We don't know how to tell her. Maybe some other time when we have courage. Arghhh. But she deserves to know as soon as possible. What should we do?* ... ***Kyla****: What now? I don't want us to be broken. (Crying)* I just hugged her because I don't know what to say. I started to cry too. She must be tired from crying, my poor sister, and when Kyla fell asleep, I went to my room and took a shower. I don't want to believe what I saw but that's the reality. Our father cheated our mother and it won't change. Like Kyla, I don't want this family to be broken. But our mom deserves to know everything and we need solid evidence so she will believe us. After taking a shower, I went out to my room and checked Kyla if she was awake but no. So, I will just tell mom that Kyla is already sleeping and must be tired from something.  At the dining area... ***Mom****: Kyle, where is Kyla?*  ***Me****: uhm, she is sleeping, mom. The next morning, still the everyday routine, eating breakfast and dad drove us to school. See ya!* We bid goodbye to each other.  Fastforward… Saturday came… I told mom that me and Kyla will go on a date. I didn't tell her about Margaux. Maybe, I surprised her on my birthday. We arrived at the cafeteria 30 minutes before the meeting time. (Inspired by author yarn? Early bird. Haha). Then after 20 minutes, Margaux arrived. ***Margaux****: Hi! Oh, she's your sister?*  ***Me****: Yeah, her name is Kyla.* ***Margaux****: Nice meeting you Kyla. She extended her hand while smiling.* *Kyla grabbed Margaux's hand without saying a word.*  ***Me****: Okay, let's order.* While waiting for our order, we just talk about something, we laugh so hard about our childhood memories and other experiences. Margaux is a nice girl but I think I can't have her.  After eating in a cafeteria, Margaux told me that she needs to leave because she is meeting her friends too. When she was about to stand, I called her and invited her to my birthday. I told her when, then she asked for my mobile number and left. Fastforward again… (ayaw ko na ng part 3 haha) Just a few more days and it’s my birthday. I’m not excited but mom is because of Margaux. Everyday she is telling me that I must bring Margaux on my birthday. Riiiiiiingggggggg…. I checked my phone and I saw that an unknown number was calling. ***Me****: Yes? Who is this?* ***Unknown****: This is Margaux.*  ***Me****: Oh, Margaux, why did you call?* ***Margaux****: uhm Kyle, I will check my schedule first, I’m  not sure if I can’t attend on your birthday, I’m sorry.* ***Me****: It’s fine, don’t worr*y. Days passed… Today is my birthday, February 09, 2022. **I'm not expecting dad to celebrate with us.** *I muttered.*  **I heard it. Why do you say so?** *Mom asked.* **Because today is Wednesday, mom.** *I replied.* **Hmm. Let me ask your dad to**— *Mom didn’t continue what she’s about to say because a familiar voice says* “**Happy birthday, son**!”  ***Mom****: why are you here?* ***Dad****: Of course, it’s my son’s birthday. I file leave.* ***Mom****: Yes, we are complete.* Riiiiiiingggggg…. Margaux is calling. Before I answered my phone, I went outside. ***Me:*** *Hello, Margaux?* ***Margaux****: Happy birthday, Kyle! I think I can go there. Send me your address and I’ll be there within 30 mins.* ***Me****: That’s good! See you later!*  We were preparing food when we heard a doorbell. I volunteer to check who it was and to my surprise, it’s Margaux. ***Me****: Hey, you look beautiful. Come in.* ***Margaux****: Thanks!*  When we entered our house, everyone was looking at Margaux. Mom with a happy face, Kyla with a poker face and dad with a shocked reaction. **Everyone, meet Margaux, my friend.** *I stated.* Before mom opened her mouth, Margaux called our dad. ***Margaux:*** *Anthon? You are also here? So this is your nephew’s birthday? What a small world. And Kyle, your uncle is my suitor. That’s why I’m not sure if I can go to your birthday because he always asks me on a dinner date every Wednesday. He e-* ***Dad****: Stop, Margaux.* ***Mom****: What is the meaning of this? Kyla and I followed her and hugged while all of us were crying. Seeing mom crying breaks my heart but she doesn't deserve to be cheated and be fooled by dad.  I also feel bad for Margaux, she has been fooled too. Tsk.
