My husband wants to look at a car yesterday and so we drive 1 and a half hours to Newcastle somewhere there. We use 'Waze' and lol it took us to a very long way at the back of the Mourne Mountains. I thought we are in another country! And here's my husband, "We are already near the border!" (South of Ireland) And I say don't you dare take me to the south, I don't have Irish Visa, the garda will lift me and deport me 🤣 Look at the view of the road. Lovely!

Tia: Mommy there's a big spider in your room. I'm so scared! Me: It's okay Tia, it won't touch you. They're nice. It comes to say hello then they will go away. Then suddenly the spider fly toward me as if it were a butterfly. 😳 And there I jump and hysterically try to brush off my shirt. And here's Tia looking at me (I even forgot that she's there) and she says, "It's okay Mommy, they are nice spider won't touch you. It just wants to say hello!" 🤣🤣🤣

'The spelling of the Week' ✏️ I'm very proud of Tia's handwriting. She can even write better than me. And those curls, I can't do it myself! She's teaching me now. 😁

This is scarier than Halloween. Lol. This is more of seeing a ghost or a joker at night. This is more terrifying. Our electric bill came and went up to £509. That's for a quarter. That's just one of many prices of basic needs that keeps pumping up. I hope crypto does too!

Jigz requested Siomai for dinner before they left this morning. I went to the Asian Shop to get a Wonton Pastry but they don't have stock so I just use what's left and the rest I use cabbage. That's a much healthier option. My first time trying this out!

I just fold these clothes yesterday. And surprised! Tia never failed to amaze me. Wonder what Jigz's wardrobe looks like. Can't be far from this. But to tell you the truth mine is the same. 🤣

Tia and Thumper Thumper is in good mood today. He's been hopping about while we're in the garden and Tia trying to stroke her. Look how cute they are! 🥰

Sunday: Tidying Up the Garden What a lovely day today. The sun is shining and it's not that cold. My husband started cutting the hedge down at the bottom garden. And me and Tia help daddy out. Jigz is at the leisure centre with his friends and Mom is reading her paper in the house. And here comes Thumper, I think he also wants to help. He is now free to hop about the garden. He is no longer at the hatch which is better for him. He loves his freedom! He's playful today. And Tia is chasing him again.

Done finish cleaning the aquarium! I haven't done sorting clothes and I'm doing bits and pieces of everything. Now I have to cook our dinner. Maybe, I'll tell Tia, we can cook her goldfish lol I can already imagine her face! 😁

Sometimes I just regret starting and looking at it and tell myself, "Can I do this some other day?" But lol there's no other day. Saturday is all about cleaning and now I'm sorting my clothes and since it's autumn that feels like winter already have to change my summer clothes and put it in the shed for the next time. More clothes, more layering in this weather. What are you up to today?

It's raining. It's freezing. And so I cook mussels with loads of ginger, garlic and tomatoes. It's so good. It's my comfort food. I'm the only one who eats mussels. Then Tia for the first time takes the notion of trying it out for first time. She had a firm 'No' before. And so she tries one and then two. And she never stops eating MY mussels. And told me, "How come it's so delicious?" Must be. She nearly eats it all. From now on I have to share my mussels. Do you eat mussels too?

Can't help to share it. Just at this moment, I'm in front of the shop watching an old couple (70+ I think) having their breakfast at the cafe in front and I can't help but smile. The lovely old woman is in her wheelchair while her husband is feeding her. That's love. That's care. That's beyond it. Getting old is quite scary but maybe not if you are with the love of your life. That's the real till our hair turns grey, I'm still here. That's what growing old with you really means.

Good morning, lovely people. What a freezing morning! I made porridge for the kids and topped it with slices of banana. Tia likes it with more milk. Jigz wants it dry. And I'm the same with Jigz lol. Traditional Thatched Cottages These lovely thatched cottages are located in the beautiful village of Dunster in England. It's one of the most beautiful villages that I've seen in my life. Tia said, that pink is her house! 😁

Spelling and Math with Tia and lol some sweeties for inspiration. Focus on the goal and get your rewards after. Actually, the sweets are to help her with her Math and learn her how to use money. We have loose change from 1pence to 2 pounds and I'm selling the sweets for different amounts and she has to give me that amount if she wants the sweeties. 😁

Had a good laugh last night. We're at the table, Tia is doing her homework while I'm covering her book. And this cover is different from what I used to, you stick it to the book and I can't make it flat. And I whispered. Whispered, lovely people. "I hate this job." And Tia was like, "Why you keep doing it?" Like, she was busy doing her work and didn't know that she will hear a whisper.🤣 If only she knows when you become an adult you have to do things even the ones you hate. I don't like covering books. Since elementary. Period. But here I am, no choice.

My Dream Camper Van We're at Greyabbey Carshow now. Went straight after my Booster jab and I saw again my dream camper van. If ever I learn to drive, I want one of this. 😁

Getting my Covid Booster. It's a long queue but I need this jab for going home. I wish the first and second doses will be enough but the Philippines still required at least 1 Booster shot. So there you go!

So busy the whole day till night. It's our shopping day plus attended a school meeting after work. Like I lift at least 50 rugs at work today from the big carpets to hall runners. My back is sore. Even Jigz give me a hand tonight reading the school book with Tia which is really good and I appreciate it. He's a good man! 🥰 The clothes that I just wash I don't think I can fold tonight so I left them lying on the couch. And no, no walking, I had a good walk already the whole day. 🤣 Oh, you're day just starting so let me greet you with a big smile, "Have a lovely day!" And for me and others, "Have a good night.".

Tonight's Playful Walk We're just back home from our night walk. We started walking at 9 pm after the kids went to bed. We decided we were not going far and just walking around the town. It's late but we passed the leisure centre and there's a hockey match. I love all the lights at night though some places are really dark. There's the last bus for tonight. I'm sure the driver is ready for bed. Then we just enjoy our shadows and make the most of it. The last picture is not what you think it is but lol we had a good laugh! That's a fun walk tonight. ❤

Today I brought some bags of tomatoes with me. We've got loads of harvest so it's better to give away some. I already gave my bosses so some I give to customers who would want it and some of the shop staff if they say yes to it. I hope they will like the home-grown better! Taste better anyway. Me after a long weekend. I can't believe I turn the alarm off and went back to sleep and woke up jump out of bed because we were late for school and work! 🤣 Then I shout to their rooms, "Tia Jigz please get up and no can't watch tv go straight and eat. Brush your teeth and wash your face! (They wash at night) Then the uniform. And my Tia is not someone you can hurry but she is still dilly-dallying and surprised we made it on time! 🙌 I hope your day starts better than mine. But surely I will have a great day ahead. 😊 Big smile, lovely people!

Royal Letter from Princess Elizabeth Here I'm sharing a letter that my Mother-in-law received from the late Queen Elizabeth II (Prince Elizabeth at that time) on her wedding day. Mum's Granny used to work at the Balmoral Castle as a cook. Mum said it was a big parcel stuffed full of goodies. A giant box packed in full! It's only after the war and everything is on ration so receiving such was a blessing. Though I've seen this many times and once shared it, I know this is the best time to show it one last time. Our love and respect for our beloved Queen. Rest in peace, Your Majesty.

Ash Farm Racing Yesterday we went for an hour's drive to Armagh to go to Ash Farm Race Track. My husband loves riding his bike and he's always been racing since he was 7. Now, not young anymore, he takes the notion of riding his bike again and going to a different race track like this to practise. Just to keep him going. It's a dangerous sport that men love because they feel so alive doing so.
