My favourite subway salad only they don't have grilled chicken so I tried chicken tikka for the first time. Oh, it's so good! Lovely morning and the sun is shining after a week of rain. It's freezing but what you can expect this season? As long as it's dry and bright outside that's a very good day! How's your Friday? 'Dunster Castle's Medieval Gateway and Oubliette' This is Dunster Castle's 13th-century gateway and is the oldest surviving part of the castle. This was partly demolished in 1650 following the English Civil War. To the right, there's this Oubliette (Pit Dungeon). Oubliette means 'to forget' in French and that's what the place is for. There I was in the last photo standing on the now sealed pit. Prisoners would have been lowered into that dark, damp space that you called the pit dungeon through a trap door forgotten about and left to die. Imagine that. And many medieval castles have these underground cells beneath a gatehouse to hold their prisoners. We've been told that the former owner of Dunster Castle, Sir Walter Luttrell unearthed a 7-foot-tall skeleton manacled to the wall by his wrists and ankles on the excavation in the 19th century. I didn't stay long in there as it feels creepy inside. I can imagine how dreadful it is to be left dying in such a place.

I wish I knew who these came from but on the other hand, I'm so happy knowing that there are many Secret Santas out here. Oh, I have a big smile on my face. 😊 Just like today for the very first time, I received a £1 tip from a customer and I'm so proud of it. It's the thought and action that counts. As soon as I came home from work, my daughter Tia gave me this letter envelope with a lovely drawing inside. Such a sweet child. And what a beautiful drawing she made for Mummy. 🥰❤

When it's Halloween but you're excited for Christmas. So Tia chooses to wear her Christmas Jumper on top of her Halloween dress. But she said she's going to change later to her Halloween bride costume for a trick or treat. But it's raining. Sadly. 😞

I've been sick for days and I wasn't able to cook proper food for my family. Today I made roast beef dinner. And let me tell you, the juice from the meat makes the best gravy ever! I hope that's the flu virus done in our house. It's hard to get rid of its vicious cycle so please look after yourself and your family. I watched the news. The typhoon Paeng back home and the stampede in Korea and it breaks my heart. I hope that every one of you here, my dear friends are all okay. ❤

Dear Santa, I know it's good to be surprised by you but I know how hard it is to choose a lovely present. So here I am helping you out. I will take a picture of what you might want to give me at Christmas. Let's start with this one. Isn't it nice these Converse Shoes? A wee bit of height will be good. The first two picture is Thumper early this morning. He is having a great day outside and he's just too irresistible. He's extra sweet today letting me stroke him. Sometimes he is not in the mood and won't even come near me. Then I gave him a wee head massage. Oh, he loves it! Also today we looking for mates for Thumper. I fill up a form for adoption at Assisi Animal Sanctuary for a pair of angora rabbits named Amelia and Eleanor (3rd photo). Me and my husband prefer to get from the sanctuary for the same money. If ever they say no, we will get in the pet shop and see these two available rabbits for £45 each. That's them in the last two photos. They are super cute! I'm excited for Thumper! 😁

The Smile Before Her Two Injection The district nurse came into the house and gave Mum a Covid booster and Flu jab yesterday. She waited from 9 am as she was told it will be from 9 am to 3 pm and the nurse came at 2 pm. She was impatiently waiting. The lovely nurse had a good laugh at Mum as she says, "I can't wait to get it to get done with it." She is always ready for injection. She just takes it with ease. She got injections in both arms and this morning she's not well. But still smiling and laughing. Oh she's a laugh she said, "Good thing it's not up my arse." 🤣🤣🤣

It's Movie Time! Yesterday we went to the pictures and watch 'Halloween Ends'. The pictures? Let me share when I first came to the UK I didn't know that they call 'the pictures', the cinema. So there you go. I think it gets dear as well as we paid £26.50 for 2 tickets, a nachos, coke and popcorn. And this time as we have no choice, we watch Halloween Ends. It's the first time that I watch a Halloween film at the cinema and I'm very proud that I didn't embarrass myself. Do you know the problem with watching films that you don't follow? You question everything! For instance, I just knew that Michael Myers originated from this movie. Haha. Then while watching I keep asking my husband questions why? How? And who wants to be questioned when watching a movie so I just ask Google why Michael Myers kills people? Why does he need to wear a mask? Why as if he is immortal? And knowing they are brothers and sisters how then it started? And the Halloween Ends, is the end of it? I don't think so. But lol if he gets back again after being shredded he is really something. 🤣

