123 All Different Story ***Cold days and freezing early nights. Heating the house is getting too dear. This is the time for a woolly jumper and more layers of clothes. Have to keep our feet warm as well!*** I wasn't active for a couple of days, forgive me. Last week I was doing great and so proud of myself but again been caught up with home matters and you know family is always a priority to me. Good morning lovely people. What a cold morning! And it can only get colder lol so I will be complaining every day about the weather. Oh, have to get a drink. I still got 8 sachets left of this Nescafe Chocoffee so I might as well finish it. And I got a tub of Skyflakes so happy days. It feels like home! Yesterday was terrible for me. I shared it at noise.cash. I was looking for something important which I hide really good because it's important. Now my husbands need it and I couldn't find it. I search highs and lows. All the drawers, cupboards, wardrobes, and bags were everywhere and I couldn't find them! Until now lol. **Why things showed up when you don't need them and can't find them when you're looking for them? And lol while searching I see more missing things that belong to my husband. 🤣** I was already getting upset so I stop the search and make myself a drink. Then it's afternoon I received a call from the college that Jigz need to be collected in school because he had a small accident while at their football game. The ball hit his eye and there was a bloodshot. So I pick him up. He's good just needs rest because he got a blurry vision. Then I pick up Tia after. And she just made me smile when she change her uniform and came out in this outfit. **Mommy, take a picture of me!** Haha, she's so cute in that tartan dress and lol she's my fashionista girl. She can dress better than me. 🤣 And then Mum wants me to do some early Christmas Shopping for Tia and Jigz and have to go to Smyths but my husband has to cut the grass so I wait. And wait. I'm all dressed up (matching tartan dress with Tia) when his friend came and stayed till night and we are not able to go. Oh, men can talk!!! And I'm not happy but calming myself hahaha. Because I have to go to work the next day and still have to clean the mess I made while looking for the important thing that I hide and still couldn't find. Oh, bless me! Now, this is what I really want to share. 😊 This morning on my way to work I saw Tia's teacher at the shopping centre with her baby in the pram. I greet her and say hello to the young one. It's her off today. When I got into the shop I received an email at Seesaw. That's their class app. Mrs Ambrose sends an email regarding what they need tomorrow for class. It's her day off. She's with her child and still working. Just now she passed me. She was on her phone while pushing the pram. She probably answering parents' queries. She's still working and God bless her. God bless all the teachers. My great respect to them! And oh my sister just gave birth to baby Eliaz and I can't wait to see them very soon! I miss home again. ❤ Thank you for reading.

A Happy Spouse, A Happy House **They always say,** **"A happy wife, A happy life".** **Though it's true, we also do not forget that Happiness is not all about us wives.** Good relationships no matter what stage you are on consist of two happy people. Behind every happy wife is a husband who keeps putting a smile on that face. But is the husband getting the same attention? Is he happy as much as his wife is happy? The thing about marriage is you have to keep it going not just love, sex, or money it's everything and in all aspects of life. It's hard work. You bet! But that's the way it is. Equality If we insist on equality then remember that the husband and wife have the same rights and responsibilities. Marriage is 100/100 and not just 50/50, lovely people. It is not giving and taking, it's always giving while continuing to fill all the needs and both of you are celebrating such a relationship. Both of you should be happy and understood. It takes two to tango never gets old A single mother or father is amazing for doing everything to raise their family when it's supposed to be with a helping hand from their spouse. Salute to all single parents! Now in marriage, you expect the couple to be teamwork. One is making the money by putting a roof and food for the family then the other makes use of that money efficiently. Meaning, if the husband works, the wife cooks food and cleans the house. If both of them are working, both of them help whatever and whenever they are needed. It's never just a plain housewife. It never is. A man should appreciate a woman who can stay at home and keep a house for their family. And a woman should appreciate their man for working hard to provide for them. Everyone has a role. And everyone should be acknowledged. I'm a happy wife and I take it as my job to keep my man happy. Because I know how to do that. Are you aware of each other's love language? Make use of that! I'm a happy wife because I have a happy husband. I got treated like a queen and so I'm gonna treat him like a king. It is so important to be appreciated. Let me stress that. Remember both should be happy! Not just you or him. BOTH! Now if you're not happy there's something to talk about between the two of you. Not with the whole clan or social media. Guessing what's wrong and hoping for someone to get that hint sometimes don't work. A heart-to-heart talk does. Be clear. Say what you want and hear each other side. Listening is as important as Talking. Communication is the key. ****Not going to Tulfo. 🤣**** **Thank you for reading.**

My Buzzing Thursday ***It's always a manic Thursday for me because of additional errands after work but today we have more extras added so yeah, I'm super busy!*** I and my husband started our day wrong. Jigz and Tia go to a different schools. We take Jigz first then Tia. The thing this morning as we are completely blank and we went straight to Tia's school and forgot to drop Jigz off. And we were late. And so he was late. Sorry, Jigz! I'm still early for work so I have time to go to the post office and pay our electric bill. While in the queue I was chanting, ***"Arigato Money".*** ***That's Thank You, Money!*** I learned it the Japanese way. Every time we spend money instead of feeling bad about spending money we should be thankful instead. Then I went to Subway to get a salad for my breakfast and then eat at work. I only drink warm water this time as I have no coffee. I love my salad with loads of pickles. My husband doesn't eat pickles. Sad! I had a good day at work. Many customers came looking for a rug today. Then after work, I went straight shopping. I can only go to Asda as we have an appointment at the children's hospital for the kid's immunization. Done my shopping. Husband and Tia arrive now we are going home just to put away the groceries then we are going to lift Jigz and then off to the Children's Hospital. Got sorted by the two lovely nurses. Thank you for your service. Then went to the shop again to continue our shopping. Went first to Lidl's then Home Bargains. And lol these two are professionals. They'll be gone and soon as they come they have something in their hands. Tia even sneaks a packet of sweets lol And look she found her long-lost sister! 🤣 Then back home to cook dinner. My husband wants fry. As you can see he only eats the white of the egg same as Tia. The yolk is out. I eat the yolk! Then jigz wants fried chops with soy sauce and chilli partnered with rice of course. And I cook mussels for me and Tia. She loves it now too! Then while she's reading her school book I'm washing the dishes. And while she's doing her spelling here I am writing my article. Have to multitask. I have to make a snack for tomorrow. Get ready the uniforms. Put the dirty clothes. Turn the heating in the room. And have a rest. How to Use the Dental Disclosing Tablet **Have you heard of this dental disclosing tablet? Coz this is my first time to came across this magical thing.** So yesterday Tia after she came home from school excitedly showed me this toothpaste with a blue tablet wrapped in it. She said the dentist visit them in the class and gave it to them. She sounds very happy about the dentist's visiting them. I was quite busy at that time so I didn't pay attention to the tablet. Tia wants to use the toothpaste right away and I told her not to touch the blue tablet just in case it was something not to be put in her mouth. Then when I had my time I checked it and also received a notification from Tia's teacher regarding the toothpaste and what's that blue tablet and what it was for. *This dental disclosure tablet contains a dye and comes in different colours like red, pink and blue. This tablet will colour the plaque on the teeth which makes the plaque very easy to see and it will let the child know which areas of their teeth need to brush better.* How did we do it? 1. Brush your teeth I let Tia brush her teeth without assisting her. 2. Break the tablet I break the tablet into pieces so it's easy to chew. 3. Chew the tablet, swish, and spit Yes, spit not swallow. 4. It will stain the whole mouth Yes, like the one in my model. 5. Then rinse and keep rinsing It will paint the teeth red and blue And that stain will indicate the plaque. The blue stain is the old plaque and the red/pink stain is the new plaque she missed when brushing her teeth. Then we just use floss and brush it off again until the stains are gone. It's quite fun and we learn something new every day especially me. Tia enjoys the process and is now aware that brushing her teeth thoroughly and sometimes with Mommy assisting her is important. The plaque can be stubborn! I laugh when she said, ***"Yey, my teeth are clean now! Can I have ice cream now, please?" 🤣*** There's really no dull moment with Tia. **And that's how we used that dental disclosing tablet. Have you tried it before? Has your child done this as well?** Thank you for reading. **Check out my recent article.** *Is Your Child Scared of Injection?* https://read.cash/@tired_momma/is-your-child-afraid-of-injection-2fa7ef56 *Tidying Up the Garden with Thumper* https://read.cash/@tired_momma/tidying-up-the-garden-with-thumper-b3013107 *A Visit to Hardy* https://read.cash/@tired_momma/a-visit-to-hardys-0e122cd2 *Wake Up, It's October!* https://read.cash/@tired_momma/wake-up-its-october-03697e91 *Top 5 Best Walks Around Ards* https://read.cash/@tired_momma/top-5-best-walks-around-ards-d1058e20

