Fully Vaccinated💉
It's been 20 months since the outbreak of Covid-19. Since then, we are obliged to stay at home and be quarantined. It was not easy at first. Imagine staying at home all day long, doing the same routines for almost everyday.
For the past months, our frontliners have been struggling towards health security by implementing safety protocols and guidelines. It's been a while but we still not got used to it. Sometimes, we tend to forgot our facemasks, or sanitize ourselves. We thought it will finally come to its end, but it's not.
Through thorough studies and laboratories, our doctors have finally succeeded in doing formulas and medicines in fight with this virus. They have finally formulated different kinds of vaccines, with different side effects and results. At first, we are so afraid of getting these vaccines, since it is not yet approved and it is still in the process of making. We are not sure that's why, threat is still in our mind.
When the Department of Health finally agreed with these vaccines, they started to distribute this all over the world. Though we are not yet assured with these vaccines, some people have taken the risk. Even during the performance testing, there are some volunteers who helped in the making of these vaccines. Some did a great job, but some lose their lives. It's not easy formulating vaccines but we still hope for the best.
After running many tests, the vaccines are now ready for distribution, locally. The government aimed for at least 75% of population in every municipality to get vaccinated. For the past few months, health professionals were visiting barangays and municipality for vaccination period. There are some people who are willing too be vaccinated, but some are still afraid.
I, myself, was not yet prepared for these vaccines. I am also not yet confident since I have a medical record regarding my asthma. I am afraid of the possible effects of these vaccines. Actually, I asked God for a sign or even reason for me to push with the vaccination. Months of waiting, I finally got an answer. Our university has announced the possible face to face learning system on January 2022. They are encouraging students to be vaccinated for this upcoming face to face. They even scheduled vaccination days to help students who don't know the vaccination areas. They have already conducted 3 times but unfortunately, I was not able to go there.
October 22, 2021 when my mother called me. My mother is a health worker in our barangay that's why she is updated on the vaccination schedules. She called me at 3pm, telling me that I should go to court and get vaccinated. I was hesitant at first, but I still manage to go there and get my vaccination. I was vaccinated with Sinovac. The vaccination time was smooth because there are only few people who went there. In less than 10 mins, I finished the procedure and went home. I was told to get my 2nd dose on November 22, 2021.
When I got home, I took medicine as advised by the midwife who injected me. After several minutes, I felt sleepiness so I went to bed early that night. In the morning, I am expecting myself to have a flu, or experience any side effects. But thankfully, I was doing fine the whole time. I just experienced some numbness in my arm where I got vaccinated, but it's normal.
November 22, 2021 is my 2nd dose. I have still some class so I decided to go there at 4pm. When I got there, I was so surprise to see crowds waiting. I thought that there are only few people left, but I was wrong. The vaccination period was joined by many people. I was told that the quota for that day was about 600+ vaccines.
I started lining up around 4:15pm, and believe it or not, I was the last in the line. Hahahaha thankfully that my Ate was also there, second to the last, so I didn't get bored while waiting. There are 6 steps needed to accomplish.

Imagine, I finished my vaccination period around 10pm already. Thinking that there are still people in there. I heard they all went home around 11pm and even my mother, who's also assisting during that time, went home before 12 midnight.
The process this time was not easy unlike my 1st dose. Actually, when it comes in experiencing the side effects, I am afraid I might experience severe side effects, but I didn't experience anything aside from the numbness I feel. Everything was normal.
For those who are not yet vaccinated, I am not encouraging nor discouraging you to get vaccinated. It is up to you whether you're ready for it or not. Just know your health. If you are anxious and unsure about your health condition, I better recommend to consult a doctor first.

Crocheting is not just crocheting
It's been a month since I last posted here. Or I can say, almost 2 months . Honestly, I've run out of motivation. I just didn't know what to do anymore, even with my studies. I've been exhausted thinking and worrying about things. I didn't know myself anymore.
For the past months that I've been inactive here, I decided to pursue with my new hobby - **crocheting.** It's been my favorite hobby since July 2021 (well if you have already read my post about this). This hobby made me realize that I can be more, that I can create my own unique world in this very usual world. I, somehow, found something that suits my interest as well as gives me motivation to do more.
I started my crochet hobby at July - doing crochet alcopouch and lanyards. As I move further, I decided to do something out of ordinary. So I decided to make different products out of different kinds of yarns.
**Alcopouch and Lanyard**
I first created crochet like this. I've received lots of orders with this. I even have made 25 alcopouch for souvenirs. I am just so blessed!
**Mini bag**
Actually, this mini bag is accidentally made. I was exploring designs then I didn't notice that my crochet has made a mini bag. My sister, who is pregnant, have been demanding me to do a mini bag for her "pangontra" (I know some Filipinos know about this). At first, what I want to do is a small shoe for baby, but surprisingly, I've created this mini bag. I know that this is not as good as what you expected it to be, but I'm still happy to be able to create this product.
3. **Bucket hat and beanie**
Actually, I didn't came up with the idea of making this product. I just adopted this from my friend who's also doing crochet. She started weeks before I started. Some of my products are also based from her. ❤
Then, this sis my first ever bucket hat crochet. I am really so happy that I have made this.!
If you're wondering how I am able to do this since I am just a beginner, I just watch youtube for tutorials. There are really lots of amazing tutorials in youtube especially for beginners.
FACT: When you started doing basic patterns, you will be able to create more beautiful patterns you will not expect you to made! <3
After I learned how to do bucket hat, I started exploring it by doing my favorite cartoon character, Panda. I use black and white yarns to create this. It still don't have it's eyes, but I am working on it. :)
My sister ordered this. She asked me if I can put a name on the hat, so I explored again. Thankfully, the result was great! She was my first costumer, actually. Hahahaha
Another bucket hat! This is an order actually. I just tried to wear it if it's good enough. Well I think it's not that bad. What do you think?
And since I really love exploring, I decided to do a mini hat for my baby Kaki. 🐕🦺

Depression isn't a joke
Depression and anxiety are two different word with different meanings, but only has one goal - to ruin someone's day or life. We tend to feel these two whenever we are in a situation where we can't anymore control our feelings and we are being chased by everybody's expectations towards us.

Depression is not a joke and it will never be! I saw some videos laughing and bullying someone who has a depression. That is why, the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" because you never know what they are suffering. Put yourselves in their shoes, so you can feel what you're letting them feel.
Depression is when everything feels hard in our surroundings. When you feel that the things you enjoyed doing before, became just an excuse to escape from the reality. You even questioned yourself if you are still worthy of the life you have. You find it harder and harder to face life, or by getting out of bed in the morning. As days go by, you continuously drag yourself down. You find it difficult to go to bed at night.
We used to tell people to share what they feel on their closest friends, family, or partners, but the thing is, when a person has a depression, even her, can't understand what she's feeling right now. How can you explain to someone that you want to live your life but on the same thing, don't know how you can? How do you explain that this is no longer feels like a choice, that it controls you not the other way around?

No one can ever see the end of depression. No one knows how to end it but a little chance of surviving it made us fight until the end. We can survive anything as long as we know how to end it, but dealing with something infinite is like counting your hair strands - yes it is possible, but the process itself seems impossible. But there's a chance, I know. As what I always believe, ***everything happens for a reason.***
How can we cope with this situation? Remember that depression is initially a reaction - a reaction in your life that you never imagined would be yours.
First, you need to **accept** that depression is already a part of your life now. Own up to it for yourself. Don't pretend to be okay when you're not.
Secondly, after acceptance, you need to **allow** yourself to deal with it because it really takes time. There's no magic cure, but slowly, it will be developed and you will get better soon.
Thirdly, as much as possible, **ask** for guidance and help from your closest friends. Opening up can ease the burden you're feeling. Sometimes, the biggest battle can be making that choice to allow others to help.

