First Day of August Adventure I don't know actually where to start this article. Maybe I'll start this with this thought **"Yesterday was not just the first day of the month, but also the first Sunday of the month".** Last Saturday, the last day of July, I had some unexpected plans and I had to deal with it. Everything goes smoothly. On the evening, I prepared a gift for a priest in our parish because he will leave on Monday for his new assignment. I decided to give him an alcohol bottle with a crochet bag. I had difficulty learning how to do crochet but a big help to youtube. :) Here is the crochet I am working on. I should have finished my gift here, but I decided to include some pictures too. It's not what you think, like putting picture in the bottle. It is a separate one. I made a picture collage and I hope Father will love it. <3 **Sunday, August 1, 2021** I woke up around 5am. I only had 3 hours of sleep because I finished my work around 2am. My headaches really bad so I took my breakfast and drink my medicine for pain reliever. After that, I prepared myself. Took a bath, change clothes, then prepare everything. I really made sure not to forget my gift. I had to commute yesterday because my sister, who have a motorcycle, is not feeling well because she went to the dentist last Saturday to have her tooth extracted. I left our house around 6:08 am. I took a photo when I was on my way. I had a caption there, saying *"Ngayon nalang ulit".* It's been months since I last ride a tricycle. We already have our private vehicle that's why I tend to now commute anymore. Fast forward, I arrived at Church at around 6:28. Gladly, the mass hasn't started yet. Around 7:40am, the mass has ended. My partner will have his first day of work today, Monday, so we decided to take a day of adventure. He will be gone for about a month. We first went to Jollibee and bought some breakfast. We wanted to make the most of our day so we decided to spent as much as we can. Hehe I had some pictures here so enjoy taking a look. :) Just read every caption. For the next pictures, these are the pictures of flowers and views I captured. I just had fun taking these pictures so I decided to include them in my collections. :) Ps. I really included the water mark of the phone for me to prove I really had captured them Hahaha We don't want to go yet but we still have appointments in the afternoon. My mother asked me to buy some groceries and ingredients because she's going to cook a little for a simple celebration. Around 11:30, we finished buying everything so we finally headed home. After arriving, we took a rest and even fell on a nap. We had our lunch at 12:30. Father Ever, our closest friend priest, asked us if we can join him to serve in two barangays around 2:30 and 4pm. We agreed so we prepared ourselves. We arrived at church around 2:30 pm. We were just in time. We attended two holy mass. At the end of th4pm mass, we took our last photo with Father. **Realizations** **People come and go.** It's been 3 years since Father Ever came here in our parish. **Time flew so fast.** He is such a good friend. Whenever he's sharing his homily, everyone was listening. He even included jokes in his homily to make people listen to him and pay attention to what he's saying. His technique is really unique. After that day, I realized that there are people who will just pass by in our life, but will not stay. It's hard to bid goodbye but we must too. Not just when it comes to friendship, but also in other kinds of relationships. Whenever we have to leave someone, or someone needed to leave us, we always cry. We feel as if everyone left has because that someone is already your world. In relationships, there are no such thing as **always happy.** Being happy always means imbalance for me. It's not neutral. It's just like, having the same set of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nothing new, nothing exciting. We need to experience every single emotions we have. In the recent Korean drama I watched, entitled "My Roommate is a Gumiho", the gumiho there has been living for almost 999 years and still not transformed into a human being. He had this red marble stone that turns blue when he is in the door in becoming a human. However, he thought that what will turn him into human is the human energy, but he's wrong. What will turn him into human is **humanity.** He needs to know the feelings of humans, the emotions they possess, the experiences that teaches us. At the end, he slowly learned all those emotions, and he's one biggest sacrifice finally made him into human. Expressing emotions is natural for us. That's why, whenever someone is making efforts for us, we feel happy. When we hurt someone, we feel guilty. When someone, left us, we are sad and crying. These are all natural, and it's also natural to move on from these emotions. It maybe hard, but it will be worth it. We felt sad but when we remember all the memories, the sadness we felt gradually changes into happiness. I heard someone say, "We felt sad when our loved ones left as because of what we called **memories**". And then it hit me. Indeed. Memories brings back the good and bad times, that's why we can never escape our reality. On the other hand, being appreciated is the best gift ever. As I said here earlier, I decided to give Father Ever a simple gift and here is his response. I still had a lot to say and share, but I guess I'll end it here. I hope you also have some of our realizations. It's really great to think about it sometimes. It feels refreshing. All presented pictures are owned by yours truly. :)

--- In a cold, dark night You visited me and embraced me tight I can't breathe, I can't sleep Why am I thinking so deep? Some called you anxiety, Some called you overthinking Or insomnia I can't foresee Just by staring at this blank ceiling I had lots of thoughts Expectations and disappointments And that lingering thoughts Broke my peace and moment It's 1:30 am already I can't control my body Something pulls me off To avoid resting, it makes me so soft I hope you stay away From my resting moment 'coz the night is what makes me sway In a day full of struggles and excitement.
An Achievement WORTH Sharing Achievement is one of the reason why we strive harder that we thought we can. We want to **achieve** something that's why we're doing everything we can just to get that thing. It is something that pay offs our hard works and sacrifices in life. March 13, 2020 - the day that classes, works and other outside activities got postponed. It feels like yesterday. Time flew so fast and the fact that we can still manage to survive today, is indeed a great **blessing.** For a student like me, nothing is more contenting than achieving our goals in life as future professionals. For a simple basis, like submitting a project or assignment, is already a small achievement for us. Especially that activities are too much loaded to us compared when we have our classes at school. **Struggles are real, patience have gotten shorter, anxieties went up, stress visited us, and even "what ifs" started to be our biggest question.** The school should end at June 2020, but because of the unexpected pandemic, the school year was forced to end. We made a lot of adjustments, submitting all the pending outputs, trying so hard to be updated on every day's announcement, and such. On August 2020, the annual year 20210 - 2021 has started. And I am now a third year college student. I just need to pass 4 semesters, until I graduate. During that whole school year, we have encountered different circumstances such as blackouts, even got hit about 5 typhoons in just a month resulting to power interruption for almost a month. December 2020 will be the end for the 1st semester in A.Y. 2020 - 2021. Since there is a huge black out within our province, the Commission on Higher Education decided to just end the semester because the hope were too small. The power returned before Christmas that's why we are so glad. Moving forward, second week of January was the start of our second semester. I just can't believe that during the month of blackout, our professors had time to manipulate and learn how to use online applications or websites. Hahahaha they became more attentive to us. They became so strict. We had classes everyday. I even had problem with my schedule before since I joined here last March 9, 2021. Getting to the point, I just can't believe that's it's already July. In fact, just a day to go, it's already August. Our second semester ended last May, 2021 but since we are in 3rd year, we are required to have an Industry Immersion Program (IIP) or OJT. There are many conflicts regarding the conduct of the activity. But they still have finalized it to be on June 21, 2020. Struggles have been our enemy the whole semester. I know you're already too bored reading that long message above, but I just wanted to reminisce my times during that academic year. Now, I am turning 4th year college student. I just enrolled actually a while ago. It seems not real tho. Today is a special day for me and to my co-students. Today is our recognition day, and I am so blessed to be one of the Academic Awardee in our course. Yes, I received an award for the 1st and 2nd semester. I feel like floating. It's my first time receiving an award from our school. I am not that active when it comes to extracurricular activities. But I still made it! My bestfriend also made it to the top. :) I am so proud of them! <3 I am not posting this to brag, but to **inspire**. I also had my anxieties, breakdown period but I still chose to stand up. No one can help me except myself. So for anyone out there who had **doubts** about your capacities and abilities, just believe in yourself. No one can change your future except you. Your doubts will just be a hindrance for your success. I BELIEVE I CAN, SO I DID.

Help meeee pleeease This is not actually an article. I'm just doing this to ask for your help. Earlier, I woke up at around 9am. As my daily routine, I checked first my read.cash account. I was so shocked that this is what welcomed me. Huhuhuhu I really don't know how this happened since I am not using any browser. Unfortunately, I think I lost my seed words. I have 2 sets of seed words here but none of them was applicable. As I was thinking and clicking things on my laptop, I randomly got here then I saw that the upvotes from my article was there. Does anyone here knows how to transfer my bch from here to other wallets? Thankyouuuuuu. I hope someone can help me. @Read.Cash , @TheRandomRewarder , @bheng620 , @Ellehcim , @Mayt , @alberdioni8406 Please help me...

New Hobby Unlocked! **Hobby** is what makes us occupied during our leisure times or rest time. It is not done mandatory but it is something I'm looking forward to. It is an activity for **enjoyment.** Personally, I love doing my hobbies. Mostly, my hobbies are all related to my passion in music which includes **singing and playing instruments**. I've been in the music industry for about 13 years, since my friend introduced this to me. I even can't imagine I would be this indulged to go through music at a young age. Commonly, aside from the above-mentioned hobbies, another hobby of mine is **writing poems or journals** before. Another thing is spending time with my friends, actually this is the best hobby because I got to spend time with them and forget my reality problems. This pandemic had brought so much changes in my personal daily routine. I'm also doing some exercise before but I can't now. Pandemic even brought me here in this platform and became also one of my hobbies. I'm not actually into writing such long article, I just want some short poems or short thoughts. School has been stressing as it is. I believe every student will agree on me. So aside from school matters, I try to engage myself to different things that will somehow help me get out of my school matters even for a short period of time. One of my friend introduced this new hobby to me - **crochet making.** Yes! It seems too difficult to do but actually I've tried doing this before when my mother and sister join an entrepreneurial program where they are taught how to do crochet and other related stuffs. This is not new to me, but it seems to be unfamiliar to me right now. So I decided to give it a try. :) It's not so long ago when I started this. I first ordered the hooks in shopee for my first step in this new hobby. I bought a set of hooks, with different sizes, amounting to Php 232.00 but since I had a voucher, I got to less Php 88.00, so I just paid Php 154.00 or about $3+. For those who are interested on buying such hooks, here is the shop where I ordered it. My mother already had some yarns in her past seminars so I got to tried practicing with it while I don't have my own yarns yet. In starting with this hobby, I seek for some beginner tips in youtube. I also learned that there are different kinds of stitches depending on what type of product we are going to make. Here are some of my crochets. So, yes. I just introduced to you my new hobby, so let's push it more forward. Some of you may also have interest with crochet so I'm going to share with you some helpful information about crochet. :) **20 Basic Crochet Stitches** https://dabblesandbabbles.com/basic-crochet-stitches/ **Single crochet stitch** The single crochet stitch is the simplest stitch to learn how to crochet. It’s quick and easy and can be worked in rounds as well as rows. Combining it with different crochet stitches can result in some fun results. **Double crochet stitch** This is one of the most basic crochet stitches. It’s essential for completing patterns and moving forward in beginner crochet. You can use this to make granny squares or the v stitch which you’ll learn more about later. **Half Double crochet stitch** Half double crochet is one of those easy crochet stitches when you first learn to crochet. It’s a little shorter than a double crochet stitch but follows the same steps. This stitch is great for textured bags or detailed sweaters. **Treble crochet stitch** This stitch is one of the taller crochet stitches. It’s 4 chains tall and just takes a bit of repetition. If you’re looking to work up a pattern quickly, try the treble crochet stitch. This stitch would work well for a loose crochet blanket **Slip stitch crochet** This is traditionally used as a joining stitch when crocheting in the round. However, you can easily crochet a hat or even an afghan blanket with the technique. It can also be used to create flat invisible stitches. This stitch serves many purposes. **Moss Stitch (Granite Stitch)** The moss stitch crochet stitch is made up of two of your basic crochet stitches. The single crochet stitch and the chain stitch. Through using these two easy stitches, you can make the textured moss stitch. It goes by many names, the granite stitch and woven stitch to name a few. **Granny Stripe Stitch** This stitch consists of the double crochet stitch, the single crochet stitch and the slip stitch. A crochet stitch guide might be helpful when you come across this stitch. It’s most commonly used in patterns on how to crochet a blanket. **Elizabeth Stitch** The Elizabeth stitch is one of those really unique crochet stitches. It’s also been called the mini bean stitch because of the raised rounded shapes the stitches make. It looks intimidating but it’s really easy to learn and is absolutely beautiful. **Star Stitch** The star stitch creates a beautiful star or flower shapes in the fabric. It’s condensed and squishy. One of the most perfect crochet stitches for blankets. It would look beautiful in a baby’s or child’s room **Puff Stitch** The puff stitch is so much