Schedule some time for meditation or prayer each day. Find a quiet space and take five minutes to focus on your breath, being mindful of what you are thinking and feeling right now, noticing how your body feels as you breathe in and out. Try repeating a few phrases such as “I am safe; I am strong; I am supported; I am loved; I am enough” in order to help reduce anxiety that might be causing stress.

Every evening I sit outside my village by the valley and try to regulate my emotions. I often try to be alone for a while and feel better in that moment. If we stop taking care of ourselves, we lose the balance of our lives. Emotions are what give us the strength to move forward. Thanks for the reminder!