Today is World Mental Health Day ❤ I hope everyone's doing great, not only today, but everyday. Maybe, even myself recognize the importance of tackling these kinds of topics because even myself, is experiencing this feeling right now.
Depression and anxiety have become my enemies for the past weeks. Pressured with academics, the thesis, and non-academic stuffs such as with my family. Last monday was the release of the board exam passers in our course, and the reality hit me again. I have these thoughts in my head: *I can't even understand the topics today, what more the questions in the board exam?*. I started to doubt myself, again. That feeling when you can't even trust yourself is the most painful feeling ever, I swear.
I wanted to do things that will help me recover from this situation, I've been planning on going to a place where I can be myself, I wanted to cry and cry until I dry my tears. I want to do things, that no one can control. I wanted to spoil my self, just for a day. I wanted to, I really wanted to...
I am thankful that I have my friends and family with me. But sometimes, we need just ourselves to deal with our own battles. Sometimes, asking help for them may just affect them also. I don't know what they are suffering, and seeking help to them might just add fuel to what they're feeling. I don't want to be a burden, but I'd love to open up to them. It's not easy as it takes a lot of courage to speak up ourselves. So when you build up that courage, never ever think twice. Do it and fight for it.

Honestly, I joined this platform with the goal of earning money. As a student, I needed financial assistance especially that this pandemic had brought crisis to everyone. Actually, there are times when read.cash don't come across my mind, especially when I'm busy. Honestly, read.cash only comes in my mind when something great happened to me, or when I want to share my thoughts to you. I am not that active, but I'm trying my best to update here. Actually, I have lots of unfinished drafts here which I can't publish yet. There's this time when I thought of a topic but ended up having the title and introduction only, then I'm losing interest, again. **What did I learned from being a user for the past 6 months?**
There are lots of things I learned for the past 6 months of being a member of this platform. First is **acceptance.** The start of respect is acceptance - accepting that not everyone will like you and appreciate you. For example, there are users who will dislike your articles, just like my post about my birthday. I didn't expect that someone will dislike it, but I accepted it, maybe he has reasons.
The second one is **patience.** Patience is when after hours of waiting, no one upvotes your article. Everything takes time. If today is not, maybe tomorrow. As long as their tomorrow.
The third one is **appreciation.** Learn to appreciate all the comments, upvotes, likes, dislikes, tags, subscriptions, and sponsorships. Not everyone is given the attention we seek, so we need to be thankful.
The last one is to **dedication.** Not just only write, but also dedicate every artwork to someone, or either for yourself. Have something that strengthens and pushes you forwards. Have that motivation that fuels your fire to do more and learn more.

As this world continue to grow, the demands and problems have been growing and rising too. One of which is the global governance between the global North and global South. This north and south countries are considered as a socioeconomic and political divide. There is a huge contrast between these two especially when it comes in economic welfare, political stability, and culture among states that creates dilemma for the international community.

The division between these two economies have greatly affected the cooperation wherein different states compel them to eschew cooperation. The economic differences between highly developed economies and the rest of the world also deters cooperation. In addition, social difference between North and South create cultural clashes that breed violence and adds difficulty to forming international norms. South countries have suffered many economic crises while north countries don’t have many serious economic problems. Also, because global north countries are better developed and more advanced, they are more advances technologically speaking. This differences in technological aspects has separated greatly the north and south countries. While the north is continuously rising when it comes to their technologies, south countries have no choice but to depend in corporations from north maybe because south countries were lacking when it comes with resources. On the other hand, while north is focusing on their advancement of technology, south countries’ focus was on agriculture. The dependency of south to north have also affected the cultures of south wherein they become vulnerable to cultural penetration that happens when a foreigner from north introduce their culture and try to replace it instead of the culture of the country. This dependency also causes dualism and colonialism.
While the global North economies are sustained, the global South economies are yet to find their feet. Thus, living conditions in north are far off better than the global south – the north is wealthy, technologically advanced, politically stable and aging as their societies tend toward zero population growth, the opposite is found among global South countries. However, international leaders can solve these issues by promoting global equity. For global governance to achieve its fullest potential, the world must first address the inequality of states.

