where you can watched it. “Lovers in Paris” was very popular that time that I remember a local song they used as theme song for that series, and that song used to be my ringback tone when it was a thing way back. Ah memories. But to be honest, I wasn’t able to finish that series, maybe because I was a busy student and been working at the same time.
I guess the only korean drama that I was able to finish that time was “Full House” where the main lead were Song Hye Kyo and Rain. It was a romantic comedy and I really enjoyed watching that series. I stopped watching it for a while since I got really busy with my studies and then after I graduated I was busy looking for a job.
In 2014, when we move out from my in laws house I was hooked again in watching korean series. This time I found some free streaming site on the net where I can fully watched the whole series without waiting for the next episode. I remembered it was because of “My love from the Star” series began in our local network. I was so hooked that I can’t wait for the next episode on our tv. Luckily, “dramafire” and “dramacool” were there to the rescue. I was very happy that time because a lot of series were included on that site. Because of that, I remember sleeping very late just to finish each episodes.
What I like most about it?
What I really like about korean dramas is that the episodes doesn’t take long so the series ended in two to three months unlike in our local dramas that it takes years before the series ends. It’s quite annoying that’s why I stopped watching it for my peace of mind. I am not against our local dramas, but most of the stories are quite predictable.
The actors, from lead stars to supporting cast were very good in acting too. Aside from that, they have unique storyline, the twists in the end will surely surprised you. They have this formula in every story that will keep you hook and can’t stop watching after every series. I really don’t know what it is, but once you’re into it, there is probably no way out.
Aside from superb portrayal of every actors, the cinematography of every drama is also lit. It was like you are watching a movie not a tv series. It was far different from what we have in the country. Every series is very informative too, most specially if you’ve watched hospital dramas. “Hospital Playlist” is one of my fave because the story is so good. No antagonist in the series and I keep laughing, well I end up crying in some episodes too. This reminds me that I need to begin watching the season 2 of this series.
Their original soundtrack is also very nice. One of the reason why I am hooked at it because I love listening to music. You could tell that I like a little bit of kpop too that’s why even though I can’t understand the lyrics in every song, I am still liking it.
Lastly I love their food. Oh well there isn’t drama that doesn’t include eating. No matter what the drama genre is, eating is a must. And yes I always crave for their food like every time.
Favorite Genre
When I was starting watching Korean dramas, I am into romantic comedies. Probably because I am a hopeless romantic person as well that’s why I like watching this genre. Oh well, there’s a lot of handsome oppa in every drama plus even at my age I can’t stop feeling “kilig” (romantic excitement) whenever I am watching them. Plus I like it when the main lead got jealous and possessive over their girl.
Later on, I was hooked on police, crime and mystery dramas. “Signal” and “Tunnel” are another series that is remarkable and a must watch. I am sure if you are not into romantic genre you’ll surely love this kind of series. I’ve also watched zombie series that I never thought I would even watch. Since I am not into scary and bloody movie, korean series definitely changed me. Now I am waiting for the season 3 of “Kingdom” if there is one and season 2 of “Sweet Home” and “Squid Game”.
Ending Thoughts
We all have different hobby in our life. But keep in mind that too much is bad. I remember being in the emergency room in 2020 because I suddenly felt dizzy and I can’t stop vomiting. Turns out I got vertigo maybe because of watching too much dramas that time, and staying very late at night just to catch up with the new episodes of my favorite ongoing series. From then on, I manage to reduce my time in watching every drama. When I was inactive here for few days, I spent most of it rewatching my fave dramas while taking care of my kids. It was actually fun rewatching some of it but of course I didn’t watched that much because I am afraid my vertigo would strike again.
That would be all for now. I wish you all a good day and thanks for dropping by.

We all got sick and almost run out of medicine
Hello everyone! If you have noticed it guys I have been so inactive the past days. I recently mentioned about me and my eldest son getting sick consecutively. I was happy stating that we’re finally okay, unfortunately the day after that, my youngest son caught the virus as well. It was actually frustrating because we are running out of medicine. I was being careful going out in the past days because of being sick. I don’t want to spread it to other people so I rather stay home.
Because of that, I wasn’t able to buy medicine in anticipation of my kids being sick. Gladly, I still have some paracetamol syrup left in our medicine kit from last year. But what fears me most was the news spreading in the social media about over the counter medicine for the relief of fever and other symptoms was out of stocks. Why is that so? Near our area there are about 4 or 5 pharmacy stores. 2 of them were known big drug store while the other 3 were just a small one. It seems like we don’t have a choice but to be at the hospital if worst scenario comes.
