Maybe because it's been raining a lot lately it's why mushrooms grow in the backyard. Uhmm, let me rephrase that, a mushroom grew in the backyard. It's a lone mushroom, no company, just by itself. Its size is like a medium size portobello mushroom. Beautiful, scaly pattern on its cap. With the help of google lens, it identified it as agaricus augustus or the prince mushroom. It really does looks like a dashing Prince. Apparently, it's edible but I won't dare picking it up, cooking it and eating it up even if I am craving for baked quinoa, tomato, spinach and mozzarella cheese stuffed portobello mushroom. I love mushrooms too. But we need to take precaution on what we put in our mouth, haha. Better be safe than sorry...

Haha, like what I said to our other friends, better safe than sorry...it's why I did not pick it up. That is true, I did not plant it, it just grew by itself or probably the birds planted it, haha, so no way in risking my tummy or life.
