It is common to give a bad interpretation to certain actions, although I believe that here is something that is: everyone interprets things in their own way or convenience. Talking about the human being and all his capacities to convince and manipulate in some situation to others, it is necessary to have clear the meaning of things and the security to speak to others being able to differentiate for example when a help you do it teaching or being part of the problem.
Along the way there are many people asking for help, and you can help them yes, but by teaching them how they can improve their situation by explaining to them what to do so they can get on their feet, without confusing that it is not doing the work for them it is teaching them how to work. Here's the thing, how many really want to just receive help (a gift) or how many are willing to learn how to get what they want for themselves.
There is a lot of comfort in some people, and what they understand by help is that you give them things as gifts; then when somehow you give them ideas of some work or how you could get things, they misunderstand you and see you as a bad being without feelings and they put God and crucify you because you are not "good". And is it really hard to understand that teaching you is also a way to help you not only to have things one day but for every day.
Well this is my life motto, helping people but teaching. Many will understand it and others will not, but I feel a personal satisfaction in helping in this way.
That is why I very much share a Chinese proverb that says:
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him to fish and you feed him for the rest of his life."
Even I as a father I teach my daughters how to get things, from a very young age I have explained to them the value of money, but above all the value of work. Because I worry and take care of "being a good father" and not "just a father who is good to give away" because between these two phrases there is a big difference, I still insist is my way of thinking and not why I aspire to share my opinion, particularly when I touch this point about being a dad because I am clear that everyone raises as he believes and wants, so I take care of my daughters without pretending to influence the upbringing of others.

That is why I still insist that it is better to teach to work rather than to give away, to know how to get things so as not to ask for them, not to do someone else's job but to teach them how to do it.
That's what Jesus said and I think it's the best way to help.