I was born in a family where celebrations are normal when it comes with different occasions, may it be in birthdays, baptism, weddings, anniversaries, or any other events. I got used to it, and everyone in the house. It's a tradition and nothing can stop that.
October 2, 1999 - a little girl was born, that was me. I was born thinking that my birthday was the only unique date out of all. Hahaha well, I think everyone knows my birthday, and I felt so blessed because of that. A priest once told us, that birthdays are not the day we were born, but the day we got baptized. Apparently, that statement has not been familiar, so we still celebrate our natal day on the exact day we were born.
October 2, 2021 - that little girl turned into 22. How did she celebrated her birthday? Let's find out!
Around 5:35am, my partner fetch me on our house because I invited him to go to the 6am concelebrated mass. It was too early, too cold, too lazy to got up, but the thought of celebrating your day removes all that worries. We just got in the church on time.
The mass has ended about 6:05am. After the mass, I lit a candle beside the church, thanking God for another blessed year the He gave to me. After, I took some photos.
After church, we had first our breakfast. We ate silog meals because it's my favorite. After having breakfast, we went first in our school to monitor our machine for our thesis.
We did what we have to do, then after school, we went to a bakery store to buy a cake. ❤ The cake was sponsored by my Auntie, which I really love the most!
After buying the cake, we went home. On our way home, the rain suddenly poured so hard that we need to use our raincoat just to cover the cake and didn't even bothered if we got wet. What's important is that the cake is safe.
Thank God we got home safe and sound. I took a bath first to avoid getting sick. After taking a bath, I was so surprise by the theme and design my sisters did for me. Hahaha. Apparently, I got addicted to Call of Duty the past month, and guess what! Hahaha that became my theme for my day.
I was really surprised that time HAHAHAHA and at the same time, happy and blessed!
Little by little, my visitors came. And before we eat, we took some photos first.
How I wish the day won't end. Time flew so fast and I didn't even noticed it's already dark outside and my classmates already need to go home. I accompany them outside and bid goodbye.
There were still some visitors who came and my mother accompany them. I took a rest and lay on my bed first.
Upon scrolling on facebook, thanking all the greetings I received, my thesismate suddenly chatted saying we need to finish our manuscript because we will have our defense on Monday, Knowing my birthday is Saturday. So, I immediately grab my laptop and edit the papers assigned to me.
I sleep at around 1am, knowing I need to wake up at 5am because I have a service in Church.
It will never be too late to appreciate all the efforts and sacrifices of all the people who surrounds and supports us. I am so thankful for all the warm greetings I received. How I wish, everyday is my birthday! 😁
Swine Housing Production System
As part of our Plant and Livestock Systems and Environmental Control Engineering subject, we are task to create a 2D sketch of either plant or animal production system. Our task is to choose a place where we will construct our production system.
I immediately thought about the farm of my former teacher way back in high school. Actually, I only visit the place twice. I am shocked actually to know that their farm is only about 500 meters away from us, knowing that their residence is almost 20 minutes ride from us. Maybe, it's in my blood to be an aspiring engineer, that's why I just suddenly realized that time that there is something that needs to be improved in their farm.
Later I learned that they are not operating their farm anymore, making me feel disappointed because that place is really suitable for a farm since the supply of water is sufficient and the area is safe for animals.
Maybe today is the day I got to renovate it and propose my own design for that farm, though I got to redesign it using autocad. It's really a waste if they will just abandon the place. Therefore, I decided to make it the subject on my today's output.
Here is the floorplan of the swine housing production system. This production system is established at Muladbucad Pequeño, Guinobatan, Albay, zone 6. The purpose of this production system is to provide animals with a safe place to live and, for the caretakers to gain profit by doing business. The construction process is between 15 to 30 days only considering the materials used must be of proper standards used. It is important to carefully choose the right materials especially when it comes to its walls, roofing, and floors, also considering the convenience and safety of animals.
For the floorings, to prevent the pigs from rooting and digging up, I choose a hard and concrete floor. This is also to provide insulation against cold and damp, and for ease of cleaning to minimize the build-up of diseases and parasites. To avoid injuries, the floor is neither too slippery nor be rough to stepped on. For the walls, I preferred cement blocks since I believe that it safer and can restrain and ensure the protection of the pigs. However, I made sure that it should be smooth enough not too bruise or cause injury to the animals. To give shade and protection against the strong heat of the sun, strong wind from the rain, or any inside and outside variables, I preferred a galvanized corrugated iron sheet for the roofing of the structure. But I made sure that the roof is sufficiently high, at least 1 meter high, so that there is a room for plenty of air movement.
For the main structure of the piggery, the overall area is 3150 square feet, composing of two drainages with the dimension of 1 ft x 75 ft, ten (10) rooms with a 15 ft x 18 ft walls, a 2 ft x 4 ft main entrance and exit, a wallow with 2 ft x 4 ft dimension, and a 4-feet apart passageway. There is also a drainage hole which is connected to the drainage at the side.
For the temperature requirement, I considered first the temperature in the construction area which is here in Muladbucad Pequeño Guinobatan, Albay. The temperature here ranges for about 21 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius which is suitable for the requirement for the pigs. I think it’s only about 30 ̊C because we are near the Mayon Volcano which I think greatly affects the temperature here. The recommended temperature depending on the type of pig sheltered will vary. For sows and boars, weaners, growers, finishers, and for piglets 3 weeks, it is recommended to have at least 30̊C temperature.
Based in Wathes et al. 1983, ASAE 1990, the maximum relative humidity on pig barns should not exceed to 80% so the risk of fungal contamination by mold and mildew is reduced because high relative humidity contributes to pathogenic organism growth and survival and to building and equipment deterioration caused by internal surface condensation. Fortunately, the average temperature here is only 60% therefore permits the construction of the piggery.
It is important to know that different variables, such as temperature, relative humidity, location, and accessibility to primary needs of animals must be prioritized and considered first before the construction process. Neglecting even one variable will eventually bring discomfort and danger to animals, or even to the owner. The proper standards must be observed to prevent injuries, or unexpected events to happen.

It doesn't sound so much bass, and it's quality is really good. It also comes with a different lighting patterns on its sides. I bought this about 85 pesos I think.
**2000 maH Powerbank**
This powerbank was already 10 months old. My sister bought this last November 2020. Remember that 4 consecutive typhoons that hit the Philippines? It took us a month of blackout in our area. We've been struggling for electricity that whole month. So, my sister bought this for us to use it while we took turns in charging in the generator or solar. We don't want our phones to be directly charged on the solar or generator because it might cause defect on the battery of the phone. So far, I can still use it properly just like the first time we've bought it. It's charging time is about 6-8 hours, and can consume 3 cellphones, all fully charged. I think it's amounting to 365 pesos.
**Laminating Machine**
When my sister was still on her college, she needed a printer for her thesis. My mother bought a printer, then after she graduated, we made it a business where we offer photocopy, printing and scanning. We wanted to upgrade our business so we decided to buy a laminating machine since here in our area, there is no one who's offering this. It was quite convenient for us also since we don't have to go to the city for us to have our ID's laminated. Unfortunately, I forgot the amount of this machine.
**Umbrella**
I just bought recently this umbrella. It costs 98 pesos I think. Actually, at first, I want an automatic umbrella, you know the one with a switch where you just click it and it will open, same as when we want to close it? However, I find it quite not comfy because the umbrella is more vulnerable to be destroyed. So, I now, I preferred a manual umbrella. Also, it has a long handle and really is comfy to use.
**Pain-relief Rub**
I am the type of person who got dizzy most of the time. So, I have this pain-relief rub with me always. Actually it comes with a different flavor. I already tried different flavors, and it's ginger time today. For about 125 pesos, it can already last a month because of its size. It was soothing and can really relieve pain and itchiness when applied.
**Aloe Vera Cold Wax**
I know most of the girls can relate to this. Lucky for those girls who don't have to worry about their armpit hairs growing so fast. Hahaha. Actually, this cold wax was effective, AT FIRST. Yeah, we used it and it can really remove hairs, but when we wanted to use it after 2 -3 weeks I think, it's not anymore efficient. It can't pull hairs anymore. It was such a waste because it was still 3/4 full. But, I think, it's just the product I bought. Some reviews says it was worth it.
**Kalimba**
Actually, I did not buy this kalimba. It was a gift for me from my partner. I included it here because he also bought it from shopee amounting to 500+ pesos. He gave it to me on Christmas Day, and I was so happy!!! It was so enjoying to use and I even composed a song through this instrument. IT WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who wanted to learn Kalimba. Every little step is going to a success.!💙
**Sandals**
Yaaaas! I bought this sandals last December 2020. It is my gift to myself. I've been always running errands, or doing services outside so I really decided to buy one of these. I love wearing this kind of sandals because it makes me tall, a little bit HAHAHAHA short person problems. Anyways, it is highly recommended! I bought it for just 250+ I think.
**Shoes**
Another Christmas gift for myself is shoes! I been aiming to buy these kinds of shoes actually. Aside from it makes me a little tall, hahaha, it is also comfortable to use and it matches any outfit I have. Until now, I still use it. It was long lasting as long as you take good care of it. I bought it about 300+ I think.
**Longsleeves**
At first, I was hesitant if I should buy that or not. But since I didn't reached the minimum spend for me to get the voucher, I just included this. Sayang voucher Mars hahaha. I didn't expect much from this dress, but I was amazed when it was delivered. The fabric was so soft and comfy to use. It matches with a short, a palda or even high-waisted pants. I bought it about 56 pesos only.