Is Your Child Afraid of Injection? ***Not young anymore but at my age, I still fear needles. I can't still look at it with a happy heart. And I can understand my children being afraid of shots.*** Jigz and Tia had an appointment yesterday at the Kid's Hospital to get their test done to keep up with their health records. After school, we picked them up and went straight ahead. Words matter I only tell Tia, we will see the Doctor for a test and a pinch in her arm (while pinching her gently). But never worry it only feels as if our cat scratches her then she'll not feel it after. That's what I said. I want to condition her body and mind so she will not be running when she sees the nurse with a needle in her hand. We went to reception and told us to wait in the waiting area. This is more of a warm-up place to take the kid's mind off the injection. Tia and Jigz have been into this place and the same setting many times and I know I cannot fool them, especially Tia. She knows what's going to happen. Children associate needles with pain. The many vaccines they've got and how they made them feel. The pain of every shot traumatized them. They have no *trypanophobia* but a normal fear of needles/injection. Jigz is still afraid of it. He doesn't even want to come. **I know parents that you can relate to this.** *Since they were born they got injected with many vaccines we can no more count on our hands. The list goes on. Those visits to clinics since they were a baby hurts us too when they cry because we know it's sore. It's quite emotional and heartbreaking. We know how they feel.* There they are playing before the exciting part. And as soon as the two lovely ladies called us the mood changed but the nurses know how to break the ice. We had a question and answer portion first. And the time has come and I told Tia, "You're strong. You're brave." She smiled and say yes. Jigz begs the nurse he doesn't want to be first lol and so my brave Tia did. She was hesitant to sit and so I call her to sit on my knee instead. The nurse is okay with that. I'm trying to distract Tia while they taking the needle out but I can see it at the side of my eyes and even I couldn't look at it. Tia accidentally took a peek and saw the needle wants to jump off my lap. The other nurse started asking her question to get her mind off and me holding her right. My hands cover her side face not to see what's going on. And you can see her facial expression when she got the injection. And she started crying out loud after. Didn't take long till she calm herself and a sticker did the job of cheering her up. The nurse draws a cat around the shot. Which I think is good at diverting the shock. And she said, "I can draw a cat too!" And they got a good conversation after. I gave her a high five and told her how brave she was. I don't want her to be scared everytime we go to hospital or clinic. And I don't want them to think that nurses are bad for injecting her and conflicting pain. Jigz takes it like a man and gets over it. He just wants a sticker lol. Then we went to the shop and get Jigz football shoes and new black shoes for school. After one month his shoes need tender loving care. And Tia got new boots that she chose. Everybody is happy. As soon as we get home she ran to Lola to show her arm. And told her that it was sore and that she cried. Lola gave her a big kiss and hug and told her she had done a good job! They will be back on Thursday. Wish them luck! **Is your child afraid of injections too? How do you handle it?** **And I know memories bring back memories of when we got our covid and booster shots. Did you enjoy it? I don't.** 🤣 Thank you for reading.

Tidying Up the Garden with Thumper ***Yesterday was a lovely day. We meant to rest on a Sunday but it's also the day we can do what we're not able to do during weekdays.*** The bottom garden was neglected for a while. The hedge needs cut. And the weeds that we sprayed the last time need to be pulled out. And there are bits and pieces of things we have to get rid of. My husband started cutting the hedge. The greenhouse is no longer used and is filled with different stuff. We use the small greenhouse to plant our tomatoes now as Mum can no longer walk down here. Tia came and help me out. We got the rake for this job! She's trying hard but not easy for her but she keeps going. She really wants to help. Mum is at the house reading her paper while Jigz is at the Leisure Centre with his friends. I told Tia to be careful as there are some nettles about. This can sting like a bee. But if we get stung we just rub the area with ducting leaves and it will be alright. That's the antidote for nettles. And while working, here comes Thumper hopping around where we work and trying to get our attention. Thumper was in his hatch. But he isn't happy and becomes aggressive so I told my husband just let him out. Let him run free in the bottom garden. As long as it's close. But as you know Thumper is too smart and always up to mischief. He always goes out and if neighbours see him, we will never hear the end of it. They think letting him out is making him prone to accidents as he keeps going out of the lane. Though they don't understand that he knows his home and just wants to go out. But I understand them. But I understand that Thumper wants his freedom too. He is happy now with his dirty paws. This is his favourite hiding place. And his food and water are still on the hatch and so he goes there to eat fresh carrots as well. He loves eating the grass too! Even when Tia is having a rest, Thumper is playful and still seeking attention. And so Tia has to get up and start the chase. Sometimes he allows Tia to stroke him and then runs lol. And they ran round and round the garden. Tia never wins. Thumper is too fast! And they get both tired. Tia went up the house to drink and Thumper to his favourite place and sleep. I just hope he can run fast if the fox comes! Keep my Thumper safe. And that's our Sunday. Now it's raining again. And I'm cleaning the kid's room. It's my day off. I will change their bed sheet. Thank you for reading!

A Visit to Hardy's Just down the lane, we have a shop called Hardy's. It's a big enough shop that sells hardware, DIY and a general store. It's one of my husband's favourite shops when he needs anything with his tools and electrical stuff. I love their seasonal displays. And since it's nearly Halloween, the display is on. This is where we get our Halloween stuff. Mostly all the big ones we have. I'm not really should be here if only I saw my husband starting the car and I ran outside asking, *"Where are you going?"* *And lol he said, "I'm just going down the street!"* *I didn't wait for him to finish and just get in the car.* He said he just need screws at Hardy's. And now we're going to check what new things they have here while inside. But beforehand, I told my husband that we are not going to get any more Halloween displays coz there were enough and I will not know where to put them the next time. All our sheds are full. There are many people in the shop. Everyone loves to come here especially the children to see the display and some screaming and crying but lol they get used to it. Presenting.. The Halloween Stars! And lol you're not coming to our house. Mum will not be impressed. And I will not be able to sleep knowing you're inside. I never liked this Joker. Maybe because since when I was young they always scared us with you. And all the horror films that portray you as evil. But you really look creepy. Oh, we already got you Granny Witch and you don't look too bad now. Tia called you, Granny as well, one day she borrows your hat and I ask Mum if she wants to borrow your stick lol. And this bat, my husband said "That's nice!" I said, "No, it's not." This Pumpkin Monster doesn't look really happy. What's wrong, son? And this. Excuse me, what are you portraying? Are you the joker's cousin? Oh, you look creepy as well! Tia will not be happy to see you. And lol look what I bring home with me? Yes, it's the bat! Hahaha. Mum said, bring it back to the shop, that's awful looking. 🤣 Thank you for reading. ❤ I'm looking forward now to the Christmas display. I hope these do not stop you from sleeping well tonight. And I know there's one or two that you not really appreciate being in your house even if it's Halloween. Oh, love you all!

Wake Up, It's October! **Happy 1st of October, lovely people! And here we go again with a brand new month. I'm thrilled to read about your achievements from last month and your goals for this month.** It's Saturday today and it's my day off. That means I'm not working at the shop and getting paid but at the house to do my Momma's job paid with kisses and hug. It's cleaning time, baby! But you know what, the first thing that always comes to my mind when it comes to October is my youngest brother's birthday! He's in Japan right now and the first time that he will not celebrate with our family with him. I'm sure he missed the "barik". That's when they get together and have a good drink. So he brings our Filipino tradition to Japan. And ask his teacher if they can have spaghetti and fried chicken for his birthday. And lol he made it! I'm glad he will not miss the spaghetti and fried chicken. Lol. God bless him! Moving on I'm typing while sitting on top of my mountain of clothes. The season has changed. Summer is over and we're in Autumn now which feels like winter already. So I have to sort my wardrobe and put back all my warm clothes. More layering this season! Keep me warm. And that's just starting from mine and I have them wardrobes to do as well. So it's gonna be fun! Haha, fun? No, it's not. And since it's the first of October, my friends that are lying here at the shed for so long patiently waiting are officially coming out because it's their time to shine! There you go I get back sorting my clothes and I will have my time to read more articles after. I have more time today, yey! *How's your Saturday?* *What are you up to?* Thank you for reading.