fun to work up. As far as unique crochet stitches go, this one is super easy too. It creates soft puffs on your fabric. Like mini clouds. This texture looks great in scarves or blankets. I even think it would make a sweater more modern. **Shell Stitch** If you’re looking for one of the most unique crochet stitches, try out the shell stitch. It’s so simple to learn to crochet this stitch but it looks really impressive. It starts with single crochet. You can begin with fsc if you know how. Then you go into the stitch pattern! **Primrose Stitch** Learn how to crochet the primrose stitch with this simple tutorial. It uses chain stitches and the double crochet stitch. There are few crochet stitches as beautiful as this one. Use it to dress up children's wear patterns or make a delicate washcloth set. **Cluster Stitch** This stitch pattern focuses on the single crochet stitch. Because it mainly uses this stitch it’s suitable for even beginner crochet. Pay attention to your placement of stitches and you’ll be able to create a thick fabric with the cluster stitch. **Lemon Peel Stitch** This stitch uses only basic crochet stitches to achieve something that looks really complex. After a couple of rows, you’ll be crocheting full projects with this easy to learn the stitch. It’s also known as the grit stitch. You can find tutorials under both names. **Popcorn Stitch** This is a variation of several different crochet stitches. I’m sure you’ve heard of the puff and bobble stitch. While they are similar, the popcorn stitch requires the most yarn. All of these make great crochet stitches for blankets. Try popcorn out. **Waistcoat Stitch** This is one of those easy crochet stitches. It’s flat unlike some of the more textured stitches on this list. It’s as easy as the single crochet stitch. The key is working into the posts instead of the loops. **V Double Crochet Stitch** This stitch would make a beautiful afghan blanket. The crochet stitch guide creates what looks like little v’s all throughout the work. You’ll need to know how to use the double crochet stitch to achieve this pattern. **Side Saddle Stitch** This isn’t as simple as the moss stitch crochet pattern but it’s worth it once you see how gorgeous it is. It uses several stitches and clusters to create a unique design. Master how to crochet a blanket with this stunning stitch. **Picot Single Stitch** This is a fun variation on the single crochet stitch. Create this raised stitch using single crochet and chains, and some creative twists to the classics. It has a similar look to Tunisian crochet but without all the special tools. If you haven’t heard of Tunisian crochet, check out this article on it and learn about all the fun stitches. If you want the simplicity of crochet with the drape of knit, you’ll love it. **Aligned Cobble Stitch** The symmetry of this stitch would work beautifully with a crochet blanket. As long as you can sc and treble crochet, you will be able to master this stitch. It’s made up of basic crochet stitches that you probably already know. ***"These different crochet stitches are the fundamentals to become an inventive crocheter. If you’ve mastered the basic crochet stitches, you’ll be able to stitch these up in no time."*** Source: 20 Basic Crochet Stitches https://dabblesandbabbles.com/basic-crochet-stitches/ I think we all have the same thoughts in mind - we just think that they are all just the same stitches HAHAHAHA. Personally, I haven't tried atleast 18 of these types because I am still looking forward for my yarn. I just hope it will be delivered soon. I'll update here if I already had some progress. I would love to share it with you! :) If you also have your hobbies, you can share it too! :) Sources: Source: 20 Basic Crochet Stitches https://dabblesandbabbles.com/basic-crochet-stitches/

Why do we need to learn something new everyday? People always say that ***experience is the best teacher.*** We are learning because we experienced it ourselves. We are learning from the things we encounter in our journey in life. Little by little, we are getting more mature especially in our decision making skills that helps us to get ready in our next battles to win. It is important that we know things, or at least, a little about them. Example, about our laws. There's a saying that says **Ignorance of the Law excuses no one**. Indeed, humans have the highest intellect so ignorance is not the reason for us to be excused in the law. Same thing goes when we try to boast something without any valid evidences or proofs regarding the things we boast about. **What is learning?** As a student, I can define learning as a **way of gathering ideas and information regarding some things or events.** It is a method of acquiring knowledge out of our intellectual phase. It is the method we've been using every since we gain our consciousness and curiosity in everything around us. I just realized while writing this article that learning is associated with questions. I remembered my previous article about questions. You can visit it if you want. Just click the link below. Question: A QUEST that needs an ac-TION https://read.cash/@noisytoothie/question-a-quest-that-needs-an-ac-tion-a27c2c0f **Based from** Bransford, Brown, and Cocking, 2000: https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/#zp-ID-5-2302310-RCEBKJKF *"Learning involves ongoing, active processes of inquiry, engagement and participation in the world around us."* **Based from** Hinton, Fischer, and Glennon, 2012, p. 4: https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/#zp-ID-5-2302310-GHDGGW2G *"Learning experiences literally shape the brain. So, it’s important to know our abilities are not fixed, but continuously developing."* **Based from** Fischer and Heikkinen, 2010, p. 253 https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/#zp-ID-5-2302310-GBDAC7EQ *"Leaning solely through the direct transfer of information, then, needs to be replaced with a focus on the active construction of knowledge."* Source: Focus on Inquiry https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/ Different meanings, same importance - ***to acquire knowledge that will help in our daily life basis.*** Unknowingly, we are already learning. We don't usually think that we are already learning just by doing little things. But the question is, "**Why do we need to learn something new everyday?".** As I was looking for some inspiration and motivation in the internet, I saw this article with the same title as mine. I got the title actually in that article. I am not owning the idea, I just got something in there that made me think about the things I learned in the past 21 years of y existence in life. I bothered asking myself, "Why should I continue to go to school?", "What's the purpose of learning?", "What's the purpose of solving those mathematical graphs, equations, and problem solving when in fact, I can't use it in my life soon?". **It's true that we will never enjoy what we are doing if we don't know what's the purpose of it.** **Why do we need to learn something new everyday?** **Enhance your quality of life** Learning provides you with an escape when you need it, knowledge when you seek it, and a great and satisfying pastime. **Reduce stress** A new hobby can be a great stress reliever. It helps us break out of our normal patterns of behavior. It gives our brains something to think about other than our daily worries. It might be a mere temporary distraction but it shows our mind and body that thinking about something other than stressful things is possible and desirable. **Gain confidence** When we succeed in learning something we feel better, more confident in ourselves and our ability to tackle all sorts of new tasks. **Knowledge is power** When you have knowledge, you have the power to achieve many things. One of the most crucial reasons to learn something new is that you gain power when you do. This new-found power means you can don’t need someone else to fix, mend or make something in your home or that you own. You are empowered to do it yourself! **Improve your mental health** One reason why learning has a positive impact on our mental well-being is that it is often about setting goals or targets and achieving these. This sense of achievement is an important part of ‘doing well’ completing a project is a satisfying way to gain this feeling of accomplishment. **Socializing** Often learning is a social activity and it can help us connect with other people, which is sometimes difficult to do on a meaningful level in today’s electronic world. Social connections are vital to our mental well-being. **Be selfish** Learning something new might be the excuse you need for some “me time”. Time away from work or family. An appointment with yourself. It might just keep you sane. **Have fun** Resolving to learn something new is exciting: the world is full of fascinating skills and talents. And the process of discovering them, not just the end result, is enjoyable and rewarding. **Set an example** There’s nothing that gets children interested like observing their parents expressing excitement about learning. Inspire your kids to want to learn, too. Better still, learn together and share a common interest for life. **Rediscover** Many of us have given up on something with were once enthusiastic about in order to focus on a more secure career path. But doesn’t it niggle? Wouldn’t you like to know if you still have the skill and the passion for your long neglected hobby? Source: Why do we need to learn something new everyday? https://www.thegoodlifecentre.co.uk/10-reasons-to-learn-something-new-everyday/ There are many reasons why we need to learn something everyday. But for me, the only reason is that we need to learn for us to **survive.** Survival doesn't just require foods, clothes and shelter, but also the way we fight with our future. If you don't know anything, you think you can survive? A mother will tell her children, "**I don't have anything that I can give to you but your education because I know that no one will ever take that away from you".** Truly that knowledge will always be our **greatest weapon** amongst everything. So, while you still can, continue to learn. It's not expensive to learn. You're not just helping yourself, but also your soul. I hope you had fun reading this article. Proper citation was also given for a better understanding in the presented information above. :) Sources: Source: Why do we need to learn something new everyday? https://www.thegoodlifecentre.co.uk/10-reasons-to-learn-something-new-everyday/ Bransford, Brown, and Cocking, 2000 https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/#zp-ID-5-2302310-RCEBKJKF Fischer and Heikkinen, 2010, p. 253 https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/#zp-ID-5-2302310-GBDAC7EQ Fischer and Heikkinen, 2010, p. 253 https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/#zp-ID-5-2302310-GBDAC7EQ Focus on Inquiry https://inquiry.galileo.org/ch1/what-is-learning/

Mapabagay man o gamit, o sa taong makakasama, at iba pa. Tama ba? 😁 Magandang gabi.❤️ Ikaw, anong sana all mo? 😇
How can I stop myself from overthinking? For the past few days, I've been so stressed and depressed about everything about me. My personal self, my family, my academic matters, and even my social status. I've been overthinking and can't help on downing myself, again. Yes, again. I'm not the strong person they used to know, actually, I'm just a bubble, waiting to be popped out. The reality hit so hard. I am now afraid to face it. If before I'm excited to see what my future will bring, now, I just wanted to be a kid again. I just wanted to go back to my childhood days. I don't care if I don't have a phone, I don't have a laptop, no Wi-Fi, no boyfriend, no freedom to go wherever I wanted to go... just bring me back please. Maybe I am now struggling with my own focus in life. I just feel unappreciated, not important or alone. I don't exactly know what to feel anymore. Yes, I'm existing but I don't know when will I last. **What is overthinking?** In my own words, overthinking is the state of mind where we think **beyond our intellectual and emotional capacities.** It mainly affects our critical thinking that made us react with situations differently and unjustifiably. It is something all of us don't want to experience. https://www.tonyrobbins.com/mental-health/how-to-stop-overthinking/#:~:text=What%20is%20overthinking%3F,out%20of%20your%20own%20head. For Tony Robbins, overthinking is "to think about something too much or for too long". Yes, it's human nature to think about things through but thinking about it too much to the point that we can't get it out of our head, is what we called overthinking. Is it an illness? **Yes.** Overthinking can be associated with mental health issues such as depression, anxieties, post-traumatic stress, or personality disorders. And I think I have these. It's our OJT season and we've been doing 4 projects in lined with the 4 fields offered in our course. This week is the 5th week, allotted for the finalization, and preparation for the defense next week. But I'm still stuck with my 3rd week project. I don't know why but I just don't have the guts to do this anymore. I don't have my motivation. I've been watching motivational videos, listening to hillsong's songs, and relaxing myself. Also, I don't have my own laptop so I'm just borrowing my sister's. I can't stop overthinking. What if I can't do it? What if I didn't meet the deadlines? What if I get a failing grade? Why can't I do it, but others can easily do it? Why do I feel like I'm not myself anymore? So many questions, but no one can answer. Overthinking became my habit for a while. I know that I can't stay like this forever, so I did my research. But before we get to the solution, I suddenly asked myself? **Why do I overthink?** I think I need to first determine my problem. Maybe I overthink because I am stressed and depressed. I keep on thinking about stuffs and all. I know that I don't have to worry about anything, as long as I do my best, but I feel like my best wasn't good enough. It will never be enough. Upon realization, I know that I need to conquer this stage of my life so that I can reduce and soon, completely stop overthinking. **How to stop overthinking?** Negative and destructive thought patterns come in many forms – and some are worse than others. These thought patterns tend to surface during times of stress and conflict and contribute to the negative effects of overthinking. Two of the most common patterns are ruminating and incessant worrying. Ruminating means there is a single thought or several connected thoughts that are sad or dark, and that run through your mind over and over again. Rumination is common in **perfectionists** and can contribute to depression and pushing others away. With incessant worrying, you constantly anticipate and worry about almost anything in your life going wrong. Incessant worrying doesn’t seem to be related to a specific event in your life, but it is deeply related to your limiting beliefs and your story. Tony says, “We are all telling ourselves stories. The question is, does your story empower you or hold you back?” The stories we tell ourselves about who we are impact every aspect of our lives. Overthinkers may tell themselves, “I’ve always been a worrier” or “I’m just naturally more anxious than everyone else.” These are stories that hold you back and can be especially hard to change if you’ve never asked yourself “Why do I overthink?” To overcome your limiting benefits you need to first identify them. Then you can catch yourself when you start telling yourself these negative stories and replace them with positive ones, like “I am in charge of my emotions.” Once you **change your story,** you’ll change your life. Overthinkers often focus on the past, expending energy on “what ifs” and “should haves.” Those who understand how to not overthink know that the past is just that. It can’t be changed. The only thing you can change is the meaning you give to it. **Letting go of the past** means you don’t let your mistakes control your future decisions – and you don’t let bad things that have been done to you control your emotions. You **forgive others** and let go of your anger. It’s one of the most significant ways you can change your story. Living in the moment is key to learning how to stop overthinking. Most people can’t just flip a switch and live in the moment – or can they? You can take control of your life and stop negative emotions in their tracks. Identify overthinking before it spirals out of control and take a minute to reset. Breathe and focus on the moment – what are you hearing and seeing? **What are you grateful for?