Papyrus | Paper Transformation After the Imperial Age

2 51

You and I are writers who I can say are great writers and maybe also amateur writers depending on the experience that has been passed to date. As times change with the influence of technology, many significant changes occur in the world of writing. It may sound familiar to hear the pencils and paper stationery that often confront you and me when the school bell rings in the morning, a time that will probably never be forgotten. Although paper and pencil is still used today, you can feel the transformation as typewriters, telegrams, computers and until now mobile phones with digital screens have become the main tools for creating written works, messages, speeches, accounting, financial reports, digital paintings and other notes that can be created on a digital screen. Maybe someday the paper and pencil will be left behind like old writing machine tools.

If it is said that paper was the first material used as a writing instrument from ancient times to the present, then maybe that perception needs to be changed and we need to review the irregularities that have become knowledge so far.

In Imperial times, the information and communication system used when interacting with nobles was "Papyrus". Papyrus is a writing instrument that comes from a plant called papyrus that grows in the Middle East. You may know about the history of the ancient Egyptian empire which is famous for some of its symbols, the use of papyrus comes from the ancient Egyptian royal system which used the medium of writing instruments made of papyrus.

Images, notes and symbols are engraved on sheets that are unique and attractive, if you are a gamer and like to play imperial games, surely you will often see menu display screens and information published using papyrus sheets. This mechanism is used so that the atmosphere in the royal system arena can be felt by some media users.

Papyrus is synonymous with empire, so everything related to the kingdom must have papyrus characters in it.

The development of stationery media has been innovated from time to time in accordance with the intensity that occurs in human life today. Although the imperial way of life is still considered conventional in terms of the communication system, it is a source of inspiration for human life today because it can provide insight with the findings and use of simple stationery media. Ancient papyri may still be kept in various museums located in the publishing area of an ancient empire such as Egypt, Greece, Rome, Persia and other kingdoms that used this secular material.

The transformation of writing instruments is an implementation of the influence of technological developments from the stone age to the digital age, although its revitalization takes a very long time, ancient papyrus is evidence of the characteristics of imperial documentaries.

I remember the bookmark I was gifted which was made out of papyrus. I wonder where that went. We have now come a long way from using papyrus to almost paperless. I think there is still one man making papyrus the old way. Not sure though.
