Respect.

Respecting other people does not mean that I agree with a person's way of being, expressing or living. What respect means to me is that I can see or hear them and give them the attention they deserve, without showing my authority or wanting to modify their way of being because they think, feel, say or show characteristics that are different from mine.

Are we different? Yes, we are all different in many ways. We have different ways of looking at life, we have different experiences accumulated over a lifetime and that causes us to have different points of view. Although many people can be many years old and have no more experience in life than other people who are younger but have lived in very particular situations that give them a lot of experience.

In God's eyes we are all the same, but in God's eyes everything is different.

We are different. Many things make us different. We all have similarities but in conclusion we are different from many points of view. Some of us are obese like me, others are morbidly obese and others are of a weight according to their age and height but that difference in physical appearance does not exclude us from respecting each other.

The culture we have, the one we learned at home and through our experiences teaches us that people deserve respect, but people tend to only respect if in their environment of coexistence they were taught to care about respect.

At present I can see that many people don’t respect others simply because they don’t have the same tastes and bring out their preferences and try to force others to think, feel and behave as the majority does.

There are laws, these try to maintain a certain limit in the lack of respect towards minorities, who consider themselves different. As they feel that they are rejected by the majority, they also reject those who do not accept them as they are, thus falling into disrespect on both sides.

Who has the right to make fun of people who are different from us? I’m of the thought that we must have limits on our pride. I think we should learn to be more humble to have more tolerance towards each and every person that already exists and that we are different from each other, that we think differently and that we live differently.

I think that we live in a very heterogeneous world that is capable by its intelligence to learn to bear with each other. Without discrimination, without imposing our habits or our customs, without wanting to dominate the other because we are stronger.

Respect is a wonderful way of living, accepting different points of view without trying to change others to become what they are not. Respect can be learned and is important in order to have a life in which for various reasons we are exposed to change.

Man changes constantly because the way of life he leads allows him to modify his thoughts and habits in the way his experience develops. Through these changes to which we are subjected daily we can see things from different angles and learn.

What we learn we must apply to our thoughts and subject it to the changes that are necessary to allow us to live in harmony with the environment, with people and with the events that we cannot change because they are a fundamental part of an identity.

We learn to respect and we learn to live. This does not mean that we should live with people who are different in our eyes because of our way of being or thinking, but we should encourage people to learn to accept each other for our greater happiness.

Respect is one of our best tools for a better and happier life. This is my personal way of getting along with others, applying respect.

Indeed. Respect should not vanish whatever status you are now or before. Always remember that we came from ashes and we become ashes when we die.