Shopee Budols (Part 1)
Ever since the lockdown, I became an *online shopping* addict. I've been ordering things that isn't even that important. I don't have much money, but maybe out of boredom, I just wanted to spend and spend everything. Hahaha
I even became a gold member on shopee, going to Platinum level hahaha. Most of the time, I order during sale like, 1.1, 2.2, etc. or payday sale during 15's and 30's. I know every online shoppers here know that especially days. Tell me I'm wrong. 😂
For the part 1 of this shopee budols episode, I will share to you 10 of my budols in shopee.
**Study Table**
This study table is very useful to me, especially that I am on online class for almost a a year and a half. I usually use this when my class in on 7am or 8am. Hahaha when I am still on my bed, getting lazy to get up from bed. I bought for about 150 pesos I think. I already forgot about the price because it's been a while since I bought it. Overall, it's a thumbs-up for this product!
**Wired keyboard**
What I liked about this is the sound of it when I'm typing. It's like an ASMR and it gave me satisfaction whenever I used it. It is accompanied by a mouse which is amazing because it doesn't sound that much when I am clicking on it. I highly recommend this one. I bought this for about 568, including shipping fee and vouchers. But the original price is 548 pesos I think.
**Full-sized mouse pad**
Actually, I have already bought a mousepad which is just the size of this pad. However, it's just a scam. It was too small compared to this. It was a literal **budol**. Fortunately, my sister also bought a mousepad, so I asked her the link of the shop and ordered the same too. I became an addict with these stuffs because I bought a new laptop. Hehe. I bought this for about 99 pesos only, not included the shipping fee.
**Laptop stand**
This is the most comfortable product I bought I think. It made me fixed my posture when I'm using my laptop. It was so comfortable and safe for our laptops. We can adjust it depending on the height we wanted. It was also accompanied by a phone holder which I kept aside because I have a portable one for my phone. I highly recommend this too. I bought this for about 250+ pesos. I already forgot. Hahaha
**Lampstand**
This lampstand is my bestfriend before I go to sleep. I am not used in sleeping with the lights off. But ever since I bought this, this became my light during bedtime. What's amazing with this product is that, I can used it even if there is no current. I can just use the powerbank and plug it into the powerbank, and I can use it already. I also use this when I'm doing my homeworks. I bought this for about 120+ pesos.
**Mini storage box**
This mini bag helps me keep my crochet materials organized. I just recently bought this. It was actually accompanied by another huge storage box where I put my other crochet materials. My mom even told me I should buy more because it's convenient to use. I bought these for about 130+ pesos I think. It was on good condition when I received it.
**Round Casio watch**
This watch is my favorite of all. I just recently bought this with the amount of 750 pesos. I know it's too costly, but this is my gift for my self on my upcoming birthday. I thought I might as well spoil myself a little more. I've been dreaming of buying this for a long time, so when I finally had the chance, I grab it immediately! It was very aesthetically attractive and satisfied my expectations. ❤
**Mini bag**
Actually this mini bag is not for me, I bought it for my mom. But it was too small for her. So I bought her another bag and I asked this for her in exchange of the new bag. It was beautiful however, there is no zipper so I'm afraid that all my things might fall out when I'm too naughty or whenever I'm in a hurry. But the structure of this bag is sturdy. I bought this for about 168 pesos I think.
**Music note necklace**
This necklace have been with me for about 3 years I think. My classmate and I decided to buy this because of our love to music. However, she lost her necklace. Thankfully, I still able to keep it for myself. I always use this whenever I go out, and I'm so comfortable with it. It doesn't even gut rusty even if it is wet. I can't remember how much this cost though. But I know that it's affordable since I got to buy it when I am still on my face to face class.
**Crop top, pants, and sandals**
Yes! Everything I wore that day was from shopee. From my crop top, to my sandals. Even the facemask is from online shop. I became an addict with pants and sandals. Thankfully, it suits my body shape lol. Haha. The cost for my crop top is 58 pesos, my pants is 154 pesos, and my shoes is 358 pesos. As far as I remembered, I bought these stuffs last December 2020, which means, I didn't gained weight nor height nor either the two. Hahaha well. That's life.

What is the role of material selection in machine design?
One of the most critical factors we need to consider in designing a machine is the selection of the materials to be used. This aspect will help engineers plan for any potential consequences that certain materials may have.
Materials selection plays a vital role in the design, acceptance, and manufacturing of a new product. It is a must to know that before doing a certain a project, we must take into consideration the cost of all the materials to be used. And this is where material selection will be considered. In selecting the materials, we should set a goal of having a minimum cost for all the materials, yet still meet the project performance goals. This will be the key to a new product design process. Another thing is that, by material selection, we can enhance the process of engineering design analysis, will make the development faster compared to the initial time allotted, and will give a more successful project.
However, materials must be chosen not just for technical performance but also for user-centered needs for products to be successful. This involves completely considering the various requirements of both technical and industrial designs, which is a difficult task.
Bill of Material and its Steps
As an engineering student, we are into constructions of structures and buildings. Alongside with it, we are more engaged to the money that will be used and its cost estimation. Our professor gave us an activity where in, we are tasked to know more about Bill of Materials and the steps on how to make one.

**BILL OF MATERIALS**
**I. INTRODUCTION**
A bill of materials (BOM) is a comprehensive list of parts, items, assemblies, subassemblies, intermediate assemblies, documents, drawings, and other materials required to create a product. The BOM can be thought of as the recipe used to create a finished product, presented in a hierarchical format. Depending on the product, it may include mechanical (hardware), electrical (e.g., ICs, PCBAs), software, and related documents and drawings.
An engineering bill of materials is also defined as the design of the finished product. It includes all alternative and substitute part numbers and parts contained in the drawing notes. Every line of the bill of materials (BOM) includes the product code, part name, part number, part revision, description, quantity, unit of measure, size, length, weight, and specifications or features of the product. The engineering BOM is often organized by engineers based on a computer-aided design (CAD) drawing. For a finished product, there may be more than one engineering BOM created. This is a part of product lifecycle management.
**What is Included in the Bill of Materials?**

· **Earth works.** This involves all the labor used in processing parts of the land’s surface. It includes:

· **Concrete and masonry works**. This involves all the labor and materials used in forming the skeleton frame of the house. It includes:

· **Steel and reinforcement works.** This involves all the labor and materials used in strengthening the structure of the house. It includes:

§ Slabs
· **Architectural works.** This involves all the labor and materials used in completing the architecture of the house. It includes:

§ Wall finishes
§ Ceiling finishes
§ Doors

· **Electrical works.** This involves all the labor and materials used in installing power apparatus and equipment. It includes:
§ Roughing in

· **Plumbing works.** This involves all the labor and materials used in installing the system of pipes and tanks required for water supply and sanitation. It includes:
§ Fixtures (faucet, shower valve, floor drain, shower drain, kitchen sink)