** At first, it will take conscious awareness. **Daily rituals** like meditation and priming can help you retrain your brain to live in the moment. Soon you’ll find it comes naturally. Living in the moment doesn’t mean burying your negative emotions. In order to **master your emotions,** you need to acknowledge them and identify their root causes. When you’re feeling anxious, dig deeper. It’s often about facing your larger fears, such as not feeling in control of your life or not progressing in a way you’d like to be. Become aware of the root causes of your overthinking and you can start making progress to stop it before it starts. As Tony says, “Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions.” You’ve identified the real reasons for your stress and anxiety, but your work isn’t done. The only way to learn how to stop overthinking for good is to **take charge of your life.** If your overthinking is caused by stress at work, rethink your career path. If you’re not where you want to be in life, set goals for yourself so that you can get there. If you feel like life is out of your control, make a decision today to get back behind the wheel. These are big moves, and they take guts. Remember: No one controls your reality but you – don’t you want **your life to be extraordinary?** Overthinkers may have trouble distinguishing between the fear of making a mistake, which leads to overthinking to the point where they make no decision, and a deep feeling that something is wrong. Knowing if **fear or intuition** is guiding your behavior will help you get out of your head and take the next necessary steps. By connecting to your body, taking a few deep breaths and really feeling what it would be like to make a decision, you can decipher whether fear or intuition are in play and how to best move forward. Asking yourself the wrong questions – including “Why do I overthink?” over and over – won’t help you identify what’s really going on in your thoughts or your life. They’ll only facilitate more overthinking. Focus on **solution-oriented questions** that are proactive rather than those that trigger rumination. Instead of asking “Why do all my relationships turn sour?” ask “What energy am I projecting that attracts negative partners?” When you ask questions that allow you to make changes to your own behavior and move forward in a **healthier manner,** you can reduce overthinking and improve your life. Source https://www.tonyrobbins.com/mental-health/how-to-stop-overthinking/ I know some of you are also experiencing this kind of situation. We have different levels of overthinking. We have different ways to fight our own battles. We have different perceptions. But what matters the most, is that we are doing what we can to stop this and continue our life. No matter where we go, no matter what we feel, we have our own battles to fight, so **never judge anyone's feelings or ways on how he/she conquers his/her battles.** Different life, different solutions, one goal. <3 ***Right now I'm lost... But I will find myself, AGAIN.*** Source: How to stop overthinking? https://www.tonyrobbins.com/mental-health/how-to-stop-overthinking/ Lead Image is from Unsplash

If you have at least 1 of these, You Are BLESSED **Love ones or special ones**, or whatever we call them. They are the people whom we wanted to spend our lives with - the people who completes us. There are people who have lots of these, but there are also who don't have. So, if you have at least 1 of these, you are so much blessed. **What does it means to be "blessed"?** **Blessing** is something we call to a thing we receive out of prayers, wishes or any medium. Personally, I believe that it is a **gift from God.** It is something I need to thank Him for giving it to me. Moreover, I believe that everyone have already received the gifts from Him. Being **blessed** is when you're in your deepest sorrow, worst problems, and even have the unluckiest life, but still manage to live your life everyday. Actually, you might not feel it, but every time you wake up in the morning, you are already blessed. Now, let's get to the main point of this article. Who are "these" people that if you have, you are really blessed. **If you have at least 1 of these, You Are BLESSED** **Family** Family is the first of all those people who made us so blessed just by having them. We feel so blessed because we have these person we can call our own. **They are yours, and you are theirs.** They are the first person who knows everything about you - your wants, favorites, necessities, and even your problems. You will always find **comfort** in them. You will never feel lonely, I swear. In our family, my first blessing is my mom and dad. Without them, I will not be here. I love them so much though things have been gone our way. I am not close to my father, but a big difference with my mom. She is the reason why I am really studying so hard. I want to give her the best. Next is my sisters and brothers. I am so blessed to have my 3 sisters with me. They are my bestfriends. They support me in everything I want to do. I just love them so much! **Friends** Friends are the reason why my innocent mind has been polluted. Hahaha. Kidding aside, friends are those who don't care if they bother you during your work, they don't care if they carefree around you, they will get your snacks on your backpack, they will be frank about you, they will tease you, but most importantly, they are the ones who have the shoulders you can lean on. They are always one call away. Friends are not just the people with the same age as ours, it also includes those who's younger than us and older than us. I have a lot of friends in their middle ages and even seniors. It's so nice to have a bigger family outside our home. Yesterday, I was really so down. I wanted to unwind at least for some hours. I don't know what to do so I chatted my bestfriends whom I call Bf and Panget, the one with the orange t-shirt and the middle one in the second photo, and invited them to go in Kawa Kawa hill. We all both agreed but something emergency with our academic came up so we decided to just postponed it. Around 3:30pm, bf surprised me while I'm doing my proposal. She invited me to go there at Panget's house so I got ready and all. We went there and had some fun. It's what I call, **unwinding.** We went to, what we call, "dike", it is where the lava flowed during the Mayon Volcano eruption. I have here some photos taken yesterday. :) We love it here because we can really see the beauty of Ms. Magayon :) It was peaceful and quiet. How I wish I can stop the time... I just thank God for giving me such wonderful friends beside me. It's just so fulfilling knowing I have someone I can call whenever I'm not myself again. If you already found them, make sure to treasure them the most! **Partners (boyfriend/girlfriend)** Not all people have a boyfriend or girlfriend or is it just they haven't met the one for them. It is not easy to find someone who will trust for the rest of our life. It's hard, really hard, but when you finally found that "one", you will just be amazed on how God work all the things for you. Finding that "one" is like solving a puzzle you didn't even know what is it about. You will walk in a long way, alone, unsure of what is coming next. You will meet people whom you'll realize are just passersby in your life. You will experience pain, betrayal, loneliness and other emotions that's accompanied by love. But after that long and painful journey, God will surely gave you everything you deserve. You may not know it today, but you'll know it in God's time. Just trust Him. You are blessed if you've finally found the one for you. The one who will wipe your tears away, the one who will comfort you, the one who understands your mood swings, who will never leave you no matter how annoying you are, and the one who is God's plan for you. They said that *love the man who loves God more than he loves you.* I suddenly remember this wedding song I played on my friend's wedding. It was entitled "The Marriage Prayer" by John Waller. The lyrics goes like this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4_sfgjRcfI Father, I said till Death do us part I want to mean it With all of my heart Help me to love you More than I love her Then I know I can Love her more Than anyone else And bring her in Your presence today Make her what You want her to be I pray to hear her heart I pray she'll love you more I pray to cherish and serve her And we'll bring you glory today, I pray If my future groom sing this to me, I will definitely cry. I just love that man so much! <3 Try to listen to that song, I promise. You will feel the love you truly desires. Before this article end, I just want you to know that these people doesn't described what your life could be. They are just here to help and guide you. If ever you don't have any of these, the fact that you are still reading this and still breathing, it means that you are still blessed. Never underestimate the power of God in continuing your dreams. Trust Him and I'm sure you will finally found the one whom you can call your **own blessing.** If this article inspired you, you can try writing something about your own **blessing** in life. Tag me if you do it.! :) Thank you for reading! :) Lead image from Unsplash :)

Cheating: Does cheating makes you amazing? **Cheating**, a simple word that will make your blood boil. Hahaha literally. Why was that word even invented? It will just bring tears and hurt to us. For today's article, let's talk about cheating in love because I know many can relate and I have experienced it too. **Cheating in Love** https://www.google.com/search?q=cheating+quotes&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiIof7hjtPxAhX7xIsBHdosBwoQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=clg3pqRJ6KcIEM Source https://www.google.com/search?q=cheating+quotes&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiIof7hjtPxAhX7xIsBHdosBwoQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=clg3pqRJ6KcIEM One of the most scariest thing that can happen in a relationship is the **breakup because of cheating.** I think nothing hurts more than that. **Why do people cheat?** Because people gets easily **tempted.** People itself is a **temptation.** `Cheating is a choice, not a mistake.` Yes! If you cheat, never say that it was a mistake. You're just making a fool out of you. It will always be a choice, whether it's a choice for good, or choice for bad. They say that most of the time, men are the cheaters and women are victims. Let's not normalize this kind of situation. Let's not normalize that just because you are a man, you will cheat. We will never find you masculine just because you have other girls too. Same goes for women. It's not because you are beautiful, rich, and can get anything you want, you will cheat. **Reasons for Cheating** **Lack of Love** Whenever we are in a relationship, we always that our partner is our "The One". We forgot to do things we used to do when we are just starting out because we thought that it doesn't matter anymore because we are sure that they are our future. But we don't realize here is that we can no longer feel the passionate love that results to falling out of love towards our partner. This result to cheating because the other partner can feel the love with a different person. **Sexual Desire** Maybe this is the reason why men cheat - because they cannot fulfill this desire in their partner. They can find this with other woman. Men should think that women are not their sexual partners that they can have whenever they wanted to. Not because she loves you doesn't mean they will always let you do what you want to do. I remember when my sister's boyfriend cheated on her. They were together for about 2 years then the boy got tempted by her classmate. Weeks after they broke up, she just suddenly knew that her classmate and her ex were already a couple and what's more shocking is that, the girl is already living with her ex. Just like what my sister said, "Maybe he doesn't get what he want from me, so he find another girl who can do it for her." **Neglect** One of the feeling we don't want to feel is being neglected. We are being forgotten by the person we love. Simple acts matters the most. We should always remember our love one. Negligence results to time loss between you and your partner. It only means that she's not important to you anymore that's why you're choosing to neglect her. Honestly, I asked my partner a simple favor during our monthsary. I don't want anything big surprise, I just wanted him to remember our monthsary. It's more than enough to me. It may not matter to some, but it matters to me. I remember one time, it was our 7th Monthsary when he forgot to greet me first. I was really so mad at him. He's not the kind of man who is forgetful. I told him that I may not be important to him anymore. (Yeaaa girl things, always paranoid). He keeps on asking for my forgiveness. (Ako naman itong mabait, hahahaha), I just forgave him and told him not to repeat the same mistake. He promised then surprised me with my favorite Jollibee. He really kept his promise to me. He always remembers our special day and never let me get mad at him again. **Out of anger** It is true that when are mad or angry, we can't properly decide. We let our present feelings decide our future. When we are mad at our partner, we can think of any sort of revenge just to make things fair for us. We thought that cheating will make us ease the tension we feel towards our partner. We cheat to seek revenge. **What happens when we experienced being cheated to?** It's hard, harder than a stone. It's hard to experience being cheated to because we are **traumatized.** We are afraid to fall in love again because we are terrified it might happen to us again. **We are afraid to trust again**. It's hard to fix a broken trust. The feeling of being deceived will last until we finally found someone who can complete the puzzle in us. I had once experienced being cheated to. It was not easy, it will never be. I already shared my experience here in my article entitled He gave me the strength to trust, AGAIN. You can visit it if you want. :) https://read.cash/@noisytoothie/he-gave-me-the-strength-to-trust-again-f61605d0 Upon writing this article, I suddenly came up with a short poem. Does cheating makes you feel amazing? Does it satisfies your feeling? Or you just want a pathetic fling? With every girl, in every spring? To tell you frankly, you're just a mess A cheater will never meet success You are happy today? Yes! But you'll still wake up with the most less! Dude, never settle for something temporary When there's still "permanent" in the dictionary Never let your temporary feelings decide your primary But instead, bear the present, and preserve your family I just got suddenly inspired, so please bear with me. Hehehe. So yeaaaah, another inspired article from Ms. @JonicaBradley . She had posted this writing prompt about a week ago, but I just got the time to write something about it. It's really never too late. Hehehe I hope you all love it and got something from it. :) If you also want to participate in this writing prompt, here are the rules. Just don't forget to tag Ms. @JonicaBradley :) Lead source from Unsplash! :)