Top 5 Best Walks Around Ards ***I never like walking. I complain about any short distance walk. Then my husband encouraged me to walk and now we are walking whenever we are available. Most of the time at night when the kids are off to bed.*** The night walk is the best for me. It's getting dark early now. The clock will change again. Love the summer when the sky is clear until 11 pm. Now it gets dark by 8 pm. Next time it will be dark by 5 pm. I love the night sky and the empty street. Just us and the street lights. It feels so magical, feels like we're on our walking date. More romantic. My husband got me a headlight and I'm very proud while wearing it in the dark parts of our walk. At night time we walk around our town, walking at least 5-6 kilometres. Then when we have more time, any time of the day we go to different places. We explore plenty of walking routes and trails from ancient woods to dramatic clifftops. It's always an exciting one! **Here are my top 5 best country walks near us that we enjoy the most.** 1. Scrabo Country Park and Quarry Walk Walking with nature and just the view up the top of the Scrabo is breathtaking. It's all green. Plants and trees are everywhere. Ferns are one of the oldest plants on earth. It's *Stegosaurus and triceratops favourites!* For the first time after so many walks, we went on different routes and were surprised by the quarries. The Scrabo Tower is made from these stones from this Quarry. Also, the Newtownards Townhall is made from Scrabo stones. Now it's home to different species of birds. *This is the perfect place for walking although some steep inclines that we should be careful about. Good that there are seatings available at different viewpoints. Lovely scenery. Everyone enjoys this place and the dogs of course.* 2. Walk Way to Helen's Tower We started walking here at 8 pm. There are lots of cyclists around even at that time. Some are on their race, they are flying. It's wet and muddy at that time but if you appreciate nature and just enjoy the walk, it's pleasurable. I love this lake. A little bit dramatic at that time. A short walk, not even an hour till we reach the tower. ***Helen's Tower is a 19th-century folly and lookout built by the 5th Lord Dufferin and Claneboye and named for his mother, Helen.*** Good for a relaxing short walk. 3. Crawfordsburn Country Park This is one good walk up to Helen's Bay which is perfect for walking and dog walkers like this area. It's peaceful and relaxing just look at that oceanfront park. They also have a visitor centre and cafe. There's this big distinctive mansion that I always admire. 4. Bangor, Marina Another lovely place perfect for walking. A very picturesque easy walk. You enjoy walking while adoring the sea and the surroundings. At the end of our walk, we saw a Pickie Fun Park that the kids will surely wish to go to! And lol these huge swan boats I told my husband I want to try it with the kids next time. 5. Newtownards Tide Bank Walk and Flood Bank Path This is our favourite of all the places as it's a good long walk. You can see the Scrabo Tower in the background. Look how proud it is standing. The Strangford Lough and some interesting ruins are about the place. Something to do during the war. People used to hide in here. That's a good nearly 5 miles walk more than 10,000 steps. And needless to say, we enjoy our walking. And that's my top 5 walks around our place. It's not just the walk but how I enjoy walking in these lovely places. My husband always says, *"Dear, we're walking, not photo shooting."* Also him, *"Stand there and I'll take a picture of you."* 🤣 And it's good that I know that we are safe. We don't have snakes here in Northern Ireland no matter where you go. **There are more places to explore. Until next time!**

Unplanned Sunday Surprises Hello, lovely people! Happy Sunday night. How's your Sunday been? Let me share mine. Yesterday I got my covid booster shot and the nurse told me anyway that my arms will be sore and feel under the weather for a couple of days and that's how I really felt today. Plus the menstrual cramp is adding up to my misery. But I have loads to do so I have to work it out even just using the right arm but as long as I don't put pressure on the left it's still okay. Then I took the pain reliever to help me out with my cramps. I need to finish my house chores. And believe it or not, after 3 nights, my clothes are now folded and put away. I clean all the windows and window sills. I've done my cleaning and scrubbing and here's a good one, when I check Tia's bag I saw her revision notebook and I'm so happy to see how she get on from Friday's exam. Who will not be delighted to see their child doing well at school? Especially knowing that Tia works hard for it. She forgot to show me this but this deserves a reward! Aside from congratulating her, and praising her for doing well at her revision, I told her that I'm gonna take them to the cinema today. So I book for a movie that Tia choose. Jigz doing well at school too getting merit marks and helping me and her Lola all the time. They both deserve a reward. We always acknowledge their achievement, big or small. Daddy took us to the cinema but we have to take the bus to go home because he's working. That's exciting as this will be Tia's first time taking a bus here in Comber. Her first time if you can remember is at Devon. After scanning our barcode ticket we ordered our snack. We had nachos with cheese this time. I love their nachos. And mind you, our snack cost more than our ticket! 🤣 There they are. The movie is great for kids. They had a good laugh and enjoy it. The movie finishes and we're happy to go home. The bus is not in an hour so we still have time to do something. The shopping centre will close soon so there's no point in going in there. Normally on Sunday shops are only open from 1-5 pm. We decided we just walk to the bus station. Then we see Caffe Nero not far away so we get in and get something to drink. We just order strawberry and chocolate milkshakes. Jigz wants the Belgian Brownie and Tia the salted caramel and Pistachio chouxnut. Tia didn't like it but I did. After having their quick snack we walk about the street and to the town hall. There are so many pigeons here and lol they keep running about to chase them! Then off we go back to the station and wait for the bus to come. And here they are on the bus! Tia is so happy, it was her first time and she said it feels like she was on holiday again lol. We sat up at the double-decker bus so the kids can see the street better! And that's us ready to tell Lola how's our day out had been. Lola was very pleased to know we had a great day. I hope you had a tremendous Sunday as well! ❤❤❤ Thank you for reading.

Tiring Thursday **Dear Friday, I'm tired from Thursday and I am very happy that it is your day. It means tonight I can rest and I don't need to get up early for tomorrow.** Oh my back, it hurts! Yesterday I lift more than 50 carpets. I unwrapped and roll it twice and then put it on display aside from the customers I assisted. And yesterday most of them wants the 8×5 Shaggy Rug up on the rail and putting them down used up my energy. Oh, I'm strong! I don't need to go to the gym. I'm fit they always say but lol my body is sometimes in Super Saiyan mode x 100. I went straight to the massage chair after my shift. Then, I went shopping. It's Thursday it's shopping day. From our £80 a week now it's £120. Everything went up. Even a block of butter now costs a freaking fiver! Then I laugh coz we went to the same shop twice just to get cat food. And even before we get the cat food we pass these plants as if it's calling us, "Take me home". And lol, there you go. Even saw this massage seat cover that I've never seen before and don't know how it's gonna work. But not today, thank you. Then we have to go home as there's someone in the house to help my husband put the ramp that he got. So we have to continue the shopping after they finish. Good, I can cook and do some homework with the kids. Then we attended the school Curriculum Evening Meeting (7:30-8:30) to meet Tia's teachers and they were discussing what are they doing in school and all those subjects for the whole term. Then went shopping again. It's nearly Halloween time and we just got the kid's costume while it's here. So I got these 2 for Jigz and Tia. I get the bigger size so it will do till next year. Tia excitedly tried her on as soon as we come home. But she's not impressed with the clown costume that we get for Jigz. Jigz doesn't want to try his one yet as he's watching his program. We love Halloween. Do you remember them? Lol, they will be out soon from the shed. Remember how Tia jump back after seeing the butler for the first time and realized that there was sweet on the tray? There's the Gang! And then got home and put the washing on. Jiggivesve me a hand reading the school book with Tia as I'm trying to do bits and pieces. I enjoy listening to them and even took this lovely moment. I'm very proud of these two! And then I prepare their snack and uniform. Get the clothes from the dryer and set them on the couch but it was late at night and no more energy until now it's in there so the clothes can maybe wait till tomorrow. 🤣 Friday, go easy on me. Saturday, I'm ready for you! **How's your Thursday? Are you glad about Friday? Are you looking forward to Saturday?** Thank you for reading. ❤❤❤

She's Not Just Broken-Hearted **Have someone broken your heart really bad that you think you won't be able to live the next day? Have you ever dealt with betrayal? Have you been cheated before?** We all wonder why she loses so much weight. Her eyes don't twinkle anymore. She got no energy to spare. We thought it was because her Mom just passed away last year that she's still coping. But little did we know she's going through more added pain than losing a mother. She posted a picture of her with the kids on Facebook telling them that they still got each other. She got two young girls. And she posted a throwback picture of her looking so gorgeous with a caption, *"I'll bring you back, self."* I know that line. I've said it before. I've been there before. Something is going on and thanks to my sister for sharing what's the reason behind it. Her partner (not married) got a new woman behind her back. And she find it out when the woman posted a video of them together. And upon her asking the woman she said, *"He told me that you are already separated."* And yes, they have never separated only the man works far and doesn't live with them. And she didn't know that they are separated if that's the case. It hurts. Just knowing that, it hurts. When you've been through such pain you know how it feels and you feel what other feels and she's our family so it hurts even more. She just lost her Mom. Now her partner. The father of her children. She's not just brokenhearted. Now she has a broken family. Now she questions herself day and night about what's wrong with her. And I'm sure she blames herself for that. She loves too much, who woman doesn't? *But how to fight for a man who doesn't want to choose you and your family? Who never thinks of the kids? And I know they are not married and he is free. But not as a father.* *****And no matter how you interchange the word 'betrayal', it won't be okay.***** *****Cheating is not okay no matter what stage of the relationship you are on.***** I know she's strong. I know she will make it. I know she will heal herself. We are warriors. And one day she will love again and will never hurt like before. I wish her all the best, a big hug and prayers to God that her tears will stop flowing in her eyes and her face will be filled with smiles again. **In time.** It's trending in the news about the alleged cheating of **Adam Levine on her Victoria's Secret Angel wife Behati Prinsloo** after the model, Sumner Stroh shared it on social media. Even thought of naming their 3rd child after the mistress is just unforgivable. I wish it was not true. Who really knows if it is or not, but it's possible. *Just like others would say, you could be a Victoria's Secret Angel, have a beautiful face and sexy body, have plenty of money or independent, have a good character and attitude, gave your husband beautiful children and still, it won't be enough.* Men, I don't know what to say to you but be a man. Be man enough not to hurt the one who loves you so much. Protect your family at all costs. If you choose to break her heart I hope you had a good reason for doing so. If there is. **And women, if your heart gets broken, if your trust is gone in vain..** **Held your head up. Cry. Cry your heart out but remember that it's not the end. That's not your happy ending. Until you are not happy that's not the end.** Big power hug to all the strong women just like you and me! 💪 And cheers to all the man who knows how to be one! ❤❤❤

