Own Nothing!

Sometimes I get too paranoid because there are so many thoughts and pressures around us that we don't have time to think about ourselves but suddenly when someone dies in front of our eyes it gives us a different kind of shock.

A very close relative of mine died a few days ago and a few months she came to my house because she had a doctor's appointment. She took treated at my house for about a week and it was very difficult because she was very sick in bed. After returning home from my house I heard that she was feeling much better than before. She was also physically well. But suddenly she became very ill and was admitted to the hospital. This was her last visit to the hospital because she returned home with a dead body from the hospital! She was bedridden for several months before her death and suffered.

However, I wish the deceased soul to rest in peace, and may Allah grant her Paradise.

In this world, we struggle so much. One day this struggle will be over and all our preoccupations will be over. So who are we fighting with? One day neither I nor you will be in this world. We are only guests for a certain period. Money and wealth have brought some people so low that they do not forget to deny their blood.

As children are being born before our eyes and many are dying, I am slowly growing old and approaching death. When these thoughts surround me from all around, I think how can I free myself from the fascination of this world?

We have a lot of love for this world, our children, our own family, our husband, and our parents, we don't give any place to others just for ourselves. But actually, do we have anything in the world to call our own?

After your death, your family members will be busy taking your dead body out of the house first, because if it is left in the house for a long time, the dead body may smell bad. If you can't take anything, why are people so proud? But yes some things can go with you - your good deeds and your behavior towards others while living in this world.

How many of us care for good deeds--?

I do not agree the average man only cares about himself. Many give and give, especially women. They give in, compromise, give the food out of their mouths, and give their youth, dreams, wishes, and health away. Those few rich want us to believe we are happy if we own nothing (who will own those last sessions we have?).

If you stop reading newspapers, watching tv, listening to the radio, taking time to relax, and doing nothing you have plenty of time to think, for your thoughts.

It would be wise if we develop a different attitude to life and death. Death is the only thing we are sure of. No long life is needed or guaranteed all one need is a satisfying one.

What a wake up call! I believe I don't have much good deeds in earth. I admit I am a bd pereosn, I swear and curse but I do love my family so much.

Loving your family is a good deed in my opinion. But it is wrong to say that every human being is absolutely free from sin. So staying positive is very important and the rest is known to The Creator.
