"Pushing is different from trying"

It's true that we don't need to push our children to eat that much and what we want them to eat. But for me, it depends on how the parents work for it without pushing their children what they don't want to. I'm proud to share my ways how to raise my children and it's my own opinion and own strategy as you can see in every article that I wrote about parents and children. One of my examples that I don't push my children is eating something that they don't want to eat. Yes, why? I have my own way about that. Let them try to eat what they don't want little by little, a little briefing is needed like tell them the benefits of those foods they don't like. And I'm proud to say that my children did it. As long as the foods are healthy nothing to worry about eating that nutrition. Actually, it's really fun letting them try because they are actually paying attention to what I am talking about the foods. Just for example their favorite fish, all they want in a fish is dried fish and it's not really healthy we all know that. Do something creative and attractive to them. What I did is making soup for dried fish.

just boil water and add onions, ginger, tomatoes, calamansi, garlic, and veggies then last put the dried fish. It's tasty enough, look I'm sharing foods that are affordable enough and yet healthy. My children didn't eat that cabbage called pechay here Jn the Philippines but putting it on Tilapia fish, it's effective. My son said it's delicious! So don't let your children made their own decision in eating foods only what they want. Make an experiment for them, it's effective.

"It is mutual significance to take a procedure and try it, if it goes wrong, admit it and try another. But above all, try something."

I may not be a mom but I've been feeding picky kids all my life. I learned that you can put the ingredients they hate into things they like. Like when i turn vegetables they hate into stuff like burger patty mixes or in frued rice. They enjoy it

What I miss is the age you are talking about. Two years old frequently refuse to eat which is normal just like saying "no" to everything. I doubt a lecture about the great nutrients will do the trick this besides children develop taste. They have to like a certain taste, get familiar to a new one and it might be they simply do not like what you cooked. For years I did not eat a certain vegetable because of the way the housekeeper cooked it. Every 5-7 years taste changes. Not only with children but adults too. Besides the fact children still know when they had enough and what is healthy for them.

We can call it healthy but it can be life dangerous for your child. I learned my lesson with that.

Maybe dangerous when you forced them but I'm not forcing my children, I just being creative when cooking their dish and I'm proud it's effective, and make sense, they like the taste and they eat.. Like "mama I want to eat that with like this and like that." Well, let's do this let's do that and we both were enjoying.

Here is an example of forcing that I experienced when I was a child, they always let me eat left over foods like porridge without any sprinkle, I mean plain porridge and that's ewwww, I was 5 years old at that time.