Holiday Monday: The Queen and I Today is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral thus announced as a national bank holiday. Mostly everyone is off work and most shops if not all are closed. I get up early in the morning as I have loads of washing to do and also to prepare the things the kids need for tomorrow. After that, I had a coffee and sit with Mum in the kitchen and watch the beloved Queen's funeral. Mum told me how lovely their family was as Mum's Granny was a cook at the Balmoral Castle. And that even though her Granny stopped working, the royal family never forget to send them a card for Christmas. Even when Mum get married, the Queen sent her a letter and presents. A box packed full! As such features Mum never forgets. Look how old this letter is! While folding clothes I went to the caravan and the luggage from our last holiday months ago is waving at me. So I started sorting them out. I laugh when I see this. Do you also take this with you when you check out from your holiday? It's not me but Tia this time put this on the luggage because she said she likes it because they are small. I used to take every freebie lol because why not? I paid for it! Oh, I love the slippers. But never did I take towels hahaha. We got plenty here and too bulky if ever. And when I finish sorting the luggage I went to the house and get ready for their uniform I was about to brush Tia's shoes when she came and ask me if she can do it. What a music to my ears! And there she is working hard to shine her shoes. She said she will do it every day so I don't have to do it. That's very nice and sweet of you Tia. She's on the swing now. And Jigz is away with his friends in the park. He will do his later as he is a big boy now. How's your Monday? ❤❤❤

When I Grow Up, Can I Do Whatever I Want? **Have you once wished to get older quickly when you were young? Do you have your hopes and dreams that life will be better for you when you're older?** Then Poof! You're old! And poof! Surprised! We all have our own stories and life experiences. And there are some that stick to our minds. Like when I was little, I always question God why my Mama and Papa keep fighting all the time. Why does my Papa keep drinking? And why my mother never shuts up, day and night. Like why they don't just go separate ways? And so I say to myself, I hope I grow up quickly and so I can get out of our house, make money and spend it. And as time pass by so quick I realized that life isn't easy as I thought. *I realized that waiting for my father to bring us food to eat is easier than me going to work and buying my own food.* *That is easier to live in my parent's house for free than me getting a room to rent because that's all I can afford.* *That getting old is being responsible for your own self.* *And being old enough is to be independent.* *That growing up means my parents will no longer hold my hands while walking and pick me up if I fall.* *That I have to walk alone sometimes. That I have to walk the path I chose. And whether I fall or get bruised I have to get up and help myself heal. It's now all about me surviving alone.* I used to cry for the things that my parents are not able to give me. I used to get jealous of other kids having things I wish I have. Then there's me now, still envying people and crying over things I don't get or can't have. But this time not because of my parents but because of me. But okay, there's no regret now. Though I still regret wishing on the genie that I grow up fast. I wish I was prepared. I wish I knew that life isn't just sweet and that making money means working from your sweat. And there, I got my own family. And yes I know now why couples fight. And yes I know now how hard life is. And I know now that it's not easy. For some days I also want to drink. And many days I can't shut up my mouth. And yes the reason why you have to stick with each other despite all the misunderstood and fights. And yes I am in my parents' shoes now. And now I understand why they are always tired and why money is important. Money doesn't grow in trees, now I understand. Now I know that I can grow up but I will not be able to do whatever I want. Not all. That things isn't free. And some things are illegal. That you can't just dream and do nothing. And that even when you're old you still have to do as you are told. So if you're still young, let me give you a piece of advice. Enjoy the moment, don't rush growing up. Enjoy the sweets and the band-aids. If you have young kids make the most of their time. As time goes by so quick, next time the little baby in your arms will start walking and next time it will be at the altar. Tia ask me yesterday, **"Mommy, can I do whatever I want when I grow up?"** Of course, my love is all I said. I let life surprise her and I want her to chase her dreams and fly high. But for now, I must prepare my kid's wings. I shall give them all the love, kisses and hugs. And let them know that Mommy is forever by their side. **Don't grow up too fast.** ❤❤❤

Is It a Bad Word, Mommy? **Do you curse in front of your child? Are there times that your child accidentally hears some inappropriate words? Are your kids prone to hearing such words in your place?** Kids are sponges, they can just absorb any words they hear and curiously say them. New words always interest them the most. Now, without explaining to them that those words aren't good, you could be in trouble. It's not really good to hear children swearing. Though it sounds funny, ****no it's not.**** Jigz knows by now and was thought at an early stage that swearing is bad. Though he might hear it he knows that he shouldn't say it. While Tia because she's young and innocent not know really what bad words are. I will never forget the first swear words Tia said. We are in a taxi on our way to Pattaya in Thailand after a long journey from Northern Ireland when Chloe suddenly blurted, ***"Oh shit!"*** That's after spilling her drinks all over her dress. The next time, the taxi suddenly stopped. Tia out of the blue exclaimed, ***"Oh, shit!"*** And everyone laughs. And lol I can't stop but I did as well. And Tia laughs. But that's wrong. Since we are laughing she will th*ink* that that's a happy good word to say. I try to get serious and tell Tia, that that's not a nice word to say. That's a bad word. And Chloe told her that "She's old already so she's allowed". But still not a good one. Even ask us if she can say it if she gets older. I told her, No. And ask me why? And it goes on and on. She was only 3 at that time and now that she's 6, every time that she hears a different word that she isn't sure is bad, she will ask me, **"Mommy is that a bad word?"** One time Mum is watching tv at the house and she really gets mad as it's about the child dying at the hands of his father's gf and even the Dad doesn't care about him. And Mum is raging, she shouted, ***"F*cking B*stard you!"*** And Tia was on her way up the house when she heard it and she thought Mum is talking to her and she said, *"I'm not a bastard, Lola!"* Then Mum apologized to her and that's for the man on the tv she's talking about and that is not a good word to say. Mum explained to her why she said that and Tia remind her, not to say it again. She heard Daddy talking on the phone and he said the F* word. And Tia comes to me. *"Mommy, mommy! Daddy says a bad word!"* And when I ask what word is it he said, It starts with 'F' and she tries to sound the F (ffff) but not the whole word because that's a bad word and she's not allowed to say bad words. Mommy, you say it. It's okay, you're a big girl you can say that word. "Ffff ffff" Oh*,* she's a laugh! 🤣 She even asks one time, **"Mommy, can I say a bad word, just ONE?"** And she said, **"Oh shoot!"** Haha, I said that's okay that one. And the other which I love the most, **"Oh***,* **my piggy heart!"** *I know I can't stop her from hearing and being exposed to swear words. It's everywhere and I can say some too. But as a parent, we should guide our children and should explain that there are words that are bad to say. We just have to be honest and not overreact. Address it calmly in the way your toddler should understand. We can find new words to use instead.* Do you have any set of story words with your kids? Or any experience with swear words with young ones? Would love to hear it! Thank you for reading.