· **Painting works.** This involves the labor and materials used in finishing the house.
**II. RATIONALE**
**Importance of Bill of Materials**
· A BOM list is necessary when building a product and ordering replacement parts and reduces possible issues if product repairs are required. It helps to plan for acquisition orders and reduces the possibility of errors.
· It tells how much exactly the construction is. With this, you’ll be able to make the financial preparations required to complete the project. Moreover, you know where your money will be spent.
· It allows you to check the quality of the build. Given that the items to be used will be itemized, you’ll have a rough idea of the strength, durability, or even the energy-efficiency of your walls, roofs, and ceilings. You can check whether the materials to be used match or did not match the build you’re envisioning for your home.
· It’s required by the local government. To get a building permit and start your construction, you must submit a copy of the bill of materials to your local government.
· By providing a single record of the materials, components and assemblies that go into the product, a bill of materials ensures these items are in-house when needed and at the quantities required during production. This minimizes inventory inaccuracies and production delays, both of which cost time and money.
· Bills of materials also ensure uniformity. When each production run follows the same BOM, the products themselves remain consistent. This helps ensure they meet customer expectations and is critical when products need to meet safety or other standards.
· The information contained within BOMs also is key when it becomes necessary to track product failures. With this document, it’s possible to identify the parts, materials and components used and zero in on potential sources of failures. Manually preparing and managing BOMs can quickly become unwieldy and error prone. Software, such as a supply chain and inventory management solution, can help automate the development process.
**III. STEPS IN CREATING BILL OF MATERIALS**
**1. Answer the Critical Questions**
Before creating a BOM for your next product, you should have the answers to the following questions:
· **What’s being built?**
The design is really what kicks off a BOM in most capacities. Depending on the complexity of the program or build, there will usually be multiple BOMs. These will create the finished assembly BOM. Start by compiling as much information as possible about the parts you need as the designs progress. Understanding what’s being built and/or the program design will be the key to creating a successful BOM.
· **How will the BOM be managed?**
As the BOM is created, it’ll likely go through multiple revisions and touch many different departments and people. Before creating the actual BOM, establish a system for managing it and ensure the latest version is used. Always track changes and create identifiers for the different versions. The less people allowed to interact with or edit the document, the better. It’s a good idea to decide ahead of time who’ll be responsible for what tasks to avoid confusion down the road.
· **Who can access and use it?**
Due to the range of information the document includes, it’s likely multiple departments – including but not limited to design, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing – will use it at some point during the production process. Having an idea of who requires BOM access will help maintain that the correct information is included.
· **What information should be included?**
Although the specifics aren’t required at this point, you should have an idea of what categories the document will include. Every BOM should consist of some basics, such as part name and quantity, but other items are optional (we’ll cover these in another blog in the future). Regardless of the information determined to include in the BOM, keep in mind that it should be as detailed as possible.
· **How should the BOM be organized?**
It’s helpful to decide on basic organization strategies before you begin. Consider the following: number of levels and sub-assemblies; items assembled, separately, and then attached to the main assembly; and outside processing or other special designations. Ensure parent and child parts are aligned accordingly.
· **What program will be used to create the BOM?**
Before a BOM can be created, you need to decide which software application to use to maximize your team’s productivity. Excel is probably the most used, but not necessarily the most effective. As projects become more complex, there may be a need for more advanced spreadsheet-style and/or collaborative web-based applications specifically designed for BOMs, like Plan for Every Part (PFEP) software.
**2. Create the Document**
Open the program planned for use and create a new spreadsheet document. Name the file and put the name of the project and any other important identifying information in the title and at the top of the document. For example, “Company Name – Program Name – Assembly – Date”.
**3. Organize the Document**
Establish user permissions, set up change tracking, and create any levels required. Organization throughout the BOM process will be necessary as it’ll be an ongoing activity. Be consistent with organization.
**4. Fill in the Columns**
Populate the names of the categories at the top of the columns. These titles will include things such as part name, quantity, part number, etc.
**5. Fill in the Rows**
Populate the rows with information according to the category of the column. Each assembly, sub-assembly, part, process, etc. will have a separate row. Ensuring that information is accurate and up to date is critical to the success of the project.
**6. Update as Needed**
Update the information in your BOM as necessary. As the file is prepared, remember to save it often and keep a record of changes. As more information is learned on a given project or build, changes will be required. Flexibility is key throughout the production process.
**IV. CONCLUSIONS**
Bill of materials is like a cooking recipe. For example, you’re just a beginner in terms of cooking, then you’re trying to cook without recipe. Will you be able to cook successfully? The recipe provides the ingredients needed along with the quantities required. It also provides instructions on how to combine the ingredients as well as how to combine them and the cooking times and temperatures required. Without a recipe, the cake will almost certainly be a flop.
It therefore is obvious that a well thought out and detailed BOM is a vital part in the construction industry. Without it, the project is likely to be incorrectly costed and suffer major stock shortages and delays, to mention just two of the main problems. An accurate, complete BOM helps identify the cause of a product failure and work quickly to replace the faulty parts, materials, and components.

Each of us has our own definition of **luck** and **misfortune** depending on what we have experience during the past years of our life. Maybe some events that happened to us is considered as luck and but for some, is not.
Most of the people depend on luck whenever they are going to do something that will change their life. Or even on smallest things such as, winning a raffle draw. We all depend on luck whenever we are not sure of the decision we made and of what's going to happen.
Since we are not sure of everything, we depend our life on the nature of destiny and luck. We tend to be dependent on what time can bring.
Some of us are born with purely luck, and some are born with misfortune life. We cannot do anything about it at first, unless we decided to fight against misfortune and luck. The day we decide that our life won't depend on these two, starts when we finally conquer our fear and accept whatever might happen to us.

Drip Irrigation System Project Proposal

What I will share with you today is about the irrigation system I proposed in one of the farms here in our barangay which I think needed a proper irrigation system. I am not yet good at estimation and such but I think it is still realistic and doable.
**DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM PROJECT PROPOSAL**
Drip irrigation is the most efficient water and nutrient delivery system for growing crops. It delivers water and nutrients directly to the plant’s roots zone, in the right amounts, at the right time, so each plant gets exactly what it needs, when it needs it, to grow optimally. Thanks to drip irrigation, farmers can produce higher yields while saving on water as well as fertilizers, energy and even crop protection products.
In our barangay, our source of water came from spring or *burabod*. However, when it come to our farm, there is a lack of water supply even though the water supply is sufficient to household supplies. There is no proper irrigation and as I asked a farmer, they say that the rain is their only source of water and during hot season, they are having difficulty in their farm. Actually, there is a water tank located near the farm however, it was allotted to the faucet in every Purok. That is why, I wanted to propose a drip irrigation for their rice field.
During my research, I found out that drip irrigation is more suitable for rice field. In drip irrigation, you can reach a yield of 8 – 12 tons/ha which is a 50% production increase over production with flood/ surface irrigation.
**How does a drip irrigation work?**
Water and nutrients are delivered across the field in pipes called ‘dripper lines’ featuring smaller units known as ‘drippers’. Each dripper emits drops containing water and fertilizers, resulting in the uniform application of water and nutrients direct to each plant's root zone, across an entire field.
**Importance of Drip Irrigation**
Reduce impact of drought and climate change on food production
Avoid contamination of ground water and rivers caused by fertilizer leaching
Support rural communities, reduce poverty, reduce migration to cities
Plants are more productive with drip irrigation:
High availability of water and nutrients
Doses of water and nutrients tailored to plant’s development needs
No saturation and good soil aeration
Avoids high salinity caused by excessive fertilizer application
No wetting of foliage that can result in fungal diseases
Farmers prefer drip irrigation
Higher consistent quality yields
Huge water savings: no evaporation, no run off, no waste
100% land utilization - drip irrigates uniformly in any topography and soil type
Energy savings: drip irrigation works on low pressure
Efficient use of fertilizer and crop protection, with no leaching
Less dependency on weather, greater stability and lower risk.
**Description of the Irrigation System**
The design of the drip irrigation system is located in Purok 4 Muladbucad Pequeño, Guinobatan Albay. The drip irrigation system construction site had an area of approximately eight hundred sixty-five square meters (865 sq.m.). The source for the drip irrigation system came from a spring located near the area, venturi where the fertilizer injected for the nutrients of the crops, sand filter to filter the purities in the water that will distribute in the field, pipe to be used as the channel flow for the distribution of water, irrigation valves helps to control the flow of the water, drip tubes connected to the main pipe and it helps to distribute the water by rows in the bed or in the field and the drip emitters to control the water needed in the crops.
Based on the computed drip line rate and water application rate, the drip irrigation system emitter need an 8.95 inches in length per hour of water per run. On the other hand, it requires 0.14 inches per hour of water application to satisfy the need of the plants in regards to its drip line rate.