Question: A QUEST that needs an ac-TION Every question needs an **answer**, right? Or maybe sometimes we just choose not to answer it for some reasons - reasons that we cannot afford to accept or understand; the reasons that will keep us hanging at some point. The moment we gain our **curiosity**, is the moment we started to see everything as a question. We eventually meet the question **“WHY?”** We questioned everything around us as if it we are running for our lives. We never stop asking until we find an understandable answer for our question. I suddenly remembered this textbook I read during my childhood days. I have this big book, which is consisted with different stories and fairytales. It is a children book gave to me by my grandmother. I forgot the title but I can still remember this one story. *There’s a young boy who was curious about everything around him. He always ask his mother about the things he touch, sees, smell, or feel. He never stopped asking and asking all over again. His mother told him to be careful with everything he is curious about as it may bring danger to him. One day, her mother is cooking in the kitchen when the young boy suddenly came out of nowhere. His mother was shocked causing her to spill some ketchup on her dress. She immediately change her clothes, leaving the young boy alone. Before she leave, he told the young boy not to touch anything on the kitchen.* *Because that boy is unstoppable with his curiosity, he decided to take a look around the things in the kitchen. His attention got caught by a shining light in the table. He found a knife beside the chopping board. He got curious of what it is called, or what is its function. He grab the knife and accidentally cut his skin in his hand, causing his hand to bleed. He started to cry out loud, making his mother rushed towards him. After seeing the situation, the mother grab the first aid kit tool and treat the wound.* *Because of that incident, the boy stopped his curiosity over things. He realized the possible outcomes of being a curious one and that his mother is right – curiosity can bring someone to danger.* In our life, there will be no single day that we didn’t ask a question. Every question that is answered is a gained knowledge. We learn things because we ask. However, there is a limit with everything. We cannot just do as we please. We cannot just ask because we want to. We have a lot to consider first. Have you realized that whenever someone asks us a question, we are challenged to answer it? It's like a **quest** from them, and we need to **act** in order to answer it. For example, during class hours, a teacher asked a student, and the student will act by raising her hand and answering the question. For every quest we have, there is always an act involved. I'm surprised with myself after I came up with my tonight's topic. It seems so eye-catching and a witty one. Please say I'm not the only one who thinks that way. Hahaha But, the real idea is that, **why do we ask a question**? **We discover something new** By receiving an answer to our query, we are discovering something new. We are gaining knowledge, ideas or information. It may not automatically lead us to a new direction, but there's a possibility that these new ideas we gain will help us to be a successful one in the future. **We resolve issues** As the saying goes, "Lahat ay nadadaan sa mabuting usapan" (Everything goes through a good conversation). When we have a misunderstanding, we can resolve it by asking simple questions first. It might not be related to your previous topic, but it can ease the tension between the two. Also, by asking questions, we can understand both our feelings and finally understand our situations. **We understand people better** One way of knowing and understanding people is getting to know them. When we asked something about a person, we are getting to know them more. We all try to be understood, not because we want to always lead the way but because we wanted to feel important. Understanding people builds **trust**. **We eliminates confusions** Confusion is sometimes the root of misunderstandings. We always have these pre-conceived assumptions and lack of knowledge that causes confusions between two parties. So asking will define a clear path and bring everyone on the same page. https://www.google.com/search?q=quotes+about+asking+questions&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwip066CqNHxAhURvpQKHa9BDcwQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=l7IroAc8mpUguM As what Eugene Jonesco said, "**It is not the answer that enlightens, but the question."** Indeed that if no one asks, then there will be no answer. It was just like a music without sound. If there is no voice, there will be no music. There will be no output. We might be confused with the question, but one thing's for sure, it always **holds** the answer. :) I'm a little too late for this writing prompt by Ms @JonicaBradley but I guess it's better late than never. :) She published this Writing Prompt #5: Questions 2 weeks ago. Have some time to read it. :) https://read.cash/@JonicaBradley/writing-prompt-5-questions-c4076047 If you want to ask me a question, what would it be? Thank you for reading! Oh myyyy G! HAHAAHAHHA I'm writing an article last night then I didn't realize I feel asleep. Hahahahaahah I published the article unfinished. Hahahaha myghad!
The Art of Voices Out of all the blessings we have, I always love this ability to express ourselves through our voices. It is one of our greatest strength as we have the ability to speak. The power it holds changes everything in just a second it was heard. I suddenly wanted to talk about voices because I just thought if voices don't exist. Like, we just need to use sign languages to communicate. Will it be easier? Let's talk about it more. **Communication** https://www.google.com/search?q=communication+using+voices&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjftqGi3M7xAhWPK5QKHQDUC_AQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=3sXKaYGV66h_kM What I love about having a **voice** is that we can talk to each other in a more comfortable way. We can easily say what we wanted to say, we can casually speak. It is very important to us because it became our **medium of communication** as we express our thoughts, ideas, and feelings. For example we have a problem, a simple words of comfort can make us feel better. **Entertainment** https://www.google.com/search?q=+using+voices+in+entertainment&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiS6MrG3c7xAhXKzIsBHbs2CiAQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=+using+voices+in+entertainment&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQA1DkH1iyImDEJmgAcAB4AIABigGIAZQDkgEDMC4zmAEAoAEBqgELZ3dzLXdpei1pbWfAAQE&sclient=img&ei=znLkYJLJK8qZr7wPu-2ogAI&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=fIoOn4VWq25dLM&imgdii=-HJsjemkevkGoM As a musician and a music lover, I am working on my vocals and try not to abuse or overuse my voice. For entertainment purposes, using our ability to **produce sounds**, we can create a more lively environment such as by composing songs, and producing music. For other application, we can use our voices to **entertain** people with our talents such as in comedy acts or theatre performances. Imagine a world without people talking and singing. No sounds can be heard except the natural sound from our environment such as the sound of water flowing down the stream, or the raindrops. Maybe we will have a quiet place to live or the other way around. If people can't talk, then there will be no excuse with everything. For example: People won't have anything to argue with because we know that the power of voices can change someone else mood or understanding. Everyone is relaxed. You will not feel burden about saying something to your friend like revealing someone else's secret. You cannot hurt the feelings of others when you suddenly say something insensitive. On the other hand, voices is not just a voice. It also matters how we deliver our speech or the way we speak. We have this so-called **intonation** that clarifies what we wanted to convey. We should be careful in using our intonation or the way we speak because sometimes it becomes the root of misunderstanding and miscommunication. Comparing to my daily life, I can't imagine a world without voices. I just recently watch the movie **A quiet place 2** in *movcy* and it was amazing just like the part 1, though, (I'm going to spoil you), you will be left hanging at the end. The story is not yet completed. In that movie, noises can trigger the monster. If you make a sound, the monster will come after you. That's why, the mother with her 3 children keep themselves quiet just to be safe against the monster. If they want to speak, they keep their voices low and use hand signs and signals. They only have a radio with headphones where they are searching for a radio station where they can seek for help. Living in the scenario will truly be a mess. The world we have today is so noisy. People gossiping, people talking and talking, people singing, dancing, acting, etc. Let's just be thankful that we can speak the way we wanted to be. No one will stop us as long as we're not harming others or talking nonsense. Inspired by the movie **A quiet place,** I've decided to write something about it last night. I don't know what happened but I accidentally posted this article **unfinished.** HAHAHA I was so surprised this morning because I've received an upvote from @TheRandomRewarder from my article "The art of voices". I had second thoughts if I really finished it last night so I came to check. And yeaaa, just what I've thought, I haven't finished it yet Hahahaha. But, a big thanks to @TheRandomRewarder for still upvoting my unfinished article. For the sources, just click the images :) The lead source is a free image from unsplash :)

Agricultural Processing This is not the usual article I publish but I badly needed your opinion about this. I hope you can help me... I am currently working on my Industry Immersion Program and my week 2 plan is about the Agricultural and Bio-Processing Engineering. We are required to think about a certain commodity we want to process using our invented machines. However, we are already in a more modernized generation and technologies are already advanced. I'm having a trouble looking and thinking about something new. Huhuhuhuhu The struggle of students - no conceivable ideas. So what I should accomplish is a new idea about a new invention. For example, I want to process a sweet potato. I will invent a machine that washes and at the same time, dries the sweet potato. Or a machine that cracks a pili. Or machine decorticator. Like that. To know more about bioprocessing, here is a definition I got from internet. https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/engineering/bioprocessing I hope you can help me out here. Thank youuuuu! Exhausted life of a young mind If we will take a thorough look on what's the generation today is all about, I'm sure each of us will say - **what a big difference versus our generation before**. (Labas Batang 90's). Even with the smallest things, we are far differ from them. Let's give a detailed article with that one. **Generation before** https://www.google.com/search?q=batang+90%27s&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwi4rZ6WxMTxAhVD6pQKHeyYD-8Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=batang+90%27s&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAA6BQgAELEDOgQIABBDOgcIABCxAxBDOgQIABAYOgYIABAKEBg6CAgAELEDEIMBUPbdBFj7gQVg84MFaAJwAHgAgAHAAYgB9hKSAQQwLjE3mAEAoAEBqgELZ3dzLXdpei1pbWfAAQE&sclient=img&ei=BRrfYPiWA8PU0wTssb74Dg&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=-eqAyXav5UDrzM&imgdii=dNg4RIFYqh1m2M I still remembered when I was in my elementary days, after school, we will play different outdoor games such as *lastiko, jolen, teks, tachian, tumbang preso, jumping rope, tirigbasan, iriguan bola/tsinelas, aragawan base, luksong baka, siripaan bidol,* etc. You may not sound familiar with those because it was from a Bicol dialect. The end of class is about 4:45, and by 5pm, I am already home. After I removed my palda and change my uniform into "house" clothes, I will immediately grab a bread and go outside to play. Sometimes, my mother will scold me because I didn't have a proper meryenda. In just a span of 1-2 hours, we can already play different sets of games. I'm a girl but my playmates are boys. Hahaha. It always saddens me if the night comes because night means "going home". My father won't allow us to be outside at around 7pm, and always want us to be at the table for the dinner. After dinner, we will watch the TV and curfew is 9pm. By 9pm, we should already be in bed, unless tomorrow is Saturday. https://www.google.com/search?q=batang+90%27s+playing+in+the+rain&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjX2KS-xMTxAhWIAaYKHSRUB8YQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=batang+90%27s+playing+in+the+rain&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzoCCAA6BAgAEEM6BggAEAgQHlDVtAJYyswCYNjOAmgAcAB4AIABpQGIAboVkgEEMC4yMJgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=WRrfYJfIAoiDmAWkqJ2wDA&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=9SYxmCFI0Tk1zM During Saturday, I will play and play and play. Even if it's raining, we will still play. Those days were the best childhood days. I always love it when my mom is not home - no one will scold me hahahaha But it was exciting whenever my mom is arriving and have a pasalubong to me, since I am the bunso before. Yeaaaah the mentality is that, if you are the bunso, you have a pasalubong. During also my childhood days, never in my life I thought about getting a boyfriend at a young age. Yes, I do have my crush but only until then. Also, we don't have our own cellphone that time. I don't even know how to use it as well as computer. I am a total **ignorant**. But it doesn't define my childhood days. If given the chance to be a child again, I would love to be at it again. **Generation today** *What I will say is my pure opinion based on what I see and what I observed.* https://www.google.com/search?q=teenagers+today&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwi0w6XTxMTxAhXaAaYKHY4ZDHEQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=teenagers+today&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADIGCAAQCBAeMgYIABAIEB46BAgAEEM6BQgAELEDOggIABCxAxCDAToHCAAQsQMQQzoKCAAQsQMQgwEQQ1D7ygFYou0BYOTvAWgDcAB4AIABlgGIAbAUkgEEMC4xOZgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=hRrfYPTsBdqDmAWOs7CIBw&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=3ff5Tr9-HnSEsM The first thing we can notice in a teenager today, is that they are matured more that they look. Example, there is a young girl whom I thought is the same age as me but then, found out that she was just a 16-year old girl. 5 years gap but she's more matured than me. Teenagers especially girls, are wearing their make-ups, have their hair rebonded, etc. What terrifies me is that they are already into a **love-matter relationship.