Just Another Magic Monday **What a lovely day today! The sun is shining brightly in the beautiful blue sky. I took a day off and the kids are off to school this morning.** Oh, I almost jump for joy when they are gone! Lol. I mean, I can clean in peace now. But no, while making up the bed I felt like it was seducing me and I give in and lay down and fall asleep. Hahaha When I get up I started my cleaning. While cleaning, I received a call from the school that Jigz is not well so we have to collect him. His throwing up. So his Da picked him up and he told me that isn't feeling good and also his mouth ulcer made him feel uncomfortable. Tia is also under the weather and complained about her throat before she went to school. I told her I'm getting her oranges after work. Mum also ask me to get her Paracetamol and Ibuprofen in the Chemist as her head is sore. Aside from the sore feet because believe it or not she just ripped off her toenails because she said it's annoying her. So after work, I went to the Chemist. And got these. That Benzydamine is really good when something is wrong with our mouth like a sore throat or mouth ulcer. It numbs it too! After going to the chemist I went to the shop to buy some fruits and for dinner, I will make vegetable soup. The best medicine to eat. And they need more vitamin C! I gave Jigz paracetamol and told him to use Benzydamine mouthwash to help his mouth feel better. Then I told him to rest and he did. Then we went to Bangor to check out the ramp that my husband bought. We still have time before we pick up Tia so we went to get some fish and chips. After having our grub, we went to the Marina and had a walk. When we get Tia, I ask how she was feeling and she said she was okay. I ask what did she do in school and she said, **"I play and eat!"** Oh, that sounds good. Maybe Mommy can go to school too so I can play and eat. But Tia said I'm too big! Other than playing and eating she can't remember anything that she did in school. Or should I say she doesn't want to? But she can tell you long stories out of the blue whether you like it or not you have to listen but she will tell you she doesn't remember what she did in school and that's the end of it. After dinner and washing their uniforms. We did homework. Jigz is already out on the swing so I'm taking that he's feeling better than he was. Tia has done her new week's Spelling and Math. Aside from that, there's a small brown paper bag with a note saying: And even if it's for Friday, Tia has done it already. Look how she decorates her bag with a lovely picture of her in the middle with a balloon heart. And as per the 4 objects, she already got 3. These she chooses herself: **Pink Colouring Pen** - because she loves to draw and her favourite colour is pink **Mirror** - because she loves looking at herself and saying "I'm beautiful!" **Minecraft toy** - because she loves playing Minecraft and building houses, fighting zombies and playing with her online friends. (I know nothing about it.) And the 4th one will be a plane because she loves travelling and she travels since she was a baby and has been to 5 countries so far. We don't have any plane in the house so I'll get her one. Jigz ready his things for tomorrow. I have to run to the shop to get him goggles for his swimming lesson. And he said, **"Mommy magic, I'm okay now!"** That's really good. Thanks for the magic! And off we walk again. And that's how our Monday went. Oh, I still have to make their snacks for tomorrow. Let me publish this first. ***How about you? How's your Monday?*** Thank you for reading.

What Type of Customer Are You? **Working in sales means meeting different customers with different personalities. Some are nice, some are just cool and there are some terrible customers too.** Shop assistants should have the skill of dealing with different kinds of customers. Genuine interaction, a smile, and a proper approach are crucial in customer service. Here are some of the customers that I deal with at my work. See which one are you. **The Buyers** One thing I learned working at the carpet shop is if a customer needs it, you don't need to do sales talk. You just have to assist if he/she asks for your opinion or your help. Usually, they know what they want. They are on a mission to get something. But unlike at our shop, there are too many choices and your job is to help them decide. It's always a pleasure for me to help and I don't care about rolling 5 rugs if I know that customer is going to buy them. **The Browsers/Lookers** We call this back home as window shoppers. They will not buy anything, they just want to look around. And there's nothing wrong with it as we love window shopping especially me. Some lookers when they see something out of the blue turn out to buy it especially when I add some sales talk. Some Lookers are like this. There are instances when you just greet them, *"Hiya!"* or *"Good morning."* and their initial response is, **"I'm just looking!"** Wrong Answer! ❌❌❌ I just greet you. With all honesty sometimes I just want to say, *"I'm just greeting you."* Like it's part of my job to greet my customer and try to interact. Is it hard to just say, "Hello, there!" Or just smile at me? But it's part of my job to deal with every customer so smile and move on. When this happens I just let them browse and keep looking. **The Researchers** These are the customers that are looking for inspiration and ideas. They are the ones who are getting new furniture or planning on redecorating so they're getting ideas of what colour to get that can easily match with. They are not going to buy now but they will likely be your future customer. I love to be of help and most of the time even though I know that they are not buying yet. It's always my pleasure to show different colours and patterns that they might be interested in. I give them helpful suggestions as well. **The Loyal Customers** I've got so many loyal customers. Most of them wave at me every time they pass me at the shop. They are the ones who get rugs more than enough. I have a customer that changes rugs every month. A customer that will get any new big carpets when it's green. They are the customers that keep coming back and refer you to his/her friends. **The Bargain Hunters** Oh, that's me. We love "**Sale**". And who wouldn't want to save money? At the shop, we always got a Sale section. Most are half the price. I don't think people are Cheap Charlie when they look for bargains. I think they are the smart ones! I love customers when they are straight to the point and asked me for cheaper rugs. I know it's getting tough now and rugs are not a necessity so when I saw customers looking for the ones in front which are on sale I always point out that there are more on the other side for the same price. For example, our 6× 4 carpets are ranging from £40 - £65 and the ones on Sale are only £25 and most of them are really a good bargain! **The Moaners** These are the customer that goes into the shop and will start whinging about the price of the rugs and their quality of them. They are also the ones who will proudly share their latest buy from another shop that is according to her, better than this shop. And I met a few. And I just say Thank You before they live. **The Indecisive** These are the customers that will challenge your patience. These are the ones who say they going to buy something, who needs something and you assist them, roll everything to them, if the heavy ones off the rail and at the end, they will say, ***" I can't make up my mind. I'll be back again".*** (It's your 2nd time around or maybe 3rd this week, love until now you can't make up your mind.) ***"Is it okay if I just take a picture and show it to my husband, see what he thinks?"*** (Honey, believe me, your husband will only say, "It's up to you, whatever you think.") ***"I'm not sure of the size. I should measure it first."*** (After I roll all these 8× 5 rugs that you are sure off, you telling me that you should measure it first? Why you didn't measure it first before coming here?) Hahaha and no I don't say those. I keep it to myself. Because no matter what I got paid to do my job and this is part of it. Customer is not always right but I always value them. And I understand people. ❤ These are just some of the customers I met at work. Sometimes I have to know when to greet or when to approach. And the best question that I couldn't go wrong is when I give them a big smile and ask them, "Are you looking for inspiration?" And from their response, I should know what to do. So which customer are you? Thank you for reading.

What Entertains Me at Work **Hello, lovely people! Happy Thursday to you and I hope you're having a wonderful day.** You must all know by now that I'm working at a carpet shop. It's a job that I enjoy and that working here I don't need to go to the gym as lifting heavy mats is part of my duty. I love it. I love the fact that I have a job and make my own money and help out with rising expenses at home. I love the fact that I can go out of the house and still do my Momma/wife's responsibility. I love my work and I enjoy it coz I've good Bosses who treat me well. And the customers coming in and out of the shops are mostly lovely people to meet. Not all but most of them. I meet new people every day. Some customers are such a blessing and some are very challenging to deal with. It's a joy to have customers leave with lovely remarks that make me feel so good. And some I just have to breathe deep. But the overall experience, I have a great time with them. And here is the list of what entertained me at work: **1. Couples that don't agree on which carpet to get** Oh, I enjoy listening to couples' arguments on which carpet to get. The other one wants the other which the other one doesn't like. And guess who wins? Women, of course. Because we are the one who has to clean the thing when it's dirty. But the men still have to pay. 2. Husband complaining about how long it takes for the wife to pick a rug Oh, typical. Lol. You know when men shop here, most of the time they just look at it and will tell me, "I'll get this one, please." I don't need to roll it out for him to see. He knows already what he wants. Women? 🤣 Oh I have to laugh. They have to roll every single rug and check out every design there is and will still not know what they want. And the man comes to the rescue and will say, **"Just get this one!"** Easy peasy! 3. Young people who appreciate traditional rugs I love traditional rugs. It's all traditional rugs at our house. But the young ones or even about in their 40s would always say, *"That's for the old, I don't like that".* But traditional rugs never get out of style. We all have our tastes and we respect each other opinions about design or patterns. That's part of my job. So when young ones, I mean like in their 20s-30s come looking for a rug and appreciate traditional rug I felt so proud of them. Coz mostly they go for the new trends which is this one. 4. Grannies buying kids mats for their grandchild The sweetest ever! A girl always goes for anything fluffy and pink, a rainbow with hearts or the crowd's favourite, a unicorn rug! While boys go for rockets or the interactive mat where they can play with their cars. 5. Old couple holding hands while walking while looking for rugs Just yesterday an old couple come into the shop holding hands while walking and after they choose a rug I told the lovely man, *" You can hold hands again".* **And they both laugh and the man said,** **"It only looks sweet and romantic but this is the best way to stop her spending."** Hahaha, there's the tip for you guys! 6. A man who insists to pay even his wife already got the money Oh, you gotta love this kind of man! Some might say because he is the husband so naturally he has to pay but no. He's the real man! 7. People who come in just to smell the rugs Young and old come to the shop and just say, "Oh, I love the smell of rugs!" So I say, you should work here lol. 8. Wife asking the husband what he thinks of the rug that she chooses Asking for a husband's opinion always have the same response from men based on my experience. These are always what they reply to the wife, "Up to you." "That's nice." "It doesn't really matter what I think, it's what you think." The latter is the most genuine answer of them all. 🤣 9. A customer that knows exactly what he/she wants Nothing is hard than selling something to a customer who doesn't know what he/she likes so I ended up rolling all patterns and designs and ending up with, *"I can't make up my mind. I'll come back again."* And yes I never see them again after. 🤣 10. And when people come just to read what's written on this kid's tractor mat I just love how this tractor mat gets all the attention. I love when kids come running while shouting, "Tractor! Tractor!" And the adult keeps reading it when passing is music to my ears. This keeps me entertained on a quiet day. ***And that's what I love about my workplace. Which customer are you?*** Thank you for reading!

