The idea of NomadCoin started with the simple thought of utilizing the smartBCH network for traveler.

Why NomadCoin?

As someone who likes to travel I have always wanted to do something in the travel industry, but since I am not good with camera I couldn't be a travel vlogger like many people like me.

Nor I am rich enough to start my own tour company, also my travel style doesn't fit into the guided tours category anyway.

But I understand people like me who likes to travel, specially people who like to travel on a budget and crave experience over luxuries. Simply put the Nomad travels the digital nomads the people that live life differently.

Who are modern day nomads?

people who are passionate about traveling and seeing the world on a limited budget and prefers to spend on authentic experiences instead of the luxuries.

• We prefer to stay in hostels rather than in hotels, because not only it be cheaper but also because we get to meet likeminded people.

• We spend less on means of transport so that we can spend more on the experiences.

• You may find us hitchhiking and would always have a smile

• You will find us volunteering, helping out and being part of the community

The NomadCoin token

The token was created in an effort to bring a community together through an issuance of a special token that is exchangeable for goods and services within a community or can be used for tipping and gifting.

We developed the NomadCoin token on the smartBCH instead of something like Ethereum because of the strong and passionate community that exists for BitcoinCash and moreover since it is a community project that focuses on small Nomad centric transactions the fees on other chains could be an issues.

The main use case for NomadCoin token is to function as a Nomad-to-Nomad medium of exchange. This token doesn’t seek to replace either the BitcoinCoin (BCH / SEP20) or the fiat currency, but the goal is to act specifically for certain requirements. Suppose on your travel you meet a fellow Nomads who like you travel on a budget and stays in hostels instead of hotels, one of them fixes your GoPro camera that hasn’t been working since you got to your destination, you want to show your appreciation and instead of paying your fellow nomad in Crypto Currency or Fiat Currency you transfer them you NomadCoin tokens. This will not only save your Crypto like BitcoinCash or fiat for other essentials like paying for lodging or food, but will also spread a sense of belonging among the Nomadic traveling community. Same can be used in online travel specific use cases, someone helps you find a good deal or help to track down information on your next destination or sell you their tent you can pay them in NomadCoin.

The Airdrop

As part of the initial phase the project, we are focusing on dissemination of tokens through airdrops and building the community around it.

Here's what you need to do in order to participate in this airdrop:

1. Join the NomadCoin read.cash community

2. Post an article on the community about either any of the trips you had or any future plans

   And you are done

The tokens will be distributed to the genuine posts

2. At the bottom last of your post you should mention your smartBCH address. Simple write my smartBCH address is .........

3. Your post should be travel specific (so no recipes please)

4. You can include pictures and/or your plans to use NomadCoin to make the post as interesting as possible (through it is optional)

5. Making a post doesn't guarantee you tokens and distribution is at sole discretion of the developers

6. Only one post per person is allowed

7. Be nice to other members