I didn’t have problem with it when both my eldest son and I has been sick, because I have some extra medicine at home. But when my youngest son got sick, I almost panic out because we are running out of fever medicine. I had no choice but to go out of the house to check if I can still buy some medicine and some groceries as well since we’re running out of stocks too. I make sure to wear a proper face mask, I was using a kn95 mask by the way to ensure my protection from the virus going outside.
When I got out of the house that day, I was shocked because the road has been empty compared to the days when everyone is almost going out. I walked to the nearby drugstore to check my luck, however paracetamol and other medicine for fever was really out of stocks. Glad there was this medicine for kids that includes paracetamol. I bought one, together with medicine for cough for the kids and me as well. I also bought vitamin C with zinc for the whole family.
I never really thought that we’ll be in this kind of situation, but the fact that medicine is running out of stocks tells that many of my countrymen were getting sick. The daily covid virus cases even spike to the highest. Not only in our country but in different countries too. Even my best friend from New York caught the virus before the New Year begins. I assume that if we took the swab test, we may also be positive from virus, so the best way to do was to isolate ourselves from the outside.
But since I am the only adult in the house, it can’t be done, since I need to be out from time to time to buy our foods. It was actually hard being sick but you need to move because you need to take care of someone else’s needs. Though I didn’t went out until I am fully recovered. For days we relied from food delivery but not for long since it’s a little expensive. I am glad God has given me back the strength I needed and recovered early from being sick.
I know, I was at fault too why I got sick in the early days of the month. During holidays, we’ve been out to meet the family and relatives. Apparently, on one of our gatherings, a relative has been tested positive from covid. It happened last December 25, and I got sick on December 31. We also went to Tagaytay on the 27th of December and on the 29th we went to Marikina as well. Although I had been very careful and cautious with my surroundings, maybe my immune system got weak due to lack of sleep and tiredness too.
I had learned my lesson well after being sick. Physical wellness matters most specially this time. We shouldn’t just eat healthy foods but also be mindful of our sleeping patterns. If you felt tired, rest is a must. Don’t overwork because our body has limitations too. And lastly don’t overthink too much. Whatever circumstances we are into, stay positive and hopeful that everything is going to end soon. Keep in mind that in every dark tunnel a light will soon shine just keep on moving and walking.
Thank for reading my post for today. I miss you all! I wish I could catch up with your articles too. Enjoy the rest of the day and God bless us all.

What I am looking forward in 2022
Who would have thought that our plans for the coming might change because of the sudden surge of covid cases. When last month, we are hopeful that the new year might be the start of something new, not something worst. The worldwide news regarding this pandemic really saddens me, but here I am being positive and hopeful that whatever happenings or circumstances we had, for sure it will end. We just had to trust the Lord above.
I would like to believe that the year 2022 is gonna be a year of blessings. And I am looking ahead for some important matters this year.
*10th year anniversary*
My husband and I will soon celebrate our 10th year wedding anniversary. Yes you heard it right, we’ve been fooling each other for almost 10 years. 😅 We didn’t have a church wedding though like any other couples. He wanted to make us legal thus we married via civil wedding with two babies on the side. It was a rush wedding because the next morning, we had to take him to the airport for it is his schedule flight going out of the country for work. We honestly don’t have time for some honeymoon because we got two babies that time. So it doesn’t matter to me if he leaves me on the day after our wedding, what matters most is that the promises we both made during our special day.
10 years only happens once so we wanted to celebrate it in our own little way. Originally we wanted to go to Baguio and enjoy the city as we haven’t been there. However with all the things that is happening right now, I don’t think we’ll make it. Although I am still hopeful that we can visit the summer capital of the Philippines, maybe not on our anniversary but on christmas celebration this year.
Anyway, if in case Baguio won’t happen, we still have another option to enjoy our one decade of happiness. My best friend promised to book us in a hotel of our choice as her gift for our 10th year anniversary. I just hope, our country is getting ok by that time.
*My Aaron is moving up to Junior High School*
It’s so amazing how little ones today grew up fast. This school year my eldest son Aaron is in last year of elementary and before the year ends he is going to enter junior high school. It feels like it was only yesterday when I enrolled him in nursery. He was just little boy then, now his feet are even longer than mine. There’s so many memories that’s popping on my mind, back when he was a still a baby. But just like how he is moving up from his studies, I have to accept the fact that he is no longer the baby I used to take care of.
I just hope and pray that he’ll do well in the next phase of his life. High school life is such a memorable part of our life and I hope he can enjoy the rest of it just like how most of us enjoyed it.
