Why don't you upvote and/or tip read.cash writers? I noticed many do comment they like the article but an upvote isn't in it. Do you forget about it? Is it because of a warning (against someone/upvote circle), do you not care about up voting or don't you want anyone else to have more upvotes than you or?

I upvote writers everyday. Well, I have left a better response on your article on "If read.cash not pays"
I assume you arrived here later, after the mad article read.cash wrote about upvote circles. I never received a warning but others did and my name was mentioned in it. They were not allowed to upvote me not I them. It's over one month or longer ago now. I wrote read.cash what that meant. Even the good writers and those who just joined and I invited received that warning against me (not me). After my e-mail the warning was gone/no longer shown. From what I understand from the comments the same people, older users, are still punished and the newer ones have no issues, some exceptions. That's all I can say. It doesn't matter if I write only 2 or 6 articles, I comment whole day on I am clearly registered. I'll see if something changes if I stop up voting. That might take longer than a week to figure it out.
I hope to get feedbacks on your findings. If the theory is true, it may affect how people upvote on the platform - it will discourage it.

It already infected many as I understand. After a week I started up voting again but many do no longer or just once a day. If this is true the only thing left for me is an upvote to a newbie who is good and tips. Interesting thing to know: I just posted an article, commented you several times and others and my points remained exactly the same.
Interested thing to note: I spent about an hour on this article "If read.cash not pays" I upvoted, commented, replied to comments, guess what? My point i s still the same.
Recently, I try to upvote/tip newcomers more.
I do upvote some writers but i'm being careful not to upvote those who upvoted me to avoid getting into trouble. But sometimes i forgot those people so i don't do it this time. I'm being sad i can't upvote freely the writers even how good their articles are. 😔
Sounds like up voting someone you like or who upvoted you is the issue here. I do not pay attention to that because I upvote what is good. This most likely is the reason why I don't earn. It means too I can never upvote anyone again, the good writers are punished by this system. You can never know if someone just upvoted you since it's anonymous. What counts for me counts for many. Upvoting is no longer possible which means the tip is the only thing left.
At first when I started here, I didn't know what that meant. Now over time I have discovered what it is for.
I apologize to the people I did not vote for earlier. It wasn't bad intention on my part, it's just ignorance.
And so there are still many things that I do not know but at the moment I vote for all the publications in which I participate.

Just been here in RC for a month and I haven't publshed much articles. I'm more into reading and leaving comments on articles. I always upvote articles or even short posts that I find interesting and relevant. As much as I want to tip I don't have the capacity to do so coz I'm not getting much. Most of the time I have zero points 😊 but I'm not really bothered about it coz I enjoy reading, interacting and meeting new friends here in RC.
I forget. At most websites I'm at, these just aren't a thing.

There's something that is wrong with the read.cash system, ever since @read.cash penalized those who were doing upvote for upvote people become very careful to put their thumb on that button so much that you can see an article with hundreds of views but not up to tens of upvote. Apart from articles in the Bitcoin cash community, no Community you will see good numbers of upvote on an article. People are so afraid not to receive a ban. And true to it is that, right now if you upvoted someone article, and it happens that you read the person's article that same day and upvote it too, you get penalized automatically by the read.cash system. People have seen all these and have learnt a lesson from it.
I must admit that after others received a warning against me (I never received one) for being in an upvote circle with me (not true) I stopped upvoting and gave tips instead. Later I noticed there are still many who do receive over 40 or more upvotes. I have no idea if they are warned or punished for it.
@gertu13 is rather new I noticed her legends receive many upvotes I'll ask her.
Do you mean if you upvote one person twice a day you are punished for it? This actually means good writers can not be rewarded unless you have enough or are willing to tip them.
Like you said yourself, I'm new here. And I am writing, reading and commenting. I read all the notifications they send me. I read posts from those affiliated with me and from others I receive. BUT I only respond to comments from other users if they are related to the text. I vote and comment as many times as the user comments on what is published. It can be 5 or 6 comments and I also vote them as many times as they comment. I have never received a complaint about it. That is why it is the method I use. Since I am here doing error and trial. It's my way of learning along the way. If I have no complaints, I go ahead and receive a payment that I like.

