Hello ArtPark fam! ❤️ Done with my oil painting study of hydrangea. I just love this flower so much and I hope to make more paintings of them. To share, the medium I'm using to dilute the oil paint is a mixture of stand oil and odorless mineral spirit. I increase the ratio of stand oil to the mineral spirit as I work on each layer just so I follow the rule of fat over lean. My favorite brand of oil paint and oil medium to use is Windsor and Newton. The reference photo I used is from a cap of a tin can I bought from a local store. I wish you all a productive and cozy day. 🥰 #hydrangea #flower #oilpainting #art

Nice to meet you, April. You have a cute name. I'm not even a Duchess of Painting. Yesterday I discovered I was using my acrylics incorrectly. Didn't knew what gesso was... There's a long way for me, but I'm enjoying every step 😁 In your painting I see a lot of experience and that's inspiring 💛
