Today for lunch, I revisit Ichiban Boshi, a Japanese Restaurant to try out another dish, This branch is located at the Pavillion KL Mall.
This time I feel like trying some of their makimono sushi.
For those who don't know what makimono sushi means, it means rolled sushi. Rolled sushi is made by placing an assortment of ingredients on a bed of sushi rice spread on a sheet of nori (seaweed). Using a makisu (bamboo mat), the rice and filling are rolled into a cylinder shape.
After looking at their menu, I order the following:
deep impact roll: seasoned mini octopus, scallop and tempura flakes
crispy abalone salad: seasoned abalone
crispy lobster roll: lobster salad and spring onion
Kappa maki: cucumber