Before Monday Ends **I love Mondays. I'm always excited about a new week. I always anticipate a great week ahead. I wish that is always true but 'NO'. If Monday is on the menu, can I have Sunday, please?** But lol does it matter what day it is? For a mother like me, every day is all the same. I can't be relaxing whenever and wherever I want to. Oh, I can. But I can't. I think I complain enough. ***Being a parent is all about being tired, telling people how tired you are and listening to other parents tell you how tired they are.*** Funny but is true. It is true but it's fun though. I'm happy and grateful for my life and trying to be the best of myself whenever I can. Though I must admit I can't be always nice. Today, Tia and Jigz aren't listening to me and from a calm voice, I end up shouting. And here's Tia come to me and said: *"Mommy, deep breathe." (with illustration)* *"Are you mad at us, Mommy?"* *Me: Yes. Because you and Jigz not listening to me.* *Tia: You should be nice all the time. But it's okay I still love you!* And she hugs and gives me kisses. Tia is just a sweetheart and a good teacher to Mommy. Jigz says sorry and we all do the homework. Yes, I'm back on homework time with Tia. And there are no tired hands or crying eyes tonight. I got everything sorted by 8 pm only the snack box to do but I have to go to the shop as I run out of bread. I put them to bed and my husband ask if we can have our walk tonight and since we are going to the shop I told him we can also have our walk. Saturday and Sunday we didn't walk at night because I'm not just able to as I'm flat out, I'm too tired this weekend doing house chores. And so weekdays we try to get back on track. After getting what I need at the shop we started walking at 10 past 9. We park in front of the Newtownards Town Hall. I'm excited to see this lit up in December. Then we just walk around the town for at least an hour. The street is not busy but there are some dog walkers about. I took a shot at this church because I just love the architectural design of most of the churches here in the UK. But my dream is to see the one in Barcelona. We are having a good walk while talking about different stuff. We are nearly finished when I saw this Japanese restaurant and all I can think is the food. Ramen!!! I told myself I'm working on Sunday and I have to take the bus and I have an hour of waiting time so I will treat myself. Not tonight. I just burn some calories. It's a crime to fill it up again. And I will end this with a great "Note" on the street wall. Yes, my dear, ***"YOU'RE LOOKING GOOD TODAY!"*** Have a lovely Tuesday. Have a good night. Thank you for reading.

Tia Love Rowan ***Once upon a time, there was a small girl called Tia, age 6 who was so excited to get back into school to see her friends and most especially her boyfriend, Rowan.*** But Rowan doesn't know that she's Tia's boyfriend. Only Tia knows. But she insists that he does. On Tuesday night he wrote him a lovely card with all the hearts and with a note, **"Rowan Love Tia."** Mommy is not allowed to touch it because it's not for Mommy. Not even allowed to take a photo of it. But Mommy helps her spell out what she wants to write. And last night Tia come home excitedly to show this writing from Rowan with a cute picture of them. She said, **"Rowan gave this to me!"** (With a big big smile) *And lol we can't help but laugh. And the wind changed when Tia said we're just friends. Because I'm still a kid. I'm only 6 you know?* *But I will marry him when I grow up. Mind you, she had already drawn her wedding gown. 🤣* At what age did you remember having a crush? Did you even start as young as them? Well, we all know that that's just children's thing they know nothing about love. And at this stage, it's just cute. That's them together last December at school. And on their Sports Day last year. She's even sick that day but lol look! All smile at Rowan. 😁 Haha, I just want to make you smile by sharing this. Though it might hurt the fact that some are still singles and these young ones already exchanging love letters. Thank you as always for reading. ❤❤❤

Momma's Day Out ***For the first time, I'm able to run away from them all lol. Today I had an unexpected trip to Belfast.*** It all started because I want to drink milk tea. I want Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea and I know that is the only place that has it. I have to take the bus. My husband, Tia and Jigz are all sleeping only me and Mum are awake so I told Mum I'm going out to Ards. It's near work so I'm familiar with the place. At the bus station, I change my mind when I saw a bus coming going to Belfast. I've never been to Belfast on a bus and I was never alone. So this will be fun! Getting lost is my specialty. So I sit beside a young man who's the face I can trust. And I started chatting and he thought me how to easily go to Belfast any streets there and where I should get off the bus and what and where the bus to take going back to Comber. For that 30 minutes+ journeys I get to know his full name, address, how many dogs and cats they have, his school, and his course and we're now friends on Facebook. He is very nice as he showed me the town centre before he left me to meet his friends. Very good young lad! If there's the Leaning Tower of Pisa, here in Belfast we have the Leaning Albert Memorial Clock! And here I am, getting my milk tea, I ordered Brown Sugar Pearls and I added pudding. I love pudding! But I ordered wrong, I should have asked for the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and then add pearls and pudding but it was good too so I'm okay with that. Then I started window shopping. I have no plans of buying anything and there's nothing that jumps at me screaming "Buy Me!" I'm glad, coz Momma is broke anyway. Here's what I see that you should see too. This is the River Lagan. Queen's Bridge The 10-metre-long Salmon of Knowledge mosaic ceramic sculpture The female figure metal sculpture That's the highlight of my short trip. I didn't take long and didn't stay long. I had a hard time looking for the Laganside BusCentre I keep going round and round only to find out that I'm already there lol. Glad I asked the security guard and he showed me how to get inside the posh station. And there I had another conversation with one of the lovely staff who started with the convo with: *"Have I met you before? You are Mexican, right?"* Oh, we had a long chat and he doesn't live far from our place. This day, I talk more than anything else lol. Seriously, it's so boring walking alone. I will not do this again. It's so much fun with my husband and the kids whenever we're in Belfast. At that time I felt like a lonely tourist walking by. And on my way home while having the top of the double-decker bus all to myself we pass this Sightseeing Red Bus in Belfast. That would be my next mission. 😁 Thank you for reading. I wonder how your Monday has been? 😊

How Much is Your Happiness Worth **Today, I bought happiness for 20 pence.** It's the end of the weekday and my battery is running low. This is Jigz's first day in High School wearing his school uniform. We get up early today while I sleep late last night preparing everything for school aside from the normal chores. I'm quite emotional while taking this picture. My boy is now a young man. I'm very proud. Tia will be next week. She is excited as well. I went to work 40 minutes earlier this morning. I came to work at 8:50 though I don't start by 9:30. It's so my husband doesn't come back and forth taking Jigz to school, going back home to lift me to work. I can feel my exhausted body. I can't smile. You know you are not you when you can't smile even if it's easy to do so. My hands are sore, especially this hand. I had quite carpets sold and rolled yesterday and I didn't notice that I hurt my hands again. It usually happens but I don't feel it right away just when my husband sees and asks what happened. I have to do something cos I can't face the customer with such a gloomy face. I made myself a cup of coffee trying to make myself feel better. Then I start playing uplifting songs and I stop for a moment and count the blessings that I possess and feel grateful for them. That's my gratitude workout when I'm feeling low. I'm feeling better when I heard two wee boys outside asking their Mum for a change to put in the candy machine. Tia and Jigz love this. The two wee boys' Mum reaches for her purse and checks for change. It was 20 pence she needs for what the boys wants. But she doesn't have any 20 p's The boys are not happy and started crying while Mum walks out. I then grab my bag and check for 20 p in my purse. I run to the boys and started putting the 20p on the machine. And the joy, the smile the giggle the first boy gave me is so precious! And the second is very pleased and says "thank you". I left before their Mum came back but she saw what I'd done. I heard her say, " She's a nice lady." She came to the shop and say thank you. **But I thank them. They made me feel a lot better. And it didn't cost me much. As we grow older we see a penny as worthless. But for the young ones, it feels like a million. We were once young and innocent a cent made us happy once.** Thank you for reading.

