I'm all about #refurnishing. ❤️ Not only that is saves you money but it's nice to give your old things new life rather than throwing them away. Four years ago I refurnished my old study table which we bought in 2002. I manually sand the varnish off of it and painted it white. I miss having milk tea at D' Cream. ❤️ I stayed at my cousin's condo unit for a year when I was still working at La Salle - CSB and there was a D' Cream branch near us. I never bothered buying from their store but had I known better, I would've been there every single day. 😂 If you ever find this store, I highly suggest you buy from them. Golden sun is their best seller but their Blueberry and Strawberry Assam Milk tea tastes great too. Not to mention the tapioca pearls. 😍

It's been two years since I baked these cookies for my husbands former co-employees for Christmas. I wish I can do this again but he's WFH since March last year. There are a couple of ways to make it, the other requires cooking while the easier way only involves mixing powdered milk and consensed milk. I saw some mini cloud cakes on Instagram from a cafe called Kraving K. They are mini chiffon cakes I believe but they are super fluffy and soft, hence their name. I'm craving for French Baker's Lasagna but sadly we don't have French Baker near our town. If you ever go to French Baker, you have to try their lasagna. How bout some baked french fries for an afternoon snack? ❤️ I tossed them in a tablespoon of olive oil with one teaspoon of italian spice before I baked them. After baking I sprinkled them with parmesan cheese. I think this is a much healthier way of preparing them rather than frying them in a pool of oil and loading them with salt. Good afternoon, everyone! I baked some raw almonds in the oven. If you want some roasted almonds or some other nut, you may bake them instead frying them. Just spread them on your baking sheet, no need to add any oil. Set your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheight, they should take 10-15 mins. Just keep an eye on them. This has been a sunny day. To share, the medium I'm using to dilute the oil paint is a mixture of stand oil and odorless mineral spirit. Donut is always a good idea. 😆 I made some donuts today. They are a bit of pain to make because of all the waiting you have to do but they're worth making at home too. Such a pleasant surprise from my Ate Laiza and my bro Dave. They brought us some brownies! 🥰🥰🥰 I've never seen them since our second wedding ceremony and I was so happy to see them even just for a bit. Merry Christmas morning! Meringue frosting on cloud cake topped with fresh strawberries... doesn't get any better than that. 🥰 When I baked this and posted it on facebook, my friends asked if I sell them. I don't 😅 I just bake them. As much as I want to try selling what I bake, I'm too shy message and make an offer to people. My friends were really eager though so they started offering them in my behalf so they could have a taste of it. 😆 I can't wait to have sometime and bake them again. ❤️