** I have seen young girls crying over break-ups, disloyalties, trust issues and such. They are already into that kind of matured world which is not appropriate for them. They should enjoy their childhood as much as they can, but seems to be that the only thing that enjoys them the most is their cellphones. Social medias like facebook, instagram, tiktok, and youtube are just some of the most famous soc med today. I cannot even imagine a new born baby has already his own facebook account! There's nothing wrong with having these accounts but we should know the limitations of these. https://www.google.com/search?q=social+media+accounts&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj0yLOVxMTxAhUBy4sBHSv0AVEQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=X_HJVExEKkPxoM If you will notice my title, it says **Exhausted life of a young mind.** I am referring this to this new generation. At their young ages, they are already exhausted with their life. Some of them are not enjoying it anymore, which sometimes causes them to do something fatal. They are tied between expectations and realizations. They have the mentality such as **I need to do this, I need to be like this, I should be like this** kind of mentality. They are influenced by what others feel and think towards others. Exhausting life as it seems, but not with our young ones. My own sister experienced it too, and we were shocked. We found something that she did that made us mad at her. We let her explain her side and admitted that she has been living through our expectations and that she was suffocated. We don't honestly know where the part of our guidance made her feel that way. She was the youngest and the most favorite one. She gets all the yummy foods, clothes, pasalubong, etc. She was a total spoiled brat. That's why I get mad also at her for thinking that way. But sooner, I have realized our fault also. Maybe she was just pressured. But we didn't really pressured her. We told her that she can just do what she's good at. And today, we are all good and settling for the best. We try our best to make her feel that she's not alone in her only battle. https://quotesbook.com/teen-quotes/teenagers-today-are-more-free-to-be-themselves-and-to-919.html What we can do is just believe in them. Maybe their minds are still young, but I know they know what they are doing. Trusting them is the key. Knowing they have someone who trusts them will surely make them feel motivated to do things they wanted to do. Didn't expect this coming!!! Thank you so much for being my first ever sponsor @renren16! Your sponsorship means a lot to me. Thank you for trusting! <3
He gave me the strength to trust, AGAIN https://www.google.com/search?q=right+love&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiPu-zQy8PxAhWcyosBHUR9C_MQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625 I know that it is just me who thought that the person we are with right now, will be the person whom we will spend the rest of our lives with. There's nothing wrong with that because we love that person and he's all what we've waiting for. The love they gave us became our greatest weapon in any misunderstandings, small love quarrels, jealousy, or any other things that might ruin your relationship. Every person has his/her own story to tell. Whether it's a happy-ever-after ending, or the other way around. Sometimes, we overthink for the reason of what we felt when we are with them. We have these out-of-the-world thoughts about our future with them like *"We will travel as far as we can"*, "*In the near future, I will marry him and have a great family*", "*We will build our own house and buy everything we want*", "*We will work harder so that we can afford the expenses of our children*". Am I correct or I am correct? https://www.google.com/search?q=when+love+is+real&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjy4qfmy8PxAhUyEqYKHQjdD_YQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=when+love+is+real&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyBggAEAgQHjIECAAQGDIECAAQGFClT1ilT2DQUWgAcAB4AIABjAGIAYwBkgEDMC4xmAEAoAEBqgELZ3dzLXdpei1pbWfAAQE&sclient=img&ei=zJveYPLMEbKkmAWIur-wDw&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=NksP-Uw1AZl1HM When love is real, it will never be going to be smooth, as they say. No matter how smooth our relationship, we will always have that time where we will question the love between you and your partner. "*Are we still in love with each other?*", "*I don't think he loves me anymore*". "*Maybe he's already in love with someone else.*" These crazy thoughts that will just make us mad to them without knowing them knowing the reasons why. And sometimes, this will be the start of the real war. Men say that women are the first one to bring up something to fight over with. They are always the one who's suspicious, paranoid, OA, and starts the fight. Well, you can never blame us. Hahahaha because before we speak, we make sure that we have something we hold on towards you. We have evidences, as what they said, we are more investigative than an investigator. Hahahaha agree girls? https://www.google.com/search?q=trust&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwi3govsy8PxAhVNdpQKHdf1BKYQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=trust&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzIHCAAQsQMQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIECAAQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzoCCAA6CAgAELEDEIMBOgUIABCxA1Dx3QNYneIDYLnkA2gAcAB4AIAB4wGIAY4GkgEFMC40LjGYAQCgAQGqAQtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZ8ABAQ&sclient=img&ei=2JveYLe2GM3s0QTX65OwCg&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=XqLXUrCdeh9CcM Continuing, *he gave me the strength to TRUST again.* I'm sure I'm not the only one here who have been betrayed by the person we love. I guess this calls for a story time... Being a musician, it was my dream to meet someone who has the same interest as me. I accidentally met this man whom interest is also in music. We are in the same music ministry in church. That time, I am the guitarist and he's the pianist. My co-members told me to learn how to play piano since it's much better to have a piano as accompaniment during sacred mass. So, he offered to help me in learning how to play the piano. I remembered it exactly, it was January 4, 2018 when I first had my piano lesson with him. It was going smoothly since I had my piano lesson for a year but it wasn't enough. Every week we will have a piano lesson for about an hour or two. Unfortunately, the Mayon Volcano erupted last January 22, 2018 and made us evacuated on some areas where there are no much ashes. The piano lesson continued for over months. During those months, I admitted that we've developed feelings toward one another. The usual unending chats and texts, including calls and videocalls. We've been through that. Not until the nightmare came that ruined everything. It was August 23, 2018 when he admitted everything. To keep the story the short, he got her ex pregnant last and he's ex was already 6 months pregnant, which means that it happened on February, which was the time we are starting our relationship. I was so devastated that time, because I have no right to still fight for him. I don't want to ruin someone else's family just for the sake of my happiness. I cried over and over again, without my family knowing because they will throw a tantrum for sure. I kept it myself until I had the courage to tell my family and friends about it. I am so blessed to have them in my life. I slowly moved forward. On my 19th birthday, I've decided to finally move on. There's no use in crying over something that I will never really have. I focused on my studies and continue the life I started with. Despite what happened, I never give up on playing the piano. I think that God let me meet him for me to learn the piano and serve Him. I always believe that there is beauty and purpose in everything. Maybe it was his mission during that time. December 23, 2018, (yes, I never forget the dates hahahaha), I met this man. We are on the same school, taking up the same course, only that he's a year older than me and my senior. I've been in college for over a year but I haven't met yet. He chat me first, greeting me a Merry Christmas. I've responded too. And that's when our relationship started. January 20, 2019 was his birthday and that day was also my first day as pianist in our church. I've served during the 5am mass. I didn't expect him to be there because it was too early and transportation is not easy, but he still went there and supported me. I've introduced him to my co-members and they welcomed him so warmly and greeted him a happy birthday. February 14, 2019 is the valentine's day. I admit that I've expected something from him. But afternoon came, but nothing happened. I just went home early that day. After I got home, I've decided to just focus on my assignments and never bothered my expectations. Around 7:30 pm, someone knock at our gate. I didn't bothered to look outside. My sister let them in. And to my surprise, it was him! He have with him a cuteeee panda bear :) Waaaaah my heart melts! (I can feel the same feeling today just like how I felt that time). Fast forward, meeting him was one of the great part of my life. He's not what I prayed for, but he's more than that. God gave me someone's who's hard to find right now. I am just so blessed. Honestly, I was scared to trust again, knowing what happened in my past relationship, but all his little actions are telling me to push it and accept him. My mother told me to not give my full trust to him because we might never know if we will last forever. Writing this article makes me feel so love. I didn't know what I have did to meet such kind of person. He gave me the strength to trust again despite my past trauma. He threw away my pain and tears. I'm also so happy that he supports me in my every little way. So, if you think you finally found your fated man, never let him go. Never do something that will push him away from you. You deserve to be loved and so he does. Neve let little things hinder your forever after. Spread love! For the sources, just click the images :)

A World with No Art: The Importance of Arts and Crafts movement https://www.google.com/search?q=arts&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjzyO_7u7TxAhUGkZQKHa7uD4MQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw#imgrc=KHatxgEu9ARxmM Can you imagine how the world would function without the arts? As art offers joy and rainbows, there will be emptiness and grief. Fine art, according to John Ruskin in 'The Cestus of Aglaia, the Queen of the Air,' 1870, is that in which man's hand, intellect, and heart all work together. This demonstrates how vital art is in our daily lives. Its ideas and products produce beauty that satisfies men while also assisting the economy to expand and flourish through the usage of its inventiveness. To offer you a more precise perspective on the arts, consider what and how the arts and crafts movement began. Arts and crafts are a wide range of activities that include both children and adults using their abilities and skills to create or manufacture things with their own hands. Some crafts and arts have been performed for centuries, while others are newer inventions. William Morris, John Ruskin, and others fostered a movement in the nineteenth century that popularized the phrase "arts and crafts," which was the beginning of a change in the significance society placed on how things were manufactured. This protest was intended to be directed not just at the low standing of the ornamental arts, but also against the impacts of industrialization. Since roughly 1840, the negative impacts of industrialization, which entails the use of machines in manufacturing, on both socioeconomic conditions and the quality of manufactured items have been noted. This Industrial Revolution, also known as the First Industrial Revolution, occurred in Europe and the United States from roughly 1760 and sometime between 1820 and 1840. The switch from hand to machine methods resulted in an extraordinary increase in the rate of population expansion. Its transformation also contributes to negative externalities such as pollution, and the separation of capital and labor produces an economic inequality between laborers and those who control capital resources. The growing awareness of society resurrected the Arts and Crafts movement in the United Kingdom. This movement encouraged society to begin accepting its ideas for producing and manufacturing a product in a less inhumane manner. https://www.google.com/search?q=arts+and+crafts+exhibition+society&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiRguGmvLTxAhWMHqYKHaxdD5kQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=xMHTrQ06qSeycM In the year 1888, the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society displayed several samples of work such as pottery, textiles, metal works, and furniture in the hope of raising both the social and intellectual stature of crafts. This exhibition was the only public stage for the decorative arts at the time, and it was essential in influencing people's perceptions of manufactured things. The work of designer William Morris, who became a globally famous and financially successful designer and producer in 1880, impacted many interested with the movement. William Morris was a British textile designer, poet, novelist, translator, and socialist activist who was a member of the British Arts and Crafts Movement. His ideas had a tremendous impact on the generation of decorative artists whose work he helped to market. The most essential thing, he believed, was to create attractive, well-made products that could be utilized in everyday life and that were produced in a way that allowed their makers to remain connected both with their products and with other people. Morris called for a return to a manufacturing system based on small-scale workshops, but he was not wholly opposed to the use of machines; he simply felt and knew that a production based on people with poor relationships would result in a low labor yield and a shift in the wrong direction. Some characteristics of the Arts and Crafts Movement aided in the development of a belief in the importance of designing objects for a 'total' interior: a space in which architecture, furniture, wall decoration, and so on are blended into a harmonious whole, resulting in designers working across disciplines. The Arts and Crafts movement had a huge impact on architecture as well. Figures such as Philip Webb, Edwin Lutyens, Charles Voysey, and William Lethaby quietly changed domestic space with structures that drew on both regional and historical traditions. Although the Arts and Crafts movement developed in the city, it was rooted in yearning for rural traditions and 'the simple life,' which meant that living and working in the countryside was the ideal to which many of its artists aspired. Craftspeople situated in rural regions both revitalized craft traditions and produced jobs for locals. Significantly, the Arts and Crafts community was welcoming of non-professional efforts, encouraging amateurs and students to participate through groups such as the Home Arts and Industries Association. It also established an environment in which women and men could, for the first time, take an active role in inventing new forms of design, both as producers and consumers. The Arts and Crafts movement believes that its existence will have the greatest impact on how the world works today. It will always serve as a warning to everyone that transitioning to industrialization will only end up damaging our careers in the future, since people will rely solely on technology, making it easier for them to complete tasks without exporting some abilities. This will result in a paralyzed planet devoid of the ability to create arts and crafts. References: Bagadiong, A. S. (2020). Arts and Crafts Movement- History, Influence and Important Figures. Things have been so difficult now. I find it hard to manage my time and responsibilities. Gonna set my goals and reach that achievement I hope for. <3