My personal VMGO
During our schooling days, our professors would always want us to know and memorize our school's vision, mission, goals and objectives, also known as VMGO. Because of this, I came up with an idea of creating my own VMGO.
**VISION**
I am the type of student who doesn't always focus on acad-related stuffs. I believe that being so conscious with my academic stuff will just make me go crazy and stressed. I want to engage myself to non-academe stuff and discover something new - something that I will not expect to do.
**MISSION**
I'm always looking at a bigger picture where I can help my fellow youths discover that they can do things that can improve not just their personal self but also their social life. This day forward has been full of issues about youths that goes out of their ways - youths that has been engaged into unwanted things which made them lose their missions in life. And that's exactly what I wanted not to happen in the next gen.
**GOALS**
The goals we set will make us feel motivated and dedicated to do the things we want. To make everything short, I just wanted to be in an environment where I can share my talent and help others. It might not be a big environment, but I'd rather start with something small, then we will grow all together.

Coconut Copra Deshelling Machine
The start of the week has not been good to me. Yesterday, I fell very ill and can't even had dinner last night. I had severe body pain and headache. I just took a rest and took also some medicine. Tonight, I can't properly think of a topic I can share with you, but upon organizing my files, I found my project last July, 2021 on my files. I've decided to share it with you too.
**Coconut Copra Deshelling Machine**
**Introduction**
Coconut, *Cocos nucifera L.,* is a tree that is cultivated for its multiple utilities, mainly for its nutritional and medicinal values. The various products of coconut include tender coconut water, copra, coconut oil, raw kernel, coconut cake, coconut toddy, coconut shell and wood based products, coconut leaves, coir pith etc. All of its part are used in some way or another in the daily life of the people in the traditional coconut growing areas. It is the unique source of various natural products for the development of medicines against various diseases and for the development of industrial products.
One of its products include copra. Copra is used as a raw material of coconut oil and exported commodity. In 2012, the Philippines exported more than 1.5-million metric tons of copra, coconut oil, copra meal, desiccated coconut, coco shell charcoal, and activated carbon and coco chemicals, a 1.49 per cent increase compared to the volume exported in 2011. In 1989, it produced 11.8 million tons and at the time was the second largest producer but has since surpassed Indonesia. In 1989, coconut products, coconut oil, copra (dried coconut), and desiccated coconut accounted for approximately 6.7 percent of Philippine exports. By 1995, the production of coconut in the Philippines had experienced a 6.5% annual growth and later surpassed Indonesia in total output in the world.
Coconut production have been in the food industry for about decades. As time goes by, machines are invented, fully and semi mechanized, that made production a lot easier and faster. It is undeniably proven that a more modernized technology improves the production and quality of products. Alongside with the various products of coconut is the copra, the dried coconut kernels from which oil is obtained.
For years, deshelling coconut to obtain copra was done manually, then improved to a semi-mechanized machine for an easier way of deshelling. However, the demand for coconut production continues to rise so we need advanced machines that can keep up with the increasing demands.
**What is a coconut copra-deshelling machine?**
Coconut copra deshelling machine is an innovative idea of the normal deshelling machine, however, this is a fully-mechanized machine. It was designed to remove the copra from the coconut shell after it has undergone with some procedures such as smoke drying, sun drying, or kiln drying.
**Description of the Machine**
The Coconut Copra Deshelling machine is made up of the following 5 major units namely the: (1) Deshelling drum, (2) discharging unit, (3) supporting unit, (4) driving unit and (5) auxiliary unit.
**1. Deshelling Drum**
Deshelling drum is the part of the machine where the coconut copra are loaded. It is made of bars with the length of 90 centimeters. The drum is made up of 24 bars. It is assembled in the upper middle, which is the main component of the machine.
**2. Discharging Unit**
Discharging unit is the part of the machine attached to the deshelling drum. It has the dimension of 40 cm x 13.2 cm. This unit is like an opening in the deshelling unit.
**3. Supporting Unit**
It is the overall support (frame and base) of the machine made of angle bars and stainless sheet. It is a structure made for admitting, enclosing, or supporting the entire load of the machine.
**3.1 Frame.** Frame has the dimension of 148.8 cm x 77.0 cm that supports the main and other components of the machine.
**3.2 Base.** Base has the dimension of 100.2 cm x 77.0 cm, which serves as the bottom support of the machine’s entire body. It supports the weight of the machine and lessens the vibration while on operation.
**4. Driving Unit**
Driving unit serves as the prime mover of the machine, powered by a 2-hp motor.
**4.1 Speed Reducer.** Speed reducer is a gear train attached between the motor and the machinery that is used to reduce the speed with which the power is transmitted.
**5. Auxiliary Unit**
The machine is equipped with lockable wheels for ease of transport.

I came up with this idea because I have experienced it myself - deshelling copra manually. We have our own coconut farm and we usually use manual operation.
I have tried to create a 3D version of the machine through sketchup pro 2020 but it's not yet official since it's just an estimate. I hope I can pursue it soon. :)

Decide what you deserved

As you woke up today, have you ever wondered on what are the things that you deserves? What I mean is that, we know that there are things that we deserve to have, and things we don't.
Sometimes, the mentality of human is that, we deserve everything as long as we worked for it and we did everything to have it. Some thinks that we will just get what we deserve without trying anything.
Getting what we deserve doesn't always mean it's on the positive side. Let's talk about it more...
When we do something great, whether it's for our self or for others, we usually get something in return. There's a saying that says, **"What you do, will come back to you".** When you do good, others will also do good on you, when you do bad things, something bad will also happen to you. Just like what our golden rule said, **"Do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you".**
The reason why I write an article like this is because of a quotation I saw the other day on one of my friend's status. It says that **"The minute you settle for** ***less than you deserve,*** **you get even less than you settled for."**
Let's talk about settling for less than we deserve. For an example, I can visualize this as a teenager settling for what her parents want her to do. She was locked in a room with no space for improvement. She was stuck to do things that is a pleasure for others, but not for herself. He became great at it, but also became unfamiliar with the things outside that room. She managed just to do things that is on her comfort zone. The result? She settled herself in that tiny room where what she settled, will make her deserve less than what her life can truly bring.
Life is about exploring things. Let our confusions lead us to something that will open an opportunity to us to have more than what we think we deserve. It is all about us. Your action will decide on what the things you deserve because I believe that every action we take, corresponds things that we deserve.
Remember that it's not only the good things, just like **karma.** We always believe that karma is a bad thing. For example, when someone do harm to you, you will just say "there's always karma". There are two types of karma - the good and bad karma. Whether what we get with that two, is what we decided for us to deserve.
Different person, different coping mechanisms