A nice cup of tea on a gloomy day. That was yesterday. I'm sipping my black coffee now. Tia is not well and I didn't send her to school for a couple of days. She was sick all over the bed yesterday and badly coughing again. I stayed with her on her bed last night. It's just awful when a child is sick. My Tia will get better soon.

Medyas Socks 🤣 I don't understand how Tia's socks are left with no pair. She must have at least 15 pairs and now there is only 1 pair left the others are lonely socks, abandoned and the others must be playing hide and seek. I should try to find them or maybe Tia can show me where they hide them. She hates wearing socks and I told her to keep them on because it's too cold. Every chance she gets she will take them off and put them everywhere but in the laundry bin. Same with all the hair accessories. Nothing nearly left. 🤣

It's extra cold this morning I barely manage to get up. I turn the heat on but it's taking ages to warm the place up. So I stayed in the room. I brought the kids breakfast in their room as it was warm inside. Then I look outside and the grass is covered in frost. Freezing morning again, lovely people! Have a wonderful day. Oh, I can feel Christmas now. 🤣

Let me share this. This morning on my way to work I saw Tia's teacher at the shopping centre with her baby in the pram. I greet her and say hello to the young one. It's her off today. When I got into the shop I received an email at Seesaw. That's their class app. Mrs Ambrose sends an email regarding what they need tomorrow for class. It's her day off. She's with her child and still working. Just now she passed me. She was on her phone while pushing the pram. She probably answering parents' queries. She's still working and God bless her. God bless all the teachers. My great respect to them!

Have you experienced looking for something so important that you needed immediately but you cannot find it because you hide it really good? I want to cry now. My head is sore already. I've been looking since morning in every room and every cupboard and drawer I couldn't find it. And I make a good mess while searching! Maybe I'll have a coffee and then continue. Oh, my piggy heart!

At work now. It's only from 1-5 pm on a Sunday so I cook early before I left the house. Made Mum vegetables soup. My husband, a plate of baby potatoes, chops and mixed vegetables. Jigz sausage and Tia buttered garlic shrimp! 😁

Another load of washing but lol I hit the wrong button and it's now on Intensive Wash when it should be just Quick. Too late to stop it so my goodness gracious I have to wait nearly 2 hours for this!

It's a beautiful cold day today! I've done my washing and just thinking now about what to cook. We're on the way now to Auto Parts to get something for the car. It broke down yesterday. Here we go again, another expense. But still, thank you money! How's your Saturday?

My husband is not happy lol I rush him to get me first at work then we just lift Tia. Waiting for a good while in school there's no Tia showed up at the gate. Then I realised she is in after school miniversity learning computer stuff. Hahaha. I came back to the car without Tia and my husband was not happy but I told him he didn't remember as well so I'm not happy. 🤣

Good morning lovely people! Yey, it's Friday. Yesterday was tiring. My husband said I was snoring last night. 😂 I'm having my morning drink. There's no Nescafe 3 in 1 so I will try this Nescafe Choc Mocha. Tia this morning: "Mommy, you don't have to lift me today from school. Rowan wants to show me their house. So I'm going to Rowans" And I just laugh. 🤣 No, Tia you don't start that thing at 6.

Breakfast with love. This will be a long day for me so I grab a salad at Subway. After work, I have to do half of the shopping before my husband came after picking up Tia to get me. Then we have to wait for Jigz to go back to the hospital for the kid's other injection. Then continue the shopping! Are you all busy too?

Multitasking My husband wants an omelette so I'm making him an omelette with bacon and tomatoes. Quick and easy snack. At the same time, I'm making a tuna sandwich for Jigz and a ham sandwich for Tia for school. That's me in the middle of the night.
