Drifted Hearts

"Hi Sir, it's time to close the windows, we will take off shortly."

Andy hurriedly pulled down the flap of the plane's window. "Uhm, I'm sorry miss."

"It's okay. You can open it again once we're flying." The flight attendant smiled and moved on to the next seats.

It was Andy's first-ever plane ride so he was a bit jittery and a whole lot nervous. He was all fidgety too. He was trying so hard to keep a straight face and to keep his nerves under control.

He was on his way to the great city. It was time to spread his wings and try his luck in a new town. A new job, a great job. He decided to leave his small hometown for bigger things. For himself, for his family, and for his little Mary.

He pulled up his phone and looked at the home screen which was Mary. His sweetheart. They both promised each other to marry after he's settled in in the city and when the income's all steady.

He planted a kiss on the screen before putting it back in his pocket. He firmly sat down and waited for the wheels of the plane to roll.

"Here's your champagne mam." The stewardess gave Princess the glass which was half-filled but she reached for the bottle.

"Leave the bottle." Princess An said, and the stewardess had no choice but to comply.

She fixed the big sunglasses over her eyes before sipping champagne from the glass. She took her phone from the purse on her lap and read messages of gratitude from the producer of the film that she just wrapped up earlier.

It was a new movie that she's starring in and will be out in the cinema in 3 months. She was glad that the project's done and she was so tired from the tedious taping they have done in the far side of the country. She was just grateful that she could finally go back home to the city.

The engine of the plane began to throttle and the wheels began moving. When they were a good distance from the airport, the engine went louder and louder and the plane began to move quickly and with a force that sent it up into the sky.

Andy grabbed onto his seat as hard as he could and his whole lower body stiffened as he looked up and closed his eyes in prayer.

The take-off was rough but it was all over in a few moments and he was able to open his eyes and was all relaxed when he saw that they were easily floating with the skies. He looked out of the window and down on the small houses and structures down below. Everything was so small that they were almost unrecognizable.

Several minutes passed and the seatbelt light indicator overhead turned from red to green. Immediately after the light changed some people stood up from their seats. Some reached out for the overhead luggage compartment and some headed towards the comfort room.

Andy watched as people became busy with each of their own businesses. After a while, he also felt the urge to go to the bathroom. He felt the sudden build-up of fluids inside his bladder. He stood up and walked briskly towards the back end of the plane.

He observed the door and it seemed to be occupied as was indicated near the door's handle. He waited in the queue while trying to hold his thighs together tightly.

After half a minute or so, the door latch clicked and the door slowly flew open, and the guy with long curly hair came out just as some smoke escaped with him.

Andy swatted the smoke away with his hand as it smelled funny to him. He then went inside the small comfort room while coughing. He was trying not to inhale too much of the smoke.

Princess An stood up, fixed her glasses, and walked towards the middle of the plane to relieve herself from too much champagne.

She knocked on the occupied door of the business class cabin. She couldn't handle it anymore so she decided to go beyond the curtain and just go to the comfort room in the economy class.

She walked briskly trying to avoid eye contact with anyone. She reached the end and went into the comfort room that was vacant.

Andy zipped down and started to let out some pee. Princess gracefully pulled down her undergarments and sat promptly on the made-up throne and started releasing.

A sudden and violent turbulence disturbed the flow of the two downstream. Princess and Andy alike held onto the railings on the wall with their dear life.

The shaking lasted for a brief moment and it was immediately followed by an explosion. The plane blew up into pieces and sent people and materials alike far in the sky.

The freezing cold water woke Andy up. He quickly swam towards a floating debris that looked like the door of the bathroom of the plane. He climbed up and it managed to keep him afloat.

He was still confused, shocked, but he was conscious. He patted his body and found that he was not gravely injured aside from some scratches. From a few feet away from him, he saw someone flailing around the water and struggling to stay afloat. Almost instinctively, he jumped back right into the water and swam towards the water disturbance.

She was a girl. He tried to calm her down to no avail. She was clawing, grabbing, and grasping unto him. He quickly and firmly took her by the waist and forcefully dragged her towards the floating door. He managed to place her on top of the door but she was still flailing and he was hit by a kick on the head causing him to lose his consciousness.

Stay with me here, don't be drowning on me now. Lol. I am trying to get afloat here so...since I do not have anything on my plate right now, I decided to start a new series. I don't know how long this will run but I have a rough idea of how it will go.

I know that this may sound the most cliche story, but hey, this is also inspired by a cliche movie, so why not?
