Who loves fresh berries in their cakes? I know I do! For some reason since the pandemic, strawberries have been very accessible in our place more than ever. *lol* There had been online stores who offers buying them and delivering them at your doorstep and such. I have great passion in baking as well and I've always dreamt of baking and making those aesthetically pleasing desserts I see in Japan and on the internet. This cake doesn't only look good but I'll tell you that they taste really great too. The tart from the strawberries compliments the frosting well. It's kind of disappointing ordering cakes from our place now because the baker's here have been using Whippit as frosting (some vegetable oil or lard base frosting I think) which doesn't really taste good rather than Boiled icing or Buttercream.
