How to İmprove Quality of Life
Our body has a perfect functioning system that surprises us. We live with the perfect combination and harmony of many systems such as the nervous system, skeletal system, circulatory system, endocrine system, muscular system, digestive system, respiratory system and lymphatic system. They work quietly, in harmony, like an orchestra. While they look after us very well with this harmony, can we show them the necessary care?
Especially if you live a city life; It is not easy to protect our health when the negative effects of industrial chemicals, electromagnetic pollution, toxic substances used in agriculture, heavy metals, unconsciously used chemical drugs (not to mention cigarette alcohol, caffeine).
As the years pass like water, our body gradually begins to wear out and lose its functionality as normal. However, when there is a problem in one of these systems we have, we can understand its importance and show the importance it should always be only in these times.
Health is one of the things I care about in my life.
Since my young age, I have had many problems with my health, especially when I was an athlete, and I overcame the problems by paying attention to my life. Living correctly and in a balanced way and improving my quality of life has become a way of life for me. I think that a few simple measures to overcome all these negativities will play a very important role in improving your quality of life.
Three elements are very important for our quality of life.
In order of importance, we need breath, drink (water) and food to continue our lives. We can stay without "breath" for only 1-2 minutes, we can stay without "water" for only a few days, and we can stay without "food" for the longest few weeks. Three very important issues for us. It seems to me that we sometimes forget the importance of these issues.
You ask why? I want to ask you a question! “How many times do you breathe a day?”
Few people can answer this question right away.
Let me tell you, we breathe about 22,000 times a day, and most of these breaths are shallow and inadequate with the upper 3/1 part of our lungs, called collarbone breathing. While we are running, talking and sleeping, we are always breathing, whether we are aware of it or not. Do you think we can increase our quality of life if we consciously take deep and regular breathing from time to time and get more oxygen to our body?
Well, almost 70% of our body is made up of water. If we can adjust the amount of water we drink according to our needs and pay attention to the quality of the water, can we increase our quality of life?
And on the topic of food, I would like to share a quote that I love very much.
B.C. Hippocrates, 'the most important name of medicine' in the 400s, declared the importance of food thousands of years ago by saying, "Let what you eat be your medicine, and your medicine be what you eat". If we, too, can be selectively permeable to the foods that enter our stomach on nutrition discovered thousands of years ago, can we bring about an increase in our quality of life?
Of course, yes to all of them… Small but important details in your life will make a big difference for you. It's about your quality of life, the choices you make, and your conscious living. If you put these issues, which are vital for staying healthy and alive, in the first place in your life and show the necessary care, you can achieve positive changes in your health. I think we owe this much care to our body that has carried us for years. Treat your physical body with love, not as an enemy, but as a friend you love very much, and you will definitely get in return.
Wishing you healthy days…
