Even after almost 50 years since his death, Morrison's sonorous baritone is still one of the best ways to escape reality.

He was born in 1943 as James Douglas Morrison, in Melbourne (USA). After the military call to the Morrisons, their lives became full of relocations, which greatly influenced Jim himself, in addition to his later severance of relations with his parents.

As a child, on one occasion, Jim encountered a car accident while traveling with his parents, where the bodies of Indian workers were scattered. It was then that he began to claim that the spirit of an old Indian shaman had entered him. Many did not believe the story, although he claimed the same thing years later. Exactly that, was reflected in his later behavior, when he wore Indian necklaces and a belt and often performed an Indian ritual dance on stage. On this occasion, Ray Manzarek (a member of the band "The Doors") once said with a smile:

"When someone tells you such a crazy great story, you certainly won't tell him he's lying. Of course he lies - he is an artist! That's the job of an artist - to make up stories, and Jim was an artist. "

The fact that Jim was an artist is evidenced by the fact that, in addition to a great and unsurpassed good voice, he was also very skilled in writing poetry.

"Real poetry, in principle, does not say anything. It only shows the possible variants. Poetry opens all doors, and it is up to you to choose through which you will enter the chosen dimension. That is why poetry attracts me, it is so eternal and timeless. Combinations of words, songs and poetry will only survive the Last Judgment. "No one will remember movies, sculptures, paintings, but music and songs will continue to exist through time and space." Jim Morrison

Some of the greatest minds and artists, such as Nietzsche, William Blake, Joseph Campbell and others, influenced his writing. Thus, the inspiration for the name of the band "The Doors" came from Blake's sentence: "If the door of perception was cleared, everything would appear to a person as it really is, endlessly." His songs were full of cults and symbolism, which Jim understood best.

In addition to music and poetry, Jim also showed an interest in cinematography, so he finished his cinematography studies at UCL, where he later met Ray Manzarek , the keyboardist with whom he founded the band.

Jim was very shy, at first he was afraid to hold the microphone, but over time, he transformed into a wild and indomitable guy, with a unique voice and high IQ, which is why he did not suffer authority and always stood out from the crowd, even if he didn't really want that.

With the rise of the band "The Doors", Jim's life changed direction. He started wandering and enjoying LSD more and more, which is why he became a god of rock from a chubby boy, which was immortalized by Joel Brodsky with a series of black and white photographs. This series of photographs was remembered thanks to the cult pose of the crucified Christ, which was on the cover of the album "Best of the Doors".

Morrison's wandering life took on meaning when he met Pamela Kerson, his longtime companion. Pamela was his inspiration and passion. Their relationship was seemingly ideal, but in essence, full of heated discussions and disagreements. Despite all that, Pamela stayed with Jim for the rest of his life. They moved together to Paris in 1971, where his life ended, according to official data, due to a heart attack. Three years after his death, Pamela died, also at the age of 27, as did Jim, which led him to Club 27, which was made up of stars who died at the age of 27 (Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Kurt Cobain and others).

Jim Morrison, has remained and will forever be remembered for his eccentricity and non-belonging to this world. He was a great artist and singer, who marked a time when music still meant something. He didn't ask to be remembered, but that's the least we can do for him, while his spirit, like the spirit of a shaman flies through this world and we believe he still sings hits like "Riders on the storm", "The End", "LA Woman "" Touch me "," People are strange "and many others.

Jim Morrison is definitely left a mark on the history of rock music. Too bad he ended up with drugs. He was such a young, so creative and such a great musician. He was a legend.

Some weird, unwritten rule, that all the big rock stars leave early. That's sad. Jim was king!

Drugs kill everything that exists alive in a person. Unfortunately, he used LSD and it is possible that it affected him to get a heart attack! He left this world at the age of 27, really too early, life was just ahead of him ...
