Can you see?
A child is a gift that every parent would be wishing for. The bringer of joy, laughter, and a better future. At the earlier stage of the child's bringing, it could be a tough challenge, especially for a single parent or those who have a working partner.
Sincerity in taking care of a child is important. We should not be too greedy for a child's desires. They might become rebellious or depressed because they cannot have their desires. It's either they become too angry or too sad because they felt neglected or rejected. We should take the time to explain if we cannot afford to fulfill their desires.
Children are the reflection of ourselves. Anything that we do right or wrong will be seen in them. Perhaps we cannot control our habits but we can surely guide them to become better.
It is happiness to see the kindness in them and regrets to see the bad attitude in them. That all comes from us because we allowed it to happen. By saying allowed it does not mean that we should say 'no' to everything. Sometimes experiences teach better than guidance.
Telling them that we love them or we are sorry is the way to let them know our feelings. A child not yet can interpret our actions except for hugs and kisses I think. Even as an adult, it is very difficult to get to know someone else feelings without them saying anything.
Words are essential. Communication is important but some expect others to understand them without saying a word.
People are not God or mind readers. The best we can do is guess but it will not be as good as expressed by words. Quietness is not a problem solver. It is only used as a resting place before we are ready to use our words or after we arranged our thoughts.
Do not wait for the spark to die or for everything becomes empty before taking an action. I might have been too late for my action but I hope this article can somehow help some of us to take any action before we lose it all.
It is better to try and prepare to fail rather than doing nothing and not knowing whether we do have the chance or not.
Children usually learn from what they see and not what you tell them that's why we should act upright so they will learn from it.
