I saw this cat eating grass one sunny morning. I used to stop a pet before from eating grass because I know what's going to happen next. I will be cleaning up its mess inside the house, ewww. But someone told me that when cats eat grass it means they are not well. Tummy ache maybe, so I started to feel bad for cats who are eating grass. I read on the internet that cats don't drink as much, they lack fiber and grass will provide them that if they consume grass. Whatever it is, when I see a cat eating grass, I am just wishing him or her well. Be well, goldie cat. Amazing how his ginger color turned golden under the sun. Even hère my cats eat sometimes grass, , I guessed they eat it as médecine.I don't Know if they swallow it or chew it only.
Cats need to do that I guess. They have to get rid of what's upsetting their stomach like fur ball. They chew and swallow the grass and throw up after that. It's not very pleasant particularly if they do it inside the house.

Yes they do. But they are not eating grass for pleasure. They go for it when they start feeling tummy discomfort. Apart of fiber deficiency, most of the time it's fur that they swallow while cleaning themselves up. In fact even dogs eat grass. So yeah, grass makes them feel sick and eventually get rid of their tummy discomfort.
