Spider-man: No Way Home Man... how I wish I was able to experience watching it on cinema. These are the times where I want to curse the situation we are all in in the world (plus because the caution it adds to my pregnancy). It seems that there's going to be no ending to this. It's not like chickenpox where one person will have it then gets immunity to it; it is like a common flu but rather deadlier. I am never a fan of chick-flicks. The only romantic movie that I like (or at least I find it romantic) is Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. I remember my mom who is a fan of as singer turned actress here in our country. She supports every movie that she makes but man, she's freaking cringe. I tried watching it but I had to keep reminding myself that "Don't say anything mean. She's a good person. She's a good person. She's a good person." 😅 Then they had another film of her and dad accompanied mom to the cinema because she obviously wants to watch it. Dad finds her cringe too. During the course of the film I received a text message from him saying, "Sobrang korni!" (So corny) I laughed way too hard and replied "Wala kang magagawa daddy, gusto ng jewa mo yan" (Well you can't do anything about it, daddy, because you're girlfriend likes it.) Oh, don't get me wrong, mom and dad are married I just tease them because they seem like boyfriend and girlfriend sometimes. And then there's me. I had been single for a very long time so I just watch films by myself in the cinema, which is totally fine by the way. When I had a boyfriend, we would only watch Marvel and DC films on the cinema. He then remembered the story of mom and dad and he goes, "Buti na lang weird ka, kung hindi tulad ako ng tito na nakokornihan sa palabas." (Good thing that you are weird, or else I'll be like your dad who cringes at what we are watching in the cinema.) 🤣 Funny enough, he would often tell me that. My boyfriend now husband would tell me that he's thankful that I am weird and not like the typical girly-girls (not that there's anything bad about that). Since the cinema in our place had shutdown due to the pandemic, we can only watch films at home. We would have movie nights, some good snack and it's all good. Maybe we should acquire a portable projector.