It will always be a struggle whenever we face something that is not in our plans. There are time when we question our purpose in life - if we are still worthy of the life we have. We have different personalities, and different ways on how to deal with life.
As a student, I am currently at the edge of forcing myself to do this and that. I am forced because I don't have my own will to do so. I can't decide on my own and that makes me feel like I'm a little bit out of place right now. I wanted to do things, but I don't know when and where to start.
When it comes to problems, sometimes, fear comes first for me. I was dominated by fear, and I can think properly. I always have these mixed emotions that led me to something I am not ready of. I am just a coward girl.
**THAT WAS ALL BEFORE...**
Before, I was not sure of anything. I always doubt and cry. I can't even trust myself towards things and decision makings. But now, I know that I have changed for good.
I learned to trust myself and do things on my own. I learned that everything that comes to me is something I can handle on my own. I believe that I got the nerves and guts to survive it. I learned to cope up with the situation that I am in. It wasn't easy, but it's quite a process.
Everything takes time, as they always say. I learned that you can't force something to be done easily, but if you really want it to happen, starting a single step is a great start.
I have known some people who are just the same as me. They can't also keep up with their own behavior. They are also struggling and trying to blend in the society. And I believe that it's something they have gone through to be where they are right now.
We, as humans, have different mentality and different ways of dealing with things. Some of us just wanted to be cool about it, some have their breakdowns and hopeless days, some can easily adopt with the changes, some are starting their steps little by little, some undergone depressions and anxieties, and some became an extremely different person.
As for me, I just wanted to be cool about it, but I really can't. I always feel depressed and stressed at the same time. But I tend not to make it obvious in front of my family. I'm a jolly person and I believe that it's what I meant to be. What I do is **to let time heal everything**. I believe that through time, I can think and decide without regretting it in the future. I just make myself busy with some things that makes me forget that I am going through that hardship. It's not easy, but I manage to stay in track by doing that.
No matter how differ we are from others, what matters the most is that we took a move in everything that hinders us in becoming who we are. We are urged to do things that can motivate us and change our lives. We are not stagnant. We are self-moving object that makes his way to go through that door of success.

For the past month, I've been into this new hobby I discovered through the idea of my friend. I introduced it here last July 24, 2021 by publishing an article entitled "New Hobby Unlocked!". I was so overwhelmed at that time because many people supported me. Month of August had been so good to me! I had lots of orders. In fact, I was able to earn more than I expected. I started out by having orders of 3 - 5 pieces of ***alcopouch crochet bottle.*** Until, one of my sister's friend ordered 25 pieces of alcopouch for their niece's christening day. It will serve as their souvenirs for the guests.
I am so happy that I immediately accepted her orders. I let her choose the colors, then I ordered it through shoppee. I have this trusted store where I buy all my stuff in crochet. You can comment down if you also want to know the store.
Going back, my yarn arrived after 4 days. Which means, I only have 7 days to finish the orders. I estimated that I can finish 5-7 pieces per day, if there are no unexpected circumstances. For 2 days, I have finished 10 pieces. But since I also have online class, I need to double my time in doing my orders.
A finished everything a day before the event. I was able to deliver it to her and she was really satisfied with it. Here are some of the pictures on my orders. 😍

Time is passing quickly, and technology is constantly evolving. These two innovations appear to be related to each other that they must exist for the same reason: to meet people's ever-increasing demands. As a student of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, I believe there is more to today's technologies. To be more particular, I'm referring to agricultural and biosystems machines, as these are the focus of my career. Despite the difficulty of adjusting to the new way of learning, I became intrigued about how a machine works and what the specifications and conditions are for it to consistently deliver a sufficient quantity of products for society.
When designing a machine, we often consider what must happen inside the machine, what mechanics are involved, and how it will function. Taking into account all of these concepts and variables, we are now considering the design of the machine we intend to build. In general, machine design is involved with the construction of power sources and functional mechanisms. It is the single most significant task, focusing on the machine's mechanical behavior, elements, and production procedures.
Machine designers frequently spend the majority of their time and effort on concerns of applications and functions, usually under decreasing space requirements. That is, the designer must always strive to satisfy the customer's desires in terms of adaptation to the surroundings, as well as to lessen size limitations. Other considerations are not necessarily less important, but they are secondary in the sense that form and function are normally fixed in the designer's mind first. Appropriate layouts must confirm that the proposed item will not take up space already reserved for other objects, that it will be able to reach or attach to other sections of the system, and that it can be assembled. Because design is the initial step toward manufacturing, potential designers should have some background in manufacturing and industrial engineering. As a result of the gap that always exists between what industry would like to produce and what is now practicable, it is a demanding operation. Being Unlucky means Dealing with Several Issues

We all have distinct opportunities, time constraints, and opportunities. We each have our own set of difficulties to overcome and lives to live. As a developing adult, I have less experience and opportunity than those who fight for their life on the field. They are fortunate to have survived despite the odds. And I was fortunate in that I now have more time for myself, which I plan to use till the end. Life can have a bitter finish, which is something I hope never happens to me. But how would we find out?
Time. When we think of time, we always think of a clock that turns 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is an unending occurrence in which we wish we could know the limit yet end up exceeding it. It is the seemingly inexorable succession of existence and events that occur from the past, through the present, and into the future. It is a component quantity of many measurements that are used to sequence events, compare the duration of occurrences or gaps between them, and quantify the rates of change of quantities in material reality or conscious experience. Along with three spatial dimensions, time is frequently referred to as a fourth dimension.
Time has long been a major theme in our lives. Nonetheless, various fields all incorporate some concept of time into their particular measuring systems. Time is very important. Time assists us in developing the habit of arranging and organizing our everyday activities. You can gain experience and improve talents through time if you appreciate the value of time better. Because you can't get it back, time is the most valuable resource.
Chances and opportunities, on the other hand, come and go. It appears at the most inopportune times in our life, and we sometimes discover later that we require it. The two words are nearly identical. Taking a chance, on the other hand, is not the same as taking an opportunity. "Taking a chance" is undertaking something with a high risk of failure; you are betting on something that could go wrong. "Taking an opportunity" means grabbing an opportunity to enhance your position in some way.
In other cases, "Chance" will refer to a neutral event with some uncertainty, and "Opportunity" will still relate to the prospect of doing something that benefits you. People and organizations grow and develop to the extent that they seize possibilities for growth and development. Opportunities matter to leaders because they matter to the people they lead. But keep in mind that not every opportunity is meant for you. I'm just a regular girl that seizes any chance that comes her way. So typical to the point that I'm constantly being rejected and unwanted. I wasn't blaming anyone for my personal experience. I recognize that it was my fault for not giving it my all in order to obtain it. However, I am still a flawed human being with defects and unpleasant feelings. I envy others for having such a perfect existence, for being the darling of fate, and for being fortunate. Why do some people have more opportunities than I do? Why do I get no praise or support while everyone else does? And why is it that everyone else is so fortunate to have so many resources, when I have nothing but myself to sustain what I have? It was just too strange for me to have this experience, so random that I almost slumped to the ground and gave up.
Many people believe that other people's good circumstances are due to luck, whereas their personal losses are due to ill luck. True, some people are born with advantages, and some things happen to us that are beyond our control. There's always something you can do to improve what you've got. You might get lucky if you open yourself up to new experiences, cultivate gratitude, and break out of your routine. Fortunately, I have a deep belief in Him. I'm confident he has a greater plan in mind for me that I deserve. I didn't post this to spread hate or hostility. I wrote this to let everyone know that it's okay to feel low and depressed for a moment. Don't be afraid to cry when you open your mouth. We all have varied amounts of time and resources. Let us put our faith in Him and wait our turn.
Things I am thankful for
For the past week, I've realized that I became inactive here and lots of things happened. There are unexpected events that certainly changed my life. It's unexpected, yet reasonable and acceptable.
My last post here was August 5. Actually I have a pending article which I didn't able to finish because of some stuffs to do. And now, I am officially back again.
During the past week, there are things that made me happy, as well as sad. I received so much blessings that I believe is a gift from God. As what I believed, everything has its own reasons. Let us first talk about the happy things that happened to me.