It's clear that good writers don't earn anything decent here from upvote, only those who have been able to gather a community and run it like a group of friends actually get good upvote. If the upvote comes from members within the community I don't think there is any punishment for that. There is a bot on this platform that many still don't know about. Anytime you upvoted someone and the person also have a chance to upvote you same day, the bot will send a message on your account that you are doing upvote for upvote and you can not earn anything anymore for some days. Also, anytime you make a comment that seems former, like going off the subject of the article the bot would pick it as spam and notified you. This will limit your earning for some days. I have experienced all that I stated above last week. My account recieved a restriction message four times in six days.
The first, not you describe is clear to me. Does it mean I can not read those I follow any longer unless I do not upvote/comment/tip?
Upvoting within a community is exactly what an upvote circle is if you ask me.
The only times I received a message spammers wrote the same as I did was about my own comment. While I tried to send it my connection refused, the site was frozen, and while I kept trying it showed up.
It sounds to me the older writers/users better give up on voting. No matter if they received a warning it's clear the points are frozen if they upvote. Strangely enough, this isn't the case with the newbies, some people I am sure of they join upvote circles and spammers.
Sounds like those bots are mainly doing their job if it comes to those who joined before a month ago.
After receiving a penalty a month ago, I've been careful in giving upvotes to avoid the same penalty. But recently, I am starting to give upvotes again, lets see what will happen if we give an upvote to the same author frequently.
I never received a warning, heard it from you and others but the penalty was there. I stopped for a week, give tips since that moment but started upvoting too. Well, I guess I know now why I hardly earn.
I always upvote the articles that I read, and randomly tip cents.

Most of the upvote goes to the same writer and some randomly, and I recieved a warning for upvote to upvote though I didn't have many upvote in my articles. Last sunday I received one, that was the fourth time I think 🤔 But its okay, I don't complain😅
I think it's because the upvote goes to the same writer. As I understand here you can not do it more than once a day and if that reader pays you a visit, comments and upvotes you, you are in trouble. 🤔
It basically means you can not follow and upvote those who are good.

Maybe they r afraid to get penalized because of upvoting, i, myself experienced it n it lasted for almost 3 weeks that time n my points never move n remains zero for the said time, just thankful 'coz that time's most giveaways n sponsorship r taking place, i earned somehow because of that
That is possible although I noticed from the day I started here people were not eager to give an upvote. Did you receive a warning and if so was it against someone and they told you it was for 3 weeks?

The top is not the same as an upvote which is 👍. The difference is the tip is your wallet the 👍 is taken out of the fund.
In my case those I knew took part in an upvote circle. This means if you upvote one of them they say you are in too.
I start thinking once the link is made to certain accounts you will be punished in the future too if you upvote one of these people no matter how good they are. This means a good comment and tip are saver for you.
As I just understood up voting the same account twice a day can be a problem too. I try to figure it out.

Stop upvoting then. I think it might be the reason why I hardly earn too. I will try it out for a week or longer. Just commenting and tipping. I advice you not to upvote for giveaways either. It's against the rules to do so and/or buy followers.

That is the way how it should be. Upvoting is meant for an article that is well written. Not out of friendship or because we are paid for it. 👍
I agree, if you like it, you must support it. If you don't have money, that doesn't mean you can't be supported. Those you like must support him/her anyway.It can be tip, upvoting, inspiring comment and so on.

If you were part of an upvotecircle you were punished, those who knew someone who was part of such a circle were punished too. No matter if it was true. Many gave up on up voting. After the "punishment" was over what happened next? If I understand it well we can still not upvote those who are good and deserve it.
To me it's logical you follow those you like, are good, why being punished for rewarding them?
