It's so sad to see and read the dark part of hour history. Will this is not a History from Philippines but this may also happen in the Philippines history with a sailed lips of whom knows.

George stinney Jr, the youngest person to be sentenced to death in the United States

One of the saddest chapters in history.

George stinney Jr, the youngest person to be sentenced to death in the United States

He was 14 years old when he was executed in an electric chair. During his trial he always carried a Bible in his hands claiming his innocence. He was accused of killing two white girls, 11-year-old Betty and Mary of 7 whose bodies were found near the house the boy and his parents lived. At that time, all members of the jury were whites. The trial lasted 2 hours only and the sentence was dictated 10 minutes later.

The boy's parents were not allowed in the court room, and subsequently expelled from that city after the trial.

Before the execution George spent 81 days in prison without being able to see his parents, he was held in solitary 80 miles from his city, he was held alone without anybody to talk to. He was electrocuted with 5380 VOLTS IN HIS HEAD.

70 years later, in 2014, his innocence was finally proven by a judge in South Carolina.

WITH HIS INNOCENT SOUL REST IN Peace.

I've seen this post and make me sad. The Law back then really seems to be unfair. how Lucky Am I. That I wasn't born in 70's. . The eyes of Law are still Blind Fold until now or forever.

There's a lot more like George who's been punish unfairly. and without a Trials.

May His Innocent Souls Rest In Peace.

Life is unfsir. But we must live. Justice before are not equal we all know that. Till now rich hold the power to make the wrong right and make the right wrong. So as much as possible we should avoid fighting one another. Pride can kill you and innocent people. Law is Blind.

Sadly though, history is full of such false sentences. Until it's proved, noone can be guilty. Both racism and cruelty. Sad; Really sad...

I almost cried about your article, it's not just happened in other countries, but also to our country here in Philippines but not a young person, but to accused someone that they really won't do what they accused but saddenly they still sentenced. I'm really feel bad about it. Accused people, Although they are innocent. It's really sad to think that the justice sometimes isn't fair. I didn't say every case is all faults or innocent, but sometimes it does happened.

I heard of this story before and it was really heartbreaking. I feel pity for the little boy and for the little girls. Hope they find the justice they needed.