August 1, 2021. We got home from a whole day service in Church. I've already mentioned in my previous article about my new hobby crochet that the priests in our parish will be transferred out to new parishes. That day was their last day, so we decided to join them with their last mass in the barangay.
The things that made me happy that day is how Father Ever **appreciated** my gift to him. It is not that great, but I put my effort in the process of making it. It made me so glad and at the same time, sad because of the thought that it may be our last time seeing each other.
Other than that, what really made me happy is the great news from my sister after we went home. The news is that, **she is finally 6 weeks pregnant!** It was such a huge blessing! They have been married for 8 months, and finally, their number 3 came. I just can't wait to be their Tita who will make her cry or spoil her hahahaha, well that our roles.
The past week flew so fast. I didn't even noticed that it's already enrolment. August 9 is our first day of classes. There are no proper classes during the first week, but there are some surveys and google forms given that we need to accomplish.
**Unexpected Things**
August 12, 2021, 10:19 am. This is another day that no one in our family will ever forget. Our Uncle, my mother's sister's husband, died because of so much complication in his body. He has been hospitalized since November 2020. He became outpatient but still needs to go to hospital. He returned to hospital about 5 times already.
On March 2021, he started his dialysis. He has dialysis 3 times a week. It was so painful to watch him suffering like that. We really don't know why this happened because he was such a good man. He never smoke, and only drink liquor when there's occasion. He was a good uncle and a great grandfather.
He ended his suffering last August 12, and it's his 7th day of wake today.
On his 4th day, we offered songs and prayers for his peaceful journey.
I'm the one who plays the keyboard. I can't even play normally because of the emotions I felt. My tita, the one with the black dress with polkadots, is his wife. She was crying as we offer the songs which also made me tear up.
Despite what happened, we are still blessed to be part of his life for the past 63 years. He will never be forgotten. We are still happy that he has already rested. He will not suffer anymore.
When something bad or sad happened to us, there will always be something good in return that's why we tend to worry less. I believe in God and I know that everything has purpose.
Before my Uncle passed away, I received a messenger chat which says good news. I have been waiting for it every year since I am a first year college student. Yes! I am a scholar of CHED under Gender and Development. I have a full-merit scholarship which will last until I graduate. I will received 30k every year which will be a great help for me. And yes, I've finally received my stipend.
I always wanted to have my own laptop. The laptop that I am using for the past 3 years was owned by my older sister. There are times when we both need the laptop but one will sacrifice. And now, my dream became true.
I FINALLY BOUGHT MY OWN LAPTOP!!! YEEEEY!!!! <3
I am really so happy and glad. Right now, I am using it in writing this article. :)
**Realizations**
Things might not go as we planned it to be. We may feel betrayed but it doesn't end here. We are just starting the real battle in life. You can never predict your future, thus, you can never decide what you're going to be. Everything is in God's hand so let's just trust him. We may lose someone we dearly love, but I am sure that there will be something good in return.
You might have a huge problem, but remember that it will not be given to you unless you can't surpass it. Life is all about **positivity**. Never think of anything that is against your will and everything will fall into its right places. Just believe in Him, and to yourself.
I know that we are suffering from different burdens but remember that everyone has his own burden to take but it doesn't make you big or small no matter what. Just live your life the way you can be.

I wanted to help. But how?
One of my biggest dream is to **help my family.** I know I am not the only one who's goal is like that. We always wanted the best for them and I think that's something to be proud of.
My family is struggling financially now that's why I am so thankful to this platform because I can earn money and buy my necessities with my own hardwork. I don't want to burden them anymore.
Few days ago, my mother told my brother to ask for a loan because I badly needed laptop, and so my little sister. The laptop I am using is from DepEd and it was lent to my sister who is a teacher. I am not comfortable using it because I might destroy it or something else.
So, my brother applied for a loan, about Php 20k. It was not enough. We are still waiting for my stipend from my scholarship which is also worth 30k. I am also so thankful to CHED Stufaps for guarantying me a full-merit scholarship. The money that I will get from CHED will be added to the 20k to buy a new laptop. My mother already canvass the prices and it ranges to 35k - 40k. There are still about 10k left, which is allotted for my thesis.
Struggling financially is a serious problem. Our family was struggling different situations.
My brother resigned from his work because it is not safe there anymore.
My older sister enrolled for her masters and will work on her thesis which will cost more or less one hundred thousand pesos (Php 100,000).
On my case, I need a laptop for my education.
My Tito has been hospitalized for almost 9 months and bedridden.
My Tita has been into a vehicle accident and taking her rest now.
My older brother in Pampanga is also struggling between his work and health.
As I write those situations above, I realized how still blessed we are. Despite these situations, we still managed to live peacefully. Yes, there are so many worries ahead but everything seems to just go smoothly.
I know there are reasons for this and I am still hoping on God's plans.
As a student, I know that my capabilities are still lacking. I still don't know how life works on reality, or even know if what job I am capable with.
This platform helped me find my place. I do love writing and I can even earn money for doing something I love.

Doing this small business is really a new environment for us. It is not easy to build the confidence of doing business because others may bring us down or mock us. We are taking things slowly until we finally finalize our ideas and goals.

For my past and recent progress, I have already created 4 alcohol bottle pouch. I am so happy and satisfied at the same time. My little sister is also trying to learn this hobby and I am so happy that she had the interest also.
It is not yet finished because I still have to attached buttons there but my order is not yet coming so I still have to wait. As of now, I am still doing some crochet and hoping to create more soonest.

Have you ever wondered if things around us can talk? If only they can say their feelings towards humans, on how happy, mad or sad they are... If only...
Starting from this thing called **keyboards.** Keyboard serves as an **input device** connected to a computer or monitor. Just like now, I'm using keyboard to input these ideas I have that I want to share with you. Right now, I am using the keyboard of my laptop, and some of us uses the keyboards of our cellphones to convey our ideas or thoughts. Simply, keyboard became the medium of our communication in this modern world.
One time in my life, I wondered why keyboards are called keyboards. Actually I am not familiar with keyboards or any electronic devices 5 years ago, when I was 16 years old. My first cellphone was when I was entering my Senior high school life. I didn't even had the chance before to post my feelings on social media unlike the teenagers nowadays where rants and everyday events are being posted internationally.
As I think further, I realized why keyboard is called keyboards. **Control** yourself - control yourself from the things that made you forget your true goals of your dreams.
Look for **alternative** solutions - never limit your abilities to the things around you. There are so many things you can use as an alternative solutions. Sometimes, the best solution is not the best.
**Delete** the situation which gives you tension - remove all the things that worries or stresses you. Keep a positive attitude towards situations.

Ever since the first lockdown due to covid-19, I've exposed myself to gadgets especially cellphone and laptop. In other words, my hands were always been occupied with thoughts that can only come out when I type. Through the days, I made myself familiar with keyboard.
ps. I even played the typing game here in my laptop just to be familiar with the placement of letters...
**If keyboards could talk** I'm sure he will tell me to stop using him for a moment especially during cramming days where every second is any minute of death. I'm sure, my keyboard is thanking who ever call my name and ask me for an errand.

But sometimes people will treat you like a scraper
Used to scoop dirt, then put you in a crater
A paper as light as it can be
But holds a bigger and deeper memory
Sweet messages are written for free
Oh, I love to be a part of their story
Anything can be written on you
It's either lessons, notes, messages or anything new
You will be as important as their shoe
Because only you knows what's true
The life of a paper maybe like yours
Full of mistakes, sometimes unsure
Always afraid never feel reassure
But the question is, how much can we endure?
Everything will be written on you
Everyone will depend on you
But how much can you carry them?
When you yourself don't know if you're really a gem?
