Lucky 13! A poem for my sponsors.
Hello, my dear read friends! The sky is cloudy today, I am kind of enjoying it because it's not too humid. And I pray that it won't rain later so we could go out again and enjoy the view of the sunset and the flowers around the neighborhood.
I wanna offer this composition to my sponsors, both old and new because I won't thrive here without them.
I hope they know that I try to support them back as much as I can and I try my best to follow in their footsteps. They are my great mentors here on read and I look up to them with much respect and admiration.
Here it is:
A poem for my sponsors- old and new!
Thank you, you were the first to believe in me
Sis MJ, one of the most industrious in the community
She broke the curse of my desperation
Gave me hope, a chance at redemption
Then there was this great woman who owns a kingdom
Like me, she loves gardening and has a green thumb
I don't like it if I miss her story
When it happens, something's missing in my day
Oh and dear sis BlogHound
A friendship was formed and found
She is a gypsy, an empath, moon lover
She's pretty but her daughter is prettier!
Then a talented man from the north called ARTicLee
Who is such a pro in writing and in photography
He shares his experiences with the wonderful places he has been
Both abroad and here in the Philippines
And I got sir Ed, the Swanta
He's a funny Scottsman who loves the swans, I tell ya!
Behold, read his articles and learn a lot
And in the end, you would want to be a Scott
I also have my dear Eliana
A beautiful, generous friend from Venezuela
She publishes articles about personal stuff like her country
Her culture and traditions are extraordinary!
How could I forget you my cousin, Luci?
Who just lost his dear doctor, Chloe?
Just kidding, she has a different name
I know my, I know, my joke is just so lame
I got King Ghozie sometime ago
And I am thankful for his support too
I visit his profile from time to time
Commented on articles, shared a dime
I then have my youngest sister Expelliarmus
Whose charm and sweetness was never lost
May this person reach success one day
Because she deserves it all the way
Sis Yhanne, I am happy to have you
Because we are neighbors and both moms too
I love it when you share about your daily life
About your food trip and adventures as a wife
Sis Eylz, who I think, is one of the celebrities
I was surprised we had a number of commonalities
She loves to have coffee in the morning
I bet she looks great on those dangling earrings
She makes me laugh and I love her cooking
My dear Belozariana, you are so amazing
Cheap and healthy home-made recipes
With lots of joys and great memories
And dear Talecharm, the inspirational and mighty wanderer
Whose columns pushed me to be creative and better
She's mysterious, friendly, and warm
No wonder her name is Talecharm
Yup, the last but not the least
These 3 wonderful guys are the nicest
Tomix-Ajax, Rajpoot and Rehi
With high hopes that they'll stick with me
Lucky number 13, don't you think?
Read is the bridge, friendship is the link
Whether I'll have more or less, I'll still be happy!
But I got 13- most stayed, some went away,
for me it's too many!
This day is gonna be an appreciation day for my sponsors and I wish that I could also compose a poem for my subscribers one day.
I hope you like it, my friends.
I had to tend to a cute baby, perhaps we will go outside again and have a walk because my eldest has to study. I will catch up with all your articles later part of the night, when the babe is already asleep.
It's a cloudy day, a nice day to be spent outside. Go! Just make sure you follow all health protocols.
Cheers to a lovely week!