*Travelling outside the country*
Who wouldn’t be excited to travel most specially if its for free. My best friend is bugging me for years to travel with her, unfortunately I can’t go with her, because of my kids. It’s her plan to travel with just the girls on her side. So she was planning to take me and her high school best friend for a fun travel in Asia. It is supposed to be on my birthday this year, however with the covid surging cases from every part of the world, I think this will be postpone.
But if it will be pursue, we’re planning to visit our college classmate who’s living in Singapore. Then, we’re gonna be minnie mouse for a day since we’re gonna be at Hong Kong Disneyland. But what I am really excited about is going to Bali, Indonesia. This is the plan, thinking travelling will never be a problem this year.
*Closing Thoughts*
So far these are the important things I am looking forward for this year. To be honest I am super excited for it. Our 10th year anniversary is in the 1st quarter of the year, so with all the things that is happening, it’s okay if we can’t celebrate it out of town. What I wish is that my husband can go home safe and healthy. We will find a way to celebrate it in a simple but memorable way.
The next school year would be in September this year, I am hoping that by that time, I hope there would be face to face classes. Lessons in high school is a bit harder so I guess it is much better to learn it in school than in online classes. Lastly, it is very much okay with me, if my most anticipated travel won’t happen this year. I can wait again if time already permits us.
Thanks for reading this far. I hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the rest of the days. See you on my next article. God bless you all!
The reason for my inactivity
What’s up beautiful humans? It’s been 3 or 4 days since the last time I visited this site. No matter how much I would like to stay active I know I can’t. On my last article I mentioned about not getting well during our new year’s celebration. The next day after, I was still not feeling well. My colds and headache got a little worst. So I prefer resting for the rest of the days and that includes not opening my account here. Though I still update on my noise account but only limited to one or two posts a day. My interactions there were very seldom too as I am focusing on my wellness. I needed to recovered quickly because online classes is going to resume in the next day.
I am taking an over the counter medicine for colds and headache, however the symptoms are not getting clear, therefore I decided to drink medicine for flu. It worked because after drinking it, my feverish body began to subside and my energy came back. We’re supposed to go out with family on Sunday but I refuse to come with them. And just prefer staying at home to recover more.
Then on Monday, when I woke up I am feeling much better than the other days. I am well prepared for the chores that is waiting for me most specially my laundry. My youngest son began his online class while I went out to buy what to cook for lunch that day. When I got back home, my oldest son is covering himself a blanket, I asked him what happened and when I hold him he is a little hot. He said he has headache, I got the thermometer and checked his body temperature. I told him to rest and let him drink some paracetamol so that his fever will subside. He wasn’t able to take his online class because of that.
I was able to attend to my laundry and finished half of it because I was a little worried for my son. I have to checked his body temperature every now and then. He was feeling a little weaker too but I am glad he was still eating and drinks a lot of water whenever I asked him. I continue to give him paracetamol every 6 hours and massage his body parts with ointment to lessen his body ache.
I am positive that it will only last for a day, but the next morning his fever continues. He wasn’t able to attend the second day of class because of that again. He started to vomit that day too. After vomiting, he feels weaker, so I told him to better rest. It seems that paracetamol isn’t working on him too, so I let him drink flu medicine instead. After that, his body temperature goes down. And then I sleep a little relax during that night because he is not too hot, unlike the past night where I can’t sleep.
Honestly, during pre pandemic times, whenever my sons got fever for one day, I would bring them to the hospital for further check up to rule out dengue fever, but these days it was kinda hard. Even setting an appointment with the doctor is quite hard. I have to rely on the net to look out for the symptoms that might related to dengue. Covid symptoms is another issue. I have watched the video of Dr. Ong that Omicron variant is very near the flu symptoms. I’d like to assume that we maybe got the virus but I am in denial as well. However, I told my kids to stay at home as much as possible.
As of this moment, thank God my eldest son is no longer sick. His fever is gone and very much better than yesterday. At least I can now write an article here without being worried. I just hope he will completely get well for the next couple of days and hopefully my youngest will not get sick.
Closing Remarks
God is truly great because the time my eldest son got sick I was already healed. Honestly if both of us were sick at the same time, I might not know what to do. Maybe up until now we are still sick, and my youngest might be infected too. Right now, too many people are not feeling better. I don’t want to comment about the virus because I have this feeling that we are into early 2020 situation all over again. I hope it’s not. Let’s pray for the healing of everyone infected with the latest variant. I know this too shall pass. And please don’t forget to follow the healthy measures and let’s improve our immune system too, by eating healthy foods, exercise and taking up vitamins. Take Care everyone and be safe.
