How were the Philippines in today's time?

The Duterte administration posed several controversies that oscillate the democratic principles of the state. Given democracy and fairness to make a 'just' government, how would the Filipino people eradicate the authoritarian ruling of the current administration?

These are controversial questions that seek to find their answers. Now, we have the chance to elect a new leader to redeem our democratic principles to action. Would you rather choose to express democracy or fall short in the hands of a threat to our freedom of democratic expression?

In my country today, we are preparing for the 2023 election and a lot of the aspirants are already giving out bribes in form of money and food stuffs so people will vote for them. All I see is another four years of suffering awaiting us.

Hi, nathawriter! Sorry for the late reply. Honestly, I agree with you. More people were rather skeptical of the truth which was the reason why things turned out different from how some expected them to be. Don't falter, things would be better eventually.

Hopefully people would do vote wisely for the leader that could do the change, that everyone wants. We all need a leader that was trustworthy enough and reliable for the position.
