Northern Ireland Brace for New Covid Restrictions

Starting 6pm tomorrow, Northern Ireland banned meeting of friends or families from other households indoors. Our First Minister Arlene Foster announced after their meeting with the Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The Covid-19 alert level was upgraded from level 3 to level 4 here in the UK because of the rapid rising of new cases. We are at level four alert the last time when Covid is at it's peak. Level 4 means the "transmission of the virus is highly exponential". They say we could face 50,000 cases and about 200 deaths a day by October if they don't do some necessary action urgently.

Yesterday, there are 3899 new cases reported and 4368 new cases today in the UK. The drastic increase of cases worries everybody. Arlene Foster said "This is not a return to lockdown" and that "doing nothing is not an option".

This is a crucial time for everyone to follow the social distancing guidelines, washing of hands regularly and wearing of masks or any protective covering. This is not the time to question the government as they are also trying their very best to contain this virus. Ask yourself what you can do to help.

We can see Second lockdown coming. What's happening now is very alarming as just recently the Covid cases continuously decreasing and here we are again repeating the first wave.

I feel bad that my Mum(86 y/o) won't be able to see her brother this week. They just recently contacted each other since the first lockdown. Last week she wrote to him to call her because she's worried about him and he did and told her that he will come this week. Now, it's not going to happen for the meantime. Mum is so heartbroken.

We can only try to do what the government asking us to do on our part as a country to keep each other safe. A very crucial moment now that the virus is on its rampage once again. I know that this is worldwide. And some countries are badly hit by this virus. Let's pray and do what we have to do to save lives and ours especially. Keep safe everyone. We will get through this all together!
