@pinkjadeite more from that month

My last meal with my husband before he was tested positive and then he sent himself away from us to keep us safe - was this thing called 'otak-otak'. My mother-in-law actually bought this from Penang. And this 'otak-otak' travelled all the way from Penang to Kuala Lumpur then to our stomachs. 😜 Interestingly, when I was young, I refused to eat this when my mum offered because 'otak' in our language (Malay language) is brain. So I thought there was brain in it. I was visually affected when I see it, and was already imagining brains being smashed eventhough my mum told me few times it was only fish. I eventually grew up loving this. For more facts about this dish, you may refer here, written by my brother-in-law. He could describe food very well.⤵️ https://noise.cash/post/1r6vnwg3 I usually spontaneously go with - "yummy, delicious, appetizing, or nice-nice" - when it comes to describing a food. Haha.