Different celebrations and Religious activities we practiced in our municipality Good Evening! What I have listed here are the different celebrations and religious activities we performed annually. These are based on my own experiences. Unfortunately, due to covid, we didn't perform some activities we planned before. But we did some adjustments just to still honor every activities of the church. Our parish church is Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. A. New Year https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#a-new-year Every year, before New Year, December 31, a holy mass is being offered at exactly 10:00 in the evening in the Our Lady of Assumption Parish (OLAP), Guinobatan, Albay. B. World Day Of The Sick https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#b-world-day-of-the-sick This was celebrated every February 11. The OLAP family offers a holy mass in the Church. After mass, every priest in the parish is visiting the old ones especially those who are experiencing senility. Priests usually do home visitation to the sick in order to pray for their fast healing and recover. Due to Covid, the priests are prohibited to conduct the house-to-house visit because it was in the memorandum released by the Diocese and we are following the safety protocols. C. Lenten Season https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#c-lenten-season Lenten Season is a solemn religious observance in the Christian liturgical calendar that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends approximately six weeks later, before the Easter Sunday. During Ash Wednesday, a Priest or a Lay Minister marks a symbol of cross through some kind of ash in the forehead of a person, which reminds us that we all came from dust therefore, we will return as dust. During this season, fasting and abstinence are strictly practiced. Another religious activity for this season is the “Youth Diocesan Way of the Cross” wherein people pray the Holy Rosary while walking together. They also added songs in their praising. When the Holy Week came, consecutive masses are offered in the church starting from Palm Sunday to Black Saturday. The priests also offer confession during this week. There is also what they call “Tunton” wherein children are dressed like an angel and plays and special role in welcoming the Easter Sunday. During Easter Sunday, a mass is also being offered. We are still celebrating Lenten Season today because we are just celebrating the 2nd week that Jesus is born. And because also of Covid, some activities were stopped such as the procession, "tunton", and other activities. D. Flores De Mayo https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#d-flores-de-mayo This celebration happens during the month of May. During this season, there is a Santa Cruzan wherein beauties of the women are shown and Patron Saints are included. A procession also follows that visits all the nearby barangays in the town. There is also a Pentecostal Celebration wherein, all the religious organizations have their renewal of vows. As of today, there are still no decisions whether we will hold a Santacruzan or not. But I think, they wouldn't allow it. Maybe we will just pray inside our chapels. E. Our Lady of the Assumption Feast Day https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#e-our-lady-of-the-assumption-feast-day The celebration of Our Lady of the Assumption Feast Day is done during August 15. The celebration usually starts from August 1 and ends on August 15. Nine (9) days before the Feast Day, an evening Novena is offered in the church every 6:00 in the evening. Our Lady of the Assumption also visits the chapel of every Barangay in their hometown. However, the night before the Feast Day, a procession takes place before the evening Novena. On the day of the Feast Day, the day starts with a mass starting from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., to be followed by 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., then by 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and the last mass for the morning is the 9:30 a.m. mass also known as the “Concelebrated mass” wherein a Bishop is the one who leads the mass. After mass, a baptism and confirmation is also being done. In the afternoon, there is a mass at 5:00 a.m. to be followed by a procession. F. The Month of the Holy Rosary https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#f-the-month-of-the-holy-rosary The month of the Holy Rosary is celebrated on the month of October. The church offers a prayer of the Holy Rosary throughout the month starting from October 1 to October 31. There is also a Pilgrimage, which was joined especially by students. This is one way of sacrificing by walking and praying the Holy Rosary. This is usually done in the first week of the Month. G. All Saints Day and All Soul’s Day https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#g-all-saints-day-and-all-souls-day During All Saint’s Day and All Soul’s Day, there is a holy mass in the cemetery starting from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., while in the evening, a 6:00 p.m. mass is being offered. There is also a tradition where family and friends of the dead ones visit their love ones in the Cemetery and offered them a prayer and lighting their graveyard a candle with flowers. Last year, the visiting hours in cemetery was only limited. And about 50% of the population in every barangay was allowed to go. Also, the church scheduled every barangay on when will they visit to avoid crowds and still practice safety protocols. H. Christmas Day https://read.cash/@wisdompouch.cd/religious-practices-in-our-municipality-section-3-3b70f715#h-christmas-day Christmas Day is celebrated during the 25th of December. Nine (9) days before Christmas, a “Simbang Gabi” is offered. It usually starts at December 15 early in the morning at 4:30. During the Christmas Day, a mass is also offered staring from 5:00 a.m. onwards. Not doing the things we used to do before is really a life-changing. Imagine, you are used to do everything every now and then but it was all prohibited all of a sudden. We are still adjusting. We are still coping in this new normal. We just hope that everything will be back to normal. Keep praying an fighting!

Kaki, the Doggy I clearly told myself it was just nothing, What's more important is that you're alive and breathing, But when you started approaching, I suddenly felt the warm hugs and it became something. Your little paws, giggling eyes, wagging tail, Your little voice sounds like a squealing whale, Welcoming her mother cow, With a wide smile and a bow. I named you Kaki, short for Sunshine to Sangkay, Your fluffy fur, white as the sky, Your mini barks that shows up when you're shocked, Oh, I guess I found my target locked. What right do we have to have you? Your unconditional love that's so pure and true? Do we really deserve you? When you swipes away our pain when we're in blue? You came here unexpectedly, We accepted you without knowing your identity, But the most surprising part of our journey, Is that you love me without knowing the real me. You put your trust without hesitation, It's like we've been too far with this relation, We trusted each other without explanation, Because I know you and I were perfect combination. Meet my Baby Kaki :) ***FYI...*** You may wonder why I have included the word "cow" in my poem. Similarities: Commonalities in 2 months Have you ever experienced the moment when time seems to flew so fast? Like, you just had your breakfast, but you will not notice that it's already time to take your lunch? That's currently what just happened. I never imagined I am now a read.cash member for **2 months**? Yeeeeeey <3 I want to congratulate my self first. Anyways, for my article today, this is a challenge by Ms. @JonicaBradley about a writing prompt on the topic **similarities.** I was actually working on this last night but an emergency came up so I'm not able to finish it. I hope you'll all have fun reading this. When we say **similarities**, these are the aspects that two or more things have in **common.** For example, both of us loves music, it's our similarity. However, we also have **differences** or the things that are different from one another which makes us unique. But for now, we will focus on this so-called **similarities.** **WHAT ARE SIMILARITIES?** Based on Merriam-Webster Dictionary, similarity is: 1 : the quality or state of being similar : resemblance. 2 : a comparable aspect : correspondence. People have similarities that brings themselves together. When I say brings themselves together, I meant closure and camaraderie between the same and opposite sex. Most likely, we can identify similarities (for an example) between an identical twins - having the same face shape, nose, lips, ears, eyes, eyebrows, skin, etc. But remember that there will always be something in twins that's distinguishes who is who. https://www.google.com/search?q=quotes+about+similarity&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjass66wY7xAhXCHIgKHXFrBNIQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=577#imgrc=sXHkpuv1hGM7QM Tom Robbins said, *"Our similarities bring us to common ground; our differences allow us to be fascinated by each other".* I believe it is incredibly amazing that we are all the same. It strengthens my faith because we are all children of God, therefore it seems natural that we would be so similar. **WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF SIMILARITIES? IS IT GOOD OR BAD?** Everything has its own purpose in life. Even if you think you don't have. Like having similarities, it is important to know what good it can bring to us. We cannot just think of being similar as good. As everything has its purpose, it can also have its bad effects. **Purposes of Similarities** What I have listed here are just from my own experiences. If you have something to say, feel free to comment it down below. :) What I meant with the **purpose**, is that it should answer the question **"Why do we need to be similar when we can just have something no one has?"** Being similar builds camaraderie. Being similar makes you feel you're not alone. Being similar helps you find your interests. Being similar means you don't have to prove yourself to anybody. You might wonder why my title was like that - **Similarities: Commonalities in 2 months.** I am proud to say that I, **noisytoothie**, is now celebrating my **2nd month** here in read.cash. Time flew really fast. In the past 2 months, I have seen lots of users with their own different genres or something they call their own. Apart from their different genres, I have also noticed that we have this what we called **similarities.** For example, we have these communities which diverts us from one another's interest. There are communities for those who loves music, BCH and related stuffs, cryptocurrencies, lifestyle, experiences, etc. We might have noticed it but we all have our similarities that binds us as one. Isn't that great? Have you ever think about it? Because of these similarities we have, we are being united, and most importantly, we are able to explore our own ideas that is respected and appreciated by our commonalities. **DISADVANTAGES OF SIMILARITIES** As similarities has its purposes or advantages, it also have some disadvantages. When you are similar, you tend to compare who is much better between the two of you. When you have something in common, you tend to settle on what you only have. You don't try to explore new things since you are contented on what you and your buddies have in common. When you are similar, you have the possibility to be insecure about yourself for the reason of comparing what you can do, to what they can do. So, yeah. This article was greatly inspired by the article of Ms @JonicaBradley entitled Writing Prompt #3: Similarities. I love the idea of having likeliness between each and one of us. I hope I delivered a well article tonight. If you want to also join the challenge, just follow these simple rules from our creator. Standby Generator & Special Equipment in AB Applications **WHAT IS A GENERATOR?** In electricity generation, generator is a device that converts mechanical energy obtained from an external source into electrical energy as the output. Generators are useful appliances that supply electrical power during a power outage and prevent discontinuity of daily activities or disruption of business operations. Generators are available in different electrical and physical configurations for use in different applications. It is important to understand that a generator does not actually ‘create’ electrical energy. Instead, it uses the mechanical energy supplied to it to force the movement of electric charges present in the wire of its windings through an external electric circuit. This flow of electric charges constitutes the output electric current supplied by the generator. This mechanism can be understood by considering the generator to be analogous to a water pump, which causes the flow of water but does not actually ‘create’ the water flowing through it. **WHAT IS A STANDBY GENERATOR?** A standby generator is a system that supplies backup power in the case of an outage by way of either natural gas or propane as a fuel source. They can come in a very wide array of sized, from systems that are capable of powering an entire home, to ones that just keep the lights on or the refrigerator running. This is one kind of an electrical system, used to operate through an automatic transfer switch that gives a signal to power up a device in power loss. The best characteristics of a standby generator includes the following. · The operation of this can be done automatically. · It is used in safety systems for standby lighting, elevators, life support equipment, medical & fire protection systems. · It provides stable power protection. · It monitors utility power constantly. · It executes self-tests automatically every week to check that it is responding properly or not to loss of power. · It includes two components like an automatic transfer switch & a standby generator. · It detects the loss of power in seconds & enhances electricity. · It operates by using natural gas otherwise liquid propane. **WHAT ARE THE FACTORS TO BE CONSIDERED IN SELECTING A STANDBY GENERATOR?