Achieving what you want?
Life is a mystery in its workings. I say this as a trivial way of getting into the subject I will now address.
Many times we have heard older people say that we must study to achieve success, but we encounter very different situations in life, there are people who have studied to have a degree and thus be creditors of certain credentials to qualify for good jobs, but over time they are disappointed to see that they have not achieved what was instilled in them.
The opposite happens with many other people who have not studied and even only reached a basic level in high school but have had the success they wanted to find.
I don't mean to imply with this that we should not study or prepare ourselves to achieve our desired dreams, in any way. Because there are many people who have given their greatest possible time to their studies and have achieved overwhelming success.
Now what I am getting at is the following... should you study for the sake of studying... or should you follow your passion no matter what it means to quit or what you have to do? I particularly believe that no one has the perfect formula to know if all your efforts in life will get the desired merits or if what you are doing will simply be a failure.
The best answer to this is to do what you have to do. There are and there were people who seem to have been born to study, to prepare themselves in their profession and so good professionals they are and were. This is where I want to get to, they fought for their greatest passion and they succeeded.
While there are people who did not find it so interesting to study and focused on doing what their heart asked them to do. They did it with such fervor that they achieved their success and reached their goals and they continue to work at it to achieve supremacy.
It's good then to know not as a final conclusion but as an encouragement that every effort with passion has a success on the way that is commensurate with their way of striving to achieve it.
I don't believe that everyone is ready to study and give their all nor do I believe that everyone is ready to make a maximized effort to achieve a success at the end of their vision.
Visionary people are the ones who manage to have success in their hands because they are not making the path as they go along but they are seeing the path they already had in their mind. Do I make myself clear?
What I mean by this is that there are people who have a futuristic idea of what they want to achieve and all their efforts are directed to make the path from where they are until they reach that specific vision they have.
On the other hand, there are other people who do not succeed because in their mind they do not have the final product but they start and go tracing paths to see where and how far they get.
To be more permissive it has also happened that these people who are struggling in life without a fixed path can have a stroke of good life and be directed to success without themselves knowing it.
Where this can go, it's a paradox. No one knows exactly how success works, but it is advisable to set goals, objectives, have discipline and a vision of where you want to go.
Success is not for everyone, it only comes to those who really want to sacrifice a lot of themselves to achieve it. I think the important thing is to always maintain humility when you get to where you want to be, because thinking that we are better because we achieve what others do not, does not make us better people and yet there are all kinds of people with all kinds of mentalities who have also achieved success.
Where do you place yourself, in being humble, in being arrogant or in being indifferent to everything because it is as simple as that nothing around you interests you to waste your time in thoughts outside your needs.
We are people so equal and at the same time we are all unique in our essence. Nothing is the same in life, nothing is as good or as bad, we must keep ourselves whole and respect ourselves first and then respect the world, it is much easier.
Do not stop studying what you yearn for even if you find it very difficult at first, do not stop fighting for what you want even if at some point along the way your demons torment you. If it is to study, study, if it is to work, work. Don't stop at anything, the world will want to stop you but just listen to them and keep going. Pursue your dreams until they take you to the end and then you will be able to see if you reach the triumph or if you still have a long way to go.
Whatever you decide to do understand that there is more than one way to achieve what you want, it can be short or it can be long your way. It all depends on you and how much you love yourself and how you respect yourself. Your decisions are the ones that count, good or bad decisions will get you to the end. It's up to you. Either the longer or shorter path, it doesn't matter, but if you are going to get there, you will get there.
Thank you all for your comments and votes.
Everything we do out of love usually leads us to success, whether we want to succeed or not, even when we donβt have clear goals. I never have a specific goal and I don't know where life will take me. But lately I've been trying to do what I love and I feel well.
