The shooting star.

Dear readers of read.cash, today, in order to please some people who very kindly want me to write a very happy story, I’m going to write a story. This is a story that, at the time of writing, I don't know yet how I’ll start it or how I will end it but what I do know is that I will create it as happy as I can.

Paulina is a very sensitive girl who likes flowers and smiles in the morning, that doesn't take away from the fact that she is an enterprising woman. Underneath all that character to run her company is a woman in love with love itself.

She loves these movies that, even though they are old, she likes to watch again and again and, if possible, she sits down to watch them and repeat their dialogue just as the girl who interprets a character says it.

Sometimes she cries with movies, but only with the sentimental ones, with those movies of frustrated loves, of impossible and found loves, of triumphant returns. That's Paulina.

She lives far away from her parents because it was here where she found her first job. After graduating as an interior decorator, she dedicated herself fully to bringing out all the love she has inside.

She calls her parents at night, she wishes them the best and although she has asked them to come to this part of the world they prefer their own beautiful place, the place where Paulina was born and raised.

A place full of charms, where the rainbows never tire of coming, where the breeze is perpetual and brings all the scents of the forest. This town, although far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, still has its charm for those who visit it.

On full moon nights you can see the clarity of the sky. A sky full of lights of all sizes. You can stand on any terrace or your own favorite place and count those stars over and over again. From time to time you can even get to see how a star moves from the beautiful sky and tries to reach our place.

You can make a wish, if you believe in them, and that's what Paulina did one night before she came to this side of the world to work.

She asked her shooting star not to leave her many years away from her hometown and that, when she returned, she could find true love.

That love, like in the movies she enjoys, that she has experienced over and over again in her favorite films. She knows it's almost impossible to achieve but that doesn't mean it really can't be done and until she finds her true love she won't beat around the bush thinking about any hobbies.

If Paulina is simply not interested in a fleeting love like the star of that night and so it has remained to this day. She has been away from home for 5 years and is about to return if her project gives her the green light, otherwises he will stay another time until he completes her goals.

But life makes our plans change from time to time, even if we put a lot of effort into them and that's what happened that night.

Paulina called home and her mother told her that her father was a little overworked and had to be admitted to the hospital for a check-up. It was nothing serious but they needed to find out the cause of his ailments.

Her mother was really worried, Paulina didn't have to ask if they needed her presence or not, she decided to do so even before she had finished talking to her mother.

She never ever saw or knew that her father was afflicted with anything and she assumed something bigger… Something is wrong with her father and it is time for her to come home. She doesn't want to be burdened with feelings of sadness that won't leave her alone until she sees her father safe and sound.

She decides to go to work in the morning and fix everything, she talked to her boss and came clean, she’ll do everything in her power for her parents and if she has to go back to work she will and if she has to stay with her parents… well, that remains to be seen.

Her parents only want good for their children, nothing makes them ask her to come back and they just want to know that she is happy, that is simply enough for them.

At dawn she gathers everything she needs and then some, she goes to work and says goodbye and from there she goes to catch the flight she had already set aside the night before.

It was a journey of several hours, but there on that flight there was always plenty of comfort to watch her best movies on her laptop, she would watch them all until she reached her destination. She put on her headphones, made herself comfortable and flew.

She didn't notice, but next to her sat a gentleman who did the same as her and as soon as he took his seat, he settled in and put on his headphones to watch his own movie.

Without realizing it, they were both watching the same movie at the same time, only at the moment she shed her tears at the most romantic scene she put her head to the side and saw that the person just to her left was also watching the same scene as her… But he wasn't crying and just watched his movie without blinking, she turns back to her own thing and lets the moment pass to devote herself to her favorite part.

The plane arrives at its destination, everything is pleasant. Now it’s night there, and she has to take a car into town. She went to rent a car and there is only one left and it is at the very moment she is resolving to pay for her rental there is another person who is also willing to get it.

…And well my friends this is where this story ends for today, but don’t worry, this story will continue.