** The first thing to consider is safety and compliance as all electrical equipment and appliances only guarantee operation within specified tolerances or quality of supply; failing this results in either underperformance, failure or damage to equipment. Hence, standby generation must also guarantee and maintain operation within such equipment tolerances – for example, an approximate 5% variation in voltage and an approximate 1% variation in frequency. Failing this, electric motors might overheat or stall due to under-voltage. Other not too obvious issues are those of safety and protection, as one does not have the downstream electrical protection that either Eskom or the municipality supplies. Hence, any faults experienced by the standby generator will have to be "cleared" by your own protection; otherwise the system will simply stall, creating your very own load shed or blackout. To summarize, the following should be noted: · Magnitude of voltage variation – rated approximately 5% (within 0,5 seconds). · Magnitude of frequency variation – 50 Hz approximately 1% (within 5 seconds). · Waveform quality <2% sinusoidal with <2% imbalance for three phase. **MAIN CLASSIFICATION OF ELECTRIC GENERATORS AND ITS PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION** Generators are classified into different types like portable, standby, inverter, industrial and induction generators. **Portable Generator** https://www.google.com/search?q=PORTABLE+GENERATOR&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiVsv2G44XxAhXPQN4KHfnwAjQQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=P92Obp7JInsMAM These are extremely used in different applications and these are available in different configurations by changing power. These are helpful in normal disasters once grid power damages. They are used in residential, slighter commercial establishments like shops, retail outlets, at construction field to provide power to smaller tools, outdoor weddings, camping, outdoor events & to provide supply to agricultural devices like bore wells otherwise drip irrigation systems. This kind of generator is powered through diesel fuel otherwise gas to provide short-term electrical power. The main characteristics of the portable generator are: - It conducts electricity by using a combustion engine. - This can plug into different tools otherwise appliances through its sockets. - It can be connected into subpanels. - It is utilized in remote areas. - It uses less power to operate the freezer, Tv, and refrigerator. - The speed of the engine should be at 3600 rpm to make the typical current with a frequency of 60 hz of current. - The engine speed can be controlled through the operator - It provides power to lights as well as tools **Inverter Generator** https://www.google.com/search?q=INVERTER+GENERATOR&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiHxdKI44XxAhWaIqYKHbvsBokQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=INVERTER+GENERATOR&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAA6BggAEAcQHlDgtgFYxMEBYOLCAWgAcAB4AIAB2wGIAcwJkgEFMC43LjGYAQCgAQGqAQtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZ8ABAQ&sclient=img&ei=sjK-YIekIJrFmAW72ZvICA&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=SBJci4Ncrao7bM This type of generator uses an engine by connecting it into an alternator for generating AC power, and also uses a rectifier to change the AC to DC power. These are used in refrigerators, air-conditioners, boat automobiles which require the values of specific frequency as well as voltage. These are available in less weighty & solid. The characteristics of this generator mainly include the following: - It depends on modern magnets. - It uses higher electronic circuits. - It uses 3-phases for generating electricity. - It maintains a stable current supply to a device. - It is energy efficient because the speed of an engine will adjust itself based on the required power. - When it is used with the proper device then its alternating current can be fixed to any voltage as well as frequency. - These are lightweight and used in a car, boat, etc. **Standby Generator** https://www.google.com/search?q=STANDBY+GENERATOR&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjS-aWV44XxAhWNA6YKHadsCA4Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=STANDBY+GENERATOR&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAA6BggAEAcQHlDc_gFYwY0CYJ6PAmgAcAB4AIABuAGIAbsIkgEDMC43mAEAoAEBqgELZ3dzLXdpei1pbWfAAQE&sclient=img&ei=zTK-YJLfA42HmAWn2aFw&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=Mr6clQ3jLTSP_M This is one kind of an electrical system, used to operate through an automatic transfer switch that gives a signal to power up a device in power loss. MHD generators were originally developed because the output of a plasma MHD generator is a flame, well able to heat the boilers of a steam power plant. The first practical design was the AVCO Mk. 25, developed in 1965. The U.S. government funded substantial development, culminating in a 25Mw demonstration plant in 1987. MHD generators operated as a topping cycle are currently (2007) less efficient than combined-cycle gas turbines. **Excitation** https://www.google.com/search?q=EXCITATION&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjoq7fN44XxAhXTJqYKHRG8C8oQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=EXCITATION&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAA6BQgAELEDOgQIABBDOggIABCxAxCDAVC0mgFYpaYBYKeoAWgAcAB4AIABngGIAdILkgEEMC4xMJgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=QjO-YOiCMNPNmAWR-K7QDA&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=jHPBirPMkq5tmM A small early 1900s 75 KVA direct-driven power station AC alternator, with a separate belt-driven exciter generator. An electric generator or electric motor that uses field coils rather than permanent magnets will require a current flow to be present in the field coils for the device to be able to work. If the field coils are not powered, the rotor in a generator can spin without producing any usable electrical energy, while the rotor of a motor may not spin at all. Very large power station generators often utilize a separate smaller generator to excite the field coils of the larger. In the event of a severe widespread power outage where islanding of power stations has occurred, the stations may need to perform a black start to excite the fields of their largest generators, in order to restore customer power service. **Vehicle-mounted generators** https://www.google.com/search?q=vehicular+mounted+generators&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiCkqXY44XxAhWqJaYKHbZlAr8Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=vehicular+mounted+generators&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzoECAAQQzoCCAA6BQgAELEDOgYIABAIEB46BAgAEB5QrdABWJ3_AWDegAJoA3AAeACAAa4BiAGVJJIBBDAuMzGYAQCgAQGqAQtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZ8ABAQ&sclient=img&ei=WTO-YMKBIqrLmAW2y4n4Cw&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=-gi2WHXUEqgqLM **Engine-generator** https://www.google.com/search?q=engine+generators&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwi3lcLo44XxAhUIxosBHf2wBp0Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=engine+generators&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyBggAEAcQHjIGCAAQBxAeMggIABAIEAcQHjIICAAQCBAHEB4yBggAEAUQHjIGCAAQBRAeOggIABAHEAUQHlDjkQFYwpcBYN-YAWgAcAB4AIABlwGIAdUFkgEDMC41mAEAoAEBqgELZ3dzLXdpei1pbWfAAQE&sclient=img&ei=ezO-YPfrI4iMr7wP_eGa6Ak&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=ZczcWKG0BjUfFM An engine-generator is the combination of an electrical generator and an engine (prime mover) mounted together to form a single piece of self-contained equipment. The engines used are usually piston engines, but gas turbines can also be used. Many different versions are available - ranging from very small portable petrol powered sets to large turbine installations. **HOW LONG IS THE AVERAGE GENERATOR RUN TIME?** **Human powered electrical generators** Human powered electrical generators Main article: Self-powered equipment A generator can also be driven by human muscle power (for instance, in field radio station equipment). Human powered direct current generators are commercially available, and have been the project of some DIY enthusiasts. Typically operated by means of pedal power, a converted bicycle trainer, or a foot pump, such generators can be practically used to charge batteries as large as 12 volts, and in some cases are designed with an integral inverter. Portable radio receivers with a crank are made to reduce battery purchase requirements, see clockwork radio. **Rotating Electromagnetic Generators** Other rotating electromagnetic generators without a commutator, the dynamo is an example of an alternator, which is a synchronous singly-fed generator. With an electromechanical commutator, the dynamo is a classical direct current (DC) generator. The alternator must always operate at a constant speed that is precisely synchronized to the electrical frequency of the power grid for non-destructive operation. The DC generator can operate at any speed within mechanical limits but always outputs a direct current waveform. Other types of generators, such as the asynchronous or induction singly-fed generator, the doubly-fed generator, or the brushless wound-rotor doubly-fed generator, do not incorporate permanent magnets or field windings (i.e, electromagnets) that establish a constant magnetic field, and as a result, are seeing success in variable speed constant frequency applications, such as wind turbines or other renewable energy technologies. The full output performance of any generator can be optimized with electronic control but only the doubly-fed generators or the brushless wound-rotor doubly-fed generator incorporate electronic control with power ratings that are substantially less than the power output of the generator under control, which by itself offer cost, reliability and efficiency benefits. Most portable generators will run on gasoline out of convenience. A standard 5,000 watt generator will consume around 18 gallons of gasoline during a 1 day/24 hour period. This makes it very unrealistic and expensive for long term use. This is why more and more are turning to inverter generators. Most of these offer an eco or economy mode which varies throttle (and ultimately fuel consumption) based on load demands. These are the most efficient gasoline generators. Usually one tank a fuel, which may only be 1-2 gallons, will last 8-10 hours. Therefore, running two inverter generators, which are usually 2,000-4,000 watt power source together, are usually more efficient than running a larger 5,000+ watt open frame generator. Again, this come back to the presence of economy mode as well as the technology/process that produces energy. **HOW MUCH FUEL DOES YOUR GAS GENERATOR HOLD?** Standby generator works with two major parts: it works with the generator itself and with a transfer switch. When the generator is engaged, it will consume fuel (gas or propane) to provide electrical power to your home. When the outage ends, the generator goes back into standby, and you resume the use of utility power. It is a back-up electrical system that operates automatically. Within seconds of utility outage an automatic transfer switch senses the power loss, commands the generator to start and then transfers the electric load to the generator. The standby generator begins supplying power to the circuits. After utility power returns, the automatic transfer switch transfers the electrical load back to the utility and signals the standby generator to shut off. It then returns to standby mode where it awaits the next outage. You may wonder why my article for tonight is like this. Actually, this was my output for our Working Paper 9 and I just wanted to share this to you. I hope you had fun reading and learned something. Have a great night! Research Ethics: Importance, Principles and Misconduct **Ethics research** dictates and governs all ethical principles through norms of conduct for papers and other scientific studies. Its core of ethical assessment entails a consideration of the ethical concepts of **beneficence, fairness, and autonomy**, which are critical to protecting the dignity, rights, and welfare of research participants. This means that an ethics committee must assess any human-related research to ensure that the relevant ethical standards are followed. https://www.google.com/search?q=research+ethics&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiky5e5hYXxAhVXM94KHfrqAXgQ_AUoAXoECAIQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=3EnfGmqV652DWM **Research ethics** is significant because it entails a consideration of the ethical concepts of beneficence, justice, and autonomy, which preserve the dignity, rights, and welfare of research participants. Research Ethics promotes the goals of research, such as expanding knowledge, and supports the values required for collaborative work, such as mutual respect and fairness. It also means that researchers can be held accountable for their actions, ensures that the public can trust research, and supports important social and moral values, such as the principle of doing no harm to others. Fundamental ethical research standards must be studied and followed in order to generate and produce error-free papers and manuscripts. The following are some ethical principles: **Respect for persons – autonomy and protecting those with diminished autonomy** https://www.google.com/search?q=respect+for+persons&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjKlbO6hYXxAhXZEKYKHYaMBpcQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=respect+for+persons&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADoECAAQQzoHCAAQsQMQQzoICAAQsQMQgwE6BQgAELEDUPabBlivtwZgsrgGaAJwAHgAgAGtAogB7hmSAQgwLjE4LjEuMZgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=idC9YIqtOdmhmAWGmZq4CQ&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=oOYAp9fo6a6fBM Research should be valuable and produce value that overcomes any risks or negative consequences. Researchers should strive to increase the research's utility while minimizing the risk of damage to participants and researchers. All potential risks and harm should be addressed by stringent safeguards. Conducting research without the risk of causing harm would obviate the need for many advancements in human well-being. **Justice** https://www.google.com/search?q=justice&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjc-73thYXxAhWQw4sBHVlbDNcQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=justice&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzIHCAAQsQMQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIECAAQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIFCAAQsQMyAggAMgUIABCxAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADoICAAQsQMQgwE6BAgAEANQx9cBWPjkAWD55QFoAHAAeACAAa8BiAHZB5IBAzAuNpgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=9dC9YJytBJCHr7wP2baxuA0&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=KHiCspB9o7-YCM Researchers must carefully evaluate the broader societal impact of their research, both in terms of participant selection and the advantages and burdens that result from it. **Informed consent** https://www.google.com/search?q=informed+consent&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiD25D8hYXxAhWuxYsBHUfWCEMQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=informed&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQARgAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADoECAAQQzoFCAAQsQM6CAgAELEDEIMBOgcIABCxAxBDUMS9AViJyQFgiNUBaABwAHgAgAHWAYgBkAqSAQUwLjcuMZgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=E9G9YMOFMK6Lr7wPx6yjmAQ&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=ElIOaJWcSvbCUM In order to obtain informed consent, the material should include the following: the research process, the aims, risks, and projected benefits, alternative methods (when therapy is involved), and a statement allowing the participant to ask questions and withdraw from the study at any time. **Confidentiality and data protection** https://www.google.com/search?q=confidentiality+and+data+protection&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjXxdKJhoXxAhVRGKYKHfJkBNIQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=confidentiality+and+data+p&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQARgAMgIIADIGCAAQCBAeMgQIABAYMgQIABAYMgQIABAYMgQIABAYMgQIABAYMgQIABAYMgQIABAYMgQIABAYOgQIABBDOgcIABCxAxBDOgUIABCxAzoGCAAQChAYOgYIABAFEB5QleQBWOaZAmD6oAJoAXAAeACAAbcBiAGgIZIBBDAuMjeYAQCgAQGqAQtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZ8ABAQ&sclient=img&ei=MNG9YNftB9GwmAXyyZGQDQ&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=vhadp2K0K89ryM