10,000 Steps a Day We're getting good at this. Since I and my husband started walking at night we keep doing it. And I'm happy that I'm now enjoying our walk. On the first day, all I do was complain about how far and hard to walk 5 kilometres. Like every time my watch tells me how many kilometres we walk I was like, "That's it, no more." At work, I can easily achieve 6000 steps in 4 hours. And at night we walk at least 5 kilometres, at least an hour of walking. So that's more than 10, 000 steps a day. ***Tonight we went to Comber Greenway for our night walk.*** We've never been here. This is a great place to walk with your family or with your dog, cycle and even the kids can ride their scooters here. There's this sign that I appreciate. Share. Respect. Enjoy Just the right sign for everyone to follow. Everyone will be happy and enjoy this place if everyone follows. But to tell you the truth people here are very nice and we always greeting each other just say "hiya" with a smile while passing. That's just cool! **There are many, cycling at that time. That's past 8 pm.** **Some are walking with their dogs.** We normally just walk from home around the town. Normally from 8 pm when kids are watching tv before they go to bed and Mum watching her program. And look at the views and some nice plants too. Though it's getting dark, it is still fascinating out here. We even see some rabbits hopping about and this deaf cat. How do we know that it's deaf? Because it didn't know when we were coming or even when we trying to call it. It just runs as we are getting close. Then hide in the bushes. After an hour of walking finally, we are close to home and I'm rejoicing when I heard my watch says we've walked 5 kilometres. That's our target every night. And we're not walking fast just walking casually And this is what I've accomplished today. Power! And I'm not into keeping fit. I just want to be able to eat what I want to eat. Burn some calories so I can eat more calories. Hahaha. Kidding aside it's a great bonding time with my husband. Okay, it's food time. I'm hungry. Lol. We will bring Mum and the kids here on Saturday. Let them ride the scooter or their bike. **How's your day? Do you enjoy walking too?** Thank you for reading!

What You Want To Receive, GIVE **Of all the lessons I learned in life, the most rewarding one is that if I want something, all I have to do is give it away.** I used to wonder how to get the things I wanted in life. I'm so frustrated and disappointed with everything. I don't feel good on the inside. My face doesn't know what a smile is. But life teaches me so many lessons. Having more problems the tougher I become. The more pain I endure the stronger I become. And my wounded heart and soul, it healed and though it didn't make me perfect, I can tell it made me better. Give what you want to receive. That's right. Give it away. If you're having a bad day, make someone else's day. If you feel blue, make someone happy. If you need love, give love. If you are financially struggling, give away what you can. Givers are the happiest and that's true. It's amplifying or telling the world this is what I want. Karma is real. Attraction is real. Positive thinking is real and most of all giving is true power. They always say don't expect anything in return but I'm telling you, everything will come back to you even if you don't expect it. The universe is so powerful. It's unbelievable. I used to hate people around me. They hate me back. I used to talk negatively about myself, it made me feel bad. I used to get jealous of others' accomplishments, I see more people succeed. I was never contented with my life, then I feel more miserable every day. ***Then I focus on giving to myself. Why? Because you can't give something you don't have.*** I give myself more love. Then I was able to give love to people around me. I work hard and my work rewards me with incentives. I give away and help when I can and I never feel empty. And the joy of giving satisfies me. And I don't need to be rich or tell you that giving is all about money because the truth is the great givers around the world is the one who doesn't have much. **But they are full of love. They are full of hope. They have positive minds. They speak of good things and ideas. And they help other people in ways they can.** Giving is not giving your all and losing everything. Giving is giving in any simple way. Then why do some people give love and ended up with broken hearts? Or help someone by lending them money only to be forgotten and never paid back? Or give away everything and help generously, in the end, they are alone and broke? There are things we can't control. It's something you can't control. It's beyond our power. We can only control ourselves, ourselves alone. People do what they do and act like it because they are what they are. Some will take advantage. You would want to be careful with people who to help but how will you know if you're the only resort or that one needs you badly? It's hard but giving a heartfelt 'No' counts too. Regret and mistake, memories made them so learn with an open heart. *If you don't like where you are and how are you right now. You have to move and give the necessary action you need. Give tender loving care. Give positivity. Give passion. Give time. Give smiles. Give a helping hand. Forgive. Praise. Be kind. Give thanks. And everything you give you will receive in its perfect time.* **To all the wonderful Givers around the world and especially here in read.cash and noise.cash who blessed me with such, you are awesome! While you making others happy, you are the happiest. Thank you for the blessing. God will bless you more.** Thank you for reading.

Sunday Day Out ***The sun is out today. The beautiful blue sky and the clouds were so glorious to see. It's time to go on a date and so we sneak out while the kids are asleep. Thanks to Auntie Rona and Mum they will mind them if they ever get up before we come back.*** My husband asked me, "Do you want to go to Nutts Corner?" And I said yes. That's the Sunday Market we used to go to. But never been there since winter. So off we go. And on the way, this beautiful road delights me. And the clouds above made me smile even more. It was quite a short road trip with my love and we both enjoyed it. We go home and take everyone to the van and have a wee run out to take them to different places they will surely appreciate. We took them to the house they used to live. The place where they and their granny used to work. To their old school that still looks the same. They reminisce. The boyfriends. The place where they used to dance. The place where they use to throw their money because they are not allowed to accept money from strangers. I enjoy listening to them exchanging their memories and asking each other about people they wonder if dead or alive. I enjoy their childish giggle and laugh. *We take them to memory lane. And they are enjoying it and we are enjoying it and our last stop is visiting Dad at the graveyard which made them quite emotional. Auntie Rona wasn't able to come when Dad died so she was teary-eyed when she saw the graveyard.* **But all is good. It was a great day. Everyone is happy. Everyone had a great time. What a Sunday we had!** Thank you for reading.

Children at Work **"Mommy, tomorrow I'm going to work with you!** **-Tia** Upon hearing it from her, the first thing that comes to my mind is she's just wanting some ice cream. So I gave her a '**look**' with a smile and I think she reads my mind and I laugh hard when she said, *"I don't want ice cream this time."* Haha. But I said she can have ice cream if she want to. And then I ask Jigz if he wants to come to work and he said yes. So it's a family affair again. As soon as I open the shop. Tia said, **"Mommy, can I get ice cream now?"** Hahaha. I told you. She just come here for ice cream. But I have customers so I let them sit in at Del Pierro in front and have a meal and of course, ice cream. Sorry I wasn't able to get some pictures to show you their happy faces while having their ice cream. Then they were ready for work. Look what ice cream can do. More energy! I laugh at Tia trying to sell a unicorn rug for £50 when it's only £15 making the customer laugh. But she still did a good job and the customer is very happy with her service that he gave her a pound for being a good Lil saleswoman. She said "Thank you" with a big smile. And want to go shopping straight away. And Jigz got £2 for helping 2 elderly women carry their rugs at the carpark. They are very happy to get some help as they can't carry a big rug. And I'm happy that Jigz is here to assist them. Good job, son! And that's our day at the shop with my little workers. They said they'll be working again tomorrow. Or should I say, *they'll be having ice cream again tomorrow?* ***You know I'm just grateful that I have a great boss and that I can bring my kids whenever. It's very handy for a working Mum like me. And it's good too that Jigz and Tia know what I'm doing when I'm not at home.*** Thank you for reading.

Night Walk at The Scrabo It was a busy day for me. But I promised my husband that I'm gonna walk with him tonight. So after doing household chores after work we went to the shop to get milk and then went to The Scrabo. Look at the view from the carpark. It's 8:30 pm and looks like there's also a couple who's having a walk as well. And many dog walkers are still about. They are holding hands while walking. Of course, us too! Okay start walking and we are just enjoying the view. We didn't come here just to walk but to burn some calories. While walking I saw many slugs about. It's wet that's why. Some are big. Look at this one! And you think that's small? Look at it again compared to the big hands of my husband. It's huge! The Scrabo Tower First stop, The Scrabo Tower! And I'm already tired. Already complaining and my husband just laughs at me. And tell me, I can't be tired already. The lovers made the tower perfect! Ayiee.. This is such a romantic place plus the view from here is amazing. The Strangford Lough is at the right. Now we go to the Killynether Wood and walk up the hill. It was not easy when it started to get dark. I was so careful not to slip or fall. My husband is holding my hand and pushing me when I need it. After a long walk and running out of breath we reach the top. ***What do you think?*** There's also a couple at the top enjoying the VIP bench. You will enjoy this place with your loved ones. And it's getting dark as soon as we go down. I got quite scared but when we get back near the carpark I'm so happy. I even run! In the end, we give each other a high five and a kiss. That's us sweating already. And even though I complain that I hate walking, I still do it. Or maybe it's easier because I have my husband with me. *This is a very productive day for me. We burn calories alright. But we're tired. So let's put back some calories and have some pizza. Hahaha.* *This is why I don't like doing exercise to lose weight. Because when I exercise, no matter what kind it is even just walking, I got tired. Then I eat. Then I eat a lot thinking I deserve it. Justifying me being greedy just because I walk miles. So burning calories and then putting them back on.* *At least we enjoy the walk!* Thank you for reading.