The interests of research participants and groups regarding anonymity should be followed, as should participant needs for the confidentiality of information and personal data. Researchers will examine whether personal data, including interviews with participants, will be investigated when designing the research project. There are several types of consent that participants can provide for the use of their data. These range from using quotes with or without acknowledgment on the one hand to complete anonymity on the other. Research data must be securely stored in line with applicable legislation and institutional policy. The procedure of research ethics norms are required and must be followed. These moral standards will be established as **rules for researchers** to follow in order to avoid deceit or the desire to injure study participants, whether consciously or unknowingly. Following ethical criteria will ensure that the research is authentic and error-free, as well as obtain the public's credibility and support. Aside from that, research ethics instills a sense of responsibility in researchers and makes it simple to assign blame in cases of misconduct. https://www.google.com/search?q=fabricating%2C+falsifying%2C+plagiarism&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiwouubhoXxAhU_zYsBHa7JAM4Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=fabricating%2C+falsifying%2C+plagiarism&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzoFCAAQsQM6AggAOgQIABBDOgcIABCxAxBDOgYIABAIEB46BAgAEBhQns4BWPahAmCApAJoA3AAeACAAckBiAGpKpIBBjAuMzUuMZgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=VtG9YLCfEb-ar7wPrpOD8Aw&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=0nM3E9bJPLQOHM The act of **fabricating, falsifying, or plagiarizing** study results is referred to as research misconduct. Fabrication is the act of making up data or results and recording or reporting them; falsification is the manipulation of research materials, equipment, or processes, or changing or omitting data or results so that the research is not accurately represented in the research record; and plagiarism is the use of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving credit. These are examples. A researcher should not engage in research misconduct in order for their research publications to be error-free and accountable. Pets: What are they to you? Wondering what our life will be if the world will be filled with just humans? or what we called "highly-intelligent animals"? Have you imagined the world if we don't have this what we called **"a man's bestfriend"** which is obviously, a dog. I have emphasized dogs here because that's what I have as a pet. Her name is **Kaki.** I will try to introduce her later. I hope you'll be reading my article 'til the last. https://www.google.com/search?q=quotes+about+pets&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjKrrTIhoPxAhVH7WEKHYntBCYQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=4q6WefVTdZX1EM James Cromwell once said, **"Pets are humanizing. They remind us we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nurture and care for all life."** Pets did nothing but to care for us, and love us the way we wanted to be love. They give us more than what we need. **WHAT ARE PETS?** https://www.google.com/search?q=pets&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjp37nOjYPxAhV0UfUHHVCiCEUQ_AUoAXoECAIQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=OGZEwsDMEHStHM *Pets are any animals kept by human beings as a source of companionship and pleasure. -* Britannica *A domestic or tamed animal treated with special attention or evoking particularly strong feelings. -* Oxford Language Pets are any animals we wanted to keep as a source of companionship, pleasure and is treated with special attention or evoking particularly strong feelings. Sometimes, we chooses to be with our pets rather than be with our loved ones. We feel more comfortable with them rather than with our same specie. When we chooses to have an animal as a pet, we tend to take good care of them as if they were our child. We feed them, clothe them, give them shelter, and even bring them to playgrounds to play. We have different preferences on what pets are, or what kind of animal we will treat as pets. It maybe dogs, cats, hamsters, monkeys, lions, tigers, bird, etc. depending on our desired kind of bestfriend. I have seen lots of people having pets such as tigers, lions, or snakes. They might seem dangerous, but actually they are not. I've read many stories, seen many movies about how dogs give humans the unconditional love we all been wanting. They were always ready to help and serve their parents. They will do everything even though it might be the reason for their danger or death. They will always choose their masters over themselves. And that's how selfless they are! https://www.google.com/search?q=quotes+about+pets&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjKrrTIhoPxAhVH7WEKHYntBCYQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=89YcUbGB6Nm33M Sometimes, we learn more with dogs rather than the pieces of advice we received from our friends or relatives. They teach us how to love unconditionally, how to smile despite the problems we have, how to accept things the way they were. We might not notice it, but dogs are more mature than we think they were. **MEET KAKI** Last November 2020, (I forgot the date), my brother's girlfriend brought Kaki to us. She is a pure shih tzu. She was born on July, 2020 which means, she will be turning 1 next month. I'm still planning on what to prepare and I hope I can earn more here and allot it to her birthday. For the past 6 months, she was with us, with me especially. I treated her as my child and I am called as Mama Yis. Being a fur-mom is maybe one of the best feelings ever. She is a jolly puppy, loves dog food, loves her favorite toy, loves cuddling, loves cats, loves smaller puppies, oh, he loves even frogs hahahah. She's kinda different but she's amazing! **Why did I choose to be a fur-mom?** First, I am forbidden to get near with cats because I have an asthma and it’s not good for me to inhale their fur as it will trigger it. Thankfully, my mom allowed me to have my Kaki. But, the real question is, "Why did I choose to be a fur-mom?". To answer this, I think I'll just enumerate it. My Kaki is a **my bestfriend.** My Kaki is **warm and soft.** My Kaki **makes me feel that I am not alone.** My Kaki **takes away my stress and tiredness.** My Kaki **gives our family an extra joy.** My Kaki taught me to **love unconditionally.** Do you also have your own fur-baby? Come and share her/him with us. For the sources, just click the images :)

Death: Is this something to be afraid of? One time in our philosophy class, we have discussed the concept of **death.** Too many questions were raised. "*Is there really a life after death?", "Do we need to be afraid of it? ", "What is death?".* Many questions but still no answer. I, myself, wonder too if there is a life after death just like what has been taught in the church - that if we do good here on earth, we are likely to have an eternal life, but if we go against God's command, we will be in hell. Even a single person can testify if there's really that life waiting for us. https://www.google.com/search?q=quotes+about+death&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwip18SquIDxAhUUNqYKHUhZDbAQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=QUOTES+ABOUT+&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQARgAMgQIABBDMgQIABBDMgQIABBDMgQIABBDMgcIABCxAxBDMgQIABBDMgUIABCxAzIFCAAQsQMyBQgAELEDMgUIABCxA1CRgwJY6ZECYN6YAmgAcAB4AIABwgGIAbYQkgEEMC4xM5gBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=zGa7YKnBC5TsmAXIsrWACw&bih=625&biw=1366&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700#imgrc=-rOklvTiI0uIjM Haruki Murakami once said, *"Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it."* Indeed, we are all **born to die.** Everyone will die and no one can change it. **WHAT IS DEATH?** https://www.google.com/search?q=what+is+death%3F&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjVgJ_wt4DxAhXIaN4KHTrTCHsQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=6sejJO90FlexwM From Oxford Languages, *death is the action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or organism.* In philosophy, **death is the absence of life,** just like **dark as the absence of light**. They said that there is no such thing as death, but instead, it is the absence of life. When we die, we don't breathe anymore, we don't do the usual things we do, and when we die, we are forgotten. Remember the movie **"Coco"**? Miguel, a young boy, pursues his love for singing in spite of his family's ban on music. He stumbles into the Land of the Dead, where he learns about his great-great-grandfather who was a legendary singer. He had a chance to go to the Land of the Dead where he accidentally saw all the dead. There are two places - the Land of the Dead and the Land of the Forgotten which seems to be the heaven and hell. It showed the two possible places as our final destination. https://www.google.com/search?q=Coco+synopsis&rlz=1C1CHBD_enPH700PH700&hl=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjo9oyzuoDxAhXCAYgKHYCvCfIQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=625#imgrc=AX4YLGKCB8t9GM This movie believes that there is life after death which is kind of a puzzle to us. There are also documentaries saying they have been to heaven and hell. I forgot the names of those who documented it but it really discusses the life above earth. **DO WE NEED TO BE AFRAID OF THE DEATH?** Like Mark Twain said, *"The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time."* I have a question for you. **"ARE YOU READY TO DIE?"** Honestly, I am ready to die. I have been in several situations where I thought I will die. I have an asthma and it triggers every time I'm in a state of over emotional or exhausted. I've never been a normal person when it comes to sports and other breathtaking activities. My mom even prohibited me from having a boyfriend before because when if there's a chance that my partner will betray me, I might feel over emotional, which is not good to my health. As of now, my mom agreed to my partner but she's reminding me from time to time to not put my 100% trust and love because things are constantly changing. There is no issue whether we are ready to die or not. Mostly, in our church, we are asked that kind of question because our future actions will depend on that. We are taught to do God's will for us to have an everlasting life. But, our choice will depend on what we believe in and what we think will be best for us. **WHAT CAUSES DEATH?** In our modern day, we have this one primary cause of unexpected mass death rates - the **coronavirus.** There are almost 3.7 million people who died because of this virus. Imagine? For almost 2 years, we have been suffering and many have died. This one is unexpected, but they leave us no choice. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-death-toll/ Covid-19 is not just the primary cause of death. Here are several causes. Illnesses Accidents Suicides Murder-case related Before the pandemic occur, illness and accidents are the most primary cause of death. They are unexpected and can never be manipulated. Being careful maybe one of the best solution to avoid this kind of causes. But as the saying goes, *"Kung araw mo na, araw mo na".* You might be wondering why I suddenly talked about death. Actually, I have attended two mass funerals today. One is at 1pm and the other one is at 3pm. The name of the dead were Ruth and Jose. I don't know the cause of their deaths, but I think they are still too young to die. During the mass, I can see their relatives crying and wiping their tears. They are all sharing the common emotion - **sadness and mourning.** I still remember the day my grandma died. I was crying all over the day. Losing someone is one of the hardest thing to accept. We are used to be with them but the day will come when they have to leave - we all have to leave. It's hard to accept it but that's the cycle of life. In every death, a new born will come. Death might be the hardest goodbye we can give, but let's just think that they are already in their peace state. They are not suffering anymore. I have been wondering yesterday after I publish my last article on what topic I will discuss next. Fortunately, God gave me one. :) Another day, another article for all of you. I'm kinda enjoying the feeling of writing. I even devoted myself to write here atleast every evening. It will be bonus if I can write during the day. But still, I'm looking forward for more articles to come. :) For the sources, just click the images :)

As the saying goes, ***respect begets respect.*** Give respect and you will receive respect. Ever since the day we gain our consciousness and the ability to understand, we are taught to pay respect especially to elders the word respect. Our parents and family are the first ones to enlighten us about One way of showing respect here in the Philippines is by saying "po" and "opo" to the person who's older than you. We also have "pagmamano sa nakakatanda" and as a return, they will said "salamat" or "Godbless you". It maybe because you have the same passion, dream or even hobby. For an example, I really idolize Sarah Geronimo and I highly respect her when it comes to music. Respect chooses no one. You should be respected because it's your right and you deserve it. I have this short real-life story that really melted my heart. This was way back 2019 when the pandemic is not yet here. I was so hurry to go to school because I will have a class at 9am and the time was already 8:30. I usually spend 15-20 mins in tricycle before I reach our school. The driver of the tricycle I hopped in was around 55-60 years old already, but he is still strong and kicking. I was so busy with my phone that time because I am reviewing my files for an upcoming exam. After about 3 mins of driving, the tricycle driver suddenly stopped. I thought there is just another passenger so I didn't bother to take a look. A minute has passed but the tricycle is not yet moving. So I checked out the situation. And what I saw made my day. **The driver made a pull-over along the way to help an old man cross the street**. I was so ashamed that day because I felt a little annoyed when the driver was too slow. It really made my day. I didn't even have the chance to take picture because I've noticed it too late. I even shared and posted this story in my social media and lots of netizens were also amazed. **See how giving respect works?** The respect that the driver have made him do the greatest thing he could ever do. Like the quote of Einstein, respect doesn't need to choose between two persons - whether you're a garbage man or the president of a university. Status is not the door to respect. Even the poorest of the poor deserves respect. **Note: We might come to a situation where we don't know anymore what respect is, but remember yourself being treated the way you will treat others - you will be enlightened.** Another article for tonight. I was thinking of what to write then suddenly, I remembered about that tricycle driver so I decided to write about it and I feel that it turned out great! Now, I want to challenge these people to also write about **respect** and tag me in their works.