A Day Out at Portrush **Another happy place for me and my family. It has everything to make you say wow and scream at the same time. So what are you waiting for? Keep reading!** Yesterday after work we went to Portrush. This is great because Mum and Auntie Rona are going to. It's roughly 70 miles drive so we bring the van for extra room. There you go. Let's go Portrush! Yes, we arrived at our destination. ***Portrush is a favourite holiday destination here in Northern Ireland because it has amusements, restaurants, the beach and many attractions to visit. Number one is the Giant Causeway.*** It is a lovely day to be here. We are making the most of the sun as it's going to rain this Sunday and next week so we have to enjoy it. This is just my second time here and Tia was not even a year old at that time. So I forgot what this place looks like. After Covid (still is), many surely have changed. But look at the crowd. And as usual, looking for a place to park is a challenge. We have to go round and round to find one. And see this big red bull up the car. *Who needs wings? Surely if this is really filled, by that size you surely have one while meeting Saint Peter at the gates of heaven. (If you're good enough 🤣)* Finally, parked our car and got a very good spot. Just right in front of everything. So off we go! Guess what's our first stop? Lol. Tia said we have to have ice cream first because it's too warm. So we went to get ice cream and since we have Mum and Auntie Rona, we have to take everything slowly. After having ice cream and cooling down, we started walking and checking out the shops first then sightseeing to see the marina. We didn't go straight to amusement as there's plenty of time to do that. Look how beautiful and relaxing this view is from here. The Marina It's very picturesque. I love the view of the Big Eye in the background. Look at those fishes! That only looks small but I swear they are big. And the people enjoying a dip and paddle boarding. The heat makes you want to just take dive and stay there. After a short walk, Auntie Rona said, *"Are we going home now?* And this is the reason why you should travel and do everything you want while you're young. While you got the power. As when we get old, walking is a bit too much for us. I know they get tired easily and that's the reality of getting old. We take it easy and let her rest. Gave her Mum's stick as Mum got a wheelchair so she's not as tired as Auntie Rona. Off to the Amusement Before this is called **'Barry's'** now because of the Pandemic it was sold and is under new ownership and is now called '**Curry's Fun Park**'. Inside it's filled with rides, food stalls, arcades and different games. First, we have to buy tokens. That's their paper ticket. It's cheaper if we buy this one for £40 so we get free 15 tokens. 1 token is £1. Rides need at least 2 rides for the kids and 3 for adults. Everyone goes where they want. As usual, it's me and Tia together again. Mum and Auntie Rona just sitting comfortably watching. Rides This is Tia's first ride. Oh, Momma cannot go in that one. Then we ride the Ghost train with our eyes closed till the end. You can't blame us. We just want to use our ticket lol. **More rides** After so many rides we went out to eat. We walk to see where can we eat. Most of the restaurants need online booking made and are fully booked so we end up at Domino's. We just ordered 2 large Pizza (pepperoni), wedges and chicken wings. Mum and Auntie Rona don't want to eat so it's a feast for us. Didn't even eat the other box so we took it home. That does us to keep us going then back to amusement. It's now nighttime. Look how beautiful this place is at night. Tia needs to have a go on this Helter Skelter. She enjoyed this at Butlin's. One more ride for Tia! We have to wait for her to go to this double-decker bus as most of the kids want to be there too. And Momma has played her favourite 2p machine. I came prepared and brought my 2ps with me. I am proud to share that I got £5 out of it. My husband ask how much I spent. I didn't answer. It doesn't matter. I've got a fiver out. And we buy another tokens/tickets so we can ride the Tower Eye. Only to be told that they have a separate token here. So we have to pay again. £4 each. But the top view is well worth it! Oh, it feels so good and looks fantastic in here. You can see everything from the top and admire the jaw-dropping view. It's just right that they name it **"The View"**. It suits it. And it's 10 pm the amusement is closing. And we need to say bye-bye to this place and head home. All are tired and sleeping. We reach home after 12 and we all went straight to bed. Mum and Auntie Rona had a wonderful day just being out. And all of us had a lovely day full of fun. Until next time. We got more tickets left! Thank you for reading. **I hope you enjoyed Portrush.**

It's Too Hot Today *It's too cold. The day is dull. It's raining outside. No matter what the weather is, we always have something to complain about. The weather can't really win and keeping us all happy is an impossible task.* But it's truly hot today. I was at work and most of the elderly are complaining. I see people walking about the shop who have bought a fan. And the ice cream shops are full again. Mum doesn't like heat. But always complain of being cold, lol. I'm okay, I was born in a hot country but no matter, I can't stick it. And I'm so lazy to do what I have to do. So I never had work done. I even convince myself to write today as I haven't had articles for 3 days now. So here I am. Jigz went fishing with his friends and had pizza afterwards at the house. Mum and Auntie Rona are sleeping. Tia wants ice cream and so we had a wee run out. Jigz wants to stay with his friends so it's just us. Millisle Beach We ended up at Millisle Beach and went to see if the ice cream van is there as I want a cheesecake with ice cream and I love the one we get in here. Luckily it's here. But unfortunately, there's no more cheesecake left. I enjoy watching the seagulls and the dogs running about. Particularly this elderly man having fun with his dog. The dog can swim better than me and enjoys a wee play with the ball. **That's her happiness now after getting her chosen ice cream.** Tia went to play while at the beach. It's too hot but it's always cold here which explains Tia wearing her jacket. And lol let me tell you, I told Tia to change her clothes so we can get her an ice cream. And she came out in such an outfit. ***She's wearing winter clothes. Not just winter clothes but a*** *****Christmas jumper, tights and skirt and winter boots********. Like on a bright sunny day. And she even wants to bring her winter jacket hahaha.*** Her Dad was looking at her asking If she was okay. If she's cold. **Because lol if I can walk naked outside, I will. But what a nasty sight it will be. 🤣** And we told her to get the change again. No, I mean I went with her just in case she thinks of wearing her Halloween costume. Next, we went to Portavogie Harbour to find the seals. Portavogie Harbour **There's the seal. It looks like a dog, isn't it?** And the seagulls everywhere. I think they are well fed in here. There's the boat unloading their catch. Then out of the blue, we ride the ferry from Portaferry to Strangford by crossing the lough in our car and went to Newcastle. **How cool is that?!** Crossing the Strangford Lough This is just so good. Imagine getting in there and I feel nothing. You will not feel that you're crossing the water. There you go, Newcastle. And play to my 2p machine. This is my game. My favourite. I can sit here all day and forget that I have a husband and kids. ***We are lucky to live in such a place with the mountains, beaches and all the amusements just around us.*** ***And that's us happy. And it's a Beautiful Day today! Not just hot.*** Thank you for reading.

Asian Restaurant in the Heart of Medieval Village ***"There is more than meets the eye."*** Last month we visited the medieval village of Dunster. It was cloudy at that time and my photo cannot justify the beauty of that street alone. I can tell you that just standing there can take you back in time. We are enjoying our walk and it gets more exciting as when we are walking down the village my husband saw the Philippines Flag outside one of the shops. The place is called **"Born Appetite"** where you can enjoy a traditional tea room and offer delicious Asian meals. My husband was so delighted that he can only think of *"tocino".* Funny enough he rushed to get inside and looked forward to having Filipino food. It's as if I don't cook such. But I understand, that we never had any Filipino food for a week at that time so we are craving authentic rice. Here's the menu: We didn't have much time to eat at that time and tocino should be prepared overnight at least so we put our order for the next day. I'm very happy to meet my kabayan here. Ate Mia, the Filipina owner said she can make tocino for my husband. She's a lovely woman and very accomodating. The next day I'm so excited. After a long walk in the castle while my husband is nowhere to be found. We eat at Born Appetite without him. I'm starving and so are the kids. Ate Mia said she cooked Bulalo for us and tocino then I also ordered Pansit for Tia. Bulalo Taste like home! Don't ask me where is the rice for we had two. *Sabaw pa lang, grabe ansarap!* Pansit And Tia loves her pansit. It only looks like a small serving but we have to share this with the three of us and still have some leftovers. The pork is so crispy! High blood is waving. Tocino Jigz had tocino and rice not just one but two. Sweet pork, my husband's favourite. Only he's not here. **It's so good!!! This is authentic Filipino food.** **We're lucky to be here.** The ambience looks good too. Imagine having your tea here with your friends. They also have wide selections of west country gins. They make their own gin aswell! You can also browse their craft shop. There are plenty to choose from. Many souvenir items. This is an all-in-one shop. And it's definitely more than meets the eye as it reaches into my belly too! Haha. Oh, I'm a happy Momma. And my husband came after. And had his tocino. Oh, he loves it! But you know that he need to order chips with it lol. *Do you want to see the bill? Charaan!* ***It's worth it.*** Thank you for reading.
